In such misfortunes my Mother was of an heroic spirit, in suffering patiently when there was no remedy, and being industrious where she thought she could help.

Good will come,
Good will come,
Good will come,
Evil will go away,
Everyday there is the Remedy in Goodwill,
Everything on Earth will be that Reward,
There is the good that is from God,
There is justice that is from the good Spirit,
Every good things are from God,
All Goodwill will come by Spirit of Good Fruits,
Every Remedy will be that Great Spirit,
It is that Remedy that Good will come,
Evil will Run away,
God will conquer all that man did upon the Earthly Dwelling,
I can perceive their Understanding,
That the Sun will shine on that which live's Forever,
Everything on this Planet is Goodwill over Evil.

The Remedy
With the remedy in my hand
The redemy I thought would end all my misery
I took off the cap and started to down it
With the remedy in my throat
It tastes of vile poison
As I start to feel the remedy decay my veins
I feel a sharp pain in my stomach
The pain dulled and my body numb
I though the remedy worked until I saw her
She was terrified
Like she had seen a ghost
Thats when I knew no redemy could cure
This heartbreak except her unconditional love

Life is thickly sown with thorns, and I know no other remedy than to pass quickly through them. The longer we dwell on our misfortunes, the greater is their power to harm us.
Comprehension...Or Torment
No one knows,
When we suffer.
Or how it is we suffer,
When suffering comes and is done...
By anyone
No one knows the extent of it.
How deep what is felt.
And when those sorrows visit to sit.
Although folks give advice and instructions.
With sections of pamphlets,
To read by professionals.
To emphasize their recommendations,
Underlined in 'red'.
Suggestions researched...
To read and ease our minds,
Before going to bed!
Hopefully not to stay awake...
To pace the floor instead.
No one knows,
When we suffer.
Or how it is we suffer,
When suffering comes and is done...
By anyone.
When suffering comes.
And alone it is done!
And listening to someone say to us to pray...
Is not a cure all or remedy,
That takes our suffering to numb quickly away.
But...
Pray we must,
And trust...
That those burdens carried,
Will be lifted up and away from us.
Knowing in our hearts...
God watches and will do His part!
No one knows,
When we suffer.
Or how it is we suffer,
When suffering comes and is done....
By anyone.
When suffering comes.
And alone it is done!
So it seems.
Only God knows how to heal and mend!
Only God knows when to send our sufferings away.
And many times with faith...
God intervenes.
Before the suffering has had a chance,
To arrive on the scene.
Depending on what it is we wish to choose.
Comprehension...
Or torment,
With unquestioned agony!

He lives out in Orchard Park. I mean, to be able to sit on the bench so patiently, for whatever part, and to be able to get up and do something, with such heroic competencies would be great.

Helen Oyibo Onojovwo [ For Your Self Denials, Which Has Made Me What I Am ]
Three decades ago
When you thought
You where going have me
From dad, you faced persecution
And I thought you where
Going to murder me.
,
Two decades ago
When you had me
And it seemed the world
Was coming down on you,
From dad you faced persecution
And I thought you where
Going to abandon me.
.
Years ago when I was goin
To be a man
And the burden was becoming
Too great for you alone,
Me and my sisters,
On your shoulders alone.
And I thought you were going
To give up on us.
But yet, you did not
In your greatest suffering
You never left us to suffer alone,
In your greatest need,
You did not sell us out
Instead you gave us life
And kept us alive
My lioness!
If I were to be born again
I would come through you
You had been more than a father
A mother, a brother, and a sister
All put together
And I'm always proud,
To call you my mother.

A Mother's Love
What is a Mother's love? Only a Mother will know,
When a Child is sick with fever, and the pulse is slow;
A Mother will not sleep or rest, till the child is well,
This is what my Mother did, she cared, I could tell.
What is a Mother's love? As it's only a Mother can feel,
When a Child is so bad, she makes her Mother feel like a heel;
Like the Mother will keep her patience till she wants to cry,
But in the end, when; the child is sorry, then she will sigh.
What is a Mother's love? Only a Mother can say with Love,
My Mother never did give up, it's the Same as God above;
When we Hurt our Mother, show Angers, a grieve them too,
We need to say sorry, and also to God this is true.
God and Mother's are almost the same, Forgiving and Receiving,
God just patiently waits for us, to be well behaving;
And say sorry for our sin, He' ll never give up on us,
So is a Mother's Love, she shows love, she'll never fuss.

The reason can only be this: heroic poetry depends on an heroic age, and an age is heroic because of what it is, not because of what it does.

Spirit is mortal too.
My grandmother lived in me
As a guiding spirit.
Now mother has taken that place.
She would cease to be so
To my kids when their mother
Evaporates into spirit.
Spirit too is mortal.

Mother In Law
(a. toussaint)
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
The worst person I know
Mother in law, mother in law
She worries me so
Mother in law, mother in law
If she leaves us alone
We could have a happy home
Sent from down below
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
Satan should be her name
Mother in law, mother in law
To me theyre about the same
Mother in law, mother in law
Everytime I open my mouth
Steps in trying to put me out
How could you stood so low
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
Come home with my pay
Mother in law, mother in law
She asks me what I made
Mother in law, mother in law
She thinks her advice is a contribution
If she would leave that would be the solution
Dont come back no more
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law....

Misfortunes leave wounds which bleed drop by drop even in sleep thus little by little they train man by force and dispose him to wisdom in spite of himself. Man must learn to think of himself as a limited and dependent being and only suffering teaches him this.

Mother
Mother are you mad at me
Mother are you scared
That someday you will turn around
And look to find your blue-eyed boy's not there
But mother don't you worry
Mother don't you fret
Cos we've been through so much pain and joy and suffering
For me to forget
The times we had together
Times that were so full (??)
But time's gone by before my eyes
And I realise
Time was often cruel
So mother don't you worry
Mother don't you cry
Cos there'll come a day
When I will take the reins
From your fair hands and wave bye bye
Bye bye
