I've never really taken more than four days off, so it was a lot for me to go away for three-and-a-half months. I went all over Europe. I walked on a whole bunch of beaches and I did a lot of thinking.

The Pain I Forgot
It all started with my man and i sitting at the hospital waiting for blood test results to see what was happening to me
suddenly after hours of waiting the doctor came in and said congratulations your pregnant
months went by i still think of him as my most beautiful surprise
some days were hard others were easy most flew by
so im 3 days past my due date
been in back labor for 5 days
it hurts and its crazy
woke up to contractions at 11: 00
went to the hospital they said your 2 cm dilated
and we know your contractions are 4 mins appart
so go home try to walk as much as you can
walked for a half hour around the house contractions got 2 mins appart
they took me bk i was 4 an a half cm i said look just give me the epadural
they came back a half hour later my aunt kept saying sandy
blow out hunters birthday candles
they broke my water an gave me the epadural finally said ok its time to push
half way through the called in an expert
sandy dont panic but hes face up
now your gunna feel pressure just dont push
it wasnt pressure it was pain
i wanted to cry cause they had to turn him
next thing i know they say
sandy we have an expert here hes stuck your to small so we have to use the vaccume
i wanted to cry my aunt saw the tears in my eyes
the dad had to run out befor he fainted
my aunt held my hand cut the cord
then the pain was over,
they handed me my baby boy and i started to cry looked up at my aunt and said hes so beautiful as my bf walked in saw me holding hunter and we both cried and i forgot the pain
no ever time i look at him i can say i never wanna go through that again
but he is worth everything everyday

Forever
it's been days and months
it'll be years...forever
no one leaves unless they're left
the abandoned don't like
emptiness they stay with
filled with days and months
days and months and years
forever

That it’s dangerous
That it’s dangerous
to travel alone
lots of people have told me
and I have also
read it in poems
and ask you to accompany me
to places where the night falls dark
and days that are sometimes without end
and oceans that are bluer
than anything that we know
to beaches that are soft, inviolate and white
which go past the horizon,
but more than this
I need you
as my comrade, companion
and life partner
to as pilgrims together
go into the wide world
so that minutes become hours,
days, months and years
and if at a time
we become refugees
from staying young
and life bit by bit
slowly pass away with time
I’ll love you
and you’ll adore me.

The Brady Bunch
You can watch mr. rogers
You can watch threes company
And you can turn on fame or the nelywed game
Or the addams family
I say, you can watch barney miller
And you can watch your mtv
And you can watch till your eyes fall out of your head
Thatll be ok with me
And you can watch (tv)
You can watch johnny carson
You can watch phil donahue
And you can use tv guide to help you decide
With capsulized review
Say, you can watch 60 minutes
Even captain kangaroo
But theres only one set, so what ever you watch
Well, you know I gotta watch it too
Say, give it up, give it up, televisions taking its toll
Thats enought, thats enough, gimme the remote controll
I been nice, I been good, please dont do this to me
Turn it off, turn it off, I dont want to have to see
The brady bunch
Not the brady bunch
Well, the brady bunch
Yeah, the brady bunch
Its the story of a lovely lady
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls
All of them had hair of gold, like their mother
The youngest one in curls
Its a story of a man named brady
Who was busy with three boys of his own
They were four men living all together
Yeah, but they were all alone
Until the one day, one day when the lady met the fellow
And they knew, and they knew it was much more than a hunch
Then they knew this group must somehow form a family
Thats the way, thats the way, thats the way they all became
The brady bunch
Well, the brady bunch
Yeah, the brady bunch
Well, the brady bunch
Oh, its the brady bunch
Its the brady bunch
Oh, the brady bunch, yeah
Oh, the brady bunch
Its the brady bunch
Well, its the brady bunch
Well, its the brady bunch
Well, its the brady bunch
Its the brady bunch

Elizabeth and Albert
Elizabeth wore black hooded gown
red rose in her hand
soft winds blowing all around
she walked the hills through Ivory and heather
to where a gravestone lay
placed the rose upon her loved ones grave
looked out across the sea as tears fell down her face.
She walked the hills everyday
days turned into months
these hills was their favourite place
‘twas where they first met, first kissed, first made love.
Cold winter months set in
single rose in her hand
she walked through windswept heather
strong winds blowing her gown
placed rose upon Albert’s grave
whispers i’ll come back tomorrow
i shall always bring you a rose
my dearest Albert my heart is yours.
As she walked down the stony pathway
through boulders covered in moss
she slipped and fell to her death
died upon rocks
her ghostly image can be seen
walking through the heather
her love for him was so strong
red rose she holds forever.

Twenty Two Days
(pitney)
Oh its been 22 lonely blue days without a word from you
And 44 million more tears Ive cried since you walked through that door
The sun never reaches my doorstep each empty day seems to be the same
Youve broken your vow but I still love you now, oh this love of mine is a one way losing game
And its been 22 lonely blue days without a word from you
And 44 million more tears Ive cried since you walked through that door
The dreams that we share are gone forever but I still have a little hope in my heart
Is this the way it ends? are we to be both friends? oh I cant go on if were to be apart
And its been 22 lonely blue dayswithout a word from you
And 44 million more tears Ive cried since you walked through that door
Yeah 22 days since you walked through that door
Ah 22 days since you walked through that door
Yeah 22 days since you walked through that door
Mmmm 22 days since you walked through that door

My Journey
I've walked my feet
all over this earth.
I've done this walking
mere months from my birth.
I've walked when life
was insecure.
I've walked in sand
down by the shore.
I've followed the footsteps
of family and friends.
And sometimes these steps
led to dead ends.
But every step that I ever took
was a step towards finding you.
Would I do it again?
Of course I would.
Would I find you again?
I'd hope that I could.
For the walking is only
worth the while
if the miles I walked
produced your smile.

Thug Love
I need you; I feel the hurt
Trying to numb it, but it just don't work
I could take a sip, or I could take a hit
Pop a few pills, don't help a bit
Slam on the gas, ain't going nowhere
But in the end, nowhere's better than here
My baby, baby, baby
Though he's not here now
My baby, baby, baby
I bet you wonder how
I could say I'm tru, I'm magic, he's real
We'll get through, it's tragic, we'll heal
I knew one day he'd get down, he'd kneel
And then he'd tell me the way he feel
But even before, there was a connection
God sent us in the same direction
My baby, baby, baby
Got the heart of the biggest lion
My baby, baby, baby
Biggest problem he never lying
Three and a half, three and a half
Please tell me your talking bout months
Three and a half, three and a half
Shit, that's just tough
Countin down the days,2 hundo to go
And when I get to one, baby only you know

Its All Gone
A careless heart aint no good to no-one
I was going back my friends to see
Of what became of my childhood daydreams
Of all the things that used to be
To my surprise I stood alone
I walked a river of a waking dream
My father say know what youre thinking
I guess this old town seen better days
Its all gone
Aint nothing for you here now
Sail on
You talk of change, something better
Cutting down that big old tree
Theres flesh and blood in there somewhere
But no matter what you just dont seem to see
I walk your chambers, your empty halls
I see you talking behind the doors
My father say know what youre thinking
I guess this old town seen better days
Its all gone
Aint nothing for you here now
Sail on
Im sailing on, Im running faster
Than I ever run before
My father say know what youre thinking
I guess this old town seen better days
Sail on

Yesterday is a Maze.
History is bunk some one said.
History is an interpretation of
the past said another. Yesterday
is a lost land to Mother. Her half
blind eyes scan him and she says
who are you? He informs her,
but she is none the wiser. She just
smiles and looks away. Maybe she'll
remember him another day.
Nine months she carried him
within her womb. Her first born
whom she tended, fed and bred
and suckled, whom she nearly lost,
but saved and thought of in her
unclouded days. Dribble hangs
about her lips. Her words come
jumbled as if she pulled them
randomly from a box without
knowing or looking. Some days
they make sense; others, not.
Years ago she'd talk of art or
music or how to behave in a
certain way with a ladylike
manner in her stance or walk.
Now she sits most days in her
special chair. Her blue white eyes
in vacant stare. But he loves her
none the less. Still gives her
the honour due, gazes into
her eyes. Thinking that somewhere
within or beyond his Mother lies.

Ship Of Fools
Hello europe here we are, everything is easy
Lets cross the border without stop
Italian pasta mixed with fine french wine would be great
My stomach knows no state
Blond girls from sweden
And if thats garden of eden
I think thats o.k.
Turkish dope found a license of the pope
Dont think thats the only way.
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools
Allright!
Belgium beer with a jgermeister-deer
Thats why we here, I think this ones not for you
And swiss francs brought to polish banks
Thats life! a hard bone to chew
I dont want no austrians be instructors
In my home I guess theres something better
Spanish guitars combined with twenty german tubas
That wont work but it really doesnt matter
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools...
Allright!
Hey, hey!
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools cheers!
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools just watch it!
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a sink in a ship of fools
A shipper of a ship of fools, what part is that?
Europe rules, europe rules
Europe rules, watch your fools!

You saved me....
I walked down a endless black tunnel.
I gave up hope and I gave up looking.
I wasn't truly happy.
I wore fake smiles.
There wasn't much reason for me to go to school.
I would walk for hours.
Hours turned to days.
Days turned to weeks.
Weeks turned to months of walking in my lonely despair.
After a few months I began to see light.
When i surfaced you were the first one to catch my attention.
You pulled me out.
You made me happy.
You gave me reason to go to school.
You brought me out of my lonely despair.
And for that I thank you, and I will love you till the end of time maybe even longer.

I joined the air force. I took to it immediately when I arrived there. I did three years, eight months, and ten days in all, but it took me a year and a half to get disabused of my romantic notions about it.

Touche D'Amour
(3.30)
Somewhere in this crazy night
With all this noise, and all this light
I'm out upon the crowded street
I play the game and I keep the beat
Woo-oo
But I'm thinking of you
Woo-oo
But I'm thinking of you
And I remember the summer days
Your strenght and yet your gentle ways
Now I'm back on the crowded street
Through the darker days I keep the beat
Woo-oo
But I'm thinking of you
Woo-oo
But I'm thinking of you
Through all the grey, I see skies of blue
I close my eyes cause I'm thinking of you
And I pray to god, that what we had
We will have again someday
So I telephoned to tell you what
I'd hoped you'd like to hear me say
Woo-oo
But I'm thinking of you
Woo-oo
But I'm thinking of you

Half The World
Words by neil peart, music by geddy lee and alex lifeson
Half the world hates
What half the world does every day
Half the world waits
While half gets on with it anyway
Half the world lives
Half the world makes
Half the world gives
While the other half takes
Half the world is
Half the world was
Half the world thinks
While the other half does
Half the world talks
With half a mind on what they say
Half the world walks
With half a mind to run away
Half the world lies
Half the world learns
Half the world flies
As half the world turns
Half the world cries
Half the world laughs
Half the world tries
To be the other half
Half of us divided like a torn-up photograph half of us are
Trying to reach the other half
Half the world cares
While half the world is wasting the day
Half the world shares
While half the world is stealing away
