Touring is tough. You're almost in a haze because you don't really know where you are half the time: You're in a hotel room one moment, and the next thing you know, you're onstage performing for 60,000 people, then you're back on an airplane. It's very hectic and I couldn't do it without my family.

It's good to be playing one and a half hour again. In the States we played like an hour and when you got onstage it felt like all of a sudden you are already done your set. But now, it feels like we are touring again.

Sitting In My Hotel
If my friends could see me now, driving round just like a film star,
In a chauffeur driven jam jar, they would laugh.
They would all be saying that its not really me,
They would all be asking who Im trying to be.
If my friends could see me now,
Looking out my hotel window,
Dressed in satin strides and two-tone daisy roots,
If my friends could see me now I know they would smile.
Sitting in my hotel, hiding from the dramas of this great big world,
Seven stories high, looking at the world go by-y.
Sitting in my hotel room, thinking about the countryside and sunny days in june.
Trying to hide the gloom, sitting in my hotel room.
If my friends could see me now, dressing up in my bow-tie,
Prancing round the room like some outrageous poove,
They would tell me that Im just being used
They would ask me what Im trying to prove.
They would see me in my hotel,
Watching late shows till the morning,
Writing songs for old time vaudeville revues.
All my friends would ask me what its all leading to.
Sitting in my hotel, looking through the window at the people in the street,
Seven stories high looking at the world go by,
Sitting in my hotel, looking at the world outside.
If my friends could see me now they would try to understand me,
They would ask me what on earth Im trying to prove.
All my friends would ask me what its all leading to.

So I'm more at home with my backpack, sleeping in a hotel room or on a bus or on an airplane, than I am necessarily on a bed. It's weird being here. It feels like I'm standing next to my real life.

Love Hotel
If you travel with
Those who know you well
I can recommend
Stay at love hotel.
Every room a hallway
Softly sell
Dont get stranded on the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel, love hotel.
Dont deny yourself
It wants simple truth
Ring for give and take
As the floor and room.
Every room a hallway
Who can tell
Dont get stranded by the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel, love hotel.
Every room a hallway
Softly sell
Dont get stranded by the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel.

Annoyance Of A Family
1When you part of a family you face your ups and downs, you faces what goes and what comes back around, you face the headaches, heartbreaks, and most importantly the stupid mistakes. You face all of this and more and it always feels as though it is a chore.3But family is the most important thing anyone should adore. Family last for ages, through stone, through sand, family lasts even though a person needs to take a stand. Family is forever, and forever it shall be, no matter what you do, family is always within your destiny.5Family can be joyful as bell, but the one thing family always are, is annoying as hell. Annoyance any family shall be for it feels like their annoyance last for eternity, yet you love them with all your heart.7Towards the end of life from the start. Your with them even when the not near you, and for as their not in your sight there in your heart, to the moment you leave from the moment you had your start.9 Family is the only thing that last through the ages, from generation, and so forth, until true separation is in course, for then it is genocide of fellowship that often becomes remorse.

Onstage I do all the stuff I'd never do in real life, like lashing out at people who make me mad or freaking out in a long bank lineup. Performing allows me to fulfill all the sicko fantasies I've ever had.

Couple Sharing a Peach
It's not the first time
we've bitten into a peach.
But now at the same time
it splits--half for each.
Our "then" is inside its "now,"
its halved pit unfleshed--
what was refreshed.
Two happinesses unfold
from one joy, folioed.
In a hotel room
our moment lies
with its ode inside,
a red tinge,
with a hinge.

Shangri-La Hotel
A visit to Shangri-La Hotel,
To my lover's room;
A visit to Shangri-La Hotel,
Like the eyes of an elephant;
I want to be in everybody's shoes but,
My mind is bigger than my shoes.
Like a message to the blue bears,
Like amessage to the white bears,
Like a message to the black bears,
LIke a message to the brown bears,
Keep it clean and soft;
a simple life to the muse of love.
A visit to my lover's room,
I am always moving and i don't look back;
Forward ever!
A visit to my lover's room,
I am always moving without looking back;
Backwards never!
A visit to my lover's room,
I know my back could be crooked;
But, i always move on.
I will surely reach to the end one day,
Like a visit to Shangri-La Hotel;
Forward ever, backwards never.
There comes a time when all seems so lost but,
Don't give up on your dreams in this life;
Like a marriage in the rain,
I do have a lover to visit.
The visit of my lover's room is like,
A love song in the rain;
The visit to my lover's room is like,
To marry in the rain;
The visit to my lover's room is like,
To make love in the rain;
The visit to my lover's room is like,
To walk naked in the rain;
The visit to my lover's room is like,
To sing in the rain;
Life is like that at times and,
I have my mind on you.

100 Years
I'm 15 for a moment
Caught in between 10 and 20
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
I'm 22 for a moment
She feels better than ever
And we're on fire
Making our way back from Mars
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live
I'm 33 for a moment
Still the man, but you see I'm a they
A kid on the way
A family on my mind
I'm 45 for a moment
The sea is high
And I'm heading into a crisis
Chasing the years of my life
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy, Time to lose yourself
Within a morning star
15 I'm all right with you
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live
Half time goes by
Suddenly youre wise
Another blink of an eye
67 is gone
The sun is getting high
We're moving on...
I'm 99 for a moment
Dying for just another moment
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
15 there's still time for you
22 I feel her too
33 youre on your way
Every day's a new day...
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to choose
Hey 15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live

I'm all right I feel real light
I don't live a life that's uptight
Where there's fight there's struggling
I can't walk through the world
Without offering questions
What's my direction
Breakin' the grip of depression
There comes a day when you let THINGS go
There comes a time to a rock show
You know the time that you feel
THAT nothing else really matters
You're on the spot in the world
AND you belong
That's where I am when the lights going down
I'll find a way to make some fun
I know that there is a link of energy
To someone
How do you feel?
Cuz I couldn't ask for
A single thing more
How do you feel?
The moment you know
Just what you are for
I'm on a quest with a vision
I've got love and tradition
I wear a mask that grins and laughs
I remember what I've done
I'm a vibe under the sun
I penetrate all dimensions
I've come again
Rejuvenate within
I'm future animation
I feel the fuel rushing through my veins
It's a burning flame
You could take on the world
It's all in your brain
How do you feel?
Cuz I couldn't ask for
A single thing more
How do you feel?
The moment you know
Just what you are for
(bridge)
How do you feel?
Cuz I couldn't ask for
A single thing more
How do you feel?
The moment you know
Just what you are for
How do you feel?
Cuz I couldn't ask for
A single thing more
How do you feel?
The moment you know
Just what you are for

Theres A Small Hotel
Id like to get away, junior
Somewhere alone with you
It could be oh, so gay, junior
You need a laugh
Or two
A certain place I know, frankie
Where funny people can have fun
Thats where the two will go,
Darling
Before you can count up
One, two, three. for ...
Theres a small hotel
With a wishing well
I
Wish that we were there together
Theres a bridal suite
One room bright and neat
Complete for us to
Share together
Looking through the window
You can see a distant steeple
Not a sign of people -- who
Wants people?
When the steeple bell says,
Good night, sleep well,
Well thank the small hotel
Together
Well creep into our little shell
And we will thank the small hotel together

Everything Is Not Enough
It doesnt help you if you scream and shout
That isnt what this thing is all about
And do you really want to fight to win
Youre missing out and thats another sin
Your dream of power is a sacrifice
Do you really want to pay that price
Just think about it and youll change the pace
Look in the mirror tell me who do you face
Who is that?
Its everything, everything is not enough
I want it all, thats tough, thats tough, thats tough
Another dream, another dream, another dream goes pop
This is the time, lets stop, lets stop, lets stop
Nobody loves you if you moan all day
So take it easy then youll get your way
You aint no dummy and Im sure you know
You know its better if you let it go
Youre in control if you let it go
Youre feeling better when you let it flow
You never really had to catch the moon
Youre better jumping to another tune
So lets jump
Its everything, everything is not enough
I want it all, thats tough, thats tough, thats tough
Another dream, another dream, another dream goes pop
This is the time, lets stop, lets stop, lets stop
Its everything, everything is not enough
I want it all, thats tough, thats tough, thats tough
Another dream, another dream, another dream goes pop
This is the time, lets stop, lets stop, lets stop (do, do, do it)
Ive got it all but its not enough
I keep thinking boy I feel so rough
This cant be me, Im such a happy guy
I laugh a lot but I want to cry
A cry for help is just letting go
It hurts a lot but I think I know
Its time for change I dont need the hype
Its time for change and the time is ripe
So lets go
Its everything, everything is not enough
I want it all, thats tough, thats tough, thats tough
Another dream, another dream, another dream goes pop
This is the time, lets stop, lets stop, lets stop
Its everything, everything is not enough
I want it all, thats tough, thats tough, thats tough
Another dream, another dream, another dream goes pop
This is the time, lets stop, lets stop, lets stop
Its everything, everything is not enough
I want it all, thats tough, thats tough, thats tough
Another dream, another dream, another dream goes pop
This is the time, lets stop, lets stop, lets stop...

Santas Got An Airplane
Loop de loop flip flop santas got an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop flyin in an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop santas hearts full of joy
Loop de loop flip flop santas got a new toy
If youre up a little late on christmas eve this year
And youre waiting for that pudgy person to appear
Instead of the patter of tiny feet you will hear
cause loop de loop flip flop santas got an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop flyin in an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop santas hearts full of joy
Loop de loop flip flop santas got a new toy
He skydives down to the chimney with ease
Parachutes a package to the whole family
Its santas air special delivery to under your tree
Oh, well, loop de loop flip flop santas got an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop flyin in an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop santas hearts full of joy
Loop de loop flip flop santas got a new toy
Santa and rudy sittin at the controls
A buncha sleepy helpers waiting back at the pole
They know where they are cause they navigate by the stars!
cause loop de loop flip flop santas got an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop flyin in an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop santas hearts full of joy
Loop de loop flip flop santas got a new toy
Loop de loop flip flop santas got an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop flyin in an airplane
Loop de loop flip flop santas hearts full of joy
Loop de loop flip flop santas got a new toy
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away
Loop de loop flip flop fly away

Family Pictures
Don’t you just love old family pictures?
Dug out from dusty box or chest
I don’t think there is anything else
That can compare – they’re the absolute best
There is nothing like those black and whites
The photos from the past
Of course we know from history
That nothing ever lasts
Time moves on, of course it does
But pictures can live without end
They keep our families together
They are one thing that we can depend
Family pictures are such treasures
They take us back in time
They put us in the moment
And let the past unwind
As I go through several lifetimes
And look at my family’s history
I’m so thankful I have these photos
They help unravel many family mysteries!

A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel
From where I stand
I can see thrugh you
From where youre sitting, pretty one
I know it got to you
I see the stars in your eyes
You want the truth, but you need the lies
Like judy garland, like valentino
You give your life for rock n roll
Uh huh
Stand, were on a landslide of love
You got everything you want
But what you need you give away
For primitive love
And a ride on the mistery train
A primitive love
A room at the heart...
The heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak
Heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak
Heartbreak hotel
You say its love, its not the money
You let them suck your life out like honey
Turning tricks, youre on the street
Selling your kisses so bittersweet
[gospel voices]
A primitive love
A and a ride on the mistery train
A primitive love
A room at the heart
The heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak, the heartbreak,
The heartbreak hotel, hotel
[repeat until end]
