Only sixteen players have hit fifty or more homers in a season. To me, that's a very special milestone.

She's got me dizzy, she sees me through to the end
She's got me in her hands and there's no use in pretending
Christine sixteen, Christine sixteen
She drives me crazy, I want to give her all I've got
And she's hot every day and night, there is no doubt about it
Christine sixteen, Christine sixteen

coming out of the school that day, that day I knew, I knew, I've got to have

I am happy at Leeds and I want to stay. There has been talk that Leeds might sell some players, but all the players believe we can win some silverware next season and it is important that we are all kept together.

Youll Never Be 16 Again
Orbison/dees
Look out now, love has done you wrong
You can be weak, you can be strong
But if you go on you cant look back, dont look back
For youll never be sixteen again
It might be easy to stop and cry
And let the rest of the world roll by
But if you run for the golden sun, run now, run
For youll never be sixteen again
Oh no, youll never be sixteen again, youll never be sixteen again
No no no no, dont be lonely, therell always be new romance
Yeah yeah yeah yeah, love is only a win, lose or draw game of chance
And youll never be sixteen again
Remember the rainbow always follows the rain
True love may be just around the bend
So make time your friend, hearts take time to mend
And youll never be sixteen again, someday you wont regret, and youll forget
Ah, but youll never be sixteen again
Oh no, youll never be sixteen again, oh no, youll never be sixteen again

There are one-hundred fifty-four games in a season and you can find one-hundred fifty-four reasons why your team should have won every one of them.
Sixteen
Youve been a juvenile
With a dolphin smile
With no elbow room
Youve had in your little backyard
Portected by big walls
You didnt dare look over
cause youve been too small
Now youre finally sixteen
And youre feelin old
But they wont believe
That you got a soul
cause youre only sixteen
And youre feeling real
But you cant seem to cup a feel
Why do they have to force us
Through this metamorphose
Little butterfly
No matter how you try
Youll be segregated
Youre gonna be closed off
Youre callow and youre green
cause youre caught between
Youre only sixteen
Try to cross the line
But your little wings are interwined
Youre only sixteen
And youre such a tease
And theres nothing you can do
That can really please
These children
Theyre not really bad most of them
Theyre just products
Of rotten neighborhoods
And bad family situations
You know you cant forsake it
So sit back and take it
You see youre just not ripe
So dont try and fight that
Youre only sixteen
You wanna catch a peek
But they look at you
Like youre such a freak
Well youre only sixteen
With a lot to say
But they wont give you
The time of day
Youre only sixteen!
Youre only sixteen!!
Youre just sixteen!!!
You poor little thing

Sixty to Sixteen
If I were young as you, Sixteen,
And you were old as I,
I would not be as I have been,
You would not be so shy—
We should not watch with careless mien
The golden days go by,
If I were young as you, Sixteen,
And you were old as I.
The years of youth are yours, Sixteen;
Such years of old had I,
But time has set his seal between
Dark eyebrow and dark eye.
Sere grow the leaves that once were green,
The song turns to a sigh:
Ah! very young are you, Sixteen,
And very old am I.
Red bloom-times come and go, Sixteen,
With snow-soft feet, but I
Shall be no more as I have been
In times of bloom gone by;
For dimmer grows the pleasant scene
Beneath the pleasant sky;
The world is growing old, Sixteen—
The weary world and I.
Ah, would that once again, Sixteen,
A kissing mouth had I;
The days would gaily go, I ween,
Though death should stand anigh,
If springtime’s green were evergreen,
If Love would never die,
And I were young as you, Sixteen,
And you were old as I.

Your Golden Wedding Day
It was fifty years ago Mom
That you saw that special smile.
He was handsome, tall and debonair
He was definitely your style.
She was everything you wanted, Dad
Your search came to an end.
Your asked her if she’d be your wife
So your lives could soon began.
She needed time she said, to date
But found no man to compare
So you drifted close together
Into a love so strong, so rare.
The children came eventually
There were good times, and yes, some bad
And though your marriage vows were tested
You found a love you’d never had.
You laid a strong foundation
That many kids grow up without
And I’ll take this time to thank you
Our home had love, there was no doubt.
And now it seems impossible
That fifty years have past.
You were blessed with special qualities
For a marriage that would last.
As we gather here together
We all just want to say,
A special “Congratulations”
On your Golden Wedding Day.

Lindsay’s Graduation
We were so proud of Lindsay
On her graduation day
She turned a fresh new corner
So much she had to say
For she had passed a milestone
What special memories
So beautiful and so talented
With wonderful qualities
Whatever she chose to do
We knew she’d do it well
Her family looked happily on
Full of pride, we could tell
Of course there are always
Bumps rising in the trail
But with Lindsay’s determination
How could she possibly fail?
It’s so wonderful to watch
Young people at their peak
So willing and so ready
For it’s knowledge that they seek
So we look at Lindsay’s pictures
We knew that she’d go far
Whatever direction she took
She’d be our special star!

Happy birthday 007
So your Fifty years old now Mr Bond
your milestone gives us all a thrill
it's amazing you've lived this long
but then again you have a licence to kill.
To you The World is Not Enough
your attitude is Live and Let Die
but you've drank Martini's in the Casino Royale
and for the ladies you've had a GoldenEye.
You've tangled with lots of top villains
like Scaramanga who wasn't very nice
had a fight with the massive Jaws
and upset Blofeld in You Only Live Twice.
Death has escaped you by a mere second
and you knew you could Die Another Day
but like your Martini's your never stirred
and you've seduced beautiful women along the way.
So your still our top British spy 007
and On Her Majesty's Secret Service we say well done
so it's From Russia with love
and happy birthday to the Man with The Golden Gun!
James Bond celebrates fifty years in films this year
so I've incorporated some of his movie titles in this poem.

The players wanted more money, higher salary caps and they didn't have that family relationship we felt with the players. Mentally, the players were more businesslike.

I spend a lot of time copying saxophone players and trumpet players. Not to say that it is not important to listen to guitar players, but there's so much music out there and so many possibilities. I like anyone who plays any instrument.

A Season For Sharing
This becomes a season to give, to all with whom we daily live,
And to friends, near and far, to show them how loved they are,
A special time for us to share, our heart showing them we care,
A sharing of our gifts and love, is what this season is made of.
A season souls are behooved, this as many hearts are moved,
To display a different attitude, when moved by a festive mood,
From a special feeling in the air, moving hearts to fondly share,
As hearts and minds conceive, their desire to give and receive.
There’s indeed another side, one from which many people hide,
Which is the very initial reason, why we today have this season,
Observing throughout this earth, every year a very special birth,
The very birth of Christ, our Lord, which by many goes ignored.
This Season that many celebrate, stirs in some a sense of hate,
In hearts where there’s no place, for our Lord’s Love and Grace.
This isn’t true for those of us, who have, in Christ put their trust,
All Believers as the Saviors bride, share His Truth stored inside.
All Truth we’ve stored in our heart, we’re sent by Christ to impart,
The fuller sense, Truth and reason, for all this Christmas Season,
That child born as Jesus Christ, was born to give us Eternal Life,
And when that Truth you believe, New Life in Him you will receive.

The Giant and the Monster
Come to think about the time I was a young rant;
The universe: all seemed far away, big and wide,
That made me like a foot in the crowd on my side,
Holding the man's hand, my father was a giant.
Then an old man that I'd never met came for a visit;
Wore a wrinkled skin, as he trembled to hold his wicker;
At fifty-six then; I wished I would to die at fifty-six;
Once a toothless smile posed Grandpa was a monster.
My existence in to this world at the age of sixteen;
All seemed right; I'd never been wrong back then;
Than that little mind of mine who knew bit to scorn;
So as to the giant and to the monster, I grew a horn.
This one quote 'What comes around, it goes around'
Has come to haunt me as the giant or a monster bound;
In their likeness, I'm now the purest mirror of my sin,
And mystified no more than watching where I have been.
On the same road, long time ago, it gotten nearer;
I passed fifty-six and I wished to live much longer,
Than the monster, but God forbids, I wish to be sane;
Or equal to the giant, who went to sleep at eighty-seven.

Sweet Sixteen
Today I'm gonna ride away
And feel the sun throughout my hair
Finally free to be who I wanna be
Who that is I don't really care
'Cuz I've got friends who love me
Blue skies are above me
My blonde hair is everywhere
[CHORUS:]
Sweet sixteen
Gonna spread my wings
Sweet sixteen
It's my chance to shine
Sweet sixteen
Discovering
Sweet sixteen
So much more to life
Sweet sixteen
Drivin' down to the club where we go to dance
Radio is blastin' and the top is down
There ain't nothing' in my way
'Cept the traffic of L.A.
And I've got friends who love me
Bright stars shine above me
My blonde hair is everywhere
[CHORUS]
Mamma loves me and a sister who shows me, and a dad he's always there
[CHORUS]
I wanna know what it feels like
I need to see it from the inside
I can taste a bit of what I will find
So much more to life
Sweet sixteen
[Repeat]
[CHORUS]

Some of the money from the senior players goes to helping out the younger kids. It is from the players' pool, the fines for being late and so on. Some will go to something like the tsunami appeal and some to helping out young players.
