The progress of science is strewn, like an ancient desert trail, with the bleached skeleton of discarded theories which once seemed to possess eternal life.

The progress of the sciences toward theories of fundamental unity, cosmic symmetry (as in the unified field theory) — how do such theories differ, in the end, from that unity which Plato called “unspeakable” and “indiscribable,” the holistic knowledge shared by so many peoples of the earth, Christians included, before the advent of the industrial revolution made new barbarians of the peoples of the West? In the United States, before spiritualist foolishness at the end of the last century confused mysticism with “the occult” and tarnished both, William James wrote a master work of metaphysics; Emerson spoke of “the wise silence, the universal beauty, to which every part and particle is equally related, the eternal One . . .”; Melville referred to “that profound silence, that only voice of God”; Walt Whitman celebrated the most ancient secret, that no God could be found “more divine than yourself.” And then, almost everywhere, a clear and subtle illumination that lent magnificence to life and peace to death was overwhelmed in the hard glare of technology. Yet that light is always present, like the stars of noon. Man must perceive it if he is to transcend his fear of meaningless, for no amount of “progress” can take its place.

Lost legion for Friend Thad
The earth beneath the desert sun is baked to shades of brown and dun.
A sea of sand which ceaselessly moves with wind uneasily.
The land marks here are far and few but known by those belonging to the nomad bands who freely roam this sea of sand and call it home.
A people fierce and proud and free who guard their secrets ruthlessly.
Intruders are not welcome here; invaders simply disappear.
Their fate is very seldom known, the desert can protect its own
Whole Roman legions were erased their resting place cannot be traced.
The desert knows but will not speak some bones are found by those who seek
to solve the ancient mysteries. Perhaps rewrite the histories.
To validate their theories of how an army disappears.
without a clues as to their fate. A subject open to debate.
The desert sands move constantly, sometimes revealing teasingly
bleached bones and weapons on the sand which scholars strive to understand.
Does it matter anyway? Why do we seek to know today
what happened to the lost legion. Although the legend lingers on.
The desert will not satisfy our burning curiosity
The desert knows but will not share the scholars find this hard to bear.
The desert lands conceal with ease volumes of untold histories.
Which earnest scholars yearn to read, perhaps one day they will succeed.
But until then the burning sun will bake the earth to brown and dun
Maintaining its long secrecy in brooding silent dignity.

Ice-cold Refusal
Act of God Graham Phillips - a very academic
account, the first 200 pages are bone dry but
I forged on, set on reaching wonderful theories
about cataclysm & history, nearly did not make
it, getting buried under a dearth of facts, names,
funerary rites, conventional Egyptology
Ice-cold refusal to consider Graham Hancock
theories about pyramid age determined by
precipitation marks - all irrelevant, I'm only
guided by a need for the enthusiasm of the
inspired researcher but the first 200 pages
fail to touch the reader
After suffocating in a desert of words, names,
facts and conjectures, the author promises to
prove that the Egyptian events were the effect
of ancient cataclysms, I hope to reach this part
of the academic dissertation before losing my
mind in boring reams of facts
It's clear why maverick Zechariah Sitchin
is so much more interesting to read, especially
when one has no use for the ancient lore
in designing a dreamy life...

I am more fond of achieving than striving. My theories must prove to be facts or be discarded as worthless. My efforts must soon be crowned with success, or discontinued.

Poor Skeleton Steps Out
Poor skeleton steps out,
Dressed up in bad blood,
Bad brains, bad thoughts, and others deeds.
Poor skeleton no doubt,
One of these days,
You can cast aside your human, be free.
When the cities run with blood,
And you drink our health in mud,
All flesh be gone.
Save your dry and joyous shout,
For the day poor skeleton steps out.
Poor skeleton steps out,
Sprung from his life sentence,
Deep inside some muscle mask.
Poor skeleton devout,
Propping up truck drivers,
Filmstars, thieves or queens, your brave task.
When technology is rust,
And you write your book in dust,
All flesh be gone.
Cant buy tickets from a tout,
For the day poor skeleton steps out.
Poor skeleton steps out,
Liberated from sex organs,
And brown, black, white skin.
Poor skeleton you lout,
Dont you think that we might,
Like to have been asked to join in?
For good skeletons are we,
And were dying to be free,
All flesh be gone.
I will scream or sulk and pout,
Until my poor skeleton steps out.
Better watch out, here comes bony boy.

Your Theories Are My Spoiling Salt
In the vast ocean of life you laugh
at me completely forgetting the
cycle of a wave at my low ebb
you frown and put forth theories
after theories explaining the causes
of my down fall, they are spoiling
salt on my pleasure memories which
I had once because of that of my high
position but forget not under my barren
dry desert there is sufficient sap to succumb
your wrath and abundance sand to jam and blind
your victory tank: this is just a null in my life
before the storm to make an upheaval strong
enough to hold you down to make it sound
to propagate in high and low wave: this time
the sun too has promised me that he will rise
in my kingdom so I see your one button system
will not sustain for long

The Skeleton Dance
The moon is on the graveyard,
The night is cool and still,
The wind blows gently,
Yes it blows where it will,
And the slightest sound,
From a place that's unknown,
Come do the skeleton dance,
And rattle my bones.
Do the skeleton dance
Jingle jangle bones,
Do the skeleton dance
All the way back home,
Do the skeleton dance
When you're all alone,
Do the skeleton dance
When you're done with your bones.
See the eyes of a werewolf,
Staring back at you,
A dozen or two skeletons,
Make up the rest of the crew,
The zombies stumble around,
Looking for their brains,
Ghost float like a mist,
And its about to rain.
Do the skeleton dance
Jingle jangle bones,
Do the skeleton dance
All the way back home,
Do the skeleton dance
When you're all alone,
Do the skeleton dance
When you're done with your bones.
The devil takes off his skin,
And plays the xylophone,
God plays the piano,
On a stool made of bone,
Jesus lights a lantern,
Buddha counts to three,
They all form a circle,
To do the skeleton dance with me.

Without The Touch Of Science
WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE
Science is full of inventions
and it has numerous tools of destruction
It ought to be friendly to the common man
Lest no use of having those super brains
Why should we send man to the outer-space?
looking for life on a distant planet's face
to give them drugs, religion, bombs and vices
corrupting them at par with our worldly masses
we are deceived, not helped by Science, in the larger sense;
commercializing its use, fruits for private gains
Had I was born in some ancient times
I would have been a different soul,
...............WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE.

The Nomad
Like a mirage riding on the desert sand
Like a vision floating with the desert winds
Know the secret of the ancient desert lands
you're the keeper of the mystery in your hands
Nomad rider of the ancient east
Nomad rider that men know the least
Nomad where you come from no one knows
Nomad where you go to no one tells
Undercover of the veil of your disguise
The men that fear you are the ones that you despise
No one's certain what your future will behold
You're a legend your own history will be told
Nomad rider of the ancient east
Nomad rider that men know the least
Nomad where you come from no one knows
Nomad where you go to no one tells
No one dares to even look or glance your way
Your reputation goes before you they all say
Like a spirit that can disappear at will
Many claim of things but no one's seen you kill

Past is strewn around
Like polythene sachets-
Discarded, dirty and indestructible!
Try to burn-

Pollute the peace of mind!

Sonnet: The Poet and Science
Is Science, a poet’s foe in poetry?
Why blame the world of science for its progress?
Out-moded’s the poet’s Nature-study;
Literature must wear a scientific dress.
Gone are the days of blind beliefs/ legends;
Man has landed on the moon many times;
No more the moon has myths it portends;
Let science therefore be thy decor in rhymes.
Decoded has man, the human genome;
Many diseases have a cure today;
’Tis unwise still to write the myths of Rome!
Poets incorporate what science shall say.
Science is no impediment to the art!
Let modern poets make a newer start.

Golden--of the selkirks
A trail upwinds from Golden;
It leads to a land God only knows,
To the land of eternal frozen snows,
That trail unknown and olden.
And they tell a tale that is strange and wild--
Of a lovely and lonely mountain child
That went up the trail from Golden.
A child in the sweet of her womanhood,
Beautiful, tender, grave and good
As the saints in time long olden.
And the days count not, nor the weeks avail;
For the child that went up the mountain trail
Came never again to Golden.
And the watchers wept in the midnight gloom,
Where the canyons yawn and the Selkirks loom,
For the love that they knew of olden.
And April dawned, with its suns aflame,
And the eagles wheeled and the vultures came
And poised o'er the town of Golden.
God of the white eternal peaks,
Guard the dead while the vulture seeks!--
God of the days so olden.
For only God in His greatness knows
Where the mountain holly above her grows,
On the trail that leads from Golden.

Death Waits on the Shores of Tripoli
He scans the desert night
for apocalyptic stars
and shrieks with delight
when hurtling spears
pierce pounding hearts.
Desert sands
lust for blood;
life declines
to ancient dust.

The thing that got me started on the science that I've been building now for about 20 years or so was the question of okay, if mathematical equations can't make progress in understanding complex phenomena in the natural world, how might we make progress?

Dimension To Freedom
See the raven fly with wings of freedom
The eagle stands so proud in silence
It's the soul and destiny
See the people heading for tomorrow
They are standing close together
On their way to eternity
Soon they come across a new dimension
And they will descend from darkness
I can hear them scream and suffering
Right now
Here they stand on the trail that gives eternal life
They have walked with sorrow in their souls
Side by side damned into eternal dark
Forever enslaved by twisted hearts
Now we're running back to face the demon
Let's put an end into this prophecy
We will fly into infinity
Look there is a gate that cross dimensions
Can feel the blood is pumping through my veins
And I can't wait to meet the demon
Soon they come across a new dimension
And they will descend from darkness
I can hear it scream and suffering
In pain
Here they stand on the trail that gives eternal life
They have walked with sorrow in our souls
Side by side damned into eternal dark
Forever enslaved by twisted hearts

And the continuity of our science has not been affected by all these turbulent happenings, as the older theories have always been included as limiting cases in the new ones.
Silent Sound
What is the sound of silence?
-the Colorado Plateau-
-desert alive-
Quietly hear
The color red
Land
The Anasazi southern sun
Native blood
Peace
That surpasses all understanding
Beauty in
Rocks (slick and hushed)
Birds (serene and high)
Plants (sustaining and swaying, quietly)
Sky and clouds (inaudible and covering all)
- Life then, now, always
Soft sweet reassurance
Wind whispers of
Endless, eternal echoes,
Ancient singing.
Silent sound is
Sight
Smell
Sensations- all
Simple and sublime...
The sound of sweet silence is
The removal of distractions,
Is the peacable
SouthWest desert.

Sonnet: Let Science Help Discover God
It is an age of scientific progress,
A double edge weapon in human hands;
If well harnessed, man’s wants it can redress,
And meet the new century’s new demands.
Improve, it can the quality of life;
But if misused, brings extreme misery;
It can most men deliver from most strife,
And help to uncover God’s mystery.
Science makes less things that it can well destroy;
Man well ignores the existence of God;
In many hands, Science is a tool and toy,
And gives glory to man, tho’ made from clod.
