It made me think about a whole area of human activity that was not really a concern to me before that, because I was involved in reading Chinese history, or languages, or whatever.

Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. In area after area - crime, education, housing, race relations - the situation has gotten worse after the bright new theories were put into operation. The amazing thing is that this history of failure and disaster has neither discouraged the social engineers nor discredited them.

The Men And The Women Of The World
When Brahma created human out of lotus,
When the Father created human out of soil,
When the Gods given birth human and mountains,
WE, the human, were let alone naked.
Unpredictable weather,
torturous terrain,
fiercely flowing water,
monstrous animals and birds.
First sign languages,
then spoken languages,
after that written languages,
and now we have thousands of languages.
Who taught us all these?
Have the religions known these?
Hindu's world ended at Himalayas,
Jew's world ended at the rivers.
The love of the fathers,
The love of the mothers,
The love of the siblings.
The love of the relatives,
The love of the community,
The love to have life on earth,
have made it possible and
we will make it to continue.
Happy valentine's day
to each and every one of you.

The business, task or object of the scientific study of languages will if possible be 1) to trace the history of all known languages. Naturally this is possible only to a very limited extent and for very few languages.

Life and human society are the chief concern of Confucianism and, through it, the chief concern of the Chinese people.
I Am Accused Of Tending To The Past
i am accused of tending to the past
as if i made it,
as if i sculpted it
with my own hands. i did not.
this past was waiting for me
when i came,
a monstrous unnamed baby,
and i with my mother's itch
took it to breast
and named it
History.
she is more human now,
learning languages everyday,
remembering faces, names and dates.
when she is strong enough to travel
on her own, beware, she will.

Strange Mental Wavelengths
Page 286 of my book, highlighting in orange
and pink, writing down references to check
against research notes made long ago, now
tired of sitting still for so long - just reading -
Fixing the kitchen the only opportunity for
physical activity, could clean the floors but
this holds no interest, reading the history of
anthropology, palaeontology and geology
Especially astrology, moving from Hamlet's
Mill to Maurice Cotterel, I'm stuck on strange
mental wavelengths, disappointed that pre-
conceptions make people refuse to accept
New discoveries - history of man's scientific
development a story of selfish aggrandizement
and betrayal - yet the sweet allure of ideals
and dreams remains untouched within me
I keep my inner world safe from decadence
and cynicism by revisiting high visions, in-
doctrinating myself to follow the principles
in which we can only believe as long as
We keep repeating them to counter the
evidence of those who refuse to bring
about changes in the reality inherited
from previous creators

Peace (acrostic)
Palpitations in every human heart
Encourages a human surge to take part.
Activities spawned by love, concern, and patient desire
Contribute to an eternal inner-burning fire
Enlightening hope with which we should all aspire.

I visited the Chinese side last year. The Chinese are in a constant state of military readiness. They have all their nuclear weapons in the area, presumably trained on targets across the border.

In My Area
I am in my area
There is nothing to dispute.
I am in my area
I can do whatever I like
Openly and in mute.
I am in my area
It is open and simple
I am in my area
I am in peace and stable.
Please do not grumble.

The history of Christianity, therefore, must be of concern to all who are interested in the record of man and particularly to all who seek to understand the contemporary human scene.

A day of reading is a day of gain; a day without reading is ten days of loss.
Unlock The Desk
Unlock your desk and retrieve your fitness,
Trust the acid of the heart, trust the reading;
An industrial activity has been in condition,
In bewilderment, always your own admission.
Enter these conference rooms in vain
And you find a solution to man’s worries.
To hurl this drink in another’s face
Hurts his face, for you have read the face.
Pleasant reading is the reading of the boss,
The boss is learning, knowing so wisely you.

I start by using Chinese and many of the sounds of other languages are similar.
Life has obliged him to remember so much useful knowledge that he has lost not only his history, but his whole original cargo of useless knowledge; history, languages, literatures, the higher mathematics, or what you will - are all gone.

And that does concern me, because we're not getting enough back for our taxes that we're paying. I think we really have to look at the whole sort of area.
And the people who live in the southern part of my state do not have a secure environment. To wit, there are signs that the government put up that say, 'Warning. You are in a drug smuggling area and a human smuggling area.'

It is not history which uses men as a means of achieving - as if it were an individual person - its own ends. History is nothing but the activity of men in pursuit of their ends.
Plants, Insects And Animals
Plants, insects and animals
Are many times more intelligent
Than most of the people think!
Most of the times
Plants, insects and animals
Say things they want to say to others
In their own minds in human languages!
From a close distance they can hear
What others say in their minds!
From a close distance they can hear
What humans say with their mouth as well!
They learn the human languages
From human race and other plants, insects and animals!
God communicates with them -
They remember God and prostrate in imagination!

No student of Chinese history can say that the Chinese are incapable of religious experience, even when judged by the standards of medieval Europe or pious India.
