Most centrist Democrats... try to distance themselves from controversies that recall the 1960s. There are journalistic centrists as well, who avoid hard truths for the sake of acceptance and legitimacy.

And what do Democrats stand for, if they are so ready to defame concerned citizens as the ""mob"" - a word betraying a Marie Antoinette delusion of superiority to ordinary mortals. I thought my party was populist, attentive to the needs and wishes of those outside the power structure. And as a product of the 1960s, I thought the Democratic party was passionately committed to freedom of thought and speech.

The issue of terrorism must be dealt with firmly. We must work very hard to avoid loss of life. We must work very hard to avoid civilian casualties. And those terrorists and Baathists are holding the people of Fallujah hostage. We must release the hostages.

Peer Pressure, Identity, and Acceptance
Just not fitting in
Where's those people?
Is there anyone like me?
Am I supposed to be like them?
Just not fitting in
I want acceptance they don't want me
They want me to compromise
This isn't who I am
Who am I anyways?
It's only temporary.... right?
I can't lose myself cause I'm....well I'm me
I need acceptance they're like a distant dream
They're staring right through me
They're speaking to me out of sympathy
They see through my act
They see.... no they couldn't
Who are they anyways?
I guess I'll call them..... well, they're friends
They're all I got
I crave acceptance
The pangs of loneliness
No it's not that
Not quite
As much as I crave acceptance
I think deep down
I don't want to have to change
I think deep down
If I could speculate about myself
Deep down I want to be me
But who.... who am I? I can't remember or maybe....
Maybe there's nothing to remember
Just fitting in
Has changed me
Where can I get real acceptance
Would anyone just care about me even knowing that I was me?
I can't even love me, I don't want to feed me, I don't want to help me
Why would they?
Is there anyone who'd just want me, even if they knew it was me?
Acceptance
It's not just a commodity, it's a necessity
So I found acceptance
It took my life but I'd gladly give it up again
It's better that I no longer live
Well in the my old definition of life
This.... this is life
It's acceptance
I found acceptance with the one I deserved it from the least
Someone I never did anything for
One of my greatest enemies
That's why this acceptance
This forgiveness
This love
Changed me
From the inside
Out
I think I found part of me, I must show my friends
Or that's what I thought
Because the cruel reality of the world is that it
Denies us that one thing that we need to survive that one thing we crave
Acceptance
When I told them He loved me
I lost what little friends I did have
But I have more than I've had
Because I have
Acceptance

Cultivation Of Whites Are Shouting Silently
echoed truths diving into the imagination of black holed crutches
you are actually a palm of future
vegetarian wishes on the face of darkened gongs
office full of wired relationship immature
play, play, play with gayed truths
nobody knows the truths of broken reality
outsiders holing the wheels of fortune
distance calls from the minesis oddesey
abyssed shrilled and fawled crushes on the cutting edge loyality to divinity
still cultivating the whites of silenced future

I'm definitely a centrist and feel like both parties can be absurd.

Democrats never agree on anything, that's why they're Democrats. If they agreed with each other, they would be Republicans.

Facing facets of timely reminders.
I wound my way through the maze of me
unaware of the unseen company
Walking in parallels, they turned as did I
Appeared and then vanished in the blink of a why.
The man and the boy and the being without
as one, on a quest, on a question of doubt
Never finding the truths, for the truths are well masked
Insufficient heed paid, to the questions we asked.
Still I knew they were there
Still I knew they were me
Still I knew if we met
We would never agree.
For, for all they have learned
stored behind the brick wall
of the mind’s ebbing tide,
there’s more
we can't recall.

A Poem of Rhymes
I must take care about the food I take;
I must avoid the smoke whenev’r I bake;
I must avoid dust rising when I rake!
I must be cautious of the wealth I make;
I better count the calories in cake;
I better note the genuine from the fake;
A river-water tastes better than lake;
Make sacrifices I must, for God’s sake
And pray to keep my soul with grace, awake!

Beautiful Lies
Beautiful lies
Take us on the wings of might
Towards the skies infinite
And then dropp us on the heaps of truths-
Brutal truths buried.
Beautiful lies
Get painted on a marvelleous canvas of light
Against the background in twillight
And then shed the shadows of truths-
Barren truths ferried.
Beautiful lies
Send the beams of delight
In the dark chambers made of granite
And then surmount me with truths-
Nightmarish truths married.
Still in the thick coats of beautiful lies
I veil my frame when the Sun is on
And in the cradle of their rhymes
I find my sleep when the Fun is gone.
