I believe that a long step toward public morality will have been taken when sins are called by their right names.

Thats how the world begins
Watch out when you step in
For seven deadly sins

You Are Not Alone
you are not alone: for he is by your side
you are not alone: no matter how hard you try.
and for what it's worth,
He has been with you since your date of birth.
and HE was there when you was baptized with water
and taught you the LORDS order
some have called him JESUS
some have called him CHRIST
but no matter what you called him
you are not alone.
for he watches from his throne.
in his heart you have always been
since the day, that he wiped away your sins.
as long as you show your fellow man that you care
he will always be there.
as long as you believe in GOD up above
he will always give you his love.
and when you walk the road that's shown
you will never walk alone.
you are not alone
when life dishes you a wrong hand
that is all part of his plan.
to see if you have the faith in him
to take away your aches and pains
for with him you will never be the same.
as long as you have him in your heart and mind
he'll be there throughout all time.
He is there every step of every day
to show you the righteous way.
so do not stop, do not falter
for he is there at the altar.
give him thanks, and give him praise
that you're here another day.
'FOR YOU ARE NOT ALONE'.

Are you offended by the word 'offensive'? If so..
‘Cell-phone and sell’ is the new money-maker;
‘taking offence’ vicariously is the new morality…
switch on your mobile if you’re near
any ‘celebrity’ – best of all, backstage
or nervous from the make-up room;
you may catch some phrase that’s not meant
for your ears; or a private word that causes offence
between two people, but privately;
then put it up on YouTube; sell it to the Sundays;
the world can share it; and shiver with righteous delight
in ‘taking offence’; maybe a reporter will catch you
in the street so you can add your shock-horror quota
to the public outrage at a private word..
oh for the days when the gusty breeze of humour
blew these words away; who remembers now,
when the nation revelled in ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ on the telly
and ‘nig-nog’ and ‘whitey’ were thrown about;
(When will they dare to broadcast a repeat?)
or even the days when ‘Paki-bashing’ drew attention
to our vicious prejudices; and we could feel genuine shame;
or the time when ‘niggardly’ was practically banned
because it sounded like an insult?
If we go on like this, being called a ‘Northerner’
will imply some insult; as would ‘Southerner’…
As the cannibal chief said when he popped
a tasty missionary into the curried (oops, sorry..) stew:
‘It’s all a matter of social context, Rev…it’s
nothing personal…’
And whatever you’re called when you’re grown-up –
remember: it never hurts like those playground names...
or worse, nick-names that stuck for years…
from those of your own age, who
yesterday or tomorrow, might again be chums..?
Somewhere in Australia at this very moment
someone called Murdoch is calling someone just like me or you
a ‘whinging Pom’…remind me to take offence, would you?
Then I’ll sound off to the Sun…

Morality Make Beauty
Would the things you do
Make you beautiful
Probably
Surely we have two sides in everything
The two sides of beauty
You and you
Inside and outside
Ever and never
Inexhaustible and exhaustible
Let just start right here
Cosmetics made me looked beautiful
But I wander
How long would this last
When it is never hidden from the
Solemn standing sun
The sun shall shine
And tomorrow the sun shall dry this beauty away
Some call it old age
Why won't this beauty last?
Some also say old age annihilates beauty
Hey!
How long would you remain a secret to the majority?
You contemptuously say to cosmetic
Beauty maker
Is that what they call you?
Oh mercy you despicable
Morality makes you beautiful you
Morality makes you beautiful inside
Morality makes you beautiful for ever
Morality makes you your world beautiful
Your inside matters
The sun don't dry it up c
It hidden from the solemn standing sun
Morality overcomes the sun's annihilation
Let morality make you up
Behold drifting away shall your beauty not be
Forever shall it bloom as the sun shines

Man Gave Names To All The Animals
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago.
He saw an animal that liked to growl,
Big furry paws and he liked to howl,
Great big furry back and furry hair.
Ah, think Ill call it a bear.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago.
He saw an animal up on a hill
Chewing up so much grass until she was filled.
He saw milk comin out but he didnt know how.
Ah, think Ill call it a cow.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago.
He saw an animal that liked to snort,
Horns on his head and they werent too short.
It looked like there wasnt nothin that he couldnt pull.
Ah, think Ill call it a bull.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago.
He saw an animal leavin a muddy trail,
Real dirty face and a curly tail.
He wasnt too small and he wasnt too big.
Ah, think Ill call it a pig.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago.
Next animal that he did meet
Had wool on his back and hooves on his feet,
Eating grass on a mountainside so steep.
Ah, think Ill call it a sheep.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago.
He saw an animal as smooth as glass
Slithering his way through the grass.
Saw him disappear by a tree near a lake . . .

Hard Core Heart
Hard rock and drugs
Running thru my veins
Mother fucking bitchy whore
Been called by many names
Moshing thru the nights
Sleeping thru the day
Drinking in the bathrooms
Pretending I’m ok
Breathing in the smoke
Laughing at the pain
Giving up all hope
Taking all the blame
Hard rock and drugs
Running thru my veins
Mother fucking bitchy whore
Been called by many names
Hidden by my smiles
A part of me resides
Getting smaller by the day
The rest of my heart dies
Hard rock and drugs
Running thru my veins
Mother fucking bitchy whore
Been called by many names
Smoking pot in my room
Know I won’t get caught
Mom and dad are drunk again
Forgetting what the taught
Hard rock and drugs
Running thru my veins
Mother fucking bitchy whore
Been called by many names

Garden Partay!
Garden Partay! ! !
Edward Iacona
I know that names of products
May often be ostentatious.
But, I never thought that packs of seeds
Could also be so salacious.
Varieties mentioned here are real.
And, this is what I think;
Many gardeners and farmers
Must enjoy an earthy wink....
To make my point I'll put these names
In quotes or maybe in italic.
And lay aside the obvious view that
Some veggies look quite phallic.
There is no doubt that corn
Is known to be nutritious
But what can one say about a corn
That is named 'Bi-Licious'.
A common trait I'd like to share
From Puberty to my coffin,
Is a link to a certain corn that's
Called 'Early and Often'.
No homophobia amongst the stalks,
Or none that I have seen,
When one considers there are types
Called 'Ruby' and 'Silver Queen'.
There is an egotistical cucumber
Whose statistics really rate.
I shall envy it's bragging rights
As to being a 'Straight Eight'
Virile thoughts of cucumbers
May easily coincide.
When human males at morning
May deal with some 'Early Pride'
There is a carrot called 'Big Top'
But, a cliche I must repeat...
That size is not a factor so
There's another called 'Short and Sweet'
Male prowess proclaims that men
Should try to please and perhaps outlast her.
So their cucumber of choice should be
The one that's called 'Bushmaster'.
When Popeye eats his spinach his
Rescues of Olive Oyl are less demanding'
But, if he really wants to impress her
There is a type called 'Long Standing'
Ah! the popular pumpkin
Famed for Halloween and pie
But the name 'Jack O' Lantern'
May be more than meets the eye.
The apostrophe after the O
Stands for 'of' I know that's true
But, considering the seed names I've seen
Do they mean one 'F' or two?

Names
That bird is called a dove.
It neither knows nor needs to.
That season is called spring.
That planet is called venus.
They neither know nor need to.
They manage better in fact
Without us or any names.
They do not call us anything,
Aware the name of each thing
Is its inward reality and that
Which we are in the end
Is our real name with God.

There are, in the King case in particular, e names of confidential informants, persons to whom we promised confidentiality in return for their testimony. We have put their testimony in the public domain, but feel that their names should continue to be anonymous.

Is It Too Late?
what constitutes deliverance?
how do we define, and draw the line,
between the sickness, and the cure?
between written morality, and ingrained morality?
between doubt of god, and the presence of god?
between hope, and despair?
do we accept what we see as real?
or must we touch, and taste, and feel?
is not the part of our heart that we hide,
the part that needs to be revealed?
whose hand is on the wheel?
who named the stars, and discovered fire?
must we not lose what we're most afraid
to lose in order to find what we most need?
do we spend all of our lives
trying to regain what we lost as children?
why are we afraid of darkness,
being children of the womb?
and why do we find that which is most sacred,
held by the hands of our darkest sins?
we fear death, we worship death... which?
is it the prize of a life well lived?
the cost of our guilt?
or are we just afraid of letting go,
of something beyond our control?
we run madly through life possessing and owning,
or being possessed and owned.
we try to make a name...
yet life is far more than names!
we cower before our own nakedness...
afraid of our own wings!
yet trees and rivers and mountains,
already converse with the sky!
who are we? is it too late?
or can we redeem the time?
can we hear the song of the mockingbird?
the chanting prayers of the ants?

No Step
I looked out of my window, saw a stencil black,
No step. no step.
There were nervous mothers with children crying in the back.
No step. no step.
Someone bought me my ticket, now Im on the wing.
Hope my angels are watching me, do I hear them sing?
No step. no step.
Those afterburners cut in and kicked us high.
No step. no step.
The thin air shimmered, the sun cut through and burned my eye.
No step. no step.
Someone bought me my ticket, now Im on the wing.
Hope my angels are watching me, do I hear them sing?
No step.
No step no step.
No step no step.
No step no step.
Give me a jet stream schooner or a crew-legged goose.
No step. no step.
Im a clear-air jockey when they turn me loose
No step. no step.
Someone bought me my ticket to the captains seat.
Will the shakes soon leave me, will I find my feet?
No step. no step.
No step. no step.
No step.

Monkeys and Talent
Some people say that man comes from monkeys but the Good Book tells it different and brother if you believe what some people say. I'd rather be that monkey then you any old days. Speaking of talents which I wasn't. Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.
Names I've been called stupid. I been called dumb. I've been called lots of things and then some, but I'm smart enough to know I'm just as good as you and so, I say to you who call me names. I hold no of rudge or place no blame. Being stupid is some times smart and playing dumb is just a part of life, and one of the smartest people I know is ME.

Practice Every Step
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no sleeping for someone who has a place to go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Focus on that goal,
And tighten on your hold,
And...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Every journey taken,
Must be thought of as a race...
And,
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no other way to straighten out a crooked road,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
No matter what you're told,
There will be some doubts and woes...
But you,
Practice every step.
Yes you,
Practice every step.
Woes you hold will eventually go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.

Lied And Cheated
As she had lied and also cheated
With sins before she had repeated
So after all of her sins and lusting
I find her both sinful and disgusting
Goodness in her finally was defeated.
She walks the trail she walked before
Not only as a woman but as a whore
To ridicule and label herself once again
In front of all, even GOD and men
Never will she be loved or ever adored.
She tell her lies and speaks them well
She craves not heaven but only hell
With not passion or virtue or morality
And with only the presence of venality
Her soul and conscience was an easy sale.
She hides the truth so others will not see
Of her life and truth and what she believes
But someday the truth upon her will fall
She had once walked but now she will crawl
And then they too will see that disease.
Soon she will be humbled and not conceited
As on that day she will be judged and greeted
She will seek forgiveness from one and another
But the cries of her sins she wont be able to smother
And it all began, when she first had lied and cheated.
