But constant experience shows us that every man invested with power is apt to abuse it, and to carry his authority as far as it will go.

There Is Nothing Wrong With Power

'Tis sad to think that many with power abuse it those with power who abuse it weak not strong
There is nothing wrong with having power in the first place it is the abuse of it that is all wrong
For the abuse of power leads to serious crimes against the powerless though power in good hands it is quite okay
And good people with power never do abuse it they use it in the most constructive way
Some people with power are quite benign people and philanthropic one of them can say
But those who abuse their power to the law may never answer though to karma there's a price they have to pay
The abuse of power leads to dictatorial regimes that leads to serious crimes against humanity
In the despicable crimes against women and children the wrongs of power gone wrong for all to see
The people who abuse their power should never have it though to their power they desperately do cling
Power in the right hands an adavantage to others and power in the wrong hands is a dangerous thing
There is nothing wrong with power from once 'tis used well but some with power they do abuse their rule
And some with power they can become quite nasty and derive pleasure out of being cruel
But power in the right hands can be a blessing and kind people with power their praise we ought sing
Since they have the gift of empathy within them and happiness to others they do bring.

Pointy Toes

Pointy toes,
Elegance shows.
A dancer's feet,
Worn and Weary,
A ballerina's feat,
Makes it look easy.
We abuse our feet,
Scrapped till it bites,
We abuse our feet,
Tie knots too tight,
We abuse our feet,
Stand till sore,
We abuse our feet,
Curl like claw.
High heels, tall.
We abuse our feet,
Bound feet small.
Abuse our feet most than rest of body?
Take care, your feet, Everybody.

Authority Song

They like to get you in a compromising position
They like to get you there and smille in your face
They think, theyre so cute when they got you in that condition
Well I think, its a total disgrace
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
So I call up my preacher
I say: gimme strenght for round 5
He said: you dont need no strength, you need to grow up, son
I said: growing up leads to growing old and then to dying,
And dying to me dont sound like all that much fun
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
Oh no
Oh no
I fight authority, authority always wins
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins

Like The Weeds Of The Garden

Like the weeds of the garden that stifle every flower
That is what they are those who abuse their power
In their dealings with others they need to be in control
That's what happens when darkness blocks light from the soul,
Much does seem to need more or so it is said
Suppose this is what happens when power goes to one's head,
Of crimes against humanity we often hear of and read
'Tis from abuse of power that to such crimes does lead
Many abuse their power through the medium of fear
Of such people we often do read of and hear
Those who use their power in a positive way are worth talking about
But those who trash talk and demean people the Human World can do without
Since they do not believe on a fair go for all
Such people in their ways are so very small.

To Have Power Over Others

To have power over others is something one does not need
For tis only by good example that one can ever lead
And many with power over others their power they do abuse
And for those who abuse others there cannot be an excuse.

If you wish to be a leader some sort of form of power you crave
And what it takes to be a great leader is to be understanding kind and brave
But leaders with such qualities to say the least seem rare
To some very ordinary people they do favourably compare.

For to have power over others a good person does not desire
And many power hungry people are those we should not admire
Power over others and personal power are different from night and day
We all do need some personal power for to serve survival's way.

To have power over others is something one can do without
And on those who desire such powers one has to cast some doubt
They seem to be control freaks with darkness of the soul
The lives of other people they do need to control.

This Thing Known As Power

This thing known as power is an addictive thing
And those who do have it to it try to cling
Abuse of power we do read of and hear of every day
Not all who have power use it in a good way
Dictators use the power that they have to suppress
And where Dictators rule you won't find happiness
They cling to their power by the medium of fear
Only of crimes against Humanity of their oppressive regimes we do hear
Power used in a good way happiness does create
And those who use their power for the good we ought to celebrate
Benevolent people with great power are becoming more rare
But blessed are those who for others do care
That philanthropic people are not many does seem sad to say
And of abuse of power we do read of and hear of every day.

We'll have a public power authority, which will also have the ability to build power or finance power. And more importantly, we'll have more power than our economy provides. All of that will give us leverage we don't have today.

Authoritative Power

The Mighty God and Creator, is Jesus Christ, our Blessed Savior,
Who alone has complete Authority, from the beginning to eternity,
Who became a man but still God, becoming flesh to visit our sod,
The very Creator of all you see, came to be Savior of you and me.

For only Christ my dear friend, knows the beginning from the end,
The Alpha and The Omega is He, Who controls all things eternally,
The One Who sustains all the earth, sustains us through New Birth,
The One holding all things together, grants us life with Him forever.

Of God, Christ was the Incarnation, sent for each and every nation,
Sent into the very world He created, to be scoffed at while berated,
Crucified by peoples He knew, to provide salvation to me and you,
As one dead, taken from Calvary, put in a tomb to rise in Authority.

Authority He had before time began, before creating earth and man,
God’s Authority exceeding anyone, Power He displayed in His Son,
The power that put Heaven in place, was at Calvary, know as Grace,
Because God has the authority to, redeem sinners, like me and you.

The Mighty Creator’s returning again, to display Authority to all men,
At Christ’s return, long awaited, by believers on the earth He created,
During His reign as He rules, reigning with His own but judging fools,
As those souls that believed not God, will see His Authoritative Rod.

Living And Reliving An Experience....

it is nothing but experience
it shows, it is felt, and then
you draw it back again nearer
your face, take a closer look,
analyze, and feel and
reflect, many times, digest,
expand, do not decorate,
take it as it is,
freeze it, ...stay still,
be a sculpture, or a ladder,
a pillar, or even be a bowl
of water,
do not titillate
visualize, taper, sharpen,
no rattling please, just
the closer look at the closing of
the day....

it dances before you,
shows its best, becomes a tree with
so many ripe fruits for your
picking

really, this is what experience is all
about.

Simone Weil

The human soul has need of consented obedience and of liberty. Consented obedience is what one concedes to an authority because one judges it to be legitimate. It is not possible in relation to a political power established by conquest or coup d'etat nor to an economic power based upon money. Liberty is the power of choice within the latitude left between the direct constraint of natural forces and the authority accepted as legitimate. The latitude should be sufficiently wide for liberty to be more than a fiction, but it should include only what is innocent and should never be wide enough to permit certain kinds of crime.

Apathy rages unchecked

The time has come for real debate about the power of the state.
to interfere with liberties we have enjoyed for centuries.
Encouraged by our apathy the state moves forward stealthily
towards its long desired goal exerting power and control.
Reducing our right to choose intolerant of other views
The state knows best their constant theme as secretly they plot and scheme

To alter the existing laws and thus gain power to enforce
Further curbs on liberty, stealing power insidiously.
The time has come to call a halt, root out the guilty men at fault.
Strip them of all authority which they obtained dishonestly.
Remind them that the people rule. The government is just a tool
which we employ to do a task, or is that far too much to ask.

I am free born a citizen, a man just like all other men
I do not need a nanny state which has the power to dictate.
to tell me what to eat and drink and try to tell me what to think.
It’s time the people aired their views and stated firmly they refuse
to allow any government to act without their full consent.
Is this a democracy? to me it doesn’t seem to be.
Although you may reject my views while you have the power to choose.

The science of life

The glory of a king
Is his power and authority
The shame of the poor
Is his poverty

The riches of the rich
Makes him a master
So is the love
Of a good woman
Makes her a good mother

What gives the servant
His or her freedom
Is his wisdom

Life is like a mirror
It shows the reflection
Of our action
So take caution

Rising Power

Dog day, its tuesday
Hope that girl shell come today
Hard life, its a city life
Sweat keeps pourin down
I got my feet up, like to love
Through the dawn till Ive blown
All I wants her lovin now
I love the way she move around
Need no excuse
To let it all hang loose
My bodys for abuse
Chorus:
Rising power, well raise the night
Rising power
Rising power, well wake the dead
Rising power
(you got it)
Love life, up all night
Darkest hour at the dead of night
Seen her walkin down the street
The kind of woman that brings on heat
Love her dusk till dawn
Come the morning, she was gone
Took me all to my surprise
Money gone, left high and dry
Need no excuse
To let it all hang loose
My bodys for abuse
Chorus
(gonna end up torn to shreds)
Dont need no excuse
My bodys for abuse
Chorus
Rise, rise
Im gonna rise
Rising power
The power rise from you
