Of any stopping place in life, it is good to ask whether it will be a good place from which to go on as well as a good place to remain.

Not a Good Place to Die
Not a Good Place to Die
Not a good place to die,
Airless room.
Blank walls.
Not a good place to die,
Here death hovers.
A disinfectant smell.
Not a good place to die,
Hid away from all.
Arid stark.
Not a good place to die,
No cool breeze.
Warm sun on face.
Not a good place to die,
Alone and scared.
Cold dark.
Not a good place to die
But die he did.
Non mourned.

Same Place, Same Time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
The coffee’s hot
And the company is good
Conversation flows, as it should
A joke or two
And when all is said and done
We’re right back to where we begun
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
These crowded streets
I balance tight roped on the curb
Car screeches past, a scream is heard
De ja vu
Yes I’ve been here before
Time moves slowly as traffic stalls
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Break
It was good
You were sublime
I’m so glad that we spent the time
Time is short
What we have is rare
Love is oxygen with you there
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

Good Life
The good life, 1 day thats what Ill be livin
Fantasy never hurt nobody, whatever chills the illin
When the everyday gets on your last 1, give it up and go
2 the place in everyones future, the good life - 1 day well know
(good life)
Everyday after school, u know where 2 find this brother
Uptown at every movie show, outta my life 2 another
That was the only thing that I wanted 2 do, that was my drug of choice
Left all the funny smellin cigarettes 2 the american boys
La dolce vita was the knob that turned me on
Marcello mastroianni italian mac comin on strong
He had all the honies, the kind from the magazines
Small waist, big - right!... biggest ones uve ever seen
The good life (good life), 1 day thats what Ill be livin
Fantasy never hurt nobody, whatever chills the illin
When the everyday gets on your last 1, give it up and go
2 the place in everyones future, the good life - 1 day well know
1 day well know
(good life)
(good life)
Mama worked all night, went 2 school by day
Wanted 2 get her master degree so she could make a better way
Set examples 4 her babies that well never forget
Thats where I guess my spirit comes from, eternally never met
Oh, the good life (good life), 1 day thats what Ill be livin
Fantasy never hurt nobody, whatever chills the illin (ooh, good life)
When the everyday gets on your last 1, give it up and go
2 the place in everyones future, (the good life)
The good life - 1 day well know
(good life)
Good life
Good life
Good life (good life)
Hey, hey, hey!
Peace 2 the mother that knows
That the babies are the key 2 the world, key 2 the world
The battles of the future will be won
By those who teach those baby boys and girls
This is our plea 2 the brothers
Who are tired of the barely gettin by, instead u should try
2 see your future map out your steps
And make sure no 1 dies
The good life (good), 1 day thats what Ill be livin
Fantasy never hurt nobody, whatever chills the illin
(1 drop of blood aint worth forsaking your dreams)
When the everyday gets on your last 1, give it up and go
(music, sports, fashion, whatever)
2 the place in everyones future, the good life - 1 day well know
(consolidate, think ahead, and cream, cream)
The good life (good life), 1 day thats what Ill be livin
Fantasy never hurt nobody, whatever chills the illin (hey yeah, good life)
When the everyday gets on your last 1, give it up and go (good life, oh)
2 the place in everyones future, the good life - 1 day well know
New power generation (good life)
Tryin 2 lead the good life (1 day well know)
Oh yeah, oh lord
Good life (good life)
The good life
Good life (good life)
The good life (good life)
Good life (good life), 1 day thats what Ill be livin

Goonies 'R' Good Enough
Here we are
Hanging on to strings of green and blues
Break the chain and we break down
Oh it's not real if you don't feel it
Unspoken expectations
Ideals you used to play with
They've finally taken shape for us.
What's good enough for you
Is good enough for me
It's good enough
It's good enough for me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Now you say
You're startin' to feel the push and pull
Of what could be and never can
You mirror me stumblin' through those
Old fashioned superstitions
I find too hard to break
Oh maybe you're out of place
What's good enough for you
Is good enough for me
It's good enough
It's good enough for me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
(Good Enough) for you
Is good enough for me
It's good, it's good enough
It's good enough for me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Old fashioned superstitions
I find too hard to break
Oh maybe you're out of place
What's good enough for you
Is good enough for me
It's good enough
It's good enough for me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
(Good Enough) for you
Is good enough for me
It's good, it's good enough
It's good enough for me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

In My Life
Written by ricky & kim wilde
Look for the strength you know you can feel
Search for the truth you know that is real
Then reach for the place you know they cant steal
And say, Im feeling good with my life
No point in letting life bring you down
Theres always something bad hangin round
Face up to trouble and stare it out
I know Im feeling good with my life
In my life - everything is feeling good
In my life - feeling like you know it should
In my life - cant you see its understood
Im feeling good with my life
No better place to start than with you
Get your head together then follow through
Its not what youre saying its what you do
I know Im feeling good with my life
Dont fantasize how your life could be
Make all your dreams a reality
Then there is nothing can bring you down
I know Im feeling good with my life
In my life - everything is feeling good
In my life - feeling like you know it should
In my life - cant you see its understood
Im feeling good with my life
Weve got to make it living together
Learning to share our lives
Weve got to speak from the heart
Find a new way to start
Thats something weve all got to realise
In my life

The Last Place God Made
Ive seen the best of times
Ive seen the worst of times
been around and Ive taken my chances
(but) I could never be tied down
Too many questions--not enough answers
Then I laid eyes on you
I knew right there and then
This would be more than a passing encounter
My fate is bound to yours
Ive found a cause right here
And if this is the last place God made
And yours is the last face I see
Just feeling close to you
Thats good enough for me
Weve seen the best of times
Weve seen the worst of times
Been through hell and high water together
Diamond bright and tear stained memries
These are the times Ill remember forever
If you believe in me--like I believe in you
Without a care for the why or the wherefore
I will be there for you
And youll be there for me
And if this is the last place God made
And yours is the last face I see
Just feeling close to you
Its good enough for me
If this is the last place God made
You know its the only place I want to be
Just feeling close to you
Thats good enough for me
If this is the last place God made
You know its the only place I want to be
Just feeling close to you
Its good enough for me

It's Not My Place
my mom and dad are always fighting and it's
Getting very un-exciting to get a good job
You need the proper schooling now who the
Hell do ya think you're fooling
But it's not my place oh-no no it's not my
Place no no no it's my-not my-not my place
In the 9 to 5 world and it's not my place
In the 9 to 5 world
And it's not my place with 9 to 5 girl
It's not my place in the 9 to 5 world
Hangin' out with lester bangs you all and
Phil spector really has it all uncle floyd
Shows on the t.v. jack nicholson, clint eastwood, 10cc
But it's not my place but it's not my place
Don't wanna be a working stiff lose my identify
'cause when it comes to working 9 to 5 there
Ain't no place for me ain't my reality, to me
Vin scelsa's on the radio ramones are hangin'
Out in kokomo roger corman's on a talk show
With allan arkush and stephen king you know
But it's not my place but it's not my place

Home
Home alone
A place to be on
Where to find me on phone
I'll be seated by the stone
Home for long
A place to go strong
Where to find me no wrong
I'll be waiting a knock at gong
Home for good
A place to get food
Where to find no trace of rude
I'll be relaxed to manage my mood
_
Home my home
A place to avoid life storm
Where smiles 're always worm
I'll be chatting with brother Tom
Home my fame
A place to hold my name
Where my title find its stem
I'll be standing to rub my shame
Home of peace
A place that none tease
Where respect never miss
I'll be holding your forehead for a kiss
Home best refuge
A place we no grudge
Where care has no judge
I'll be having meals by the fridge
Home is sweetest
A place without evil test
Where, West from East
I'll sing, Home remain the best

Say Its All Mine
Well I know its over
Like a waste of mind
Well I know its side ball
I cant seem to find
Like a waste of someone
Like a wasted home
Well I know its over
I know its over long
Did you ever slip inside my ozone
I saw it in my eyes
Ever slip into me baby?
And I know its mine
I gotta say its all mine
With so low
Well I know its not mine
With so much
Well I say its all mine
With so low
And I know its not mine
Well its solace baby
I saw the face of mine
You took my hand and held on
For the longest time
I was always looking to be the one for you
It could have been so perfect
If I still lied at you
And I want to scream inside you no-one
Did you ever look at me
I saw a place where I was open
Now it will die mine
I gotta say its all mine
When no man
When I know its not mine
With so much
When Im faking the lies
With so low
I gotta say its all mine
Gotta say its all mine
Wanna say its all mine
Gonna say its all mine
It was so good
It was so good
It was so good
It was so good
It was so good
It was so good
It was so mine
I gotta say its all mine
With so low
When I know its not mine
Its over
And I can face it no lie
With so much
Well I know its not mine
With so low
I know its not mine
With so much
I gotta face its a lie
With so low
I know its not mine
With so far
I gotta place its a lie
It was so good
So good
Say its so good
Say its so good
Say its so good
Say its so good
Say its so good

Good Lovin' Is Hard To Find
(Gary Rossington, Johnny Van Zant, Ed King, Robert White Johnson)
Every woman's out there lookin' for a rich man
And every man's out there looking for a perfect ten
Can't always get what you want sometimes
So your better off just takin' what you can
Money won't make you happy baby
And a perfect woman son's gonna make you sad
If you think that's where it's at, then I'm telling you, your wrong
Cause you can have it all one day and then it's gone
You can search all of your life, and still not find
What you want, ain't what you've got
Good lovin' so hard to find
Could this be the right place, at the right time
Good lovin', feels so fine
I just can't get enough
Cause good lovin's hard to find,so hard to find
We all need good lovin'
Ain't talkin' about no one night stand
Some have the touch, and others just a hand
But when you find the right one then you'll understand
Can't always get what you want sometimes
So you're better off just takin' what you can
You can search all of your life, and still not find
What you want ain't what you've got
Good lovin' so hard to find
Could this be the right place at the right time
Good lovin' feels so fine
I just can't get enough, I just can't get enough
Some of that good good love
Some of that good good love
Some of that good, good love
Good lovin'
So hard to find
Good lovin'
Make you loose your mind
Good lovin'
Good good love
Good lovin'
Some of that lovin' baby

Good For Me
Words and music by bob seger
Shes no good at being phony
She never tells a good lie
She knows just when to let me be
She always knows when Im too high
Shes never out in front of me
Or way too for
Too for behind
Shes always right beside me
Right in the good place all the time
Shes so good for me
So good for me
Shes so good for me
Good for me yeah
Oh, and when I call her at midnight
Oh, the lady she knows just what to say
She says the words I long to hear
Oh yeah,couse thats her way
She knows just what to say
To make me want to stay cause thats her way
Shes good for me
Oh, so good for me
Shes sure enough good for me yeah
So good so good so good shes so good for me oh yeah
Shes so good for me
Oh the lady
Shes so good for me
Good for me

The age alone does not contribute
Wisdom would grow with age, like wrinkles
Only when the stuff was good in the first place..
Wine would improve with the age, it’s true,
Provided the grapes were good in the first place.

I Am Not Good Enough
I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH
I am not good enough.
I will never be good enough.
I will die not having been good enough,
And the world will go on
Without my name
My memory
My immortality
My place among mankind’s true creators.
I have not been good enough
I will never be good enough
I have had enough evidence
And lived long enough
To know this.
Why then can I not be wise
And accept it?
Why must I try to the end
To be what I will never be?
God Who has given me so much
Has not given me this
I should simply accept it..
But I do not and cannot…
So I write this.

Good And Evil.
Good thoughts, 'tis said, are no more than good dreams
Save they be into action put, and that
On opportunity depends. Alas!
If place and power cohered, what good were done
Which else, a babe still-born, has no way here,
But in the womb of good intention fails,
The heart's abortion! Ay, and thuswise too,
Full many a foul intent in that it has
No power or place of action is debarred
A monstrous birth. So nature haply does
In some mysterious way we do not know
Still hold the balance 'tween the good and ill
Of thought in action here, and we become
(In spite of our own selves full oft indeed)
Dispensers of a higher equity
Than the bare law of reason would allow.
