The greatest gift that Oxford gives her sons is, I truly believe, a genial irreverence toward learning, and from that irreverence love may spring.

Deity
You want a deity?
Come
Pickup a stone or wood log
Have some sindur
Have some flowers
Have some agarbati
Light wick
Deity formed.
Worship it.
Your deity is
Ready to give you
What you want.
Pray before the deity
With heart and soul.
The deity never
Try to and never
Done anything
That would put loss.
It is you to decide
How far you believe
On your deity
How far you have
Trust on Him.

Each one somehow thrives.
Each deity has some devotees,
Some of whom might be well off,
and ascribe their getting fortunes
To the grace of that deity and feed it.
So every deity is fed; so is the priest

Deity
Eyes open
Empty as halos
He comes for me
Deity
Help- whats the matter?
Looking for someone?
He comforts me
Deity
Resurrection
Coming in stereo
If you say so
He comes for me
Lets pray
To tv divinity
He covets me
Deity
Resurrection
Coming in stereo
If you say so
Deity
Resurrection
Coming in stereo
If you say so

My deity is my rival
My family deity stood
As my rival before me
When my son chose to name
His son after the deity’s,
Instead of my name.

Deities Of The Sea
A deity is shaken by his intelligence,
Forebrain is perfect, mind is never absent.
A fisherman has seen this deity of his,
For he does catch fish and everything.
My life is like the fishermen all over,
Like the beam of light cascading on surfaces.
My God is brilliant at works of art and science -
He has created these legendary faculties,
The aspects of a knowing-sphere,
The size of the Earth, and all the fish in the sea.
This ocean will erupt with food so stinging,
We will fatten ourselves to reach the deity.

It is important that students bring a certain ragamuffin, barefoot irreverence to their studies; they are not here to worship what is known, but to question it.

African Rhythm
The foes beat the
drum of prejudice,
the Deity will not let
it sound; if the Deity
lets it sound, they
will be the one to
dance to the rhythm.
The termite only aspires:
no termite can have
the stone pulverized.
Their malicious
thoughts have only become
our luck.

I have a total irreverence for anything connected with society except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer.

Woman In The Village
The woman in the village
Stood there on the gravel street
With a face pale and a gloom evading nothing.
Famished body and tensed mind
Are her two duals well knit for ever.
Her man is dead long before
And her kids are wretched and apart.
The lone woman of all seasons of the land!
She stood before the deity dark all over
With her folded hands shivering for want of strength.
The deity heeded none of her prayers for
It did not know even for once that it was a deity indeed!
The skies rained the big drops
And hers struggled to run down.
Down her feet
Earth shook and a hole caved in,
She fell not
For above her head were flying strong
Vultures dark which had begun to claim
Her famished flesh once more.
The clouds had now given in to thunders loud.

Goddess.... I Love...
Goddess, stone deity
Amorous, eternity
My love
Blurred line, divinity
Worshipping, serendipity
Blessed from above
My goddess, my earth
Me, my worth
My identity
Worshipper, me
You, deity
I surrender
Pouting, you
Me, devotee
Love to hate me?
You came to life
I gave you mine
Still you love to hate me?

Poets’ Occupation
You insist on some occupations to grasp,
Yet lying has happened for some time.
The understanding is full, fulfilling us,
As men who bear the pains insist on us.
The warriors of controversy shake us
Around the jugular veins, where there is a deity;
The deity is wrong, fulfilling nobody
Just as skies are around to tempt.
May we insist on the men of old,
Poets who are strong and never gaining;
The ends of the story are folded
Into many chambers of the heart.

Think it the greatest impiety to prefer life to disgrace, and for the sake of life to lose the reason for living.
Eternal Homeland
To the city of the living Deity
Avoiding trace of impiety uglification
For reverence of liberally given benefits and edification
Guarding as a myrmidon the prize of salvation
To the city of the living God
To reach this Lasting Homeland,
Still, a good deal is missing my Lord.
To the city of the living Divinity
Shunning vice, cultivating virtue -
The desire for the charm of sanctity
For the regard of freely bestowed profusion of graces
To safely reach the Holiest of Places
To the city of the living Deity
Shielding as a stout soldier 'all' with pity
To reach that City of cities,
A great deal is missing my Lord.
Regret each loss... my God.
To the Fatherland... the Ultimate City
Safeguarding the greatest devotion and fidelity
For the regard of freely given Protective Presence...
Guarding as a warrior the Blood of Mercy and absolution
Remaining steadfast in final resolution
To reach the City of the living God
Willing to die - out of love only - on the spot
To reach that Lasting Fatherland,
Always, come short my Lord.
To the City of the Sacred Maternity
Where motherless exult by the mantle of True-Blue Motherhood
There motherliness dwells in joy with pure saintliness
And motherly love is the same as Immaculate Benignity
Virginal Generosity; There love devotional and votive
Remains the one and only motive...
Long downright for this mothering -
This Motherland, my Lord...
To the Kingdom ruled by majesty of Truth and Love
For awe of being given the gift of faith and mystical hope
Guarding as a warrior for Truth, the prize of His unsurpassed Love
Taking refuge in His wounds, eager to be wounded -
A sign for the realness of the poorest form of love
To the City of the living Deity
Undefiled by error, guarding wealth
Of the unshakable twosome of chastity and charity
Miss gravely this City my Lord.
To the Unchanging Homeland...
To God's own country where the Presence of Deity
Triggers weighty feelings of reverential, filial fear
Missing this Homeland dear...
All earthly dealings and gear shall disappear
Yet, the Kingdom where Love and Truth reside
Cannot be shaken...
Cannot be mistaken...
Here, the King is a 'consuming fire, '
Bestowing superabundance
To only one - straight as an arrow - desire...
Where the King is...
There all the wealth is...
So never
Pass the chance
Have a cause for regret
Shame or blame...
As a myrmidon -
Carrying out orders without question or doubt
Lastingly setting eyes on hope that is safe
And Safe Haven again -
Never to feel that something is missing again...

Ruler of Everything
It is past the hour we all realize,
No one on Earth lives to survive...
Immortalized.
We breathe to share the air,
Then die!
No one is born to be controlled,
From the time of birth until we grow old.
Or be ruled by those who dare to try!
With deceiving misguidance...
Applied to convince with blatant lies.
All of us live.
All of us die!
Many believe,
Death can be disguised.
Or from it we can hide!
This gift of life is given and allowed by,
Only One Deity we are here to please.
And only One Deity commands and oversees...
Who and what we all should be!
Whether in prayer upon our knees...
God is there,
And aware of our needs!
It is past the hour we all realize,
No one on Earth lives to survive...
Immortalized.
We breathe to share the air,
Then die!
All of us live.
All of us die!
Many believe,
Death can be disguised.
Or from it we can hide!
There is only One Deity.
One Ruler of Everything that is we see.
God is ALL.
God IS King!
