Mankind are apt to be strongly prejudiced in favor of whatever is countenanced by antiquity, enforced by authority, and recommended by custom.

It is not so difficult a task to plant new truths, as to root out old errors for there is this paradox in men, they run after that which is new, but are prejudiced in favor of that which is old.

The Level Playing Field
A few words need to be said about the level playing field
and the relative benefits to those concerned it does yield.
If those who are in authority are not impartial in their ways
the effect of this is reflected back to all no matter who plays.
There are however some exceptions to the rule
regardless of what we have all learnt at school.
Whether it be sport, business, industry, research or education
the level playing field applies to each and every situation.
When certain people are prejudiced towards one person or group
and show too much favor for one party then the other they'll dupe.
This practice is known to be a form of much corruption and deceipt
and should be recognised by all those who're in the grip of receipt.

Authority Song
They like to get you in a compromising position
They like to get you there and smille in your face
They think, theyre so cute when they got you in that condition
Well I think, its a total disgrace
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
So I call up my preacher
I say: gimme strenght for round 5
He said: you dont need no strength, you need to grow up, son
I said: growing up leads to growing old and then to dying,
And dying to me dont sound like all that much fun
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
Oh no
Oh no
I fight authority, authority always wins
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins

I am prejudiced in favor of him who, without impudence, can ask boldly. He has faith in humanity, and faith in himself. No one who is not accustomed to giving grandly can ask nobly and with boldness.

Custom Machine
Check my custom machine
Well shes metal flake blue with a corvette grill
(check my custom machine)
And they say it looks better when shes standin still
(check my custom machine)
When I step on the gas she goes wa aa aa
Ill let you look but dont touch my custom machine
Well with naugahyde bucket seats in front and back
(check my custom machine)
Everything is chrome, man, even my jack
(check my custom machine)
When I step on the gas she goes wa aa aa
Ill let you look but dont touch my custom machine
With stereophonic speaker set with fibrosonic sound
(check my custom machine)
Magnesium spokes, it stands an inch off the ground
(check my custom machine)
When I step on the gas she goes wa aa aa
Ill let you look but dont touch my custom machine

Hide My Worth
Language belies hidden value laboring
this tongue swollen in your valley of the mist.
Accomplishments unfold, sweet leafy mint,
peaked coalescing firmament, mountain dew.
Dropped from great heights your eye follows
masked gracious favor, humbled both cheeks.
Granting thus thine worth unto a beating heart
For Jack and Jill live, walled in humor now.
Blemish not a countenanced look, from you, 'it is.
imprisoned was the thorn and passion flame risen.

Authority is by nothing so much strengthened and confirmed as by custom; for no man easily distrusts the things which he and all men have been always bred up to.

One Day More, Another Day Perhaps
his lines have always been sad
you will later get a taste of his ways
a custom
not really a trend, it is just that way
with him
a mystery, a mist, mostly moments of mourning
be glad he did not mention about the funeral
and the wake and the wailing of the women
but this matter about sorrow and pain
can be a subject of a discussion
a matter only of an asking
a favor for no favor
perhaps just for a change
like you want another menu in the resto
italian lasagna will do
or a beef steak for two
he is not that hard to please
he will cater to your request
he'll take you to a merry-go-round
and have a ride the whole year round
he will promise, one day more, another day perhaps
a happy poem, a victorious line, triumphant warps
just wait for he is still wiping his tears

I Could Not Love You
There're a billion people in the world
All of them equal but of different worth
I find you to have a value equaled by no other
You are a rare and beautiful flower
But I'm sorry that I could not favor you
And make you the queen of my heart as I should
That instead I chose a different group
And I chose to favor them more than you
To favor a person means that you are two
And I'm sorry that I could not be with you
And a favored another one more fair
Although you are a true queens heir
And amongst a million kings and princesses
You always claimed that you were the fairest
And though your heart is the kindest I knew
I apologies that I could not favor you
And instead I chose to favor another
Not your equal, but not your better
I see a million faces each day but only acquaint with a few
You and I went different ways so I could not favor you
You and I once had our chance but I chose to let it go
You had no fault at all as I made the choice alone
And instead I chose to look for another
And I did favor them more than you
Although in my eyes you are a flower
I'm sorry that I could not be with you
And value you as a queen like I should
But just as I favored another more than you
Another favors you more than any other
And chose to be with you and no-other

Break Your Laws
when your laws
are applied and enforced
differently to people
according to their religious,
political, or sexual orientation...
when they by application
favor the rich over the poor,
the few over the many.
when they take away dignity,
and individual rights...
when they are used to abuse,
manipulate, and enslave...
when they are immoral,
unjust, and demeaning...
when they stand against freedom...
i will break your laws
with total commitment!

That Has Yet To Happen
Do me a favor.
'Sure.
I'm here for you.'
Don't do me anymore favors.
That's the favor I am requesting.
Everytime you have been here for me,
Why is it I have to remind you...
Of a favor you promised to do,
That has yet to happen?
'So what are you saying?
The excuses I used,
Were not good enough for you?
And I went out of my way,
To choose the best ones I could?
Well...
You don't have to worry about me,
Ever doing you a favor again.
People like you are not worth my time.
And are so ungrateful.'
I know.
It's difficult for me,
To not think of myself all the time.
'I'm glad you can see how selfish you can be.'
I'm reminded.
'Good.
It's not all about you,
You know.
I have a life to live too.'
I'm reminded.
