There is a wisdom in this beyond the rules of physic: a man's own observation what he finds good of and what he finds hurt of is the best physic to preserve health.

From ‘The Cross’
Who can blot out the Cross, which th’instrument
Of God, dew’d on me in the Sacrament?
Who can deny me power, and liberty
To stretch mine arms, and mine own Cross to be?
Swim, and at every stroke, thou art thy Cross;
The Mast and yard make one, where seas do toss;
Look down, thou spiest out Crosses in small things;
Look up, thou seest birds rais’d on crossed wings;
All the Globes frame, and spheres, is nothing else
But the Meridians crossing Parallels.
Material Crosses then, good physic bee,
But yet spiritual have chief dignity.
These for extracted chemic medicine serve,
And cure much better, and as well preserve;
Then are you your own physic, or need none,
When Still’d, or purg’d by tribulation.
For when that Cross ungrudg’d, unto you sticks,
Then are you to your self, a Crucifix.
As perchance, Carvers do not faces make,
But that away, which hid them there, do take;
Let Crosses, so, take what hid Christ in thee,
And be his image, or not his, but he.

The Poet Finds....
The poet finds whatever the moon could not see,
The poet finds whatever the earth does not know,
The poet finds whatever the sun could not see,
The poet finds whatever others do not know,
The poet finds whatever the stars could not see,
So why do the heathen rage and the people plot vanity? !
For she who is pregnant is closer to us,
And the hart pants after streams of water.
Your tears have been your food night and day,
And like your inner self in the lan dof your muse;
But the poet finds whatever the sun could not see.

The inquiries of the jurist are in truth prosecuted much as inquiry in physic and physiology was prosecuted before observation had taken the place of assumption.

Dear physic always does good, if not to the patient, at least to the apothecary.
Until Love Finds You
Until love finds you,
You never know what it is to be in love,
Until true love finds you,
It will make you do things beyond limit;
Like a better kiss and care,
A better romance will be your daily food.
It pays to enrich your knowledge,
Wisdom is better than silver and gold;
Love will surely hit you like,
The nutrition for the average!
It needs more than a kiss for a true romance,
Love is the art of creation admired by the champions;
So get ready for this love.
Until love finds you,
You don't know what it is to be in love;
Let this love crown you day long,
Like sweet water to your taste.
Until love finds you,
You don't know how it feels to be in love;
So get ready for this love.

My People Die
My people die when they are asleep,
Kicking and punching their way to the heavens.
The wonder of peace suggests diplomas of good,
The good say goodbye to the morning.
My personality is finer than the workers of good,
It causes a stop and finds a treasure of gold.
The nature of some discovery sings to the tune,
And this melodious sound finds truth, in truth.

If It Was Not Terrorized
For all of the wealth one man has,
Another lives in poverty.
For all of the poverty that man has...
Another finds hope.
For all of the hope that man finds...
Another is motivated.
For all of the motivation that man has,
Another finds success.
And from all of the success stories told...
The quest for peace seems neverending!
Much like the cost of it that feeds fear,
And yet the price to find it...
Is more visible than it is to locate!
Perhaps if it was not terrorized,
It would appear!

Of this they drank half a pint every day, and sometimes more or less, as it operated, by way of gentle physic. Two others had each two oranges and one lemon given them every day. These they ate with greediness, at different times, upon an empty stomach.

Rest is peace.
Away from the threats, mind finds rest.
Having one to trust, mind finds rest.
Inflicting no hurts, mind finds rest.
Peace prevails where mind is at rest.
