You have taken our relationship totally out of context.
My showing respect and love for you,
Does not mean I am weak and have stopped competing.
I am seeking a mate.
Not a wrestling companion.
To greet me everyday,
With a putting me into a headlock...
And then to throw me to the floor,

IS a bit aggressive.

Not only was it that I surprised people by beating Bret Hart, but it was a great match. They still rate it as one of the best wrestling matches of all time.
Water Prize
The girls varsity swimming team at Trinity High School in NYC has just completed an undefeated season and won the All-Ivy meet. This is dedicated to their excellent coach and team.
Water, water everywhere - but not the kind to drink;
the arid lands of Trinity sports forces one to think:
will we find the focus, so truly we can say,
'we give our all at every practice, every meet, on every day...'
Or are we disconnected and slightly out-of-sync?

Slideful Drinking
This flawed line of thinking,
always gets me to start drinking.
It never helps me find what I am seeking.
It just kills the dreams and starts the bleeding.
Destroying the hope for which I am pleading.
I need to stop this endless grieving.
With which I get is ceaseless drinking.

The F.A.Cup Final
When I was a kid it was a big day
all the family around the television
I'd watch hours of the build up
seeing how both teams got there.
My father telling my mum the rules
my sister pretending she was interested
even the dog barked at the screen.
I'd kick every ball during the match
dreaming of being there one day
this was the best day of the year.
After the match I'd be over the fields
I'd pretend i was one of the players
who had played that day at Wembley.
The F.A.Cup Final was a great occasion
the biggest day in the football season

At this point I have no interest in returning to wrestling. I am pursuing my acting career. But I never say never. I enjoyed the three years I was in the wrestling industry.
Making the City Of Joy gave me the best political education of my life. It became a wrestling match between an Englishman who had gradually ceased to be a Marxist, and a culture that was becoming more Marxist by the day.
