But I just think we've got such a continuity with what we're doing that most people come in and fill in the blanks. And sometimes we leave a lot of blanks to be filled.

My job as an actress is to make things work and come up with reasons of my own and not just fill in the blanks for anybody else, you know what I mean?
I don't believe in using too much graphic violence, although I've done it. It's better to be suggestive and to allow the viewer to fill in the blanks in their minds.

Now Just Remember Your Own Words 'Just a Friend
The number of times I have told you
The amount of times I've asked you
The existence of a preexisting condition.
Like a mental case
Just a friend
Nothing more to show
The tease of the week
but just a friend
Always and forever just a friend
But where did you go
If that was so
Walk away only to come back tomorrow
In tears of sorrow
Hate your mom cause she tries to help
Standing on your own
And all alone
Just pick up the phone
But you won't
Got to entertain tonight
Got move on with show
And then you their yet again
Just a friend
Then why do you want to dance
I know you
I know where you want it
I know the way you want it
Just a friend
Back off man
A kick to the nuts
Dropping to your knees with a what the (You Fill In The Blanks)
Just a friend
A dangerous game is being played
With every word you say
Big brother I've been and never will be
Not to you
You just don't get it
Just a friend
But just a piece of (You Fill In The Blanks) to those
Taking off all your cloths
Acting like hoe
Screwing everyone I know
Just a friend
Then expect me to defend
Your name
Your honor
Your dignity
Your kid
Just a friend
What do you just not get
This is a very bad trip
With every slip
I'm getting so distant
So very awkward
The scene of this crime has ended
It ended with those words 'Just A Friend'
I'm sorry girl but now you have just mistaken.
I'm sorry girl but now it is I'm in love with your friend.
I can't even ever go down that road ever again.

There are some people, you know, they think the way to be a big man is to shout and stomp and raise hell-and then nothing ever really happens. I'm not like that I never shoot blanks.

The Air That I Breathe
I've been trying for hours just to think of what exactly to say
I thought I'd leave you with a letter or firey speech
Like when an actor makes an exit at the end of a play
And I've been dying for hours trying to fill up all the holes with some sense
I'd like to know how you faded and you threw it away
I'd like to give you all the reasons and what everything meant
Well I could tell you good-bye or maybe see you around
With just a touch of a sarcastic thanks
We started out with a bang and at the top of the world
Now the guns are exhausted and the bullets are blanks
And everything's blank
Chorus:
If I could find the words then I would write it all down
If I could only find a voice I would speak
Oh it's there in my eyes so can't you see me tonight
C'mon and look at me and read 'em and weep
chorus
I've been whispering softly, trying to build a cry up to a scream
We let the past slip away, and put the future on hold
Now the present is nothing but a hollowed out dream
And I've been dying for hours trying to fill up all the holes with some sense
I'd like to know why you faded and you threw it away
I'd like to give you all the reasons and what everything meant
Well I could tell you good-bye or maybe see you around
With just a touch of a sarcastic thanks
But now the rooms are all empty, the candles are dark
The guns are exhausted and the bullets are blanks, and everything's blank
chorus
It's there in my eyes and coming straight from my heart
It's running silent and angry and deep
It's there in my eyes and it's all I can say, c'mon and read 'em and weep
Read 'em and weep - for all the hours we'll be spending alone
Read 'em and weep - for the dreams wec12

In North America.
Chicago, Milwaukee
Door County, Ra seen..
Get the great cities
Along the blanks of Michigan.
Museum..Sky scrappers..
These lights glow
Till oil is over.
In the Dael Illinois
Smell the evergreen
Underworld merchants
In India, Mumbai is the bird.
In America, it is another
Which is the image?
Which is the mirror image? ?
Snow-flux will drab
As the snow-fall begins
Come to Door County
To experience astonishing fall season.
Stand on the blanks of
Freaking Michigan
Knowledge mountain peaks are visible.
Connive.. With bards like skyscrapers.

What is left unsaid
He shuffles towards me, this obscure stranger
Again, the shock of his bearing surprises me
I see him through the lengthened glass of memory –
the sinewy arms that balanced
a wobbling girl on her new blue bicycle,
the feet that trod sturdily over mountainsides
with hampers and children and dogs.
His cobalt eyes brighten, his beaming smile assures
we are not yet robbed of recognition, my name
still sounds from his lips, he who names people
but fewer and fewer things
His priorities always were fine ones.
Like broken telegraphic code, we communicate
in half sentences, his utterances
A tangled ball of words, so knotted and twisted
it cannot be undone
As I guess at his meanings, his face held so close,
I can feel the spittle and sour-sweet odour of winter, that
which frightens his grandchildren, without offence.
I fill in the blanks in the air, writing what is left unsaid
with my own words, wondering,
what it is we really try to say.
My mother loved books. My father – oh my father-
Who acted and sang and told his old music hall jokes, word perfectly
with rollicking accent and narrative gesture
Who shared from the pages of his mind his treasure store of tales,
of folklore and battles, his loves and his travels.
He sits in a comfy chair, I hold his hand
and tell him my stories as his eyes close.
“See you again soon, Dad. I love you.” The eyelids flicker
but he cannot remember the words.
I must fill in the blanks.

I have a lot of fun with guns, especially the M-16, but my favourite is my little .22. It fits nicely in the palm of your hand. I do limit myself to blanks.
The whole idea that the rescue was staged or the soldiers were shooting blanks, that's just obvious stuff. Why would you do that in the middle of a war? It's just crazy.

The Day We Met
the day we met
our eyes level
our hands entwine
both full grown
and mature
our heads
are different
mine is bigger
and yours so
hard and brittle
yet we agree
on something
and some feelings
we agree
we do not have to change
you or me
or both of us
we agree
on this love
we accept
everything
what i have you take
what you have i too, take
it is all yes
there is no no
but for our survival
we agree
that on some blanks
we may fill up
and make our own
answers
brief and concise
and no tearing
of pages
no return
no exchange
these are the rules
these are the instructions
now, we may proceed
let us turn to the next page, please...

Running silent and deep -
And all those promises we promised to keep, they wont be kept anymore
Read em and weep - for the magic that our bodies had made
Read em and weep - for the blood that we lost
Running silent and deep - and all the secrets that we somehow betrayed
For whatever the cost
Read em and weep - for the memories still alive in the bed
Read em and weep - for the lies we believed
Running silent and deep - and all the things that can never be said
Why dont you look at me and read em and weep
Cmon and look at me and read em and weep
Its there in my eyes and coming straight from my heart
Its running silent and angry and deep
Its here in my eyes and its all I can say
Cmon look at me and read em and weep

what is this all about?
Time is asking.
What is this rush all about?
These series of silent
and prolific outputs?
Symptomatic of
what? Cramming examinees
to Time's ultimate Quiz
Choosing the best answer
In such a short time
Making the best essay possible
hoping to get a perfect

Time, why are you too short?
Time, why are you so brief and concise
and so cruel?
There will be no blanks.
Every choice is made
Every empty hole is shaded
Filled and
