I think that the majority of messages are validating messages to confirm the survival of conscious. And many times that validation message is negative or sad.

Mixed Messages
Youre sending me mixed messages
Mixed messages that I can hardly work through
Where the heart lies
Which message is coming truly from you
When I get too close to you
I feel the fear, can almost hear it
Then you call me late at night saying can I be with you
I wanna be with you
Youre sending me mixed messages
Mixed messages that I can hardly work through
Where the heart lies
Which message is coming truly from you
You keep your thoughts to yourself
You keep me guessing while were undressing
Then youre gone for days on end and
Here we go again
Here we go again
Youre sending me mixed messages
Mixed messages that I can hardly work through
Where the heart lies
Which message is coming truly from you
It cant keep bouncing around like this
You cut me loose then pull me in for a kiss
If you know what you want
Why dont you tell me, clearly
Wonder why it bothers me
I wonder why I even wonder why
If I had another lover, well, would it get to you
Would I get through
This puzzle of mixed messages
Mixed messages, that I can hardly work through
Where the heart lies
Which message is coming truly from you
Youre sending me mixed messages
Mixed messages that I can hardly work through
Where the heart lies
Which message is coming truly from you

Him! ...Who? ...He!
Don't you get so obsessed,
To forget what's important to you.
Remember that.
And apply that message,
Where it applies.
'What is that suppose to mean?
What are you talking about? '
I don't know,
I just deliver them.
'Deliver what? '
Messages.
'Messages?
What kind of messages?
And from whom? '
You know?
Messages from Him.
'Him?
Him who? '
You know.
Him! ...Who? ...He!
'Hem Wu Hees?
That Chinese Restaurant? '
Naw, man!
Forget it.
Forget I said anything to you.
Have a good day.
'You tell them,
My liking General Tso chicken...
Is not for public announcement.
Deliver 'that' message.
And you stay out of my business.'

Sent Back
Never wish something negative,
Upon someone else deserving or not.
Or keep those feelings embittered,
With a harboring to become directed.
Sometimes when messages like that,
Are sent to eventually become delivered...
Often arrive at the wrong address,
For no one there willing to accept.
Never wish something negative,
Upon someone else.
Or keep those feelings directed.
It 'is' difficult to forgive with a forgiveness given.
Yet...
Sometimes when messages like that,
Are sent to 'hopefully' become delivered...
Often undelieverable are these messages.
And sent back to create havoc upon the sender.
Where such feelings are kept anchored.

In the Vale of Llangollen
In the fields and the lanes again!
There's a bird that sings in my ear
Messages, messages;
The green cool song that I long to hear.
It pipes to me out of a tree
Messages, messages;
This is the voice of the sunshine,
This is the voice of grass and the trees.
It is the joy of Earth
Out of the heaven of the trees:
The voice of a bird in the sunshine singing me
Messages, messages.

In deed
Back in the door
She 'plonks' the 'messages'
on the kitchen table.
'Messages',
Now who coined that term?
Isn't it the 'shopping',
The 'groc-er-ies'.
The mind does a playback
To the days when 'messages'
Were handwritten notes
By your grandnother in Ireland
To get some milk,
Or some bread
Or something.
Indeed.

United teams win. Divided teams lose. Play to our multicultural strengths. Stop preaching the messages of hate and division in your campaign themes. And now, a message to both parties. Please remember that those who have participated in the United We Stand America movement are intelligent, thinking, responsible people. They are not unprogrammed robots who can be emotionally swayed by your negative ads or messages of fear and divisiveness. Bluntly, you will have to face the issues to get their votes. Mud wrestling and messages aimed at destroying your opponent and his loved ones won't work. I love the American people and I am sure that you do, too. I owe them a debt I can never repay and so do you. Today, their Government is a mess, and they want it fixed. By joining together as the owners of this great country, they can solve these problems. As I've said before, it is time to clean out the barn — join us — pick up a shovel. Get to work!

Secret Message
A moving stream of information
That is floating on the wind
The secrets never end
And now they call,
They sing, they play, they dance
For you, from out of the blue,
What can you do?
Chorus:
The secret messages are calling to me endlessly
They call to me across the air
The messages across the atmosphere
They whisper in your ear, they're calling everywhere
Where words cascade like rainbows tumbling from the sky
Then I'll be there, I'll be there
When messages will call to you their secrets all around
Without a sound, they're all around
Chorus:
Those secret messages that spill into the air from far away
So far away
A flowing river of illusion running with confusion
Never gone - it goes on and on
Repeat Chorus

Messages Lost In A Lonely Night
Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep.
Is the sound of my nights cell phone messages.
As my lover finally comes within cell phone range.
My lover will find nine separate cell phone messages.
As she comes within range of this night’s pleading paging.
All those messages build to ask; compel her to come to me.
Message one was subtle and said
“Enjoy dancing and a few drinks tonight. My love,
If you need me I am only a phone call away.”
It had a picture icon of enjoying drinks.
Message two said “Where is my little froggy voice? ”
Because a week ago you were ill my love.
It had the picture icon of a happy party.
Because you were out on the town partying.
Message three sadly said “You should have visited me
tonight my love.” It had the picture icon of a sad face.
Message four said simply “I miss you!
Why did you not come to me my love? ”
It had the picture icon of the broken hearted lover.
Message five said “Put another log on the fire and come! ”
It had the picture icon of a dog warm and snugly at home.
Message six said “It is 12 o’clock Cinderella
quick run to me my love! ”
It had the picture icon of the magic of meeting a rabbit;
coming out of a magician’s hat. An excellent trick.
Message seven said “Why did you not come to me? ”
It had the picture icon, of a cute cuddly, teddy bear.
Message eight said “Your nightie is under
the pillow (in its place) beside me my love.”
It had the picture icon of a man happily winking.
Message nine disappointed said “You did not
come because you do not love me enough.
True love always finds a way.” It had the picture icon
of a cloudy rainy day. Because my love remained away.

By The Name of Hope and Love
Messages of solitude overwhelms me from winter trees
Sometimes by dreams, sometimes by despair and uncertainty
I continue to travel the road of solitude and dream
As has been the turbulent history of mankind
Messages of happiness captures me from the dawning
Sometimes by expectation, sometimes by stark reality
I continue a long march of life by the name of solitude
As has been the life of a Saint
Messages of challenges awakens me from turbulent sea waves
Sometimes by courage, sometimes by fear
I continue the long journey of challenges by the name of hope
As has been the dream of an ambitious boy
Messages of hope comes from my deep heart
Sometimes by dream, sometimes by energy and spirit
I continue to walk in the darkness by the name of love
As has been the life of Jesus Christ

You are the Creator.
You create your own world by your attitude,
Picking up the messages of your surroundings, being nice or rude.
If you choose fear, anger, jealousy or greed, you'll be never freed.
Following the crowd, you will never succeed.
However, we are what we are, we just play out the law,
Follow your feelings, that is your life in this moment anyhow.
My messages are for those who understand
And given the wisdom to get into the promised land.

Given To Be Myth-ed
Messengers with messages sent,
Has been done.
Yet...
Many await the evidence brought to them,
By images they have created...
To make the seriousness of the messages,
Worthy of them to pay attention.
And unfortunately...
Physical images given to be myth-ed,
To have people convinced to believe...
Have never existed in reality.
Especially when truth,
Has been easily distorted and fed to deceive.
And 'THAT' which 'IS' is aware of this.

It's Like That
There were many shadows,
From time to time...
In my mind,
Just hiding there...
In those crevices and cracks.
There were many shadows,
Wearing hats and caps...
And their faked grins...
Following me,
Like that.
There were many shadows,
Seen in my mind.
Shadows I'd see behind,
Other shadows...
Keeping me awake.
I could not shake them.
With messages to deliver.
Messages for me...
To pay attention.
And...
That's a fact.
People get the message,
Just like that.
And berate it with attitude.
People get the message,
Like that.
People get the message,
Like that.
Yet berated it with attitude.
And...
It's like that.
Open your eyes to facts.
And, it's like that.
That's a fact.
Wishing to stay abused and confused...
There are people just like that.
And that's a fact.
People get the message,
Just like that.
But they believe that they can pay...
To have things done their way,
And...
People get the message,
Just like that.
And too late...
That's a fact.
People get the message,
Just like that.
And berate it with attitude.
Wishing to stay abused and confused...
Just like that.
And that's a fact.
There were many shadows,
From time to time...
In my mind,
Just hiding there...
In those crevices and cracks.
There were many shadows,
Wearing hats and caps...
And their faked grins...
Following me,
Like that.
People get the message,
Like that..
But berated it with attitude.
And...
Today we see it living.
With moody blues to choose,
And...
It's a fact.
It's like that.

Mixed Messages
Do you know,
What I think I do?
Your messages are sending me a meaning.
I interpret most of them as being mixed.
I think you know it.
And that's intented.
Do you know,
What I think I do?
Is there something here we should be investing?
With some time given,
To digest!
If we conversated to replace the guessing.
I'm not the one to be confused about a message.
I'm the kind that likes it more direct.
If you've got some feelings for me confessed them.
Help me out here,
Let's not start a mess.
Eliminate the guessing,
And put this at rest.
Do you know,
What I think I do?
Is there something here we should be investing?
Let's eliminate the guessing,
And put this at rest.
Do you know,
What I think I do?
Help me out here,
Let's not start a mess.
The less guess work will put my mind at rest.
Do you know,
What I think I do?
Less guess work will eliminate a mess.
Help me out here,
Let's not start a mess.
Less guess work will eliminate to put this mess at rest.
Do you know,
What I think I do?
Your messages are sending me a meaning.
I interpret most of them as being mixed.
I think you know it.
And that's intented.
I think you know it.
And that's intented.
But mixed messages are not the kind,
I think are the best.
If you want some answers,
You're the one that must confess.

Communication
Friend of mine,
This form of communication...
May not be best.
As,
You are there with your styrofoam cup
And,
Here I am with mine..
There's so much string in between
And, sometimes..
Signals get crossed,
Messages blurred.
Though,
I must say..
This is better than the smoke signals
You've sent earlier
My way.
And, my use of ESP
Did neither of us any good..
You didn't get my messages.
And,
I was left with severe headaches
From
Trying to concentrate.
Now,
I hear carrier pigeons are all the rage!
But,
We'd have to take time to train them..
And, build our own pigeon coops
I know for a while there..
We were both considering
Morris Code.
But, that's all together another language
Neither of us has the time to learn.
Don't you wish we could just speak plainly?
Would that really be so bad?
Have you heard of this fellow,
Bell, I believe his name is..
Alexander Graham Bell.
He's come up with a contraption
That could save us from the frustration
Of mixed messages
And wires getting crossed
Of being confused.
Now,
I understand his gadget works VERY well..
As long as you say what you mean
And mean what you say..
Think about it friend,
This may be a way.

I'm always uneasy with messages. I think if there is a message, it's about taking control of your life. Not becoming a victim. Be true to yourself. In essence it's about love in the drug culture.

What Is It Now Are You Left To Believe?
What sense is it to hold grudges against,
The one who comes to warn?
To then have them depicted as negative,
With a dismissing of the warning?
Only to wonder when alone and reminiscing,
Why were you picked to be chosen to warn?
By and 'angel' who came but was not adorned,
To address you enough to impress with a message.
What is it now are you left to believe?
A listening to comprehend?
When you could have prevented,
An agony suffered with much regret?
And the one who warned you bitterly scorned.
Believing them evil and full of devil-ment?
What is it now are you left to believe?
Only those dressed to impress,
Have your best interests?
With deceptions you'd rather receive?
Or do you find more time to reflect,
Who comes delivering messages...
You should consider and accept.

I don't know where you are.
All my messages have been erased.
And replaced,
By question marks.
For five years I saved each one.
And the other day I awakened...
There was nothing.
I had none.
And the email we shared,
And exchanged with one another.
Is gone!
Including every address,
I hung onto has vanished!
I don't know where you are.
All my messages have been erased.
And replaced,
By question marks.
