Religion is the organization of spirituality into something that became the hand maiden of conquerors. Nearly all religions were brought to people and imposed on people by conquerors, and used as the framework to control their minds.

When theology erodes and organization crumbles, when the institutional framework of religion begins to break up, the search for a direct experience which people can feel to be religious facilitates the rise of cults.

It's The Conquerors Who Write The History
As they chased the wild bison on horse back they whooped and cheered loud
And they were great hunters so noble and proud
But now on the prairies the bison are rare
And the people who hunted them no longer there.
Of the great Northern Land the first people till the invaders came
And their tragic dispossession is a thing of great shame
Conquered and put into reservations for to grow old and die
The rights of Indigenous people to them did not apply.
It's the conquerors who write history as we have been told
And men they have murdered for Land and for Gold
But what matters most when history we trace
That a Country's first people must take pride of place.
You great country singers with your golden guitars,
You politicians and tycoons and billionaire movie stars
There once was a people far greater than you
And to Mother Nature they were far more true.
And the workings of Nature they did understand
And they were the people who cared for the Land
And they were displaced and oppressed and down trod
By those who believed in a different God.
They once were great warriors, wise, noble and proud
And they gave us Chief Seattle and wise Chief White Cloud
And their profound words of wisdom still living today
And such things of great beauty will never decay.
The truth may seem bitter but the truth we must face
That a Country's first people should take pride of place
And around the World Indigenous people are not treated well
Though they have such marvellous stories to tell.
The conquerors write the history as conquerors do
But to the true history they never are true
And the conquered the history never will write
And we are conditioned to believe that might is always right.
The changes keep happening and nothing seem to last
And the great herds of bison a thing of the past
And those who once hunted them were locked away
And in reservations were forced for to stay.
Out on the lone prairie their ghosts still reside
At midnight the hunters their spotted horses ride
As they chase the wild bison across the great plain
The past in the moonlight comes to life again.

Indians are converts
Some religions converted the people.
Some religions converted the shrines.
Some religions converted the kings.
The Vedic sect adopted local gods.
I am a descendant of forefathers
Who might be converts to many faiths.
If I segregate one on one's religion
It'd mean I insult my forefather's.

As I Look Upon The Change
My life has new meaning
As I look upon the change
Thinking will this makes me evil
Believing there is more to god
Than what religions always say
People die because of what they believe in
A story a century old
A martyr a dictator
Compete in life’s mysteries of old
Why do so many souls
Die in what they think is right
How do you say to people?
You are fighting for your life
Tears flow as people die
On both sides of the fence
Then the loss of loved ones
Turn to so much hate instead
The breeding ground of war
Is that what we live for?
Passing on to our children
A war torn field of death
Clash’s, riots an ongoing siege
Simply because
It’s what you’ve been taught to believe
I use to believe in my religion
Till I saw the terrors it breeds
No matter what year or decade
Or religion you believe
What it all comes down to
Is killing in what you believe
One simple question
Thou shalt not kill
Is that not a law?
That all religions believe
Call me what you will
An evil child with forked tongue
I believe in Humanity
One love, all equal
In our lives games of sin
For ever to be faithful, as Bob Marley said
One heart, one love, to give to those who believe in love

No Religion
We didnt know no better, and they said it could be worse
Some people thought it was blessing
Other people think that its a curse
Its a choice between fact and fiction
And the whole world has gone astray
Thats why theres no religion, no religion, no religion here today
And theres no straight answers
Of what this thing called love is all about
Some say its unconditional
Other people just remain in doubt
Well I cleaned up my diction, I had nothing left to say
Except theres no religion, no religion, no religion here today
And they ask what hate is
Its just the other side of love
Some people want to give their enemies
Everything they think that they deserve
Some say why dont you love your neighbours
Go ahead, turn the other cheek
But theres nobody on this planet that can ever be so meek
And I cant bleed for you
You have to do it your own way
And theres no religion, no religion, no religion here today
And they ask what hate is
Its just the other side of love
Some people want to give their enemies
Everything they think that they deserve
Some say why dont you love your neighbours
Go ahead, turn the other cheek
But have you ever met anybody whos ever been the meek
And its so cruel to expect the saviour to save the day
And theres no religion, no religion, no religion here today
And theres no mystery, and theres nothing hidden
And theres no religion here today
And theres no religion, no religion, no religion here today

A Story To Tell To Your Lost Civilization...
at first there was peace
trees bear fruits
that turn ripe and children
climb the trees
to gather the apples and
savor what sweetness is there
that nature
has to offer
the land is vast
the sea is immeasurable
the skies infinite
the rivers keep on running
forever
the ocean's depths and
abundance
untiring
people misunderstand what ownership is
stewardship is an alien concept
there is always the want to have
greed is cancerous
a country expands
dictators abound
conquerors become heroes
of their lands
bringing slaves and
the fortune of
others
nature is made to bow down
to caprices
whims are the rules
to destroy is to own
to abuse is to use
wars are made like the way the bombs
are stored
like the way the swords and spears
were once sharpened
to kill
there is always nothing enough
for the imperialist
nothing satisfies the conquerors
disguised as the discoverers of
the new world
and so there will always be war
rebellion will always mushroom everywhere
nothing rests
and it will always be the 'dead who can see
the end of all these wars'
at the end who wins? ah nobody
everyone perishes
and nature shall grow its roots again
to retake its long gone leaves and flowers
its green mountains its pure rivers
its clean and blue oceans
its clouds untainted by the smoke of gunpowder
the mushrooms of that nuclear warfare....

The conquerors are kings; the defeated are bandits.
Common Sense (Truth)
wars are started by men
with agendas... usually profit,
or religious reasons, or both.
the men that start these wars
seldom fight these wars...
they manipulate the masses to
do their dirty work...
these are the elite people that
control our world. their weapons
for control include:
1. poverty
2. ignorance
3. prejudice
4. religion.
if you keep the people struggling
for food and shelter, they wont have
time to stand against you.
if you keep the people ignorant, they
will blindly follow without questioning.
if you divide the people by prejudice,
they will not unite to overthrow.
if you convince them that theirs is
the only true religion, and that God
is on their side, they will commit
unspeakable acts.
the time of wars is over... there can be
no future if we continue.
we must quit chasing riches, and find a
more equitable way to share what we have.
we must be responsible for each other...
we must lay down religious pretensions,
fears, and pride, and become the spiritual
people we are called to be.
we must be human!

Rats and conquerors must expect no mercy in misfortune.
Shills
Shills of rancid lifeless priests
Indolent waves of amber hypocrisy
Religions of national honor
Ply your strife and pale armies
Here comes the fall of kings
Hide from the poor and sick
Wave your banners and flags
The hypnotized children of temples
They have chains of religion without God
Sharia law is repressive and of men
Follow men rather than love
False prophets
Only Jesus Christ sets free
Capitalism is a secular religion
My kingdom is not of this world
They try to tell you one country is better
They preach brands and money
Militarism, imperialism, colonialism
Steal the land or enslave the people
State religions are so evil
Nationalism the idolatry of power
God by the gun
Spirit of a mob
The shills of religion and states

Religion now had to have its compartment, almost its social place. The frontier had ceased to exist. And the religions it had bred were beginning slowly to die. In the old days, when men, often of little education, had needed only to declare themselves ministers, people would have seen themselves reflected in the expounders of the Word. This quality of homespun would have made the religions appear creations of a community, personal and close and inviolable. Now a certain distance was needed.
