Complacency is a state of mind that exists only in retrospective: it has to be shattered before being ascertained.

State Of Mind

You don't need to hang around
You don't need to talk right now
Gotta feeling, it's a mistake
Gotta feeling, it's gonna break
Some days, sometimes just don't feel right
Too hot to touch
It's getting too much
You know it's just a state of mind
Driving you wild
You're torn up inside
You know it's just a state of mind
State of mind
All I need is to breathe
All I need is to believe
Gotta have it, now I know
Gotta have it, take it slow
Some days, sometimes it just goes right
Too hot to touch
It's getting too much
You know it's just a state of mind
Driving you wild
You're torn up inside
You know it's just a state of mind
State of mind
State of mind
State of mind
Ahhh
Too hot to touch (Yeah)
Ahhh
(It's my state of mind)
Driving you wild
(I was driving you wild)
Too hot to touch
It's getting too much
You know it's just a state of mind
Driving you wild
You're torn up inside
You know it's just a state of mind
State of mind
State of mind
State of mind
Too hot to touch
It's getting too much
You know it's just a state of mind
Driving you wild
You're torn up inside
You know it's just a state of mind
State of mind
State of mind
State of mind
You know it's just a state of mind

What this power is, I cannot say. All I know is that it exists...and it becomes available only when you are in that state of mind in which you know EXACTLY what you want...and are fully determined not to quit until you get it.

State Of Mind

I was goin round the world
I was lookin for somewhere
I was searchin for someone
Who was gonna take me there
Didnt want to do it cause I knew what Id find
Yourre really only livin in a state of mind, yeah
I was thinkin of the past
I was tryin to rack my brain
I was looking at the future, looking at the future
I was tryin to play the game
Didnt want to do it cause I knew what Id find
Youre really only livin in a state of mind, yeah
Sometimes you get lost
Sometimes you get found
In a state of mind
Sometimes youre too high
Sometimes youre too down
Its just a state of mind
Didnt want to do it cause I knew what Id find
Youre really only livin in a state of mind, yeah
Sometimes you get lost
Sometimes you get found
In a state of mind
Sometimes youre too high
Sometimes youre too down
Its just a state of mind
You think you know it all
Then you think that you know nothing
Cant dance, cant crawl, crawl
Maybe you better forget it
Didnt want to do it cause I knew what Id find
Youre really only livin in a state of mind, yeah
Didnt want to it cause I knew what Id find
Youre really only livin in a state of mind, yeah
Didnt want to it cause I knew what Id find
Youre really only livin in a state of mind, yeah
State of mind
Its a state of mind
State of mind
State of mind
State of mind
State of mind

The Buried Secrets

With mind fickle and motive secret,
When and where and what the one did
In a love making is not disclosed,
Nor could it be ascertained by others.

Mind Help

Place the message in your mind
And reveal it to the watchers around.
Place the obsession of the mind
In the honesty of the soul, ready to explode.

Place the vision of the eyes in your brain
Where gray and white matter is to train.
Your place in soceity is only ascertained
On the health of your body and mind.

The state exists for man, not man for the state. The same may be said of science. These are old phrases, coined by people who saw in human individuality the highest human value. I would hesitate to repeat them, were it not for the ever recurring danger that they may be forgotten, especially in these days of organization and stereotypes.

On A Plateau Leaving

On a plateau leaving...
Are those who stood by to warn,
And 'suggest'...
Times to leave behind,
Limiting and upsetting pettiness...
Would overnight,
Be as useless as a waste of breath.

On a plateau leaving,
Are those who have achieved...
A higher consciousness.
And not one is looking to find,
Anyone from fading times...
Who did not have this addressed.

On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving,
Those who are commited to defeat and confine.
And...
On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving.

On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving,
Those who are commited to defeat and confine.
And...
On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving.
Yes...
On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving behind.

And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving
On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving.

My shattered dreams [A mele visuri]

My shattered dreams, which mind conceives,
Fill up my heart with woe again,
I see them all in the pale leaves
And in the sorrow of the glen.

In snow they will forever sleep,
Covered by time with its thick shawl,
My shattered dreams, which make me weep
And fill my heart with bitter gall!

When happy days, O, lovely trees,
Will give you back what you have lost,
The leaves that from your boughs were tossed,
In night's deep darkness still will freeze
My shattered dreams, which mind conceives!

The Fear Within Us

Fear is within us all
Fear exists in that dark patch of your mind

The one spoken of in whispers
Little understood

Where the boogeyman still lives
And monsters prowl the forest

The part of us where a face watches from every shadow
Where in every mirror the bloody queen lurks

A land where we get lost in the never-ending fog
You've been lost before, for haven't we all

What did you see
What dark shadows crossed your vision

Do you ever feel the biting wind, hear its howl
And remember the darkness

The mind is fragile
The court can only keep peace so long

Keep to the path, don't look back
Lest you be shattered

Shattered innocence

You shattered my innocence.
You shattered everthing good.
You shattered my way of being.
My happiness has gone.

You thought it wouldn't matter.
You thought you'd do what you like.
Not caring if you hurt me.
All you said is it was a game.

You said I'd like the game.
You said you'd teach me something new.
You certainly did that allright.
You taught me pain.

You didnt care when I cryed.
When I asked you not to you laughed.
And spat in my face.

You shattered my innocence.
You shattered my trust.
How could you do such a thing?

Your evil
Thats all I can say.
Your rotten to the core.

There exists, if I am not mistaken, an entire world which is the totality of mathematical truths, to which we have access only with our mind, just as a world of physical reality exists, the one like the other independent of ourselves, both of divine creation.

Never War

Never can a man escape the whole war,
It fights inside and has quality of us;
Understand me further when I say
That systems commend the very night.
And war has enveloped the desert
As war conquered the soul of heat.
How did the cleverness of the mind
Be ascertained by the minute men
Who rode no war for their size was too small?

Depressed Mind

Depression is a state of mind. Where it comes from, how it begins, it is us humans on whom it all depends. We are the ones to invoke it and let it control us.

Our Situations our surroundings make us depressed, when we are in such mood, we are all so stressed. Our body suffers we get sick, we get prone to diseases that never exists. How do we fight such an enemy, who lives within.

Remember health is wealth so always show your positive self. Healthy mind is so divine, one whom depression can never find. So stay healthy and live in peace. This is the mindset that depression can never beat.

The state I am in

In my periods of self-imposed isolation,
when I am in a state of being,
rather than that of action,
when my passiveness, becomes paramount,
and my ambition is reduced
to one of apathy,
when I exist as an inanimate object,
rather than an object which
reflects life,
when I am present,
but unaccounted for,
when I suffer from
sel-inflicted wounds
and wound others about me,
becoming a wall of inhumanity
that no one is able to scale,
including myself,
a solid nothing,
erected by one's own
faltering ego,
a state of inertia, that following
the laws of physics,
cannot move until acted upon
by an outside force,
(and probably not then either) ,
then I wonder,
what state is it,
that I am in?
Certainly not a vegatative state
as I would not be able to do
whatever the hell it is I am
doing now.
Certainly not a comatose state
as I would be unawake and
unaware of my surroundings.
It's possible that I could be
in such a state of mind
as to not know
just what it is that I am doing.
But that's ridiculous!
I do know what I'm doing.
So, what state am I in?

Why, Arizona, of course!

When the satisfaction or the security of another person becomes as significant to one as one's own satisfaction or security, then the state of love exists. Under no other circumstances is a state of love present, regardless of the popular usage of the term.

Broken Windows Shattered Mirrors

Broken windows shattered mirrors
The tiny slivers fall like tears
They cut me till my arms run red
They make me wish that I was dead
And though I try to carry on
I know my time here's almost gone
Broken windows shattered mirrors

Broken windows shattered mirrors
I'm surrounded by these fears
I know I shouldn't be afraid
I feel like I'm locked up in a cage
I push and pull try to get out
I scream until I just can't shout
Broken windows shattered mirrors

Broken windows shattered mirrors
I'll have bad luck seven years
I know it's just a superstition
But I also know it's pure intuition
That made me stay not fade away
So I could live another day
Broken windows shattered mirrors

Fingers & Thumbs

Don't know what you've got 'til it's gone
A hint of the scent then it's gone
Look at the state of you, you're all fingers & thumbs
So who's your latest flame
Drivin' em wild in the fast lane
Won't say i told you so, but the boy has no shame
Once when my hands were full
We were double or quits then some
Nothin' at all to show for a love so precious
Gone & blown it all, how can you say
"it doesn't matter much to me?"
A dumb mistake too much to pay
A shattered heart in love's debris
Gone & blow it all & then you say
"this can't be happening to me"
A dumb mistake too much to pay
A shattered heart in love's debris
Don't know what you've got 'til it's gone
The thrill of the chase then it's gone
Only the hurt to prove that it ever went on
And life is a wonderful thing
When you're humming the words to a love song
Do what you wanna do be who you want to be
When i'm in your arms i'm strong
There's nowhere i'd rather be
We shine for liberty, life & the pursuit of pleasure
Gone & blown it all, how can you say
"it doesn't matter much to me?"
A dumb mistake too much to pay
A shattered heart in love's debris
Gone & blown it all & then you say
"this isn't happening to me"
A dumb mistake too much to pay
A shattered heart in love's debris
And how the days have flown too few & fast
They said it wasn't meant to last
A dumb mistake too much to pay
A shattered heart in love's debris

Dancehall

You could lose your mind
easier than you would like to think
your best friend could up and leave you
playing tricks and cold deceive you
standing there people stare
let down by your own mind
Day of appreciation
for ways your mind has not yet let you down
the truth is that we will all go
maybe five minutes after the show
you know you are a shooting star
a blazing flash then gone
Are we advancing
or a collapsing visionary
are we really here
are we imaginary
as my thoughts separates
into the many frayed parts
torn shattered bits
my mind falling apart
Are we advancing
or a collapsing visionary
are we really here
are we imaginary
as my thoughts separates
into the many frayed parts
torn shattered bits
my mind falling apart
What if there was such a thing
what if theres such a thing as dependence day
there's no self congratulation
just a day of appreciation
quietly humbly
for things that have not gone wrong
Imagine the frustration
of losing bearing of the simplest thing
so come with your best
and do your worst before
you cant remember what you came for
Are we advancing
or a collapsing visionary
are we really here
are we imaginary
as my thoughts separates
into the many frayed parts
torn shattered bits
my mind falling apart
Blazing out the mains
hungry flames consume all that I see
Are we advancing
or a collapsing visionary
are we really here
are we imaginary
as my thoughts separates
into the many frayed parts
torn shattered bits
my mind falling apart
Are we advancing
or a collapsing visionary
are we really here-ac
