Never War
Never can a man escape the whole war,
It fights inside and has quality of us;
Understand me further when I say
That systems commend the very night.
And war has enveloped the desert
As war conquered the soul of heat.
How did the cleverness of the mind
Be ascertained by the minute men
Who rode no war for their size was too small?

Small Soul
Small soul’s alone in the night
It’s small
But it’s still a soul
The tiny light
That shines in the dark
Small soul glows dim in the fight
It’s small
But it’s really a soul
Though it looks weak
It’s struggling inside
Small soul keeps attracting my heart
It’s small
But it’s a beautiful soul
It may easily disappear
But it could also grow stronger

Size Doesn’t Matter
I never flatter
Size doesn’t matter!
We are so small but we have come this far
Because of our wisdom that knows no bar!
We are so small but we can understand God
Because we can make our mind extremely broad!
We are so small but we can win a zillion of hearts
Because we can be kind regardless of ifs and buts!

For Silence
I wish to be an amaranth
amidst a place
of enveloped silence, of awkwardness.
How can silence sound
deafening, or consume
one's spirit, leaving the body
weary, futile?
For silence is minute by minute serenity,
a moment of soul searching,
of pacifying temporal desires and
dreams cleansed of worldly attachments.
For silence can be nothingness
amalgamated with truth.
For silence can be stupidity,
dullness, inactivity
transfigured wisdom.
Amidst a place of enveloped silence,
of awkwardness,
i can be an amaranth,
a topaz,
a princess.

An Epitaph
Enough; and leave the rest to Fame!
'Tis to commend her, but to name.
Courtship which, living, she declined,
When dead, to offer were unkind:
Nor can the truest wit, or friend,
Without detracting, her commend.
To say--she lived a virgin chaste
In this age loose and all unlaced;
Nor was, when vice is so allowed,
Of virtue or ashamed or proud;
That her soul was on Heaven so bent,
No minute but it came and went;
That, ready her last debt to pay,
She summ'd her life up every day;
Modest as morn, as mid-day bright,
Gentle as evening, cool as night:
--'Tis true; but all too weakly said.
'Twas more significant, she's dead.

Seeking Heat!
there is a heat
inside the fire,
friction inside the match.
there are clouds
inside each raindrop,
winter snows inside each bud.
there is a joy
hidden deep in sorrow,
there is touch
inside of the lonely.
there is a need
inside each prayer,
there is a hunger
inside those who take.
there is forgiveness
inside of anger.
there is a freedom
inside each cell.
there is a sameness
inside of difference.
there is a mother
inside each man.
there is a man
inside each body,
a hint of god
inside each soul.
there is a heart
inside of each man...
a heart seeking heat!

Escape
Paint on my cruel or happy face
I hide me behind it
It takes me inside another place where no-one can find it
Escape
I get out when I can
Escape
Anytime I can
Escape
I'm crying in my beer Escape
Just get me out of here
Don't get me wrong
Don't get me right
I'm not like you are
When I get home from work at night
I'm blacker and bluer
So I escape
I get out when I can
Escape
Anytime I can
Escape
I'm crying in my beer Escape
Just get me out of here
Where am I running to?
There's no place to go
Just put on my makeup and get me to the show
Yeah
Escape
My doctor said just come around
You'll be taken care of
And while he ran my problems down
I stole his mascara
That's how I escape
I get out when I can
Escape
Anytime I can
Escape
I'm crying in my beer Escape
Just get me out of here
Escape

Under This Heat
This heat, this heat is penetrating the joints and meat
Of my corpse, later to have risen for some blind life ahead of me.
I am forgotten by most, resurrection is no crime,
Follies abound inside my soul, that readily is devoured
Like a zombie has fright, so much fright that it angers.
Vampires shall arrive for the fights, of a lifetime,
Answerable to God, for the religion is wrong, and you are wrong,
Forgetting me as I speak, launching a party of the crudeness
One asks for in the middle of the night, the night of hatred.
My corpse collapses halfway between life and death,
The death is not sudden, and the life is not exact,
Instead the ruination is within me, I am of the Undead!

That Appears to Be Your Curse
You are much too shallow,
Inexperienced and isolated...
To understand where I'm coming from!
You have no idea the quality of my dsyfunctions.
And the remarkable affects they have had,
On my perceptions.
I 'know' an experimentation of some kind has taken place.
Something that had disgraced but now doesn't.
Everyone I knew that grew up in the projects,
Have more insight today than most.
Of course some still hold onto small town antics...
However,
When we greet,
There seems a sanity about it!
And those who depicted our dilemma as abnormal,
Are the very same ones crazed today!
You figure that one out!
I don't want that to discuss.
Not with you and on my time.
You'll have to quality a justification,
For your own mental escape.
I extend my best wishes.
As I said, you are much too shallow,
Inexperienced and isolated...
To understand where I'm coming from!
You have no idea the quality of my dsyfunctions.
And the remarkable affects they have had,
On my perceptions.
I wasn't raised to believe I was 'chosen'.
I've been too blessed from the very beginning...
To realize that my siblings and I,
Are not the center of the universe.
That appears to be your curse!
As prescribed with the appropriate medications.

Escape
Escape
Escape
That one word resonates in my mind
I need an escape a reprieve from
All this energy surrounding me
Escape
Escape
I want to be let out for awhile
To be free and alone
To do what I want without interference
Escape
Escape
I don't wanna hear arguing
Or little petty problems
I want to not have to do anything
Escape
Escape
I want to Escape

The Soldier Fights
the soldier fights for the hippys rights to protest against that soldier
the soldier fights for the politions rights to send that soldier to war
the soldier fights for buisness mans rights to make money
the soldier fights for the policemans rights to arrest that soldier
the soldier fights for school kids right to know about past soldiers
the soldier fights to so that you may all sleep at night
the soldier fights for religion so that you may all belive what you wish
And yet the soldier fights on
the soldier fights for his flag, for his country, for his life
Served With A Calabash
Visit me in the Kalahari Desert and,
Come and taste my sweet love with the heat of the sun;
And there you will meet my siblings waiting to serve you.
Visit me in the Kalahari Desert and,
You will see the moon already up high in the night of my love;
For the story of love is all that i have to serve to you!
Life is very hot out here and your love will cool me down,
For it is like the story of the Bushmen in the jungle;
But slowly you will come to understand things with me.
At times, it is like the snake with seven heads;
But with the river of love that flows beside me.
YOu have to carry your mat on your shoulders along,
For i will be there always to guide you onto the paths of love;
And my love will lead you like the sugar and the honey,
For the story of love is all that i have to serve you.
Come and learn my ways on this desert!
For it is served with a calabash to keep you at home;
And my mind will be at rest always with you.

From Out Of Nowhere
[Faith no More]
Tossed into my mind, stirring the calm
You splash me with beauty
And pull me down
You come from out of nowhere
My glance turns to a stare
Obesession rules me,
I'm yours from the start
I know you see me, our eyes interlock
You come from out of nowhere
My glance turns to a stare
One minute here
And one minute there
Don't know if I'll laugh or cry
One minute here
And one minute there
And then you wave goodbye...
Sifting to the bottom,
Every day for two
All energy funnels, all becomes you
You come from out of nowhere
My glance turns to a stare
One minute here
And one minute there
Don't know if I'll laugh or cry
One minute here
And one minute there
And it hurts inside
One minute here
And one minute there
And then you wave goodbye...

Helping Tendency Of Your Relatives
The quality of the nine precious stones
is valued after properly washing the dirts;
The quality of the horse is ascertained
after mounting the horse over the saddle;
The impurities and the purity of the gold
are confirmed after melting the gold;
The thankfulness and helping tendency
of your relatives, you will come to know only
when you lost your wealth and be poor!

Nocturnal changes forM 'Lady Wennie
At fall of night the desert lies
silent. Waiting for the moon to rise
Which will reveal the muted tones
of rolling dunes and time worn stones.
This is the time small creatures stir
and seek the food which they prefer.
No longer need to hide away
from the blazing heat of the day.
They have to forage carefully
others are hunting hopefully
.Try to avoid the predators
prepared to kill without remorse
The desert lifeless through the day
by night becomes a place to prey.

I walk at night
I walk at night
Alone with the stars as my only light
Away from all the fights
Searching for a way to make it right
Tearing apart my mind on the inside
For a key that I hope to find
A way to get through the lonley nights
And get over the phone fights
Stepping in the moon light
thoughts racing in this sick mind
Got sick of all your white lies
You lie until your tounge tied
All I can do is hope you find the light

Change has come indeed, but it is becoming increasingly difficult
The changes we were looking for
Have indeed come
But with a bigger bang
And bitter challenges like
Economy
Education
Healthcare
Hou sing and what not
Any amount of helping
The industries and others
Seems to be not capable of
Fetching the results
We would like to see
There is no point
Looking for changes outside
Now we need to change within
Oh, fellow countrymen
We need to come together
Share the resources
And that is only way
To combat the challenges
Already existing and
In the making
If you love your country
And if you want that back
On the original track of
Growth, Development and Opportunities
Try to understand this
And put the same into practice
If you visualise your nation
As a mansion
Its strength depends on the
Quality of the bricks
You used in building the same
The bricks of a nation
Are nothing but the families
It is holding
Family is a small organisational system
Comprising blood related individuals
And the quality of the family
Is the bonding between members of the family
And their quality and value systems
If you want to do any good to the country
You need to improve the bonding
Within your family and
The quality of family members
Any attempt in this direction
Will bring all members
Of your family together
And this will make
You understand the strengths
And weaknesses of
Every one of you
Your determination to be
Together will make you
Share the resources
Which will make you
Understand your
New strengths and hidden potentials
Your being together bonded
Is of a great help to the nation
As your resouces' consumption
Will drastically come down
You will not be needing
That many houses
As your house-occupancy
Will be far far better
Your energy bills
Will be only a portion
Of your present bills
You may not be needing
That many cars
I know, it will be difficult
To get into this mode of thinking
As all these years
You have been free
And enjoying privacy
This suggestion will
Definitely rob you off some of the
Freedom and privacy
But when your very
Survival and existence
Is under threat
I am sure you will not mind
Compromising
And again you will understand
That freedom does not mean carefree
Real freedom means 'carefully free'
Privacy is more like give and take
If you do not damage other's privacy
Your privacy is assured
Give a chance to your family bond
Face the challenges effectively
And help your nation succeed

Small People
we are the small people
we take the size of the dusts
and termites
down to the minute cells
the virus
and the neurons...
we have the capacity to hurt
without your knowing
so be cautious
try using the microscopes before
you say you are taking control
we are the small people
we know you but you do not know us
