Not Counting You
When loving turns to parting
Im always the first to leave
Cause when it comes to heartaches
Id rather give than to receive
Ive never cried myself to sleep
Just praying Ill get through
Ive never lost at love not counting you
(chorus)
Not counting you Ive never had a heartache
Not counting you I never have been blue
Theres no exceptions to the rule
Ive never been nobodys fool
Ive never lost at love not counting you
Ive never got down on my knees
And asked the lord above
If he would only bring to me
The one Im dreaming of
Begging to be taken back
And swearing Ill be true
Has never crossed my mind not counting you
*chorus*
Theres no exceptions to the rule
Ive never been nobodys fool
Ive never lost at love not counting you
Theres no exceptions to the rule
Ive never been nobodys fool
Ive never lost at love not counting you
No, Ive never lost at love not counting you

Nature gives us all, including Prof. Lorentz, surprises. It was very quickly found that there are many exceptions to the rule of splitting of the lines only into triplets.

Patience Given
Patience given,
To those dealing with their insecurities...
Have several exceptions!
Patience given to a child,
Learning when and how to use a toilet.
Patience given to a child,
Going to school for the first time.
Patience given to a child,
Learning how to share.
Patience given to a child,
When left with a babysitter.
Patience given to a child,
When learning the difference...
Between telling a lie and being honest.
Patience given to a child,
When being taught to be responsible.
Patience given,
To those dealing with their insecurities...
Have several exceptions!
Extenuating exceptions beyond the call of reason,
Requires one to ignore with an ability...
That preserves a peace of mind one wishes,
To keep and maintain undisturbed...
By those who are,
Disturbed by their expectations to be exceptions...
To the rule.

The uncommon to be common
There are exceptions to rules.
When exceptions exceeds in use,
Rules relegate to exceptions
And exceptions stay as rules.
The uncommon one frequenting,
The common one is replaced
By the uncommon to be common.
Marriage is soon to be uncommon.

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXXV: Rules part 2
What’s the rule, when money could buy
What’s the rule, when power is absolute
What’s the rule, when feeling involved
What’s the rule, when pride is important
What’s the rule, when look affects
What’s the rule, when victory is a must
What’s the rule, when worlds are vain
What’s the rule, people don’t change
What’s the rule, when good is not always right
What’s the rule, freedom is misunderstood
What’s the rule, anger conquers
What’s the rule, past neglected
What’s the rule, crime that committed

Exceptions are not always the proof of the old rule; they can also be the harbinger of a new one.

Born To Rule
Lay down your arms this night
Surrender to the power
Embracing your metal heart
On your final walk through the snow
A hammer made of steel
From the river of blood
With magic, forged in flames
Delusions, a curse of the damned
What do you see?
Imaginary visions or reality
When you're free
Then you'll see that you are bound to rule
Rule - Born - Rule
We were Born to Rule
Rule - Born - Rule
We were Born to Rule
Born to Rule - Born to Rule
We're Born to Rule forever more
Born to Rule - Born to Rule
We're Born to Rule forever
The revolution forced us all to heed the final call
And if tomorrow never comes
Then we will strike the hammer down
Rule - Born - Rule
We were Born to Rule
Rule - Born - Rule
We were Born to Rule
Born to Rule - Born to Rule
We're Born to Rule forever more
Born to Rule - Born to Rule
We're Born to Rule forever
Forever, forever Rule!

Little Guitars
Senorita I'm in trouble again
and I can't get free
(Senorita) You're exactly what the doctor ordered, come
on talk to me
(Ah) Can't crow before I'm out of the woods
But there's
exceptions to the rule
(Ah-ah) Senorita, do you need a friend? I'm in love
with you
Catch as catch, catch as catch can
Anybody in their right mind could see,
it's you and me
Oooh-ooo-ooh
Oooh-oooh
You say you're lonesome, just getting by
But you turn your eyes from
me
Be sure you're hurting long before you fly 'cause, you've got me
Catch as catch, catch as catch can
Anybody in their right mind could see,
you and me
Catch as catch, catch as catch can
When I see you, all your
little guitars sing to me
I can see you don't know which way to turn
But the sun still
shines
(Senorita) Don't you know that you can dance with me, anytime?
(Ah)
Can't crow before I'm out of the woods
There's exceptions to the
rule
(Ah-ah) Senorita, do you need a friend? I'm in love with you
Oooh-ooo-ooh
Oooh-oooh
Oooh-ooo-ooh
Oooh-oooh
Oooh-ooo-ooh
Oooh-oooh

Surfers Rule
Its a genuine fact that the surfers rule
Its plastered on the walls all around the school now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Becoming just as common as a golden rule now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Take it or leave it but you better believe it
Surfers rule
They burnt it in the grass on the football field now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Just try to make them cool it and theyll never yield now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Take what youve heard now and go pass the word now
Surfers rule
Its a genuine fact that the surfers rule
A woody full of surfers pullin long side a wagon
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
The hodaddies sittin while the surfers are draggin
The surfers are winnin and they say as theyre grinnin
Surfers rule
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)

Let Love Rule
Love is gentle as a rose
And love can conquer any war
It's time to take a stand
Brothers and sisters join hands
We got to let love rule
Let love rule
We got to let love rule
Let love rule
Love transcends all space and time
And love can make a little child smile
Oh can't you see
This won't go wrong
But we got to be strong
We can't do it alone
We got to let love rule
Let love rule
We got to let love rule
Let love rule
Let love rule
You got to got to got to
Let love rule
You got to got to got to

With a Doing of Their Best to Escape Fate
Evolving.
Evolution.
A change from that,
Which does not remain the same.
An arrangement of sorts,
Has been ordained.
And although everything is involved,
That which is evolving...
There is a desire by many,
To keep revolved this reality.
As if to spin on a cyclical wheel.
To keep a sameness unchanged.
A sameness for some that has appeal.
A sameness for those they wish kept real.
There are those believing,
They have been chosen...
To be the exceptions to the laws,
That only NATURE rules.
As if Nature can be convinced...
Tricked and fooled,
By those choosing not to participate.
With a doing of their best to escape fate.
In a contemplation that would make,
Nature...
Their bait!

An Earnest Prayer to God
God, rule my tongue, my works, my thought;
God, rule my mind, body, and heart;
God, rule all gifts from You I got;
God, rule my will, forget-me-not.
God, rule all things, my every part;
God, rule my actions from the start;
God, rule my soul, guide it with art;
God, rule my life till I depart!

The Piles Of Folders
today i am bringing another folder
at home
i am supposed to read them
ah, all these lives of people that i do not
personally know, the things that they keep
on doing against each other
these cains and abels
these black sheep and fauns
these sphinx and sea monsters
i will be learning their minds and studying
how to read them
how they speak and how they
justify evil
how they explain like magicians
taking rabbits from black hats
and converting newspaper cuttings
into money bills
it will be fun, i suppose, and i will be spending
more time than watching The Piano
on tv,
i will be lost in these labyrinths of motives
and acts
people kill sometimes for no reason at all
i am taught that
and some people admit what heinous crimes
other people do
for nothing at all
there are subsumed stories
exceptions to the rule of human behaviors
and there will be exceptions to the exceptions too
ah, my mind is strangulated by these criminals
my thoughts becoming too convoluted in
a tunnel of plots
but i will not be dead
neither shall i be intimidated
i will not quit
in fact, i will have my last laugh
giving what is due to the other
clapping for the innocent
giving justice
letting the criminal go on the basis
of reasonable doubts
crying with the widows
and consoling the orphans
talking to God
and making judgments for the poor
and then at night
i sleep without any pillow at all
too tired
i sleep on my hands
on the headboard light
unswitched
off.

Exceptions Made To Created Rules
Exceptions made to created rules,
Has established the need.
For a Department of Addendums.
Making the following of rules,
Foolish.
For anyone attempting to understand,
The purpose of their origin.
Since the following of rules legitimately,
Hasn't made those values and standards...
Many proclaim as adding a quality to their lives,
A cost effective proposition.
In fact,
Prior to those exceptions made,
One's life lived had been with less complications.
Today,
Those complications are needing interpretations...
For those seeking explanations,
Whether to live basically with no rules to follow.
Or demand more addendums,
To define what basic means.
And which lawful rule is broken,
If one decides living a life that 'is' basic
Will not have them arrested for indecent exposure.
Since many will protest they have become offended.
By someone daring to live,
Without attempting to make impressions.

I Work To No Rule
I work on no rule
just my quality control
I follow beat my soul
any rule I follow
any rule I choose
any rule I create
even an age dusty old rule
to prove I can conform write
if I want to recognize a rule

Born To Reflect Exceptions
Poisoned by their own habits,
And a lifestyle they value...
As a standard to achieve,
Has them in dire need of resuscitation.
And 'hopefully' some of those ideals preached,
Will be given a priority as a rule...
Without anyone believing,
They've been born to reflect exceptions.
Hopefully the prospects to revive them,
Using resuscitation with fresh air to breathe...
Will awakened them to see the light!
God knows it is bright enough.
