With 500 channels and the Internet available, you'd think a candidate could get the word out.

This is a race in a heavily Democratic state that, for a Republican candidate, will require full-time devotion in order to win... I could not be a senator and a father during this campaign. I could only be a candidate.

Changing Channels
Changing channels
By: jimmy buffett, mac mcanally
1989
Girl of a thousand faces
From a long line of basket cases
Daughter of a fortune teller
Oh the lovely isabella
Chorus:
Shes changing channels
Stayin on her toes
Shes just changing channels
As she goes
This place is full of beachhead sailors
Fishermen and old retailers
Simple lives are so deep seated
And history always gets repeated
Some folks see a birds eye view
Others havent got a clue
Some will go and some will stay
It doesnt matter anyway
Chorus:
They are changing channels
Crazy girls and boys
Theyll be changing channels
Changing toys
Survivors of tidal waves
Children of former slaves
Strange how they all behave
Like its another world
Theres an island in the ocean
Where the people stay in motion
Somewhere on the old gulf stream
Do they live or did I dream
Chorus:
They were changing channels
Waitin for their sails to fill
Theyll be changing channels
Always will
Theyll be changing channels
Waitin for their sails to fill
Theyll be changing channels
Always will
To joseph campbell and bruce chadwick whose words and thoughts were an
Inspiration. to charlie allen and lt. jim amos anderson whose spirits
Linger with me though their days on the planet were far too few.

Night Wanderer...
in utter silence
on times when you have nothing to say
it is not only your mouth
that is shut up
it is the whole you
it is like you slept the whole day
and wake up the whole night
with no one beside you
you wake up
finding yourself alone
busy yourself with
a lot of channels on tv
not completing any show
going to the kitchen
eating breakfast at 2 a.m.
surfing the internet
without a definite subject matter
to focus on
just you and the monitor
eye to eye....

During a political campaign everyone is concerned with what a candidate will do on this or that question if he is elected except the candidate; he's too busy wondering what he'll do if he isn't elected.

Candidate
Inside every teenage girl there's a fountain
Inside every young pair of pants there's a mountain
Inside every mother's eyes is tommy tinkrem's bed
Inside every candidate waits a grateful dead
I make it a thing, when i'm on my own to relieve myself
I make it a thing, when i gazelle on stage to believe in myself
I make it a thing, to glance in window panes and look pleased with myself
Yeah, and pretend i'm walking home
I took it so bad, i sat in the correction room
Took me a fag, and a kick in the moon
Well, i ain't gonna suck no radar wing
Because inside this tin is tin
Would you like to techno-plate cause i'm your candidate
Oh yeah
It's a matter of life
And the way you walk, you've got a brylcream queen
It's a matter of tact
In the things you talk, that keeps his passport clean
A matter of fact
That a cock ain't a cock on a twelve inch screen
So i'll pretend i'm walking home
You don't have to scream a lot to keep an age in tune
You don't have to scream a lot to predict monsoons
You don't have to paint my contact black
Now i've hustled a pair of jeans
Do i have to give your money back when i'm the fuhrerling
I'll make you a deal
I'll say i came from from earth and my tongue is taped
I'll make you a deal
You can get your kicks on the candidate
I'll make you a deal
For your future's sake, i'm the candidate
Let's pretend we're walking home
Uh-huh, uh-huh
I'm the candidate
I'm the candidate
Vote now for the candidate

Basically what they're saying is, if you want to be on TV, if you want to be a credible candidate, you've got to buy ads. And if you're not buying ads, you're not a credible candidate, we don't cover you.

Today... 'The Word
Word of love and the Word made flesh
Word incarnate forever blessed
Word of life and the Word of light
Word of power and Word of might.
Word that was spoken, Word of the Lord
Word of the Law and the Word of God
Word of peace and Word eternal
Word of truth and last Word of all.
Word of wisdom and the Word of healing
Word from heaven, a Word so appealing
Word fulfilling the Word of prophecy
Word of the Spirit and Word of destiny.
Word of exhortation and Word of grace
Word of encouragement and Word of faith
Word of promise and a Word of insight
Word from the beginning and Word of delight.
Word of knowledge and a Word of boldness
Word of peace and the Word of righteousness
Word of the covenant and Word of love
Word of the Father from heaven above.
(see also the additional information in the Poet's notes box)
The Word
Find the word, understand the word,
Depend on the word;
The word is heaven and space, the word the earth,
The word the universe.
The word is in our ears, the word is on our tongues,
The word the idol.
The word is the holy book, the word is harmony,
The word is music.
The word is magic, the word the Guru.
The word is the body, the word is the spirit, the word is being,
The word Not-being.
The word is man, the word is woman,
The Worshipped Great.
The word is the seen and unseen, the word is the existent
And the non-existent.
Know the word, says Kabir,
The word is All-powerful.
57 Channels
I bought a bourgeois house in the hollywood hills
With a truckload of hundred thousand dollar bills
Man came by to hook up my cable tv
We settled in for the night my baby and me
We switched 'round and 'round 'til half-past dawn
There was fifty-seven channels and nothin' on
Well now home entertainment was my baby's wish
So i hopped into town for a satellite dish
I tied it to the top of my japanese car
I came home and i pointed it out into the stars
A message came back from the great beyond
There's fifty-seven channels and nothin' on
Well we might'a made some friends with some billionaires
We might'a got all nice and friendly if we'd made it upstairs
All i got was a note that said "bye-bye john
Our love is fifty-seven channels and nothin' on"
So i bought a .44 magnum it was solid steel cast
And in the blessed name of elvis well i just let it blast
'til my tv lay in pieces there at my feet
And they busted me for disturbing the almighty peace
Judge said "what you got in your defense son?"
"fifty-seven channels and nothin' on"
I can see by your eyes friend you're just about gone
Fifty-seven channels and nothin' on...

Internet Terrorists
The internet is a lovely place,
with it you can make friends
all over the world.
You can travel with it to countries
you will never be able to see,
talk to their people,
and even make new friends there.
Like with everything,
there is good and bad.
You get a few who want to spoil it
for all the rest.
They call themselves jokers and such.
I call them internet terrorists.
They come in different guises,
spammers, and pornographers to name but two,
but the worst of the bunch
is the virus constructors.
We’ve all been hit,
maybe even more than once
by these terrorists of the internet,
and as each day passes
a new virus is produced
somewhere by there internet terrorist,
who just want to ruin every bodies lives,
and take away their enjoyment.
Why I am writing this,
my computer was stuck today
by one of these insane lunatic
and their silly games.
It is no fun waiting hours on end
for the anti-virus protection
to sort the problem out,
given to you by some faceless lout
called an internet terrorist.

Nothing Will Be As Wonderful
Nothing will be as wonderful, as that spring had been
the trees were full of flowers row upon row
the water in the channels reflected bright like glass
in the distance seagulls turned around a ship’s mast
flew away in lines above us.
Nothing will be as wonderful, as that spring had been
where your hand had fitted fine and precisely into mine
where I fell more intimately in love with you
the water in the channels reflected bright like glass
we had seen an otter splashing at rocks in the sea
while the boat floated recoiling over the sea.
Nothing will be as wonderful, as that spring had been
where now I reach in vain for you
and forever you are separated from me,
the water in the channels reflects bright like glass
while the hot spring rain, wash away my tears
with dire pain cutting through me;
nothing will be as wonderful, as that spring had been
the water in the channels reflects bright like glass.

Www And Cute Puppies
WWW. And Cute Puppies
Our new deity, the internet, knows everything, It can be switched
on and off, but what we have seen and read, stay with us- dug
deep down in our souls. Truth has become a lie and a fib truth.
This cannot go on there can only be one reality, the official one;
anything else is sedition. The internet has to be harnessed in layers
of dogma – you are not permitted to view this site-unless you are
a high techno prince and need the whole picture. This is for your
sake, because you don’t understand and may well believe that
no plane crashed on the Pentagon and the war in Afghanistan is
a sham. Censorship is an ugly word, but we must help you to see
the light in the maze of information, channel you to the right path
to the trivial and healthy pornography…amen.

I am the Internet zombie
I am the Internet zombie
I have no heart
Because no-one
Talks to me
I have no ears
My hands are out
In front of me
Com Zombie
I do not like sky
Or fresh air
Just the bright screen
In front of me
I am the Internet zombie
I do not eat
I do not leave
My office bedroom
I do not sleep
Instead I zzz the screen
Just read me
I am the Internet zombie
