I wish we'd never got divorced. He and I both wish we'd never got divorced, but we did. I wish I could go back and be the bride again, but I can't.

This Eternal Marriage
This eternal marriage
It is one of force, of no choice
One of irresistible destiny
How can we get divorced forever?
This eternal marriage
One gets into long before birth
No escape route from it, no alternative
How can we get divorced forever?
This eternal marriage
Can never be denied, no fugitives
Unborn, born, young, old, man, woman
There is no selection when time comes
How can we get divorced forever?
This eternal marriage
The undeniable beckon of the husband
During the day, the night, at any time
Medical technologies notwithstanding
How can we get divorced forever?
This eternal marriage
It is indeed the mother of all sufferings
The river of tears never run dry
The broken hearts never get mended
The gaps of those called are never refilled
How can we get divorced from this cruel marriage?

When a divorced man marries a divorced woman, there are four people in that marital bed.

Maybe it's because my mother divorced and my grandmother divorced, so maybe I'm frightened deep down. But then I also feel there is no real need. Why do I need to get married? To reassure me? No I don't need reassurance.

I was married awfully young and I felt trapped. My wife had been divorced and all the time we were married we were out of the Church. It wasn't until we were divorced that we became good Catholics again.
How can they beat me? I've been struck by lightning, had two back operations, and been divorced twice.

Enforced With A Focus Fixed
Being alone and wishing to be,
With an acknowledgement of it.
I chose to experience removing myself from limits.
And with the doing of this helped me to realize,
I depended on the feeding of my weaknesses.
And when I faced this doing to prove I could do...
With a self examination to improve,
I became enforced with a focus fixed upon it.
I had to divorce from my emotions then too sensitive.
And with a taking I did...
I took the oars to row my floating boat back to shore,
To never again ignore those obstacles.
Being alone and wishing to be,
With an acknowledgement of it.
I chose to experience...
Distance!
And I became enforced with a focus fixed.
Divorced from my emotions then too sensitive,
I became enforced with a focus fixed.
With a focus fixed.
And with a focus fixed...
I divorced from my emotions,
Then too sensitive.

I look back to when I got divorced in the late 1970s. When that happened, I was so broken up. After that, I decided to seek God for my life and my next marriage.

The Swan I Married Became a Moose
Crusted mustard breath,
I awakened to...
When I loved you.
String beans on your teeth,
I thought divine.
One time.
But when we got divorced,
I forced myself to really see...
How the Swan I married,
Became a Moose!
A big and wide behind,
I didn't mind to follow.
I thought it fantastic,
To climb on top.
When we made our version,
Of love.
But when we got divorced,
I forced myself to really see...
How the Swan I married,
Became a Moose!
I saw you recently,
I did not recognize you.
My eyes laid on your breasts,
And hips so fine.
But then you reminded me,
Of my ignorance.
And what that did to you.
You then left me looking stunning!
And I felt such the fool!
Crusted mustard breath,
I awakened to...
When I loved you.
String beans on your teeth,
I thought divine.
One time.
But when we got divorced,
I forced myself to really see...
How the Swan I married,
Became a Moose!
And that 'moose' today...
I wish I had not abused!
'Wow, dude?
WHO was that gorgeous woman you tried to hit on?
She's hot! '
That 'was' my ex-wife!
'Yeah, right.
Then one of us is a big liar.
You told me your ex-wife
Could be a side attraction at a circus! '
That was my ex-wife!
'Okay. Snap out of it! '
That was my ex-wife.
'Man, you okay?
Hey...
We all got our fantasies, right? '
Seriously,
That WAS my ex-wife!

If She were my Daughter
I’m a real estate man
In a suburban wasteland
And I’ve opened many doors in my time.
A lifetime of regrets,
But I cannot forget
What she said to me over the line.
“ If I was your daughter, and getting divorced”
What would you tell me to do?
“With two children at home
Abandoned, alone”
Do I sell out or stay? ”
“What to do? ”
Her husband had left her
Pregnant, adrift.
with their five year old son at her side.
Post partum, alone
She’s on the phone
What should I tell her to do.?
The house had a mortgage
Perhaps “under water”
But the debt service-
that she could do.
She had a good job
And in spite of that slob
She was one girl who could see it through.
“ If I was your daughter, and getting divorced”
What would you tell me to do?
“With two children at home
Abandoned, alone”
Do I sell out or stay? ”
“What to do? ”
I told her to stay, there was no other way
After taxes, its cheaper than rent
She would have some hard times
And be house poor besides-
But the schools here are better for them.
Back in the depression,
When things were the worst,
Couples fought hard to stay true..
But it seems nowadays
Nearly one in two strays
And everything’s falling apart.

Since I Am Single, Divorced AND Live Alone
Since I am single, divorced AND live alone,
To love every moment of it.
I am 'suppose' to have the sexual appetite,
Of a gutter whore.
I am 'suppose' to have anybody and anything,
Coming in and out of my front and back door.
AND...have issues with drugs and/or alcohol.
Because my loneliness sickens me,
And I numb my head to get away from it all.
I do admit...
Of having 'had' experimented sexually.
Being the only one on Earth to have ever done this.
And know how to roll a 'joint' to perfection.
I am 'higher' without doing that than I have ever been.
I 'might' open a bottle of beer to finish it the next day.
However...
Today,
And for many years...
My life would bore the probings of a Pope.
No joke.
There are more things going on in places,
Where people go to pray...
I would 'never' think about doing in my wildest dreams.
And my neighbors when they see me ask,
'Where have you been? We don't see you anymore! '
I respond with the deepest of shared respect...
'I am either writing, exercising or meditating.'
And even they raise an eyebrow.
As if I lie.
Even my doctors when I visit,
Seem to be over excited to examine me.
I do not exaggerate.
Since I am single, divorced AND live alone,
To love every moment of it.
I sometimes get a bit reluctant to admit,
I can not be more happier.
And that is 'legit'.
I don't have to be bothered to have a single argument,
Even with myself.
AND...
I refuse to feel guilty when I am sitting alone,
Enjoying every bit of my peace.
I 'know' I am deserving,
Because I have earned every dropp of it...
I will not resist.
Since I am single, divorced AND live alone,
To love every moment of it.
I am 'suppose' to have the sexual appetite,
Of a gutter whore.
And since I don't...
I don't imagine that anymore.
And when someone comes to knock on my door?
I KNOW they are looking for someone else.
'You've got TOYS don't you?
You have got to have TOYS.'
NO! I do not.
And just what kind of 'toys' do you imply I have?

Let It Drop
You were married at eighteen and,
You had your first child at nineteen;
But you were divorced at twenty!
So try to learn from your mistakes in this world.
Let it dry on me and let me learn from your mistakes,
With interactions and experiences to guide me on;
For it is the passionate love of nature tha draws me to you,
And like what occurred to you in those days.
Genetic disposition,
The first was like a lion!
But i am here to heed to your demand,
And like a quality sounds-system playing love tunes.
There are twelve hours with the daylight,
But you were married earlier and divorced earlier too!
So take a graphic details about your past and,
Learn more from your pelvic exercises.
Let it dropp and let me learn,
For the Golden Stool is a symbol of deity;
But this early divorce should rather teach you for the better,
For you are still young.

But i luv her till death do us part
Though she divorced my pop the hard way
Back in nineteen "yassey" for the past sixteen years
