Tense
I know not
What is tense
I know
Tense has no tense.
Tense for tense
With no time
With no form
I am above tense.

Attitude for justice
I am at ease to hate but tense when hated.
I am at ease to love but tense when rivaled.
I am at ease to seek but tense when rejected.
I am at ease to cuckold but tense when cuckolded.
Can there be attitude for justice?

Some Are Less Tense
Time bound, track bound, a runner is tense.
Time bound, task bound, a worker is tense.
Odd bound, risk bound, a master is tense.
Failure not minded, some are less tense.

Future Tense
(myles goodwyn)
Published by northern goody two tunes, ltd./capac - ascap
Each moments just a reflex
Response is just a motion
The pressure never ends baby
I hope it dont drive me crazy
I dont wanna be a poor boy
It dont help to say gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme
I aint foolin myself now
All I know is what I feel
I know I dont like it
You cant disagree
Come on, say itll be alright
I say yeah, yeah, yeah
Future tense, gone too far
Future tense, a world apart
Future tense, more than a feeling in my heart
Oh yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I feel a little unbalanced
Between the pros and the con men
I try for satisfaction
You always let it slide
Every day is like the last day
Whatever happened to 50, 50, 50, 50
I dont have a solution
All I know is what I feel baby
I heard about the good life
Id like to give it a try
They say its gonna be alright
I say yeah, yeah, yeah
Future tense, is what I feel
Future tense, is what I see
Future tense, as much for you as it is for me
Oh yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
If you dont like somebody
Say leave me alone
Its just like a bad time
You have to make good on your own
Were racing through time now
Its all hit and run
You say its gonna be alright
I say yeah, yeah, yeah
Future tense, weve gone too far
Future tense, a world apart
Future tense, more than a feelin in my heart
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
No (yeah), no (yeah), no (yeah), oh no

Past Tense
long, long time ago
in the past tense of my life
there was once a rosey rose
with a beauty sharper than a knife
spoiled by every dropp of rain
on her petals so reddish as blood
playful in such childish vain
though never she had to leave her bud
day and night are leaving
but the rose didn't move
and here I'm sleeping
hoping by the morrow
I would get a move
the wisdom it says by virtue
this rose shall live and live along
as long the sun is singing golden
and the rain is playing its own song
but in case the light becomes so dim
and the weather helps not the eye
standing shall not be that rose's stem
and the whole thing shall be just a lie
day and night are leaving
but the rose didn't move
and here I'm sleeping
hoping by the morrow
I would get a move
but for some reason I cannot find
my eyes closed and once open again
to find myself moveless in bound
without a feeling of the world of insane
but thank to the Lord of heavens in up
my head is beside a rosey rose in here
even though my heart is going to stop
my rose with me got me out of fear
day and night are leaving
but the rose didn't move
and here I'm sleeping
hoping by the morrow
I would get a move
sleepless nights and days
how long did I spend in there
my tears are going down alone
but so the rose stayed to me so near
and yet when people go alone
and to me never get back again
my rose is there bending down
swore that she'll never leave me again
day and night are leaving
but the rose didn't move
and here I'm sleeping
hoping by the morrow
I would get a move
by the sounds of the angels
the petals dropped on my cheek
and when my soul is roaming
doesn't know what I have to seek
comes again my rose from heaven
and to me gives a shining salute
I'm never lonely as she was saying
and my to keep faith in her so absolute
day and night are leaving
but the rose didn't move
and here I'm sleeping
hoping by the morrow
I would get a move
Thus, goes my story
of that rose's glory
and from that sand
shall I not get stand
but to say goodbye
O ye passer by
once in past tense of my life
I had a rose that was living by
day and night are leaving
but the rose didn't move
and here I'm sleeping
hoping by the morrow
I would get a move...

Mensuration
How you dare
And comforward
To enquire
About tense
Where there is
No sense
Where there is
No fence
And you know
I am in tense
When there is
No sense
And you know
I am always
In the world of
Mensuration of poems.

A Sleeping Beauty
the sky's beauty
is seen when the world is sleeping
the mind's beauty
is seen when the man is sleeping
the man's beauty
is seen when his fear is sleeping
the life's beauty
is seen when evil is sleeping
the mother's beauty
is seen when your age is sleeping
the wife's beauty
is seen when your right over her is sleeping
THE WORLD'S BEAUTY
IS SEEN WHEN NATIONALISM IS SLEEPING

Sleeping Girl
from without, from a child
in this location, the forces conspire
vigilant fire, expectation
sleeping girl, i wish you could tell
this violation
sleeping girl, i want you you to smile
confirmation
moment of truth
know what she says
i cant take it
i wanted the truth
but i know i can play, this location
sleeping girl, you know her so well
in?
sleeping girl, i want to you tell me
conversation
sleeping girl, you know that you will
communication
sleeping girl, i want you to smile
confirmation
sleeping girl, you know her so well
in?
sleeping girl, i want you tell me
communication
sleeping girl, you know that you will
vindication
sleeping girl, i want you smile
confirmation
i, i, i..
i, i, i..(low voices)

When You're Sleeping
The sun came up
Desperate, desperate
The stars above
Held you back
Once again
Half way here
Half way here they whisper
You talk so much sense
When you're sleeping
When you're sleeping
And you share all the secrets
And the mystery
When you're sleeping
I saw your tears
Violet, violet
And it's been years
The sky's been crying for you
I found out
Beautiful things about you
You talked so much sense
When you're sleeping
When you're sleeping, yeah
And you share all your secrets
And the mystery
When you're sleeping
So you go and wonder
Where you wander
Lose yourself to take us higher
And I'll be waiting
For you when you're down
You talk so much sense
When you're sleeping
When you're sleeping, yeah
And you share all the secrets
And the mystery
When you're sleeping

Be sincere
The child is sincere in what it does;
With no goal set, it will not be tense.
Man is serious in what he does;
With a goal set, he will be tense.
Be sincere rather than serious;
While in action, you live your life.

Over A Cup Of Coffee (Rondine)
Tense, jittery over a cup of coffee
They talked for long hours
A coffee dropp bored of hours
Told the lady with a cup of coffee
'My lady, finish your coffee
A bored dropp on lips yours
Tense, jittery'
'Not mine'said the lady with coffee
'Fault is his wasting hours
Blot or break..his settling hours
So are we and this cup of coffee
Tense, jittery'

Sleeping Single
Heres the house.
Heres the city and the stream.
Heres the father to my dream.
Heres the lost and lonely look in your eyes.
When you leave I will break down and cry.
Sleeping single -
I will wait for you.
Im sleeping single -
til you change your mind.
Sleeping single -
I will wait for you til time
Has gone by.
Ill pay the price
For all the love you poured like rain
toujours lamour over again,
But the midnight chills are getting so rough
And the bed is big enough for both of us.
Sleeping single -
I would die for you.
Im sleeping single -
Wont you change your way.
Sleeping single -
I will pray for you to stay,
He-he-hey...
He-he-hey...

Sleeping together
Sleeping together, yet being alone
This soliloquy has nothing to do with sex
It’s more ramblings, about cuddling, and just lying unconscious
And about intimacy, about sharing morning breath.
It’s about spooning, hugging, sharing the covers
And most of us have these nighttime pleasures to own
While many others, and I’m sure there are many
Are sleeping together, yet being alone.
Sleeping together is a thing based in the primeval
In the litter, in the nest, in the pack
The piling upon, over and under and among
One’s brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers
All sleeping together, never alone or lonely.
At any time 'lonely' can start and grow like a cancer
So nestle up, cling tightly, so you’ll never be
Sleeping together, yet being alone

Wake Not My Sleeping Child
Wake not my sleeping child
This world awaits not thy vision,
Talk not my sleeping child
This world listens to no one,
Move not my sleeping child
This world senses every vibration!
Think not my sleeping child
This world is void of thoughts.
Live not my sleeping child,
This world offers nothing but death!
Lie in my arms in perfect numbness…
This world will spare you its camaraderie!

Sleeping at last
Sleeping at last, the trouble and tumult over,
Sleeping at last, the struggle and horror past,
Cold and white, out of sight of friend and of lover,
Sleeping at last.
No more a tired heart downcast or overcast,
No more pangs that wring or shifting fears that hover,
Sleeping at last in a dreamless sleep locked fast.
Fast asleep. Singing birds in their leafy cover
Cannot wake her, nor shake her the gusty blast.
Under the purple thyme and the purple clover
Sleeping at last.

If Im Sleeping
I saw you cross the crowded room, you were lookin my way
I dont believe in lady luck, or what the cards portray
But I could see your shining light, and Im in disarray
Chorus:
If Im sleeping, dont wake me up, if Im sleeping
If Im sleeping, dont wake me up, if Im sleeping
I thought Id better break the ice, and started moving your way
I lost direction, the room got crowded, so I must have gone astray
I still dont know how it happened, theres only me to blame
Chorus
I dont understand it, what is happening, what is happening
Its not the way we planned it, what is happening, take it away
(solo)
I dont understand it, what is happening, what is happening
Its not the way we planned it, what is happening, so take it away
Chorus
If Im sleeping, dont wake me up, if Im sleeping, leave me alone
If Im sleeping, if Im sleeping, why dont you leave me alone...

No life is tensionless.
Limit of time makes you tense.
Limit of space makes you tense.
Birth to death is your time.
Matter around you is space.
You cannot escape tension.
With your will, you can lighten.

Sleeping To Dream (Live @ Java Joes - 06.27.02)
words by jason mraz
music by jason mraz & peter stuart
I'm dreaming of sleeping next to you I'm feeling like a lost little boy in a brand new town
I'm counting my sheep and each one that passes is another dream to ashes
and they all fall down.
As I lay me down tonight,
I close my eyes and what a beautiful sight
I'm sleeping to dream about you
I'm so tired of having to live without you
So I'm sleeping to dream about you and I'm so tired
I found myself in the riches (Your eyes, your lips, your hair.) Well you were everywhere
But I woke up in the ditches. I hit the light and I thought you might be here
but you were nowhere. You were nowhere at home.
As I lay me back to sleep
Lord I pray that I can keep
Sleeping to dream about you
I'm so tired of having to live without you
So I'm sleeping to dream about you and I'm so tired
(It's just a little a lullaby to keep myself from crying myself to sleep at night.)
Sleeping to dream about you
I'm so tired of having to live without you
So I'm sleeping to dream about you and I'm so tired
