The evidence that things are changing fast can be seen in the dramatic increase in the influence of blogging. We should be collecting emails as we used to collect telephone numbers and using them to better communicate our message to key voters.

Numbers Sanctify
Numbers sanctify something's influence.
They ensure the extent of dependence
We place upon our bellicose critics
And their world of detachable aesthetics.
We are now an unengaged audience.
There is a mathematics of credence,
An arithmetic of ambivalence
That has equated us apathetic.
Numbers sanctify.
A numeral suggests more evidence
Than the antiquities of eloquence,
Making us compulsively neurotic
Rather than truly expressionistic.
What terrors will come as a consequence?
Numbers sanctify.

Stop Being So Dramatic
You tell me what you think and mean.
But why you don't,
Let it go!
When we're walking in the streets,
There's always a scene.
And under spotlight...
You begin your show.
Let it go.
Your past and those bitter things.
Let it go.
Why can't,
You let it go.
Does your happiness mean anything?
Then you've got to let stuff go!
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
Those worst of fanatics.
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
You spend your days fantasizing from your window.
Locked up tight without a social life.
And you tell 'me' I'm growing old.
But I'm not sitting with my eyes half closed.
Or watching my life pass by...
From a window.
Let it go.
Your past and those bitter things.
Let it go.
Why can't,
You let it go.
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
You tell me what you think and mean.
But why you don't,
Let it go!
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
You let life flow to pass you from your window!
Framed-in-pain...
Let it go!
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go!
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go!
Stop being so dramatic.
You need a hit to spark that light inside!
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go!
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
You let life flow to pass you from your window!
Stop being so dramatic.
Stop being so dramatic.
Stop being so dramatic.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.

Never Satisfied
Where do we go from here
There must be something near
Changing you, changing me forever
Places changes, faces change
Life is so very strange
Changing time, changing rhyme together
Theres no where else to go
This could be our last show
Changing dreams, changing schemes never
We are never satisfied
Love is gone, along with fun
Now were reaching for the gun
Changing cast, changing fast, no more tether
We are never satisfied

Hebrews 11: 1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the light of the Lord that opens the door
Reveling the light of heaven serene
the evidence of things not seen
My God has revealed the evidence
His glorious power with consequence
Healing me and making me clean
the evidence of things not seen
Faith in Christ without reservation
releaved the pain of my aberration
So open His book to see what I mean
the evidence of things not seen
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the evidence of things not seen

Phony Calls
Mom and dad are goin out for the evening
And youre stuck inside the house all alone
Thats when you decided it might be fun to harass someone
Dial a random number up on your telephone
You ask if their refrigerator is running
Then you tell em they should go out and catch it
Buddy, if they ever figured out where you were callin em from
Theyd come and bust your head right in with a ratchet
Listen to me
Dont go makin phony calls
Please stick to the seven-digit numbers youre used to
I know that you think its funny drivin folks up the wall
But its really gettin old fast
Little melvin has a natural obsession
Askin for prince albert in a can
He gets a kick each time he makes a collect call
To some guy he doesnt know who lives in japan
Hes callin strangers up at three in the morning
Gives em pizza pie delivery at four
He wont be laughin when theyre tracin his line
One day the phone police will be there at his door
Yo, hear me
Dont go makin phony calls
Only dial the seven-digit numbers youre used to
Swear someday Im gonna yank that phone cord right out from the wall
How long is this phase gonna last?
Come on
Moes bar, whatll ya eat, beat or drink?
Uh, yeah, hello, is mike there? last name rotch.
Hold on. Ill check. mike rotch! mike rotch! hey, has anybody seen mike rotch lately?
Listen to me, you little puke. one of these days, Im going to catch you, and Im going to carve my name on your back with an
Ice pick!
Dont go makin phony calls
Please stick to the seven-digit numbers youre used to
You went through the new york city phone book and prank called em all
Hope that you grow out of this fast
Dont go makin phony calls,
Please stick to the seven-digit numbers youre used to
Betcha think its funny when youre drivin folks right up the wall
But youre just a pain in the aaa....

Next To Collect
You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
You could be the next on the list...
To get it and quick.
You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
Tomorrow no one knows,
Just what to expect.
You may be next to collect it!
An overwhelming love received.
You may be next to collect,
A joy that never leaves.
You may be next to collect it!
A one of a kind peace...
On your mind.
You may be next to collect it!
An overwhelming love received.
You may be next to collect,
A joy that never leaves.
You may be next to collect it!
A one of a kind peace...
On your mind.
You may be next to collect,
Just accept you are blessed.
You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
You could be the next on the list...
To get it and quick.
You may be the next to collect it...
An abundance of happiness.
The next to collect.
The next to collect.
You may be the next to collect it...
An abundance of happiness.
The next to collect.
The next to collect.
You may be the next to collect it!

No
Everyone wants a part of you
no matter whom you are
and most want your money.
They plague you with emails, telephone calls
or persistently knock on your door.
The more you say no,
the more they persist anyway
until you get rude and send them on their way.
Some churches send out callers
saying they’ll show you to the light.
I just tell them I’m a Preacher, I have my own church
and that gets rid of them.
I am not lying; I am a pretend Preacher with my own church.
Then comes the charities
wanting you to give money
for this and that.
My answer is always no
and tell them to see the government
as they have more of my money
than I ever get to see.
Up comes the utilities electric and gas,
on the door or on the telephone
about changing your supplier.
They always call when you’re in the middle
of doing something important.
I tell them no,
as I’m happy with my lot.
Next comes the man
with new windows, conservatory or porch.
They do not get much joy from me.
Nor do those who are trying to sell me
the newest gadget ridden phone.
If your wits are not about you,
you could end up with a half dozen of them.
Why don’t they all go to blazes
and just leave me alone.
After a days work I just want to relax
in my home sweet home.
Not get up every five minutes
to answer the door or the telephone.
This my time and I want it peaceful and quiet.
If there are any door-to-door beggars reading this,
stay away from my door,
as I don’t want anything you have to offer.
Hawkers of any kind just stay away
and leave my sanity alone.
If you phone me, I will politely tell you where to go
and when you get there,
I hope the Devil jabs you with his trident,
then my message will come through loud and clear.
My answer is NO.

More Visual Than Not
Remember this...
When you decided,
To silence your lips.
Believing problems others had...
Were not yours to exist.
And you pointed your fingers,
With judgements passed?
While your assets dwindled.
As those 'others' you trashed!
Your opinion now expressed...
Has less influence than your crab grass.
Or the effective use of a lawn mower,
When it was needed.
To do a job now long ignored!
It is better left to collect cobwebs and dust.
Instead of making meaningless threats...
No one within hearing distance takes seriously.
Since the evidence becomes more visual than not!
And apparently someone has spent too much time sleeping.

Pieces
Pieces of me, pieces of you, consisting of others
Teachers, friends, coaches, mothers, and fathers.
The older we get, the more we see
Pieces of others, that make up today's me.
Little things that we learnt from years past
Little things to which we now hold fast
Ways to do, views to see, ways to live
Ways to love, grow, to learn and to give
So many people, each with a little contribution
Many of whom never have attribution
For the things they gave, the things they taught.
Things that are priceless, cannot be bought.
Some of them will never know
How much they helped others grow
They will never perceive their influence
Neither will they see the difference.
Pieces of you, pieces of me, rubbing off everywhere
A little on her, and a little on him there
Forever changing their lives, for worse or better
Making them weaker, or making them stronger
So many pieces of you and pieces of me
Please, be careful what they be
Wherever you go, whatever you say or do
Guarantee that something will rub off from you
Never underestimate your words and actions effect
You never know just who you might affect.

Boot Sales
In the summer,
boot sales at weekends
are a common sight.
Selling things
no longer required
within someone’s life.
When you stop at one
you gaze over each, stall
hoping to find treasures
to add to your collection at home.
The problem with collecting
when do you say no?
Never I’m afraid,
for everything, you collect
gain a few more memories
and those memories are yours.

When Numbers Get Serious
I have a number in my head
Though I dont know why its there
When numbers get serious
You see their shape everywhere
Dividing and multiplying
Exchanging with ease
When times are mysterious
Serious numbers are easy to please
Take my address
Take my phone
Call me if you can
Heres my address
Heres my phone
Please dont give it to some madman
Hey hey, whoa whoa
Complicated life
Numbers swirling thick and curious
You can cut them with a knife
You can cut them with a knife
Two times two is twenty-two
Four times four is forty-four
When numbers get serious
They leave a mark on your door
Urgent. urgent.
A telephone is ringing in the hallways
When times are mysterious
Serious numbers will speak to us always
That is why a man with numbers
Can put your mind at ease
Weve got numbers by the trillions
Here and overseas
Hey hey, whoa whoa
Look at the stink about japan
All those numbers waiting patiently
Dont you understand?
Dont you understand?
So wrap me
Wrap me
Wrap me do
In the shelter of your arms
I am ever your volunteer
I wont do you any harm
I will love innumerably
You can count on my word
When times are mysterious
Serious numbers
Will always be heard
When times are mysterious
Serious numbers will always be heard
And after all is said and done
And the numbers all come home
The four rolls into three
The three turns into two
And the two becomes a
One

Forget
These things that we too soon forget
Collecting dust...spider webs that grow and grow
Till theres nothing left
Except for shreds that you cant quite call evidence
That I had a life before today
See I forget things I associate with pain
I thinks its time that
I start to look back on my life
Sitting around watching things go
These things that remind me of my home
I dont want to be in doubt
I dont need to know what this lifes all about
I just need to know for now
Are you gonna be around
When I need to find what Im missing
And I cant recall what it was I believed in
Take me home, surround me with friends
Take me home

Numerical Tyranny
Who conspired
this needless need for
the numbers?
Now we all live in fear of
the numbers
tremble at the feet of
the numbers
live our lives according to the demands of
the numbers
Identify ourselves by
the numbers
we've sold ourselves short with
the numbers
locked ourselves in a cell with
the numbers
no one believes they can escape
the numbers
our status our worth
our health our happiness
all dictated by
the numbers
Who are you?
Are you just another
number?
For if only we could see the truth behind
the numbers:
the truth being
there is only one number
that number is one
and that one stretches on
through infinitude.

Right Before Your Eyes
When the door shuts
Don't worry about me
Its not attention that I want from you
I need you to trust who I'm gonna be
And in everything I'm going to do
Cause I'm not afraid
Of what I don't know
For understanding is all that I earn
What is for sure is I'm gonna to go
I'm gonna to live and I'm going to learn
And I know there will be mistakes that I will make
But I know they're not worse than chances I don't take, take
Right before your eyes I am changing, changing
New life on the inside I am changing, changing
When the door shuts
Its shuts in front of me
A new person that I have become
I follow my heart to my destiny
But living in fear and sorrow is done
There will be no more feeling that I'm all alone
I will surround myself with things that help me grow, grow
Right before your eyes I am changing, changing
New life on the inside I am changing, changing
Right before your eyes I am changing, changing
New life on the inside I am changing, changing
Right before your eyes I am changing, changing
New life on the inside I am changing, changing
Right before your eyes
Right before your eyes

The Hoax
when someone emails you
that he has 3 million pounds
and he is giving
all of it to you,
will you believe him?
you ask me
if i believe him too?
alright, i may believe him
and give my name
and address and telephone number
my status, my other
particulars
even my credit card number
and you will say
OH MY GOD
how gullible can i be!
well, it does not really
matter
all these, my name, my address
and telephone number
and other particulars
even my credit card number
and ATM PIN
all these
are fakes too
exactly just like him
and his 3 million pounds
you see,
i was also not born yesterday

If the olive trees blossom in April, you'll have enough to collect them with barrels; if they bud in May, you'll have enough to fill a small measure; but if as late as June, you'll only be collecting handfuls.
