Boot Sales

In the summer,
boot sales at weekends
are a common sight.
Selling things
no longer required
within someone’s life.
When you stop at one
you gaze over each, stall
hoping to find treasures
to add to your collection at home.
The problem with collecting
when do you say no?
Never I’m afraid,
for everything, you collect
gain a few more memories
and those memories are yours.
