Our system provides for a winner to take office on January 20th, and he is expected to take command of the ship of state. Failure to do so, characterized by hesitation and indecision, will harm the national interest.

The Winner
Written by c. jackson, m. yancy and g. barge
In this world of make believe I must confess
To be number one youve got to do it better
And if you strive to be happy youll find success
Perspectively youve got to pull it together
Nothing good will come to you if you dont see
A reason for victory
Everybody loves the winner
Only the winner can really make things happen
Everybody loves the winner, so be the winner, I know you are
If theres something youd like to do youve never done
Dont let fear stand in your way
Just collect your dreams and thoughts and get on the run
I wouldnt wait another day
You can be the best in everything you do
When it thawls out, its all up to you
Everybody loves the winner (everybody loves the winner)
Only a winner can really make things happen
Everybody loves a winner (everybody loves a winner)
So be the winner you are
Be a winner, ooh (yes you can, yes you can, yes you can)
Be a winner, ooh (yes you can, yes you can, yes you can)
Be a winner, a winner, a winner, yes you can
cause everybody (everybody) loves (loves a winner)
The winner, so be a winner
You can only make things happen
Everybody (everybody) loves a winner (loves a winner)
So be the winner, I know you are
Every (everybody), everybody, (loves a winner)
Really loves the winner, (so be a winner)
Only the winner can really make things happen
Everybody (everybody) loves the winner (loves a winner)
So be a winner (so be a winner), I know you are if you really try
Be a winner, you know you can, you know you can
You know you can be a winner
(yes you can, yes you can, yes you can)
Scat (yes you can, yes you can, yes you can)
Scat
(everybody) yeah, (loves a winner)
Scat
(everybody loves a winner)
(everybody) everybody really loves a winner (loves a winner)!

I Pledge
I pledge allegiance to national flag
Let there be any attempt to tarnish the image or drag
It shall remain super most in my mind
I am not novice so not to understand and go blind
How many people have shed their blood for motherland?
How many might have perished in foreign land
For upholding the national pride and honor
What might have they expected in return for?
I am for sure many might have perished unsung?
No national anthem might have been aired or sung
Yet we owe our head in their honor for brave front
This is what all citizens expect from soldiers or want
Today we are free country with all liberal thoughts
On national front we have undergone sufferings when fought
No one wanted any material benefit but only free air
Have we given them what they wanted as fair share?
Motherland is compared to a beautiful and sacred lady
Love and respect shown for all the time from everybody
No one can think of harming national interest?
It is expected and desired even more as best
We have forgotten our past
We have lost the trust
Our head bows down in shame
Where to go and whom to blame?
The beautiful lady, motherland we call, is torn apart
She has been taken off cloths and divided in parts
Who can claim they have national interest at heart?
Can any one think of making again a noble start?
No, nothing will be done
Past golden days are for memory to remain
Flowers will laid as mark of respect once in year
Everybody is afraid and gripped of fear
We are killing our own brethrens
Poor are dying everyday without much concern
This is welfare state we enshrined?
Was that the show for later on to be fined?
We have created position to corner the wealth
Compromised with nature and helped to deteriorate health
It is world boxing match to attract more people
To pay for the show and invite more trouble

I refuse to be a clone.
From birth to death it seems to me.
That we are never truly free.
To be what we would like to be.
We are expected to conform
to what’s accepted as the norm.
Dictated by society.
WE go to school where we are taught.
To memorise the things we ought.
But no one spares a single thought.
About what we would like to be.
They do not care apparently.
We can’t escape too firmly caught.
Though some of us a very few.
Rebel and we refuse to do
What the system wants us to.
But most accept the status quo.
Because they aren’t allowed to know.
That they are entitled to pursue.
Their cherished dreams in their own way
and no one has the right to say.
That they cannot but they will pay.
The price for their rebellion
against the states opinion.
But some. still do it anyway.
I’m happy to defy the state
and take control of my own fate.
Because I don’t appreciate
being told I must obey
When I can see a better way
than that dictated by the state.

The Winner
If I listen to you then Im a winner,
If I take you at your word every day.
Theres nothing that can harm me Im a winner
All the way,
If I take notice of what the words tell me,
Its not too long before Im caught out in the
Rain
Youre the only one who can take me back again.
Taking me back, making me one with you,
Taking me back, making me new.
Taking me back, even when Ive been done
With you,
Taking me back, you keep pulling me through,
To the love that wont give up - with you
Im a winner
Here I am Im a winner
See my world turned it upside down,
Maybe know that Im nothing without you.
Got a brand new style of living with a
Motivation,
When I know my way losing my direction.
Thats when I get hurt with no one else to
Blame
Youre the only one who can heal me taking me
Back again.
Taking me back, making me one with you,
Taking me back, making me new.
Taking me back, even when Ive been done
With you,
Taking me back, you keep pulling me through,
To the love that wont give up here I am a
Winner
Here I am Im a winner.
If I listen to you then Im a winner,
If I take you at your word every day.
Theres nothing that can harm me Im a
Winner all the way,
Taking me back, making me one with you,
Taking me back, making me new.
Taking me back, even when Ive been done
With you,
Taking me back, you keep pulling me through,
To the love that wont give up.
You keep taking me back, making me one
With you,
Taking me back, making me new.
Taking me back, even when Ive been done
With you,
Taking me back, you keep pulling me through,
To the love that wont give up.

Expecting
Your mouth said this never
but your fingers have shown me
that your head is so clever
you claim that you own me
forever
You have the right to conduct me
in whatever fashion
your attempt construct me
in the interest of passion
you sent me
to toledo
I came back with handfulls
I did what you asked me
but after the thank yous
that you quickly got passed me
Im expected
youre expecting
Im expected
expected

First Past The Post
We should have a law that requires all Canadians to vote,
So looser politicians cannot feel so pompous and remote,
Because what the system of first-past-the-post denotes,
That the winner can win with a small proportion of the votes.
It’s all very nice if there are only two politicians running,
But if there are three or more the results could be stunning,
Because the combined votes of the loosers can be much more,
But the winner takes all and the constituents should deplore.
Therefore the majority of people are not represented,
And they are not allowed to show that they are discontented,
And the system can’t be changed because this is how it’s arranged,
Many many looser politicians who want nothing to change.

Truth is the greatest of all national possessions. A state, a people, a system which suppresses the truth or fears to publish it, deserves to collapse.

New York State is upside down and backwards; high taxes and low performance. The New York State government was at one time a national model. Now, unfortunately, it's a national disgrace. Sometimes, the corruption in Albany could even make Boss Tweed blush.

Sleepwalking
(K.J.Garside C.Gray)
Trippy little Popsicle cod,
Did I get it quite right?
Broken got broke,
Was it good to smoke?
I am not sure,
Was it good to sing?
Was it right to love?
Was it wrong this turning that I took?
Does the song sound right?
Do I look alright?
I spent all night getting it right.
So you would love me more,
So you would love me more.
Pray for your indecision girl,
Run from your indecision girl,
Hide from your indecision girl.
Somnambulation up and down the road,
I lay in the garden with the cats,
Oh my how the grass did grow,
I watch the clock till the day did stop.
I pray for my lovers return,
I spent all night getting it right.
So you would love me more,
So you would love me more.
Pray for your indecision girl,
Burn for your indecision girl,
Blind from your indecision girl.

the Way To Success
failure may outnumber success
failure is there
to make you strong
failure may cause pain
but nothing goes in vain
failure keeps you in touch
with reality
failure gives wisdom
failure gives experience
cowards don't fail
It's for the brave
who leave the shore
to sail into unknown
failure is a stop
in the journey of life
don't stop at the bend
today's failure would be
tomorrow's bigger success
failure is the cradle
in which success rocks.
failure is not a sin
failure is the first step for success
failure teaches you how to succeed
failure always helps in your success
failure helps you from failing
if you fail, it's not the end of the world
try!
success will definitely be on your way
so will run away your failure
but...
never forget your failure in life which helped you in your
SUCCESS
