I've recently started composting in my apartment, which is quite an adventure.

Bob
I had a friend that took a blet, took a blet and hung himself
Hung himself in the doorway of the apartment where he lived
His woman and his little bro came home from the grocery store
Only to find him dangling in the apartment where he lived
I had a friend who shaved his head
Put his doctor martins on
And drew such wondrous pictures in the apartment where he lived
He praised my creativity, though he spoke sarcastically
Oh, the conversations in the apartment where he lived
I had a friend that took a blet, took a belt and hung himself
Hung himself in the doorway of the apartment where he lived
Rock, she thought him spiteful; ler, he thought him pitiful
Me, Ive never been back to the apartment where he lived

Living A Boys Adventure Tale
(pal waaktaar/morten harket)
Ive fixed my dwelling for the night
Lights in pairs come passing by
Where I hide
I need some time now on my own
Leave my loneliness alone
To lick my wounds
Night has found me just in time
To help me close my eyes
One more time
Living a boys adventure tale
In so many ways
Living a boys adventure tale
For so many days
Im living a boys adventure tale
Cant escape, if I wanted to
Living a boys adventure tale
I may be dreaming but I feel awake
Ive been lost in so many places
Seeked love in so many faces
A change of weather,
The rain pours down
My head in hands,
Pressed to the ground
And where am I supposed to go now
Living a boys adventure tale
In so many ways
Living a boys adventure tale (aah)
Living a boys adventure tale
A voice I hear
Living a boys adventure tale
Singing a lullaby for me
Living a boys adventure tale
Because of you
Living a boys adventure
Oh you know its true
Living a boys adventure tale
In so many ways (aah)
For so many days
I love you. I love you
So many ways

We've already seen proliferation. We started it with Britain, then France. Then we benignly let the Israelis do it. The Pakistanis and the Indians have recently done it. The Chinese have nuclear weapons.

We started playing the Baltimore Colts early, and I was still very impressed with Johnny Unitas, who just passed away recently. I thought he was one of the best quarterbacks at the time when I was very young, he was in his prime.

Used to be that I could see a reason to be happy cause I was free
But then, recently it seems Ive been lettin your memry get to me
Used to be that I could pretend that I wasnt really hurt back then
But then, recently it seems Ive been lettin your memry get to me
Cause Memries can be friends or they can take you to a place
that you never thought youd be again
And take you to a place that you never ever thought that you would see again.
Memries can be friends or they can take you to a place
that you never thought youd be again
And take you to a place that you never ever thought that you would see again.
Doesnt matter now who was wrong
The future is tomorrow cause the past is gone
And Im Findin that Im not as strong as I thought that I used to be
Cause recently it seems Ive been let-tin your memry geet to me.

Cottage or Apartment
The roses' and the vines' fragrance,
Mingled with my cottage air.
Maine's preponderance of pines,
Surrounded my cottage fair.
The heavenly light ray,
Pierced through the fir tree.
It made my life there,
A nature fantasy.
That wooden kyake parked on the Sound,
Spoke to me of learning the sea.
Twittering birds and wild turkeys,
Spoke to me of how life should be.
But the human in me, never quite satisfied,
Yearned for alterations,
Of happiness that could have been,
A still happier life, that could have been.
But I started to focus on tiny details,
Of a flutter of a bird's wing.
Of the way these birds could sing.
Of the way these birds flew.
All these things my heart could not do.
It just could not do.
I now wanted to live in an apartment,
Dissatisfied with my cottage,
Dissatisfied with nature and God's forest,
And trees, and what could be.
Then I realized, how far I had strayed,
From my own childhood happiness,
That spontaneous happy ignition,
Where happiness resided.
But I never opened that shiny door,
Where this happiness was stored.
Well, I now smelled the pine tree needles,
The freshness of that inviting river,
That babbling brook of my Maine,
Where my cottage stood,
Way in the undergrowth,
Where my feet wanted to trod.
Down that way to that awaiting happiness,
Given to each of us, free by God,
That lay deep, so deep in our heart.
That I would never from this cottage part.
To any move to any apartment, anywhere,
To seek some fantasy happiness,
But uncapturable again,
Since once again, depending on outside appearances.
Godly happiness, once more ignored.
So both the cottage and the apartment failed you.
Childhood happiness, once more ignored.
No cottage nor apartment living, could your happiness find.

Set Phasers To Stun
Say yes, say yes, say yes, say yes
Say yes, say yes, say yes, say yes
I'm sorry it took me so long
I'm sorry it took me so long (to come around)
I'm sorry it took me so long (to come around)
Your famous last words started once your fingers hit the snooze
Just nine more minutes, please..
(And they) They all know where to find me
Every word that I said, what a big mistake
It's the words you left out, That's keeping me away
Well I will never make another promise (without you)
I will never make another promise (with you in mind)
So pace the stairs to your apartment
Like it's where you wanna be
(where you wanna be)
It's where you wanna be
(where you wanna be)
I'm sorry it took me so long
I'm sorry it took me so long (to come around)
I'm sorry it took me so long (to come around)
Well theres a secret I've been perfecting,
I swore I wouldn't but you let me
I'm comfortably confused
(and you...) You've gotten so removed
You know I, I could take the place of those pills
Ocean blue, paint it white
Now who ya gonna call tonight?
Well I will never make another promise (without you)
I will never make another promise (with you in mind)
So pace the stairs to your apartment
Like it's where you wanna be.
(where you wanna be)
It's where you wanna be
(where you wanna be)
[x2]
We paint our sins on the ceiling
I keep them glued to my chest
It keeps me close like a promise kept
(Say yes, say yes, say yes, say yeah)
If I talk in my sleep, will you just keep trying? (We paint our sins on the ceiling),
I'll give it up, if you just keep trying (Well I keep them glued to my chest),
If I talk in my sleep, if I talk in my sleep, it's gone (It keeps me close like a promise kept).
(Say yes, say yes, say yes, say yes)
I'm sorry it took me so long
(Say yes, say yes, say yes, say yes)
I'm sorry it took me so long
So pace the stairs to your apartment
(will you stop me, i just wanna know?)
(i'm sorry it took me so long)
Like its where you wanna be
(will you stop me, i just wanna know?)
Where you wanna be
