I wouldn't approach the issue of judging in the way the president does. Judges can't rely on what's in their heart. They don't determine the law. Congress makes the law. The job of a judge is to apply the law.

When we went to school we were told that we were governed by laws, not men. As a result of that, many people think there is no need to pay any attention to judicial candidates because judges merely apply the law by some mathematical formula and a good judge and a bad judge all apply the same kind of law. The fact is that the most important part of a judge's work is the exercise of judgment and that the law in a court is never better than the common sense judgment of the judge that is presiding.

The president has undermined trust. No longer will the members of Congress be entitled to accept his veracity. Caveat emptor has become the word. Every member of Congress is on his or her own to determine the truth.

I will be in comfort and others in peace

Down under and deep inside me
There sits a judge with a hammer
Beside a big old wooden table
With a eye-folded statue and a
Tossing balance

No one around,
No attendant or clerk in front

Only the accused
In the stand meant

No witness, nor arguments
No lawyer for or against the accused
No mention of sections or provisions
Of any law or regulation

And the judge is ever ready for judging

And comes out to declare that
This is good and that is bad

Which law school he is from
In which law he is a specialist
I know not a thing,
But he is always judging

And makes me act on his judgments

Normally we address
“The learned judge”
I know how “learned”
The person judging
Sitting down under deep inside me

Most of his judgments and
Subsequent acts of mine
Made me regret
And put others in discomfort

I have a request to
My inside judge

“Oh, Noble but lowly learned judge
How nice will it be
If you stop judging'
I will be in comfort and
Others in peace

Hard To Open Up Without Being Judged

saying what i feel is hard to do,
i don't open up much,
what's the point?

theonly personwho gets to judge,
is me!
other people don't need to know,
what i'm going through,
plus more,

so why do i need to open up?
to say what's on my mind,
when the only judge is me?
wouldn't you say?

it's wrong to judge a person,
you know nothing about,
just to find,
nothing you said,
never seemed to be true?

could this be why?
saying what's on my mind is hard?
because people like to pick out,
everything that don't expain,
who you are and everything you can be?

wouldn't it be time,
to stop judging people for,
who they are on the outside,
and just look within,
where all of the true beauty is?

People do judge you, and there are stupid rivalries. You have to wear the right things, because there are all these girls my age competing for the same roles. They're judging me and I'm judging them. I try not to be that way, but sometimes I am.

Alley

Apply, apply
no reply.

I do not know
how to apply
what to apply
I do not know
whether I am
eligible to apply
I do not know
whether there is
age limit to apply
I do not know
what is the
last date to apply.

Apply, apply
no reply.

And you find a fly
in this alley.

Rely On Me

Writers: leo sayer & alan tarney
Rely on me
Devil take tomorrow
Take these blues away
Too much pain and sorrow
All our yesterdays
Theres a world a waiting
Where you reap just what you sow
No good contemplating
So come with me and watch it grow
Rely on me
Rely on me
Rely on me
I will set you free
Ill break down the walls and set you free
Moon is bright in my sky
Nightingale sings sweet sweet
Youre the song in my heart
Put your faith in me
Lets not cool the spirit
Waste each others time
Its my world I want you in it
Trust in me and what were sure to find
Rely on me
Rely on me
Rely on me
I will set you free
Ill break down the walls and set you free
Rely on me
Rely on me
Rely on me
I will set you free
Ill break down the walls and set you free

Freedom of Speech?

You can't say that.
It's not politically correct.
If you say that you may offend...
and you will stand accused
of Anti Feminism, Anti Semitism,
Anti Americanism.

The media's gone mad.
Judging every word, every nuance,
letting one little word, 'stupidly'
overshadow the real issue.
Not even the President can
say what he really thinks.

Does anyone remember
Freedom of Speech?
You can say what you believe,
even when we disagree,
it's O.K with me.
I won't call you Anti.
