Touchy!

(morten harket/mags/pal waaktaar)
Donna found us in her slow and dreamy way
I cant hear a word the waiter says
Shes looking older than the colour of her hair
She walks into the room too pleased to find me there
Me Im touchy
Touchy you
Me Im touchy
And you know what to do
Me Im touchy
Touchy, touchy you
Me Im touchy and you know what to do
Both of us together in a room by ourselves
I sneeze to look around, byt theres no escape
What can I do, what can I say
Shes waiting for this moment to explain itself.
Me Im touchy
Touchy you
Me Im touchy
And you know what to do
Me Im touchy
Touchy, touchy you
Touching love is the best I can do
Hey, this time youve gone too far
You know how touchy we are
Donna found me in her slow and dreamy way
Now she reads me what the paper say
The way she laughs and what I do
Im waiting for this moment to explain itself through
Me Im touchy...etc.

Fragile

My daughter
Is very
Touchy-feely!

She has an
Achy-breaky
Heart.

Cries on every
Little thing…

This upsets me.

I want her to know -
Life's full of struggles.
She has to be strong
Like me.

Stop This Game

Words and music by robin zander and rick nielsen
Well I cant stop the music
I could stop it before
Now I dont want to hear it
Dont wanna hear it no more
No more
I cant stop the music
I could stop it before
Now I dont wanna hear it
Dont wanna hear it no more
All I wanna do is stop this game
Its gonna really end
Stop this game
Its such a touchy, touchy thing
Hey, livin with you
Is all I wanted before
Ive changed, you didnt
Dont wanna see you no more
All I wanna do is stop this game
Its gonna really end
Oh, stop this game
Its such a touchy, touchy thing
Well we were walkin before we could crawl
And you were lovin just emotion just all
Its just emotion wasnt music at all
Now I cant stop the music
Now I dont wanna hear it no more
No more, no more, no more
Stop this game
Its gonna really end
Stop this game
Its such a touchy, touchy thing
I cant stop the music (stop this game)
I could stop it before (its gonna really end)
Now I dont wanna hear it (stop this game)
Dont wanna hear it no more (its such a touchy, touchy thing)
(repeat to coda)

Poetry is the Divine Part of Man

Poetry haters love to make fun of the touchy-feely stuff
as though that defined who or what poetry is.

Poetry is the last time the sun gets reflected
in somebody's eyes, when they're saying goodbye-
maybe for forever.

And it's that first dropp of rain, touches the new brides veil,
blesses her; as she's lifting it off her face
for the first time, after being kissed in the marriage ceremony.

And poetry might be that bubble,
over the sink.. keeps floating away, fully intact;
even though all the laws of physics and gravity may be saying
it ought not be able to go on existing;

And poetry in motion
is a baby, trying to walk and falling down
again and again;
refusing to give up, surrender
less painful though that might be.

And poetry could even be your hand over my mouth,
because you know that I can never really say
what I am trying so hard to say;
as there's another form of secret communication
connects soul directly to soul,
without confusing or complicated words.

And that is some of the invisible poetry,
lives in the eyes, the hands; the heart of the mind;
and all the hidden, inner recesses of a human being; and even though
something may be a form of poetry for one; it may not be for another.

Finally, if you balled up the emotions together, and then just threw them up
into the open air, not knowing where they might come down, or even if;
this too, could be one of the purest forms of poetry.

My words could go on flowing forever, like a stream, and that could be poetry;
or they might stop without warning and

Who Sent You Here?

How is one kept motivated with insight?
How is ambition initiated?
Where does discipline and respect for it come from?
And who with anything they do to get done,
Would have time to ponder such questions?

'Don't be so 'touchy'.
I wanted to know so I asked.'

I am not being touchy at all.
Annoyed?
Yes.

'So...
You are moody like most creative people? '

No!
I leap straight into a cussing fit.
See how my eyes are enlarging?
See how I begin to lick my bottom lip.

'Oh yes, yes, yes...
Go on.
Let me have it.'

Who sent you here?

'Say it.
Say it.
Say the 'F' word.'

FOOL.

Where's Love

Where is love, not in a Valentine card
A red rose or a ring
Appealing perhaps to the emotionally scarred
Promising everything.
Where is love, not a sonnet sweetly read
Great sex or 'touchy- feely' time
Dinner for two, satin sheets on a bed
Nor sickly verse, that's nursery rhyme.
No, love is waking on a grey morning
Pushing her in her chair
What a stroke of bad luck that left her speechless
Thank God that her man is there.
And love is pensioners holding hands
A tea dance just for two
Scratched 78's and Dorsey's band
And a kiss that's still brand new.
Amore in dance steps arthritic
Would melt the heart of any critic.
Yes, love is a painting on a fridge door
Or her locket when he went to war
Kissing her better from a cancer scare
Reading his love letters candlelit in a chair
A family huddle, a toddler's cuddle
A Grandmother's smile
All much more my style.

In Other Words

Youve got my heart in unfamiliar territory
Its never been out here on my sleeve
Here tonight with you its quite a diffrent story
You bring out a side of me no one has ever seen.
Theres somethin Im afraid to say to you too early
But Id be a fool to wait too late
My mind is cautious but my heart is in a hurry
Which ones right is really hard to say
Chorus:
In other words
I cant put I love you
In other words
When I look into your eyes
No other words
Can capture what Im feelin
My heart tells my head
Some things cant be said
In other words
Better men then i, have tried to find a better phrase
Still I love you has a ring Ive never heard
In other words
What we got here is a touchy situation
You smile as if you read my mind
Pair of I love yous gently ends this conversation
cause matters of the heart cant be defined
Chorus:
In other words
I cant put I love you
In other words
When I look into your eyes
No other words
Can capture what Im feelin
My heart tells my head
Some things cant be said
In other words
Better men then i, have tried to find a better phrase
Still I love you has a ring Ive never heard.....
In other words
Better men then i, have tried to find a better phrase
Still I love you has a ring Ive never heard
In other words

Your Mother's Words

Your mother's words are still in my mind,
Even though so many years have gone by between us;
And i can still remind her of her exact words said before me when,
I took up the contract to teach you and your siblings Core-Maths.

2nd Christmas Without You!

My little christmas,
with Dad, sister and Brother,
another christmas passes,
still without my mother,
not even so much,
as a seasons greeting,
a christmas without her,
caused by her cheating,
i think about if shes thinking about me,
if she was here,
how different would things be?
today i missed your smile,
i missed your laugh,
the look of hungry faces,
as the turkey was being carved,
the day passed by,
with fun and banter,
with words being whispered,
'oi, pass me another fanta, '
the day was good,
but something wasnt there,
i missed my tiny feely-boy,
hes no longer sleeping,
just an empty chair,
without felix and mum,
christmas will never be the same,
but we pull through together,
again and again,
so another christmas passes,
me, sister, brother and dad,
and this christmas was fun,
with many more to be had!

Words Reflect the Parent

Words reflect the parent that raised you up
What they have taught you all those years

Words can say more than just enough
And show the person with his hidden fears.

Words tell more than what eyes can see
They uncover the heart of the man really

For they come from within the core of the man
The heart source of anger, rejection, and want.

A person who speaks with words so obscene
Tell the whole world of the roots where he had been.

His words portray parents who may have failed him
And with curses he lived at every beck and whim.

Love Hurts

Love hurts,
It hurts to the core
When hands loosen the intimate clasp
And they turn poles apart
One rushing to the North
And the other, South.

Love hurts,
It hurts to the core
When the bunch of withered roses
And thorns, leaves and stems
Gather dust on the window sill
Of a dishevelled house.

Love hurts,
It hurts to the core
When they don't look eye to eye,
And Love is no more blind,
For a raging storm from nowhere takes over
The effeminate steam of
The wintry-morning cup of tea,
Over the bitter argument
Of perfect spoon of sugar,
To be or not to be added
To the flavour of real Indian tea.

Love hurts,
It hurts to the core
For the waiting hurts me more.

Love scenes are always touchy, it is always hard to do. The woman is pretty, it makes it easier. You take your clothes off, and you are shy, and then three hours later, you are going around naked on the set.

Humor is very very risky, particularly for a candidate, unless he's been in so long that it just doesn't matter, and he's not running for president. But it's just that people are so sensitive and so touchy, and you're just going to upset somebody without ever realizing it.
