Touchy!
(morten harket/mags/pal waaktaar)
Donna found us in her slow and dreamy way
I cant hear a word the waiter says
Shes looking older than the colour of her hair
She walks into the room too pleased to find me there
Me Im touchy
Touchy you
Me Im touchy
And you know what to do
Me Im touchy
Touchy, touchy you
Me Im touchy and you know what to do
Both of us together in a room by ourselves
I sneeze to look around, byt theres no escape
What can I do, what can I say
Shes waiting for this moment to explain itself.
Me Im touchy
Touchy you
Me Im touchy
And you know what to do
Me Im touchy
Touchy, touchy you
Touching love is the best I can do
Hey, this time youve gone too far
You know how touchy we are
Donna found me in her slow and dreamy way
Now she reads me what the paper say
The way she laughs and what I do
Im waiting for this moment to explain itself through
Me Im touchy...etc.

Stop This Game
Words and music by robin zander and rick nielsen
Well I cant stop the music
I could stop it before
Now I dont want to hear it
Dont wanna hear it no more
No more
I cant stop the music
I could stop it before
Now I dont wanna hear it
Dont wanna hear it no more
All I wanna do is stop this game
Its gonna really end
Stop this game
Its such a touchy, touchy thing
Hey, livin with you
Is all I wanted before
Ive changed, you didnt
Dont wanna see you no more
All I wanna do is stop this game
Its gonna really end
Oh, stop this game
Its such a touchy, touchy thing
Well we were walkin before we could crawl
And you were lovin just emotion just all
Its just emotion wasnt music at all
Now I cant stop the music
Now I dont wanna hear it no more
No more, no more, no more
Stop this game
Its gonna really end
Stop this game
Its such a touchy, touchy thing
I cant stop the music (stop this game)
I could stop it before (its gonna really end)
Now I dont wanna hear it (stop this game)
Dont wanna hear it no more (its such a touchy, touchy thing)
(repeat to coda)

Who Sent You Here?
How is one kept motivated with insight?
How is ambition initiated?
Where does discipline and respect for it come from?
And who with anything they do to get done,
Would have time to ponder such questions?
'Don't be so 'touchy'.
I wanted to know so I asked.'
I am not being touchy at all.
Annoyed?
Yes.
'So...
You are moody like most creative people? '
No!
I leap straight into a cussing fit.
See how my eyes are enlarging?
See how I begin to lick my bottom lip.
'Oh yes, yes, yes...
Go on.
Let me have it.'
Who sent you here?
'Say it.
Say it.
Say the 'F' word.'
FOOL.

Love scenes are always touchy, it is always hard to do. The woman is pretty, it makes it easier. You take your clothes off, and you are shy, and then three hours later, you are going around naked on the set.

I had a lot of respect for Biggie, and it was just a weird, kinda difficult thing. When I'm doing touchy interviews like that, I just try to be fair to both parties.

He wasn't a great father. He was a great musician. That's always been a touchy one, and it will be until I can find the answer, but I don't know if there is one.

Fragile
My daughter
Is very
Touchy-feely!
She has an
Achy-breaky
Heart.
Cries on every
Little thing…
This upsets me.
I want her to know -
Life's full of struggles.
She has to be strong
Like me.

Humor is very very risky, particularly for a candidate, unless he's been in so long that it just doesn't matter, and he's not running for president. But it's just that people are so sensitive and so touchy, and you're just going to upset somebody without ever realizing it.

There's one more thing I want to say. It's a touchy subject. Black beauty. Black sensuality. We live in a culture where the beauty of black people isn't always as celebrated as other types. I'd like to help change that if I can!

To My Muse
there is no way
to tell
when
but i know
how to wait
like a dog
on a doorstep
i may sleep and
dream
but i always know
when it is time
to rise
and start to walk
and
play and
when it is
dark
to gaze upon
the promises
of your
stars
there is always
no way for me to tell
when is the right
time
for the teasing
or the
cheering
or perhaps the
weeping
and the wailing
(God forbid)
but i have always
mastered
the art of waiting
i know not
how to wage war
with you
i am always
at peace with
myself
comfortable
with the patience
of my arms
the gentleness
of my fingers
the sound beating
of my heart
and so i keep on
waiting
and sleeping and
dreaming
like a prophet
on the dungeon
or the desert
when you arrive
even as the lightest
waft of the wind
i will always know
when and why
and what to
do
exactly
this is a little
bit touchy
(or dramatic perhaps)
i only have eyes
for you
i know your scent
i read your mind
i can see your soul
i have and will
always
love you
even if...
you will not come
for me.

Dropped Jeans
No men popped for them.
Not those raised to lay in playpens.
Hot topics of 'where' the men could be?
Seems to be an ongoing mystery...
To those accepting disbelief.
As if this has been buried in backyards,
And vaulted in concrete!
Instead of glaring in their faces,
Uncovered by dropped jeans.
Exposing aging butts!
Why they haven't given that up?
Why can't they see the desperate need,
For changing?
Could it be...
No one wants to touch the butts?
Or mention a clean hygiene!
Perhaps fresh thoughts of reality...
Would be a touchy subject,
That would to them demean!

who comes
every

in
my dreams
to dance

up and down
body dance

too perfect

A Woman Left Lonely
A woman left lonely will soon grow tired of waiting,
Shell do crazy things, yeah, on lonely occasions.
A simple conversation for the new men now and again
Makes a touchy situation when a good face come into your head.
And when she gets lonely, shes thinking bout her man,
She knows hes taking her for granted, yeah yeah,
Honey, she doesnt understand, no no no no!
Well, the fevers of the night, they burn an unloved woman
Yeah, those red-hot flames try to push old love aside.
A woman left lonely, shes the victim of her man, yes she is.
When he cant keep up his own way, good lord,
Shes got to do the best that she can, yeah!
A woman left lonely, lord, that lonely girl,
Lord, lord, lord!

The Scale Of Desire
My scale of desire is very long
My wishes and longings are very strong
I wish for love, peace and more
I wish everywhere there must be a store
of care, kindness and good feelings
With fairness and honesty in all dealings
I wish everywhere to see the tree
Of smile and cheers that must be free
Of the thorns and weeds of pain
That creates touchy feelings in the brain
And I wish this because I have a long
Scale of desire that is strong.

That Early Morning
under the trees
you tread upon a heap of leaves
only a few feet walked on this path
the winds came and gave a hush
it has been this way
since
meanwhile some rays of light
begin to pierce crevices between
touchy
the leaves fall like a confetti
you remember
once when freedom first arrived
in the streets of the city
you hear the shouts of joy
for liberation
you remember opening hands
some fists
it is over now
and what you have are the sounds of footsteps
on the heaps of leaves
on this path
where no one likes to tread again
you are
alone again but stronger this time

Happier This Time
i
I don’t smile
You may think I am giving you
The permission
To think
That I really do not mean
What I say
With this grin on my face
ii
I stand my ground now
No backing off
On a wishy-washy
I give weight
To my prime intentions
iii
I tell the truth
I will tell you what I feel
I will tell you that I am not comfortable
With what you are doing
iv
Tell me I am silly
I will agree
I am not a little bit touchy
You are right I am
Now take the wind out of your sails
v
I do not have fingers
To point
To make you more defensive
I have only my heart
To tell you how I feel
Who are you anyway
To be blamed?
vi
I will make up a list of handy excuses
To see what is clearly going on
Before I put myself in the fray
vii
I am not afraid
To change my mind
Whenever I want to
In a minute or two
I may still have time
To tell you
That sometimes I do not
Honor commitments.
now, i will be happier
