I have seen for the first time in 100 years of conflict, the two peoples - the Israeli people and the Palestinian people - are ahead of their leaderships.

Another War?
The young prime minister is declaring war he looks righteous and
proud, his historical moment....We fight for the Libyan people,
but something disturbs me, the braying for one man’s blood.
The excitement of going to war, this lust for action sits deep in our
mind, jingoism brings its own political reward.
A just war? The man Kaddafi is an odious bully and oil supply must
be secured. But is it not also a selective war? People are being killed
in Yemen, an oil poor country; why not declaring war against their
repellent autocrat?
For now the Israeli are busy building settlements on occupied land,
they know a democratic Middle East will shift the balance of power,
a united Arab world will demand it. So let the war commence, but
I regret our leaders look of, almost, sexual excitement when issuing
orders kill the enemy.

Arab Uprisings And The World
The Arab nations are falling one by one
Some protestors may not see the setting sun.
Civil unrest is becoming world wide
It’s time for all nations to open their eyes.
The middle east and Europe where many religions began
People are questioning their nations and taking a stand.
New minds will rise from this destruction and pain
For this world has so much to gain.
A fresh pair of eyes can see what’s ahead
While an old pair of eyes should be put to bed.
We have corporate C.E.O.’s forty and under.
Doesn’t that make you wonder?
Each generation has a time and era in which they live
And during those times they have so much to give.
Watch the world and listen to the news
It is the people who must choose.
The uprisings are starting and we’re seeing it day to day
The lord has been giving us signs
But we just turned away.
Now the uprisings have started in the middle east
And they are realizing that all they want is peace.
Men, women, and children are now joining as one

Peace In Ireland And The Middle East
The Middle East is like Ireland in many many ways,
Each side totally committed to their own religious days,
Therefore in a way, it’s god that’s causing the problems over there,
One of the reason why their peace negotiations can go nowhere.
If we could get rid of all religions even just for a few years,
I know this would not be as easy as it appears here,
Because religious types don’t want to loose their place up front,
Therefore those in Ireland and the Middle East will confront.
Close down all mosques, churches and synagogues on a given date,
This no doubt would make it easier to have an honest debate,
Can you imagine the row and conflict that this alone might cause?
As they bring out the old books full of ancient religious laws.

Self Defeating Foolishness
No interest they have in politics.
Believing that and religion do not mix.
No interest expressed in local business.
And yet they insist...
Changes must come to exist!
No interest do they have,
With the lack of discipline shown.
And the disrespect accepted and known.
No one wishes to participate,
In doing those things that are right.
But quick they are to pass judgements.
And witness those in conflict...
As they sit and gossip as if to benefit!
No interest in progress or moving ahead.
As those who do this among them...
They do their best to keep them down instead.
And when they notice they are all of the same mind...
Knitted together by the same common thread.
They want to come together and unify!
Crying they've been left behind...
