Arab Uprisings And The World

The Arab nations are falling one by one
Some protestors may not see the setting sun.
Civil unrest is becoming world wide
It’s time for all nations to open their eyes.

The middle east and Europe where many religions began
People are questioning their nations and taking a stand.
New minds will rise from this destruction and pain
For this world has so much to gain.

A fresh pair of eyes can see what’s ahead
While an old pair of eyes should be put to bed.
We have corporate C.E.O.’s forty and under.
Doesn’t that make you wonder?

Each generation has a time and era in which they live
And during those times they have so much to give.
Watch the world and listen to the news
It is the people who must choose.

The uprisings are starting and we’re seeing it day to day
The lord has been giving us signs
But we just turned away.

Now the uprisings have started in the middle east
And they are realizing that all they want is peace.
Men, women, and children are now joining as one
They will no longer live under the terrorist gun.

Protesters are gathering and marching down the streets
But men are still dying as the women begin to weep.
Women are tired of seeing their children and husbands die.
Because with the government they no longer see eye to eye.

Governments are being toppled- they’re falling to the ground
The voices of equality and freedom Is now the battle sound.
The voices are now spreading to the countries in the middle east
And it will keep on going- “you know it will not cease.”

Just a thought instilled in the brain of man
And they will make the changes.
They’ll do all they can.

They are tired of seeing death,
destruction, misery, and poverty.
An LIBYA’S khadaffi is being pushed out of power
It is down to the final hour.

The Uprising

throughout the world there is civil war and unrest.
peoples patience being put to the test.
how much more can they take
before it becomes much too late.

when will these countries open up their eyes
and listen to the peoples battle cry.
what will it take for these countries to see
that they need unity.

clean up your own home, before it's too late
and let the people gain your faith.

don't destroy all their dreams
show a spark of light, that can be seen.

feed the hungry and help the poor
listen to their voices and hear their shouts
this is what humanity should be about.

eighty percent of the populations
is low to middle class
and if this continues, that number will not last.

people are tired, and they gather in crowds
hear the whispers, fear the sounds.
as politicians and leaders of nations
hear the rumbles, feel their sensations.

they are tired of being pushed around
and are willing to tear your lives to the ground.

so open your eyes, before it's too late
and help save the human race.

I Dreamt Of Another World

I had fallen asleep and in my dream
the lord came to me.
I said a prayer which I thought wasn’t heard
I said a prayer but he kept his word.

In the dream he spoke with me, and said:
I listen to all prayers far and near
Of that my child have no fear.
When nations start to rise up to me
Famine and destruction will no longer be.

The greatest of nations will fall to the ground
The cries of freedom will then resound.
Thousands of years have gone by
And man still doesn’t give freedom a try.

Now I must repeat history once again.
Will this destruction ever end?
I will not use locust or turn the water red
Through that path I did tread.

I am now giving you earthquakes, winds, and fire
Although this is not my desire.
But what must I do to open your eyes
Other things I did try.

Now the uprisings is the course I choose
Some will win, many will lose.

In my dreams things were falling in place
No more wars “ not a trace”.
No more hunger - no more despair
People working together- they truly cared.

They were greeting each other
with smiles on their faces
Not just here, but in different places.
I awoke from this dream with exhilaration
In my soul- if this could happen
“What a wonder to behold.”

But this was just a dream of things that could be
“If man really wanted to be free.”

Women in Beijing in one September

Women by the thousands
come marching by
to mark history among nations.

Never again should women
be sold, battered and raped.

Never again should girl
fetuses in the mother`s womb
be doomed to death.

Never again should the women`s
spirit be extinquished.

Can a gathering of women
among nations make up a change?

The marching of women
prompts attention -
a human bomb to announce
that women`s issues are
crucial to our world`s survival.

Remember Nine Eleven

they came like thieves in the night
Hijacked the planes while in flight
2974 people died that day
And for their souls we still pray.

Ground zero will live in the minds of man
And the world is taking a stand.
These terrorist acts must come to an end
And more troops the nations will send.

The young minds that they enslaved
Will come out of their caves
They will see the treachery
And will long to be free.

Why is it that you fear freedom so?
Is it because in your hearts you know
That you and your followers
Will have no place to go.

Communism and dictatorships
Are falling to the ground
Every where you look there’s love to be found.

Mothers are not giving up their children
To commit suicide, freedom is
The key on which they rely.
9/11 was the breaking point
For all the world to see
This is the reason it’s now world history.

“ to freedom” the world is now
Opening up their eyes, this we can not deny.
The world is getting smaller, and there’s
No place to hide.
No matter where you go, you know we will find.
People are closing in on all your terrorist acts.
Look around you, you know that’s a fact.
So to al- Qaeda and all the other terrorists factions
The world is now counter acting.
The bell of freedom will ring through out each nation
We will stop all your devastation.

For too long, many nations, including my own, tolerated, even excused, oppression in the Middle East in the name of stability. Oppression became common, but stability never arrived. We must take a different approach. We must help the reformers of the Middle East as they work for freedom, and strive to build a community of peaceful, democratic nations.

Freedom Is'nt Free

Walk proudly- for you have that right.
You are our protectors- our military might.
You are deployed every where.
And there’s a pride that you share.

You go to the far corners of the earth
North, south, east, west
You are Americas best.
Many see us as a sign of hope
While other countries can not cope.

They see us as a threat to their way of life
And are not willing to make a sacrifice.
The voices of the people are starting to be heard
Freedom of speech is the word.

No longer will they be controlled like mice
Once they make freedoms sacrifice.
Strength is in numbers- that we know
They’re now taking to the streets
And putting on a show.

There is unrest throughout many a nation
They are tired of poverty and starvation.
We have a lot of problems
That I don’t deny.
But we are willing to make corrections
And we really do try.

No one person or country can ever be perfected
But we have resurrected.
We have risen from the ashes
With faith, hope, and love
Given to us from god above.
Freedom isn’t free- there’s a price
We must pay.
But this has become the American way.

The Cost of Freedom

Syria...
violence in the streets...
peaceful protesters
marching for human rights,
equality, and change
being slaughtered
by their own government...

now here...
shadows of Kent State...
common people
pushed to the edge
in the battle for
survival, human dignity,
and hope for a future...

already abandoned
by our own government...

will it take being
killed to get their attention?
will it take dying
to give our children
a chance?

you say it cant happen here!
open your eyes, your ears,
your hearts...
it's already begun!

what is the cost of freedom?

Every One's Talking,

every one's talking,
all they did to me,
they be talking,
I knew them for these pattern's,

every one's talking of I,
I don't think I have a brother,
no a sister,
the negation burn in me,

when trust is in selling your right's,
I know that you I loved,
Sustained my time,
I honour the Lord for taking me to Heaven,
Reason of life and death,
You sustained my blood,
Washed me and every one's talking of me,

All they do is talk ill of me,
When will us have peace, ?
War never stopping.
War escalating,
War of Iraq and America,
War of the Middle East,

All my brother's and sister's,
from America,
All my brother's and sister's
from Iraq,
All my brother's and sister's
from the Middle East,
Tell me what's going on,
President's
Tell me what's going on,
When you kill our brother's,
Steal our sister's,

Then I will be bothered,
That the war never end's,
When my brother's die from the middle east,
I'm ready to be a victim,
It really affect's each human being,
The world is not a boundary of countries,
The world is an integration of metaphysical volition,
Brothers and Sister's,
I don't need these trouble's,
Tell me what's going on,
I don't need these trouble's,
I've had enough from the world,
We don't need no more trouble's.

A Door To World Peace

The door to world peace is open.
All nations are invited to come in.
A welcome mat is available for every one,
And rogue nations may enter again.

The door to world peace is open
And no nation is turned away,
But if few decide not to enter the fold,
Peace will be shortlived in every way.

Peace keepers fill our hearts with hope,
And attempt to dry our heavy tears,
And open hearts for sound relationships
That will last for many delightful years.

A nation that is closed to others
Grows harder than concrete or stone,
And the people who reside there
Are destined to be isolated and alone.

If you slam the door on some nations,
Peace initiatives will continue to cease,
But if all nations are willing to compromise,
What a difference it can make to seek peace?

Skeptical nations will always wonder
How world peace might have been
When the door was open for them to enter,
But they failed to come in.

Political Greed

The world is changing and so are we
We are reaching the stage of poverty
Times are harder and prices are climbing
But our wallets are really declining.

How do you tell a politician who has
Money in the bank that we’re on the
Road to bankruptcy, when beyond
Their nose they can not see.

How do you get out of the coffin
That they have made, when your
put inside a grave.

How do you open up that coffin door
When fresh air you can’t breathe any more.
When that latch is closed so tight
And you try to open it with all your might.
This my friend is an ugly sight.

People all over the world are asking for change
And the politicians are the ones to blame.
They think of them selves and the almighty dollar
While the public screams and hollers.

Some times I wonder if going back
To the times of bartering
Is the key- to get out of poverty.

I have what you want and you
Have what I need, and no
Middle man in between.

You make clothing and I make shoes
Let’s just exchange and no one will lose.
There has to be an end in sight
We are tired of this constant fight.

We must open up their eyes
For to our needs they are blind.

Let them live in the slums of any
State that they choose, then they
Will see how much they lose.

Give them that challenge and you will see
They can not live in poverty.
Not one of them will reverse that role
Because it’s too hard and much to cold.

When Women Will Rule The World

When women will rule the World sadly i won't be around
My bones will be resting forever in some quiet dead person's ground
But what a World 'twill be to live in the flower of peace will bloom again
And for as long as women do rule the World peace in the World will remain,
For as long as men rule the World terror and warring will live on
They have not learned from the mistakes of past male leaders with men as leaders all hope of peace gone
When women will rule the World the World will be a better place to live in
Mothers will not have to weep for their dead children there will not be wars for to win,
Women give birth to the soldiers mothers do not want their children to die
A dead hero is better than a living coward that is if you believe a lie,
Women do not want their children fighting in wars far away
There would be less wars in the World if women had a greater say
And when women will rule the World war will be a thing of the past
The flower of peace will be blooming and beautiful peace it will last.

Testify

Come a little closer it's a feeling that I can't deny
I was weak, but I never thought I'd speak about the darker side
Is that a ten? I could repent on the side of the road
But, I kept on going yeah I headed for another load
I get up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground in the middle of the night
Oh, I testify
I was laid upon the grave by a preacher's hand I cannot lie
And, I forsake many vows I made to be with you tonight
Could you be the salvation cause I never felt like this before
And, could you lend me your hand because I'm falling back on the floor
I get up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground in the middle of the night
Oh, I testify
On a road outside of nowhere, in the middle of the night
Well I guess I hit rock bottom and the dawn was not in sight
And a Tempest made of fire, onset the sky aglow
And a sweet young thing called out my name
And this is how it goes, she says...
Choir:
"Go boy, can you hear them?
Are you falling through the cracks in your eyes?"
"Go boy, can you hear them?
Are you falling through the cracks in your eyes?"
"Go boy, can you hear them?
Are you falling through the cracks in your eyes?"
Meatloaf: And I got down on my knees
Choir :"Go boy, can you hear them?
Are you falling through the cracks in your eyes?"
"Go boy, can you hear them?
Are you falling through the cracks in your eyes?"
Meatloaf (over the top of the choirs last two repititions):
I get up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground and I'm falling back down
Up from the ground and I testify
I get up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground and I'm falling back down
Up from the ground and I testify
Meatloaf & Choir:
Up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground and I'm falling back down
Up from the ground and I testify
Up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground and I'm falling back down
Up from the ground and I testify
Meatloaf:
Every cut that heals reveals a scar that you can never hope to hide
All the pain that you restrain keeps building up deep inside
If you think you're above it then it's you my friend that I implore
You've got to talk before you run
See the night before the dawn
Before you pull yourself off the floor
I get up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground in the middle of the night
Oh, I testify
Choir Singer: Up from the ground yeah, I testify
Meatloaf & Choir:
Up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground and I'm falling back down
Up from the ground and I testify
Up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground in the middle of the night
Oh, I testify
Up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground in the middle of the night
Oh, I testify
Up from the ground in the middle of the morning
Up from the ground in the middle of the evening
Up from the ground in the middle of the night
Oh, I testify

Freedoms Voice

They had gathered in the square
And a feeling of unrest was in the air
A message of freedom resounded out loud
you could hear the talk amongst the crowd.

Their voices started off very softly
And rose to a high pitched frequency
And in their faces the anger you did see.

The world is changing and so must we
We must fight poverty and bigotry.
Families are starving all around this world
Just look at the faces of the boys and girls.

There are children who are skin and bones
And are left without a home.
Mothers have no more milk in their breast
And not a morsel of food for them to eat
As they lay dying at their feet.

When they do have food to cook
They need clean water and a plate
And a spoon, fork, and a knife
So their fingers they would not bite.

A netting for where they sleep
To them is a treat.
Insects flying all around
And the children s crying is the only sound.

People being condoned because of their
Religious beliefs, color, and sexual gender
And it's not getting any better.

I live in a world of political corruption and hate
But I always try to keep my faith and
Hopefully one day they will open up their eyes
And take away that disguise.

This is the reason you hear FREEDOMS VOICE
Through out the lands - because people just can't
Understand why our politicians turn their backs
And refuse to pick up the slack.

They say that these are third world nations
Who have all these devastations
But don't they have rights just like we
So lets try to help them stamp out poverty and bigotry.

I know it's nearly impossible to do what we say
But one by one we can find the way.

ONE BY ONE!

Injustice In Politics

white collar crime is
immoral an injustice
that many countries

have corrupted allowed
to breed multiply infest
their codes legal systems

bedrock middle working classes
should both teach their children
honour pride dignity of honest

workers is never for sale;
politicians are servants
of the people the nation

their goal in politics
cannot be to amass
wealth for themselves

at the cost of a nations
pride causing poverty
for our fellow citizens;

God said the master
to the slave is equal
politicians today need

to remember history
previous past generations
humane great leaders

who worked
not for themselves
who worked

for the good
of their nation
their people;

who believed in
peace at home
peace in the world

if we continue
to allow disease
white collar crime

to amass millions
billions illegally
for putrid debased

individuals never tried
for heinous greed crimes
upon society perpetrated;

then how can
our nations prosper
when the fat

of the land
is stolen
not shared

people need hope
belief in equal justice
in their nations laws;

people are not
animals they need
a little appreciation

the odd luxury
for themselves
their children

left with nothing
but bare bones
lean nasty blamed

for their own
unemployment
misery poverty;

risks not just
broken lives
but a cold hard

mean day
of accounting
rage vented

a little compassion
goes a long way
justice equality for all

solves many problems
before they crisis arise
time world governments

address the real issues

Protect Our Children

We want Peace
For our children in the Middle East
From Israel to Lebanon
From Congo to Gabon
From the West to the East
We want Peace
Not stupid wars
Not obnoxious outlaws
Big guns can only kill
Big tanks can only distill
Pain, misery and death
We want Peace on Earth
We want Peace everywhere
We abhor injustice and terror
We want Peace in the North
We want Peace in the South
Our innocent children are being killed
Our fellow human beings are being killed
It is a big deal, it a sick and sad thing
We don’t want to hear bang, bang
We want to hear people laugh
Not cry, not suffer and swimming in a blood bath
We want friends to be happy and elated
Not being tortured and executed
We want Peace
For our children in the Middle East
We want Peace in the North
We want Peace in the South
There is one God, there is one Love
Let’s protect our children and each other
There is one God, there is one Love
Let’s pray for Peace and let's love each other
We want Peace and Love for every one
From Israel to Lebanon
We want absolute Protection for children
We want Hope for our fellow men and women.

Human Chronicles

saddened again...
to hear reports of violence
from around the world.
people, everyday people,
killed in an instant,
by rogue gunfire.

and people fighting for freedom,
standing up at all costs,
for their basic human rights.
fighting for food and shelter
in the 21st century!

the furious rabble of anger,
religions hating other religions.
fighting for the 'only god',
the 'only truth'...
and they dont even know
for whom they fight!

more earthquakes in Japan.
destruction, despair, desolation...
and yet they keep whaling!

rabid mindless fighting
in the Middle East.
threats of nuclear war,
oil, and more oil!
fighting over which side
of the street god walked on!
mosques, and temples,
weeping...
while the images of both gods,
turn away in shame!

Eorpoean countries failing,
economic collapse!
unrest in China,
boiling between the lines...
too many people
with too few rights!
Tibet, ravaged, raped, plundered...
while the world turns away!
starvation in Africa,
poverty in Haiti,
fighting in Mexico...
the list goes on...

One More Day

Listen to the wind
Hear the voice inside you.
Something in the air,
Something youve been blind to.
People everywhere are dying to be free.
Time has come to live our lives in harmony.
Chorus:
Give the children of the world one more day,
Give the children of the world, give them one more day.
Where do we begin?
When will freedom find us?
Bring the new day in
Free the chains that bind us.
People reaching out for just a little more.
Love is all we need to open up the door.
Chorus
Now the futures up to you.
Take a stand and see things thru
For the children of tomorrow.
Give the world one more day,
Time enough to find a way
To start over a way to go on.
One more day
One more day
Give the children of the world
One more day

Give the children of tomorrow

Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy

I wanted to sit and write today-but I did not know what to say.
Then a thought came to me. Why don’t I write about hypocrisy?
The hypocrisy of man leaves you to wonder.
Will this country make another blunder?
Will we continue in this Arab war where we are despised/
Will we choose to live a lie?
They say Americans shed their blood for you and me.
We all know its hypocrisy.
Men in uniform no longer fight the world wars.
People who want to hide what they are Moreover, what they say and do is because of me and you. Our service members and women still use our uniforms with pride
It is something that we can’t deny.
I could see it in my mind-the older politician telling the younger one.
“Let the road take its course” we are the trainers and they are the horse.
They will go where we lead them-that is why we are leaders.
The politicians of all nations should hide their heads in shame.
They search for all that they can gain.
They all try to line their pockets
They’ll pull your eyeballs from their sockets.
Then you cannot see all their hidden hypocrisies.
People will believe for a short period
While it weighs on their mind.
They have to tell the politicians that they will not follow
Like sheep to a slaughter so they could make a quarter.
We must tell them that we are tired as can be-living in hypocrisy.

If I Were The Chief Of UNO!

If I become the Chief of United Nations Organisation,
I shall work for the formation of One Human World,
Which will supersede the Utopia of Thomas More,
Which will be better than Atlantis of Francis Bacon!

United Nations will be the Parliament of the World;
There will be Unity in Diversity among all Nations;
There will be Single Currency for all the Nations;
There will be one language for communication!

United Nations will control the security of the world;
All Weapons of Mass Destruction will be in its hands;
Nuclear Weapons will be in store to blast off asteriods
When they reach near the Earth to cause holocaust!

There will be common laws for all the nations to follow;
Education will cover agriculture, industry, science, arts
and give training in army too to give choice to choose
Jobs after education for all to live in peace, love and bliss!
