Get a good idea and stay with it. Dog it, and work at it until it's done right.

Stay
Please stay with me now
Dont you let me go
Ill make it somehow
I got to let you know
That Ill make it
Somehow, some way
Though I wait on the day
What Im doings got to pay
Someway, somehow
My baby, when he cries
Its cause somethings on his mind
This world is full of lies
You and me are one of a kind
The good lord will stand behind every step
We are blind to fate, thats life, thats life
Stay, stay, stay, stay (wont you please)
Stay, stay, stay, stay
It fits, but you cant make it work
Where theres pain, theres got to be hurt
And the green grass grows from the dirt
Yeah, thats a fact of life alright
The good lord stands behind every step
We are blind to fate, thats life, thats life
Stay, oh wont you please
Stay, stay (wont you)
Stay, stay, stay, stay
Stay, stay, stay, stay
Stay, stay (right here)
Stay, stay (dont you go, no no)
Stay, stay (oh no no)
Stay, stay (stay baby baby please stay)
Stay, stay (right here, right here, right here)
Stay, stay (I want you to stay right here)
Stay, stay (we can stay here, together, together yeah)
Stay, stay (dont listen to what people say)
Stay, stay (stay, stay, listen now yeah)
Stay, stay (stay, yeah yeah now)

The really good idea is always traceable back quite a long way, often to a not very good idea which sparked off another idea that was only slightly better, which somebody else misunderstood in such a way that they then said something which was really rather interesting.

An Idea
An Idea can change the world, how many
things can be done from an idea, every piece
of object was an idea, sense the beginning of
time idea was the first thought created in the
mind, an idea is what surround’s every being.
But an idea is still only an idea and it can't be
felt, you cannot touch an idea or kiss it, or hold it,
ideas do not bleed or feel pain or love, an idea
cannot be seen or heard, its created in our thoughts,
but then again an idea can become real. An idea
can be what ever you which it to be, an idea can
be destructive, an idea can be brilliant, I've seen
people get killed in the name of ideas, ideas,
we walk around with a little
light bulb blinking in our thoughts, ideas.

Not My Idea
I bit my tongue and stood in line
With not much to believe in
I bought into what I was sold
And ended up with nothing
This is not my idea of a good time
This is not my idea of a good time
This is not my idea of a good time
This is not my idea
You thought that I would never see
What was meant for you was meant for me
I was distracted at the time
Forget about yours

Working Together
We work together
We work as one
Though there may be times
When we don't 'get on'
We may not always
See 'eye to eye'
And sometimes we feel
Like saying 'good-bye'
When this happens
We shouldn't lose heart
For of 'something greater'
We are all a part
Each one of us
Has a role to play
In making this
A brighter day
We work together
For the good of all
It's in our hearts
Where we feel the call
Gods love lives within
Every heart that shares
and every soul
that really cares
So whenever you feel
like going away
Just listen to your heart
For it wants you to stay.

of a Church community and for the 'Greater Good')

Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.

Goin To Work
(bill lloyd/pam tillis)
The alarm went off but I wasnt asleep
After tossin and turnin all night what a relief
To go to work, get up and go to work
So I get onto the highway and I head into town
Theres one part of my life I wont let you tear down
Yeah and thats my work-right now Im goin to work
When the whistle blows, Ill be there
Life goes on even when its not fair
And whos got time to hurt, right now
I got to go to work
Now I remember what it is I do
For a while I thought my life was just loving you
But now its back to work
Oh thank God for my work
So from nine to five I take a break from an empty
Bed and a heart that aches, Im good at my work
Oh Im good at my work
When the whistle blows, Ill be there
Life goes on even when its not fair
And whos got time to hurt, right now
I got to go to work
Oh I got to stay busy thats the only way
Throw myself into my business and collect my pay
Watch me keep it together while I fall apart
cause a world wont stop for a broken heart
Oh no, no
When the whistle blows, Ill be there
Life goes on even when its not fair
And whos got time to hurt, right now
I got to go to work
Watch me Im goin to work
Oh yeah you know Im good at my work
Right now Im goin to work
Goin to work

Lost in the Cycle
Work work work work, work work work work, work work work work
STOP
and
do
nothing
'cause there is nothing to do
even though there is always something to do
but why would you do that?
Stay up
No sleep
Go to sleep
Peace
Except not
Because the brain still says 'Go! '
When you say
'No!
Rest! '
No Rest
Come back to consciousness?
You never left,
did you?
Begin repeat

Sure Enough
Im laying it all out on the table,
Im telling you again what Ive already told you before:
My love is not a soon forgotten fable;
My heart is not a box with a lock in a five and dime store.
So theres no need to question me and my feelings.
Oh, wondering if I am sure.
Ask me again, and Ill tell you the same,
Over and over.
Sure enough to never want to be without you,
Sure enough, to stay for good,
Sure enough in every little thing about you,
Sure enough.
Developing the art of collaboration,
Its dinner and a movie and a baby or two.
Now we are in the midst of a revelation, mm-hmm,
Were doing what a modern world said we could not do.
And even when our love is mellow and aging,
Oh, even when were old and wise,
And we know then what we dont know now,
Well, I know Ill still be
Sure enough to never want to be without you,
Sure enough, to stay for good,
Sure enough in every little thing about you,
Sure enough.
(ah, ha...thats good.)
Sure enough to never want to be without you,
Sure enough to stay for good, oh,
Sure enough in every little thing about you,
Sure enough.
Sure enough to never want to be without you,
Sure enough to stay for good,
Sure enough in every little thing about you,
Sure enough.
You know how...
Sure enough to never want to be without you,
Sure enough, oh, to stay for good,
Sure enough in every little thing about you,
Sure enough.

Agoraphobia
Two people touching lips
Hands on each other's hips
Nothing in else in the world but one another
The 42nd floor
On a distant shore
I wonder how we strayed so far from this
Remember when we were
Just flesh and bone you sir
May have forgotten how good your world could be
So, put down your hollow tips
And kiss your lovers lips
And know that fate is what you make of it
Please end this
Before it ends us
I wanna stay inside
I wanna stay inside for good
I wanna stay inside
For good
I read the news today
And everything they say
Just makes me want to stay inside
And a better part of me knows
That waiting in the throws
Is on the par with reading with my eyes closed
"What Can I do?", You say
It's just another day
In the life of Apes with ego trips
Put down your hollow tips
And kiss your lover's lips
And learn that fate is what we make of it
Please end this
Before it ends us
I wanna stay inside
I wanna stay inside for good
I wanna stay inside
For good
I'm gonna stay inside
I'm gonna stay inside for good
I'm gonna stay inside
For Good
I wanna stay inside
I wanna stay inside for good
I wanna stay inside
Don't want to stay inside for good

You have to treat people gently because we're all in a process. What might seem like a good idea to somebody at 21 is probably not going to seem like a good idea at 50, but you don't know that until you get there.
Stay With Me
(pagowoy/weiss)
Where did you go
When things went wrong, baby,
And who did you run to,
To find a shoulder
To lay your head upon.
Baby, wasnt I there,
Didnt I take good care of you.
Oh no, I cant believe you leaving me...
Stay with me, baby,
Stay with me, baby...
Wont you stay with me, baby,
I cant go on...
Who did you touch
When you need tenderness.
I gave so much
And in return I found happiness.
Baby, what did I do
Maybe I was too good, too good for you.
No, no, I cant believe you leaving me.
Stay with me, baby,
Stay with me, baby.
Wont you stay with me, baby,
I cant go on.
Remember,
You said youre always gonna need me,
Remember,
You said youd never, ever leave me,
Remember, remember, Im asking you, begging you.
Stay with me, baby,
Stay with me, baby...
Wont you stay with me, baby,
I cant go on, cant go on...
Stay with me, baby,
Stay with me, stay with me, baby.
Wont you stay with me, baby,
I cant go on...

The idea of motherland is not a false idea, but it is a little idea, and one which must remain little. There is only one common good. There is only one moral duty, only one truth, and every man is the shining recipient and guardian of it. The present understanding of the idea of motherland divides all these great ideas, cuts them into pieces, specializes them within impenetrable circles. We meet as many national truths as we do nations, and as many national duties, and as many national interests and rights — and they are antagonistic to each other.

I've always wanted to stay involved with young people. I never bought into the idea that entertainers owe nothing to their audience except a good performance.
When you work on a movie, you just have no idea how it's going to come out; you hope it's good, but you don't really know, and you don't see it until about six or nine months afterward, and I saw it and was pretty pleased.

I didn't have a teenage or early-20s experience that was free and without worry. I missed the screw-everything, have-a-good-time phase. I was worried that if I didn't stay on track and work, work, work, I was never going to accomplish anything. Now I'm trying to have fun and have the freedom to do nothing.

Good and Bad
Good are the things
That are proved to be helpful
Bad are the things
That are proved to be harmful
God knows best
What is good for us
And what is bad for us!
That’s why
We should listen to God.
In the eyes of God:
Good work is ten times better
Than bad work
Good work is like gold
And bad work is like cotton
Bad is an inseparable part of God
Just like good is!
God’s body is the Best
And Satan is the worst.
The closer we are to the Best
The luckier we are
The stronger we are
The better we are to the rest.
