The First Time It Was Accidental
I apologized for slapping you in the face,
And kicking you down the stairs.
'I appreciate that!
And I accepted your apology then!
Remember?
But...
Why did you do that again? '
The first time it was accidental!

Slapping Your Face
Slapping your face and kissing your lips,
But that was the act of the rapist to pin you down! !
However, your written down statement was what got him arrested;
And, the police will have to do further investigations into the case.

Women say they have sexual thoughts too. They have no idea. It's the difference between shooting a bullet and throwing it. If they knew what we were really thinking, they'd never stop slapping us.

Another Question For You
a relationship to be real
usually is taken as a two-way
street, or two hands holding
tight along the road of life
but it can be more than that.
envision an end, how an end
ends itself at the end?
two hands slapping each
other? no way.
it must be
ready with an entrance and
an exit, a fire escape, and
some firemen to put off
a conflagration
but if there are none
what then?

If Wrong Relationships Have Been Established
If one is going to market and sell a product,
It would behoove them to know something about it.
And the demographic of expected clientele.
Erecting a building and slapping on it a name,
Without having the expertise that is claimed...
Is not conducive to obtaining success.
Especially...
If wrong relationships have been established,
With those who know absolutely nothing,
About the business or its process.

A Slapper With Class
What are you doing?
'Slapping anything against the wall,
To see what sticks.
It seems to work for others.
And amazingly enough,
To their benefit.'
But...
What about that which you value?
Aren't your values and standards,
Going to be diminished?
'Are you kidding?
I'm not an ordinary slapper.
I am a slapper with class.
It will be noticed how much of it I have.
Hand me that bucket.'
Which one?
'The one that has the mixture of glitter in it.'

Antipoem 05
so the opposite of a poem is not prose
but a joke
pathos and comedy
slapping each other
and then laughing together
the tragic and the magic
the loss and again
not the gain
the sacred fool
now the tool
i shall speak the language of the common man
and be the man of all men
drink with them and dance and cry with them
and then with angel's wings
i shall take them back to heaven

12. Love is – Togetherness! [On Love a collection of Poems]
Love is being together,
It is, being able to be together.
It is being together in work and play
In sorrows and in joy
It is sharing shoulders in tears
It is slapping hand in laughter.
It is being together in good times,
It is being able to remain together
When time is harsh and hard,
It is being there for each other
It is being there forever.
Love is all about
Being able to be together
And even in death to dwell
In each other’s heart forever!

Love & Fame & Death
it sits outside my window now
like and old woman going to market;
it sits and watches me,
it sweats nevously
through wire and fog and dog-bark
until suddenly
I slam the screen with a newspaper
like slapping at a fly
and you could hear the scream
over this plain city,
and then it left.
the way to end a poem
like this
is to become suddenly
quiet.

In water tray (dectina refrain)
Look
at the
bird splashing
in the water,
in clear rainwater,
bathing while slapping wings,
chattering telling others
how nice it is to be washing,
inviting them nearer, splashing them wet.
Look at the bird splashing in the water.

Two ibises
Sounding their horns harshly
two ibises rise from the lawn,
rise from their snail pecking
with hard big wings
slapping against the rainy air,
but neck on neck
keeping to straight formation
stretching out lifting into the wind
again they shriek at the barking dog
before swinging in flight
to a new direction.

Not A Pretty Sight
A poem should be a pretty thing
Or that is what I once thought
Really a poem touches you
Where you are and where you are not
As there's different types of touching
There's different types of poems
Some metered some rhymed
Some just a cry
As there's touching when you
Politely just want to get by
Then there's touching when you're
Afraid and think you're going to cry
Of course there's back slapping
Hand holding and warm embrace
Then there's that last touch
Just before the color leaves you face

Older
The older I become, the more I am modified
By the hands of God, the only true supernaturalism;
My heart beats as a jacket, my head is morose
And my story of my body objects to the topic.
Then study the very fashion this decade
And girls and boys do play forever with hearts.
Slapping is an engineer in the making,
We thought their residence was safe,
We think that wishes are caught in a net and fulfilled.
This old age has crept up on me, like bigger men,
To be big is wonderful but even in old age

When You walked into the world from God to man
When You walked into the world,
from God to man,
nobody really realized
what kind of offering You were making
when You got involved with man
bringing healing to pain,
with a slapping whip drove out
the white plastered priests
and in astonishment
people saw Your love,
when You with the last bit of life,
near to death,
still spoke of mercy
and asked Your Father forgiveness
for them that in humiliation
with pain were murdering You,
before the wide universe
man merciless had portrayed the depths of sin.

I am a verse chiseled in the stone of silence
A millstone spinning the wheels that grinds
A chiseled myself solid and painful
A flat pebble slapping
A peaceful water surface
Looking for a bottom a bird to become
Destruction of a verse built within the walls
Written over by the graffiti of nonsense
The unwalk of words on terraces put
Trodden by the innocent ignorance
Stoned by thought stood by paper
Whiteness that forgives everything
Too strong no one has killed me yet

Father's Pants
Because the past five months
of chicken wings, television,
nostalgia, and stale beer
began splitting the seams of my
38 wwaists, inherited curses surfaced.
Father's lament, 'If it ain't one
thing, it's another! ' became mine,
as did his habit of slapping a frustrated
hand against the back of a neck bent
with defeat.
Staring at the threadbare denim
which covers my flesh and buries
my soul, I start to sweat.
