When I was a kid of six or seven, I used to get up on the stove woodpile for a stage and I'd put on the wildest show.

In Your Wildest Dream
Oh baby, oh baby
The sun goes down and the moon comes up
My heart is pumping for you, and the mad thing starts yeah
Ohho..yeah, never in your wildest dreams
did you ever get this feeling
never in your wildest dreams, oh no
never in your wildest dreams could it ever be this easy,
never in your wildest dreams, oh no
Oh baby, oh baby
The night is hot outside your window
I hear people walking, people talking
I smell your skin, I feel you breathing
don't let me go, not yet, not yet, not yet
Ohho..yeah, never in your wildest dreams
did you ever get this feeling
never in your wildest dreams, oh..oh
never in your wildest dreams did it ever get this easy,
never in your wildest dreams, oh
Oh baby, oh baby
The world is slowly turning,
as it turns I see your face, touch your eyes, your lips, space space
We've arrived at the place where they open the hearts
and fill them up with love, filled with love, filled with love
This one's pumping for you, as the mad thing starts
Never in your wild, never in your wild, ...ohh
never in your wildest dreams
Never in your wild, never in your wild, ...ohh
never in your wildest dreams
never in your wildest dreams
did you ever get this feeling

I found you wanting
Like everyone
Always trying
Happy lying

To the ways of the world
I felt like crying
I felt like dying
We took a coffee
You took it so strong
Shaded from the neon
I could still see your eyes
Oh cherry

Found in the gutter
With a knife in her back
Letter said sorry
Please dont worry
She had a lover
With danger in his eyes
I tried to tell her
But she had the wildest heart

Wildest Dreams
They decorated all the generals
Who fought the wars behind the lines
They had forgotten all the soldiers
The brandy put them way behind the times
Insanity has found its way to tv screens
Vision seems impossible to me
They fight {they fight} for king {for king} and country
I never would have thought this in my
{chorus}
Wildest dreams
Wildest dreams
Wildest dreams
Wildest dreams
The evening comes, we sit and watch the vjs
Clips and rushes come from who knows where
From washington across to california
With fighting breaking out in leicester square
We see the soldiers moving on to victory
And children trampled under marching feet
They fight {they fight} for king {for king} and country
How many millions will they put to sleep?
{chorus}
Fly away...
No, not in this world
No, not in the next
No, not in my wildest dreams
They recommended euthanasia
For non-conformists anywhere
Some mens dreams for others turn to nightmares
This never would have happened in my
{chorus}
Fly away...
No, not in this world
No, not in the next
No, not in my wildest dreams...

We should be careful to get out of an experience only the wisdom that is in it--and stop there; lest we be like the cat that sits down on a hot stove lid. She will never sit on a hot stove lid again--and that is well; but also she will never sit down on a cold one anymore.

In My Wildest Dreams
Well I built a million ravin beauties out of pure make believe,
Hopin' my imagination might run away with me.
Thought Id picture every vision that a man could dream about,
Hell, you walked through those swing doors and stepped down off that cloud.
Whats an angel like you doin' in my wildest dreams?
A walkin' talkin' lovin' fantasy.
Did you come here tonight just to rescue me?
What's an angel like you doin' in my wildest dreams.
Well, I thought I died and went to heaven when you sat down next to me.
And I said to myself this is too good to believe.
You look like you belong in a Sunday school choir,
Instead of in this honky tonk settin' me on fire.
What's an angel like you doin' in my wildest dreams?
A walkin' talkin' lovin' fantasy.
Darlin' did you come here tonight just to rescue me?
What's an angel like you doin' in my wildest dreams.
Are you just wishful thinkin'? A figment of my mind.
Well, Ill worry 'bout that tomorrow, right now, it's closin time.
What's an angel like you doin' in my wildest dreams?
A walkin' talkin' lovin' fantasy.
Darlin' did you come here tonight just to rescue me?
What's an angel like you doin' in my wildest dreams.
What's an angel like you doin' in my wildest dreams.

If You Need Me
If you want to know the reasons for
The things I feel inside
You can run away and hide if you want to
But if you need me
Show me a way to get through
Cause Ive not see anyone like you
Since I was a man
If you want to know for certain
What is written in my soul
Where my wildest dreams unfold
Like an endless stream
If you need me
Show me a way to walk tall
Cause Id not seen anything at all
Until I met you
Sun lights up the seasons
Blue eyes light up the night
If you want to know the meaning of
These feelings thats alright
I could be with you tonight
Thats where Id like to stay
If you need me
Show me a love that is true
Cause Ive not seen a woman like you
Since I was a man
If you want to know what magic lies
Beneath the willow blooms
In each corner of each room
Where my love has strayed
If you need me
Show me a way to walk tall
Cause Id not seen anything at all
Until I met you
If you need me
Show me a way to get through
Cause Ive not seen anything like you
Since I was a man

Get Off The Stage
Oh, you silly old man
You silly old man
Youre making a fool of yourself
So get off the stage
You silly old man
In your misguided trousers
With your mascara and your fender guitar
And you think you can arouse us ?
But the song that you just sang
It sounds exactly like the last one
And the next one
I bet you it will sound
Like this one
Downstage, and offstage
Dont you feel all run in ?
And do you wonder when they will take it away ?
This is your final fling
But then applause ran high
But for the patience of the ones behind you
As a verse drags on like a month drags on
Its very short, but it seems very long
And the song that you just sang
It sounds exactly like the last one
And the next one
I bet you it will sound
Like this one
So, get off the stage
Oh, get off the stage
And when we get down off of the stage
Please stay off the stage - all day !
Get off the stage
Oh, get off the stage
And when weve had our money back
Then Id like your back in plaster
Oh, I know that you say
How age has no meaning
Oh, but here is your audience now
And theyre screaming :
Get off the stage
Oh, get off the stage
Because Ive given you enough of my time
And the money that wasnt even mine
Have you seen yourself recently ?
Oh, get off the stage
Oh, get off the stage
For whom, oh ...
For whom, oh ...
For whom, oh ...
For whom, oh ...
Get off the stage
Get off the stage
Get off the stage
For whom the bell tolls

One in the woodpile does not laugh at one in the fire.
Sestina
September rain falls on the house.
In the failing light, the old grandmother
sits in the kitchen with the child
beside the Little Marvel Stove,
reading the jokes from the almanac,
laughing and talking to hide her tears.
She thinks that her equinoctial tears
and the rain that beats on the roof of the house
were both foretold by the almanac,
but only known to a grandmother.
The iron kettle sings on the stove.
She cuts some bread and says to the child,
It's time for tea now; but the child
is watching the teakettle's small hard tears
dance like mad on the hot black stove,
the way the rain must dance on the house.
Tidying up, the old grandmother
hangs up the clever almanac
on its string. Birdlike, the almanac
hovers half open above the child,
hovers above the old grandmother
and her teacup full of dark brown tears.
She shivers and says she thinks the house
feels chilly, and puts more wood in the stove.
It was to be, says the Marvel Stove.
I know what I know, says the almanac.
With crayons the child draws a rigid house
and a winding pathway. Then the child
puts in a man with buttons like tears
and shows it proudly to the grandmother.
But secretly, while the grandmother
busies herself about the stove,
the little moons fall down like tears
from between the pages of the almanac
into the flower bed the child
has carefully placed in the front of the house.
Time to plant tears, says the almanac.
The grandmother sings to the marvelous stove
and the child draws another inscrutable house.

Happiness in change of stages
I went on foot to far away school.
Then I rode on a bicycle with a pride.
Later two-wheeler took me to pedestal.
Now a car. In each stage I was happy.
In each stage the intensity was same.
Every up stage is a happy stage
till it is replaced by the next stage.

Your Wildest Dream
Once upon a time
Once when you were mine
I remember skies
Reflected in your eyes
I wonder where you are
I wonder if you
Think about me
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams
Once the world was new
Our bodies felt the morning dew
That greets the brand new day
We couldn't tear ourselves away
I wonder if you care
I wonder if you still remember
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams
And when the music plays
And when the words are
Touched with sorrow
When the music plays
I hear the sound
I had to follow
Once upon a time
Once beneath the stars
The universe was ours
Love was all we knew
And all I knew was you
I wonder if you know
I wonder if you think about it
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams
And when the music plays
And when the words are
Touched with sorrow
When the music plays
And when the music plays
I hear the sound
I had to follow
Once upon a time
Once upon a time
Once when you were mine
I remember skies
Mirrored in your eyes
I wonder where you are
I wonder if you
Think about me
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams
In your wildest dreams
In your wildest dreams

A Movement Off My Path
The only thing you can show me,
At this late stage of the game...
Is what you have been showing me all along.
A commitment to nothingness...
With a devotion made to excuses!
You can't show me anything,
But a movement off my path!
I'm not about to ask,
For you to take a step away!
I'm demanding it!
Show me how you can be gone with the wind.

Beguild Easter Princess
Bronzed skin glows from origins east
Delectable buttercup for the eyes to feast
Torques blue through mystical sapphire
As gentle as lamb greatness you inspire
Memorable moments the stage you set
Tantalizing curves down my back runs a cold sweat
Gentle hips sway so magically to please
Dainty movements sets my mind at ease
More than just eye candy your are
Blessed being and the making of a star
Blossoming flower setting the stage on fire
You’ve have become every mans wildest desire
Beautifully fashioned yet never putting it out there
The drunk holds on tightly to his armchair
To everyone’s delight all faces now aglow
The stage is yours to command the show
Sing to me songbird of a melancholy ballad
Satisfy my soul for empty is my pallid
Archangel croons me tunes to a solid beat
Amongst your peers you are truly elite
Your voice resonate of a childhood lullaby
Standing firm a tear almost comes to my eye
Entranced by beauty naturally you possess
Beguiled I be my exquisite eastern princess
My mango chutney, you I would devour
Tenderly sweet and never sour to savor by the hour
Sing me melodies sultry to bring me home once more
You are a guiding light and voice men have never heard before

Centre Stage
There were times when I was young
I wanted to be centre stage,
the one everyone screamed to for more
whenever I sang my song.
As the years progressed
and I could see it wasn’t going to happen,
I grew content to sit in the stalls
and watch someone else take the applause.
I realized that centre stage
wasn’t where I wanted to be
and that I could entertain
just by being me.
I did not need a spotlight
to show the sparkle in my eyes.
I did not need to dress up
to be someone I wasn’t,
I didn’t need a centre stage,
I only need to be me.
I didn’t need glitz and glamour,
just an opportunity to give others pleasure
from any talent that I had.
I didn’t need the centre stage,
but just a means of escape
and just be ordinary me.

We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force.
There are many stages to a man's life. In the first stage, he is young and eager, like a beaver. In the second stage, he wants to build things, like dams, and maybe chew down some trees. In the third stage, he feels trapped, and then 'skinned.'' I'm not sure what the fourth stage is.
