Awareness requires a rupture with the world we take for granted; then old categories of experience are called into question and revised.

The Wise Man

there was three men who met GOD.
and GOD said:
i will grant you the one thing
that you want most in the world.

the first man jumped up and replied:
i want to be the richest man in the world.
granted: GOD said

the second man said:
i want to be the most knowledgeable
man in the world.
granted: GOD said

then GOD turned to the third man and asked
what would you like?
the man pondered all the possibilities
and softly responded: 'free will'.

GOD looked at him and said:
you could have wealth or knowledge
like the other two, or health, love
anything that you want.
why did you pick free will?

well GOD: with free will, i could
make any choices that i want
and if it is wrong, i learn from the experience.
i could search for knowledge
and be able to achieve wealth
and read books to open
the mind that you have given me.

i could experience love, joy, sorrow,
happiness, sadness.
and use the five senses
that you have bestowed upon me.

let me see and feel all the beauties
of the world, and the wonders of my soul.
this is something that i could forever hold.

why would i want to change
what you have given me.
you don't make mistakes
this much i see.

GOD looked upon him and said:
you did not seek the material
things in this life.
but accepted what i have given.
and this is what is called 'living'.

you are truly one of the sons of GOD.
for it is within your heart.

I Would Have Waited Forever

I would have waited forever -
For you to return into my life
I would have waited forever -
I would have given you everything I had
I would have waited forever -
Theres no question, no question at all
So true in the prize, would you wait for me?
All because you got burned, so you took what you needed.
Some will always turn away, say its reason enough;
Its another game of exploration.
Something calls at reverse and it comes to you;
Experience everything as it comes true.
So - it will be then
Change - it will happen
See - that we feel it
All - is completed.
Dont you want the world to stop short of giving?
Anytime of night or day, the magic things you love.
Everybody hurts when you shout, when you walk away;
Talk about it according to you.
I would have waited forever - for you to return into my life
I would have waited forever - to give you everything I had
I would have waited forever - theres no question about it at all
So in between the perfect flame of you,
This love will never let you down.
Just take it as it comes, for everything will come around.
You put your hand up: stop the flow of where youre going to;
Its another game called exploration.
How we imagine everything that we think were going through;
Its another reason to make the break.
Everyone will move with you now to the riverside;
Experience everything, but dont let the land slide...
I would have waited forever - for you to return into my life
I would have waited forever - to give you everything I had
I would have waited forever - no question in my body and soul
Forever...

Fundamental of Liar Chapter LXXX: Story

Story about future is called imagination
Story about past is called memories
Story about present is called reality
Story that becomes true is called prophecy
Story that becomes unfulfilled is called regret
Story that becomes no end is called boasting
Small story is called experience
Epic story is called history
Forgotten story is called lesson
Story that becomes obsession is called ambition
Story that becomes untold is called secret
Story that becomes go its own way is called life

Not Two Not More

We are not two not more
O my love O my dear
We are not factor also
There is nothing common
And there is no division
No rule no regulation
Our difference is only
Our sum that is to and
That is from
And you are my rummer
And there is no question
Of rupture
And in our hands
lie our future.

But if it not be true, the myth itself requires to be explained, and every principle of philosophy and common sense demand that the explanation be sought, not in arbitrary allegorical categories, but in the actual facts of ritual or religious custom to which the myth attaches.

Most extremely healthy people frequently experience of intense affirmation and certainty; Maslow called these "peak experiences." No one had made this discovery before because it had never struck anyone that a science calling itself "psychology" and professing to be a science of the human mind (not merely the sick mind), ought to form its estimate of human beings by taking into account healthy minds as well as sick ones. A sick man talks obsessively about his illness; a healthy man never talks about his health; for as Pirandello points out, we take happiness for granted, and only begin to question life when we are unhappy.

The Joys Of Thanksgiving

This day in November,
Special and remembered...
By many who are grateful to celebrate,
The joys of Thanksgiving.
With preparations made to express,
An appreciation.
In prayer and with faith to commensurate,
A gathering with family members and friends...
On this occasion,
To eat and feast upon past memories shared.
As an awareness of those many blessings given...
Seem to us to have more of a meaning as we reflect.
When the experience of witnessing...
Many moons and seasons come to pass,
To allow us yet another chance to embrace and grasp...
The importance of each other's presence.
And our fortunate lives we can so easily take for granted.

Pain And Sleep And Your Best Friend....

when you are in pain
you have no choice but to bear it
in silence, because any kind of
chatter
will simply aggravate
the wound,

talk is just a coating
perhaps, it will give a temporary relief

for those who hear your pain
they remain disinterested though they show that
empathy on their faces
but sooner shall you realize that it is not their pain
and they do not deserve it

pain shall always be personal
it is just yours, and it awakens you from that deep slumber
of pleasure
and complacency

when you keep on sharing it
they will pretend to continue listening
but if you know what is in their hearts
deep within
it will be shocking

soon they will relay your pain to others
who will be asking who you are
and what bad karma has come to you
what sins have you committed
which to them
have remained
unforgiven

categories, categories,
they have categories, sins and bad karma,
crime and punishment seems to be sisters
living in the same house

'who cares? ' that is the question that hangs in the air
of indifference
'who are you? ' its cousin.

the sooner you know this, the better for you

you take retreat inside your room
put your hands on your forehead
to check if you are still alive

it is just between you and the ceiling now
and that occasional lizard who is more interested on how
to capture its next prey, that mosquito
which if caught, does not matter also to you

when you cannot bear it anymore you resort to
talking to yourself,

it is now between you and yourself
ah, you are finally your best friend now
and you keep on talking
and talking, with matching pauses in
between

this time the pain subsides a bit
you have invented a new self, who can talk to you and
assuredly, this self knows no betrayal upon itself

betrayal, if you define it, is always the other
the next of kin, a brother, remember Cain?

you sleep now, time comes, gives you the blanket of relief
puts you into another world,

& it is restful.
