Its Not Heaven

(olivia newton-john/randy goodrum)
Heres your lunch money
You better hurry for the old school bus
Did you clean your teeth this morning
I know you hate it when I start to fuss
Heres the letter for your teacher
Your dinners in the freezer
Five minutes in the microwave
Dont wait for me this evening
Im probably working late
Your dad is coming over
With his new lover
And I dont wanna be around
So Im gonna do some shopping
Ill buy you those stockings
Ill be back in half an hour
Oh its my anticipation
Thered be a confrontation
I know how much it breaks your heart
Lets be pleased for him--hes trying
To make a brand new start
Its not heaven but its all weve got
You have to understand it
I wanted ozzie and harriet
With a picket fence around it
But that was all an illusion
Now were living in reality
But were gonna have a happy ending--you and me
Well spend the weekend playing
I hope it wont be raining
When we go to the game with dan
I know you think hes boring
But this time dont ignore him
Wont you give him half a chance
No hes not as fun as dad
But theres good as well as bad
In hanging on to yesterday
Im not trying to replace him
Guess Im really trying to say
Its not heaven but its all weve got
You have to understand it
I wanted ozzie and harriet
With a picket fence around it
But that was all an illusion
Now were living in reality
But were gonna have a happy ending--you and me
Together I know well survive
Rebuild our lives together
One day at a time
Its not heaven but its all weve got
You have to understand it
I wanted ozzie and harriet
With a picket fence around it
But that was all an illusion
Now were living in reality
But theres gonna be a happy ending
Wait and see
Yes theres gonna be a happy ending
For you and me
You better hurry for the old school bus

When It Hurts Enough To Cry

When it hurts enough to cry,
Like when your parents give you up, and you don't know why.
Parents just like my own,
Didn't want anything to do with me, till I was grown.
Why do some parents give up their kids,
Do they ever regret later that they did?
My parents weren't there through the teen years,
Or seeing me graduate which brought me tears.
I hardly heard I love you son,
When growing up, I can't remember having any fun.
Something my dad said has always stuck in my head,
When I was five he said he wished I was dead.
Doesn't he know my heart was torn?
I never did ask to be born.
Parents are suppose to love their kids,
And it will show later what a good job they did.
They say you can't choose your mom or dad,
Cause if I could I wouldn't be so sad.
But I always remember what Jesus said,
''Always love your mom and dad.''

Tipper, whats that sticker sticking on my cd?
Is that some kind of warning to protect me?
Freedom of choice needs a stronger, stronger voice.
You can stamp out the source, but you
Cant stop creative thoughts.
Ah, tipper come, aint you been getting it on?
Ask ozzie, zappa or me.
Well show you what its like to be free.
Ah, tipper come on, its just
A smoke screen for the real problems:
S&l deficit, the homeless, the environment.
Hey, hey all you, all you senators wiwes,
Better take a good look at your own lives
Before you go preaching to me
Your definition of obscenity.
Ah, tipper come on, aint you been getting it on?
Ask ozzie, zappa or me.
Well show you what its like to be free.
Ah, tipper come on, its just
A smoke screen for the real problems:
S&l deficit, the homeless, the environment.
The irony it seems, it seems to me. its un-american
Policy. yeah, weve come so far but still only to find
People like you with ignorant minds.
Ah, tipper come on, aint you been getting it on?
Ask ozzie, zappa or me.
Well show you what its like to be free.
Ah, tipper come on, its just
A smoke screen for the real problems:
S&l deficit, the homeless, the environment.

The phenomenon of home schooling is a wonderful example of the American can-do attitude. Growing numbers of parents have become disenchanted with government-run public schools. Many parents have simply taken matters into their own hands, literally.

I've inherited a sense of that loss from my parents because it was so palpable all the time while I was growing up, the sense of what my parents had sacrificed in moving to the United States, and yet at the same time, building a life here and all that that entailed.

Parents Vs Children

Things that i don't understand in this world is that why do some people
get into relationship, getting married, enjoying life and making love.
But when it comes to children or when they already have kids, they
could not accept their responsibilities as parents. They do have
regrets of having kids especially if the kids are naughty, giving problem
or giving them headaches. They always beating, shouting, saying bad words to the kids saying wish you never exist, wish you never been born.
Instead of being calm, giving advice, doing good things which would make their children happy and be proud to have good parents.
Instead of thinking good ideas which would make them close to each other
.
Child is a child, they need more time with their parents. They need
attention, care, and love. Children are curious to everything, they need
to know antyhing as part of growing up. They need the guidance of
parents, but what I see nowadays is different. Parents just give material things to show their love for their kids.

Some parents just go out to parties, shopping, prefer to hang out with their friends rather than their kids. Then they just leave the children
to the nannies/babysitter.
Parents make their children be far from them instead children to get
close to the nannies who always there for them and give the love to the children. Parents must be a role model for the children, but what i see
now is that children do as what their parents do, they become more liberated.

There are also some parents who give up for their children. Some choose their own happiness, they don't like to stay at home with their kids. especially if thier husband dont have time for them too. the tendency, both couple would have a problem that result to divorce.
Where is the love that they shared? where is the promises and vows they had?

Children's role after you:

Birthday: parents to children;
Death anniversary: children to parents;
Marriage: parents for children;
Funeral: children for parents;
Others for these have no right;
Others for these are unfit.
Parents must have these in mind
When they write the will.

Prayers of parents make a peaceful heaven to a home

Prayers of parents make a peaceful heaven to a home
The children who neglect their parents will be cursed,
The Nature makes such children’s house a hellish dome,
They are lucky children who are blessed by their parents,
It is said that there is a heaven under the legs of mother,
The children love or not to their mother but she loves all,
She embraces good or bad children but she can’t smother,
Mother is habituated to pray to God for all their happiness,
A few children won’t love their parents but love their wives,
In old age parents are in need of only their children’s love,
Who devote God, adore parents will be happy in their lives,
Love of parents always comes to children from the sky above,
God bless those children who are blessed by their parents,
And God curse those children who are cursed by their parents.

As rising rivers of rain that brings pain
With a filthy boggy mire,

Keep On Growing

By eric clapton and bobby whitlock
I was laughing,
Playing in the streets, I was unknowing;
I didnt know my fate.
Playing
The game of love, but never really showing;
I thought that love could wait.
I was a young man and sure to go astray.
You walked right into my life and told me love would find a way
To keep on growing, keep on growing, keep on growing.
I was standing,
Looking in the face of one who loved me,
Feeling so ashamed.
Hoping,
And praying, lord, that she could understand me,
But I didnt know her name.
She took my hand in hers and told me I was wrong.
She said, youre gonna be all right boy, oh just as long
As you keep on growing, keep on growing, keep on growing. yeah, yeah, yeah.
Maybe,
Someday baby, who knows where or when, lord,
Just you wait and see.
Well be walking,
Together hand in hand, alone forever;
Woman just you and me.
cause time is gonna change us, lord, and I know its true;
Our love is gonna keep on glowing and growing and its all we gotta do.
Keep on growing, keep on growing, keep on growing. yeah, yeah, yeah.
Keep on growing, keep on growing, keep on growing.

Be there an introspection

Parents type I:

You feed the dog;
It guards the yard.

You pay the maid;
She is your aid.

Bone and flesh,
Parents gave you.

Without their nod
You flee with a lad.

You are ungrateful;
Parents are indignant.

Parents type II:

Plants give flowers
For bees to hover.

Moon sends light
For lovers to delight.

Cow yields calf.
Calf selects the bull.

Your bone and flesh-
Out of parents’ blush.

Give bone and flesh,
With one you wish.

Your joy parents cherish.
They have no remorse.

Which parents are you-
The one demanding a return
Or the one retaining the love?
