If we dismiss from our minds the prejudice we may have against the Indians we shall be able to more clearly understand the impulses that govern both races.

We’re Indians First and Lastly!

We’re Indians firstly!
And that’s the way, we’re known all o’er the globe;
And that is what we tell the world around;
This is our primary identity.

We’re Indians firstly!
We may belong to any state by birth;
Then come our language, creed, community;
We’re Indians primarily!

We’re Indians firstly!
United are we by the tricolor;
The soil is one, though states be many;
We’re Indians basically!

We’re proud of our rich our Indian heritage;
Our thirst is quenched by rivers of India;
Our hunger is appeased by crops grown here;
We’re Indians first and ultimately!

Let none dare try to sow seeds of discord;
The Indian’s free to live in any state;
When asked, let always be our reply,
‘We’re Indians firstly!

God gave one sun and moon to all of us;
We live under the sky, our common roof;
We enjoy freedom got by same ‘Struggle’!
We’re Indians all, firstly!

We’re Indians firstly!
Our patriotism is Indianness;
Our pride’s in being born as Indians;
We’re Indians first and lastly!

All Indians are our brothers and sisters;
We love our fellowmen as our brethren;
Same blood of oneness flows within us all;
We’re Indians first, always, ultimately!

‘Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Jai bharatiya! Jai bharatvaasi!

Sunday Thoughts.....

understand that when people are grouchy and
so unkind, it must be, because the world had been
too cruel on them too, and at the back of their minds,
God seems to be nowhere, seems to be not working
for them
how selfish it can be
but
understand that most minds are shallow and most beings
thrive as though they are the sun and the center of this
universe,

which is not so, understand that this matter is hard to understand
and we ourselves sometimes are caught in the same trap
disregarding God
as though he is tool
a gadget
as though we are Gods
that have control
about everything

understand this
that without that root and the tree
where can leaves
and flowers be?

A Mere Infidel

Life must be lonely for a mere infidel
One who does not believe in a heaven or a hell
On a god or a satan he does not believe
Yet he laugh and he smile and for lost love he grieve.

The religious zealots dismiss him as bad
Their thinking all wrong for them one must feel sad
The god that they worship and kneel to and pray
Has to be far more understanding than they.

Not part of a church group but at the local bar
He belts out a song as he strums on his guitar
With dark brown shoulder length hair and a dark brown beard
He does not look at all as one to be feared.

Some religious zealots dismiss him offhand
The true meaning of humanity they do not understand
He minds his own business and he does his own thing
And at the local he plays his guitar as he sing.

How Do We Deal With Prejudice?

even those of us who've worked very hard
at not being prejudiced, have some type of
prejudice remaining. for example:
it could be prejudice by color, over religion,
over political views, concerning sexual orient-
ation.... prejudice against those who have money,
or those who dont! ...etc.
all prejudice is wrong by nature, most of it grounded
in the 'self'... in our own irrational fears, and our
stubborn streak of ignorance....
it's always taught, but doesnt have to be allowed!
it ofen hides under the banner of morality, or the
flags of patriotism...
we battle prejudice by being open minded, being
willing to listen, and learning to see ourselves
in other people...
if we say we have no prejudices, we have lost,
and prejudice has us bound.
if we admit our prejudices, name them, look at
them with naked eyes and resolve, then we're making
headway....
prejudice in the end is humanity failing to be human!
being human is a 24 hour a day,7 days a week job!

Small Minds

Small minds truly think alike, while, we have the mind of Christ,
For Christ has a Glorified mind, one which is of an eternal kind,
So all believers think far above, small minds, which I speak of,
Those believing there’s no God, and limited to this earthly sod.

We’re seated in heavenly realms; small minds, this overwhelms,
Seated in Heaven with Jesus Christ, Who’s given us eternal life,
A thought that is much too tall, for their thinking, which is small,
Small enough to dismiss Truth, that from God has all the proof.

All the proof man could need, to believe, but they will not heed,
Since they dismiss The Creator, they have no need for a Savior,
But, in due time they’ll find, they were mislead, by a small mind,
By the thinking much too small, to accept God, Who is over all.

We may be shallow in their eyes, however, in Christ we are wise,
With the mind of Christ our Savior, as we embraced our Creator,
The One Who created all we see, The Lord God over all Eternity,
Christ is Lord, over all, my friend, as all shall see come the end.

But the small minds can change, in the Power of Christ’s Name,
When they see they were blind, they too can have Christ’s mind,
By repenting to turn to God’s Son, the very Creator of everyone,
When God’s Truth they believe, the mind of Christ they’ll receive.

What Races, Horse Races?

I see the different races,
But I don't really care,
The color of the skin,
Not really my affair.

I see the different races,
And never do I stare,
I hate the mental braces,
That we all know are there,

For me there are two races,
The Good and then the Bad,
There are good Human Beings,
Then others that abuse,
The Bad harm all our Races,
And don't do us much good.

We're all brothers and sisters,
It's written in the books,
It's better to be noble,
Than just a bunch of crooks.

Not Your Enabler

I am not existing,
In pretense...
Your insecurities,
I will dismiss.

Nor will I come to understand,
With an acceptance to defend...
At my expense,
It is okay when you display...
Your way of living your life,
Does not get in my way!

I am not existing,
In pretense...
Your insecurities,
I will dismiss.

I am your friend!
Not your enabler to use and offend!

Our Meeting Is No Accident

Please do not dismiss me.
Or the approach,
I have chosen to get closer.
I am not professional at this.
But I could not simply sit...
And watch what I could not resist,
Up and go away!
Not if I can delay its parting.

Please do not dismiss me.
There is something about us,
Too familiar to ignore.
Your eyes and walk...
And patterns of speech.
When I hear you talk...
It feels as if I have known this before.

And when you speak,
It soothes.
With a calmness that attracts!
Please do not dismiss me.
My wishes for someone like you...
Recognizes what you have,
And I'm wanting more of that!
To achieve a happiness...
I know that would make us,
Joyfully glad!

Please do not dismiss me.
At least...
Let us spend a moment,
To allow you to discover me.
We belong together!
'Why' and 'how' that is,
Who knows?
But our meeting is no accident.
And I know that for a fact,
Indeed.
This has happened purposely.

Please do not dismiss me.
Look into my eyes.
Can't you feel something inside of you...
That announces a 'connection' between us,
Has come to stay and has finally arrived?

Rage To Love

Written by ricky & marty wilde
Ten little indians
Standin in a row
All dressed up
But nowhere to go
Lookin for a target
Lookin for a man ........
Just get me outta here
Its not the place
My minds been thinkin on
Just push me out again
Its no use hangin round or hanginon
Seven little indians
Standin in a row
The compere walks on the stage and he says
Sing it girls
But the bands no good
And the song dont cut it
Just get me outta here
Its not the place
My minds been thinkin on
Just push me out again
Its no use hangin round or hanginon
Come on, lets go tonight
We gotta brand new way to celebrate it
Oh - I got this rage to love
Baby - its so right
And if you feel it ...
Good !
Dedicate it
Oh - I got this rage to love
Three little indians
Cryin in their make-up
Nobody stops
And nobody cares
Just get me outta here
Its not the place
My minds been thinkin on
Just push me out again
Its no use hangin round or hanginon
Come on lets go tonight
We gotta brand new way to celebrate it
Oh - I got this rage to love
Baby its so right
And if you feel it...
Good !
Dedicate it
Oh I got this rage to...
Oh its just this rage to... oh I got this rage to love
