Hence the end of the world should be awaited with all longing by all believers.

Is There Still Longing In Paradise?
Is there still Longing in Paradise?
Or is there no Paradise without Longing?
In Longing we most feel alive-
And in Longing’s realization deepest live-
No life without longing-
Longing as Paradise
Longing as Poem.

D. J.
Im home, lost my job, and incurably ill
You think this is easy, realism
Ive got a girl out there, I suppose
I think shes dancing
Feel like dan dare lies down
I think shes dancing, what do I know?
I am a d.j., I am what I play
Cant turn around no, cant turn around, no, oh, ooh
I am a d.j., I am what I play
Cant turn around no, cant turn around, no, oh no
I am a d.j., I am what I play
I got believers (kiss-kiss)
Believing me, oh
One more, weekend, of lights and evening faces
Fast food, living nostalgia
Humble pie or bitter fruit
I am a d.j., I am what I play
Cant turn around no, cant turn around no, ooh
I am a d.j., I am what I say
Cant turn around no, cant turn around, ooh
I am a d.j., I am what I play
Ive got believers (kiss-kiss)
Believing me
I am a d.j., I am what I play
Cant turn around no, cant turn around
I am a d.j., I am what I play
Cant turn around no, cant turn around
I am a d.j., I am what I play
Can turn around no (kiss-kiss)
Time flies when youre having fun
Break his heart, break her heart
He used to be my boss and millions of puppet dancer
I am a d.j., and Ive got believers
Ive got believers
Ive got believers
Ive got believers in me
Ive got believers
I am a d.j., I am what I play
I am a d.j.

The Longing Is The Heart Of The Poem
THE LONGING IS THE HEART OF THE POEM
The longing is the heart of the poem
The longing for so much
Which will never be again-
The longing to be young again
To love again
In a true and deep way-
The longing for all the times and people
Who are not
And never will be again-
The longing which tells me again and again
How much we lose in merely living
How deep and rich life is
In time and ways and people
Beyond our ever remembering and recollecting fully-
The longing is for so much that is gone
For so much that will never be again-
Life itself is a longing for life itself
And life goes beyond itself in so many ways-
All the longing all my longing
Will never bring it back
even that
which is always here.

Light Of The World
Lead vocal - graham dye
I am just a stranger, in a promised land
I am only learning a game with the rules I dont understand
Going round in circles, Ive been round before
I can walk no more
I can walk no more
I am just a drifter, in an open sea
But no matter how much I try, the tide will not turn for me
Going round in circles, till I reach the shore
I am blown by so many winds
I can take no more
I can take no more
Light of the world, I stand alone
Cause I could not see the light of the world
Show me the fire, in a true believers eye
I am just a dreamer, when I close my eyes
I can fly so close to the sun, that I can not see it rise
Going round in circles, in a silent sky
I am lost for so many worlds
I can not say why
I can not say why
Light of the world, I stand alone
Cause I could not see the light of the world
Show me the fire, in a true believers eye
Just a traveller, on an endless flight
But no matter which way I turn, I journey into the night
Going round in circles, till the mountains fall
To believe in so many truths
Makes no sense at all
Makes no sense at all
Light of the world, I stand alone
Cause I could not see the light of the world
I was afraid, cause I could not see the light of the world
Show me the fire, in a true believers eye

What Is This Longing In Me?
What is this longing in me
This desire this sadness
This longing
For what?
For Beauty?
For what is no longer here?
For something higher farther deeper beyond?
For Love?
What is this longing this wanting in me
For what has no name?
And why do I feel
In the longing itself
The missing and the having at once?
As if somehow beyond all I am
Somehow and somewhere else
Whatever it is which should be most truly loved
Exists and waits for me.

Testimony Time
Believers, you'll find everywhere,
Each with a tale to tell,
Of how they sought the Lord in prayer,
When into sin they fell...
Though many folks aren't criminals,
According to Man's laws,
God beckons us with many calls,
With total love not force...
Believers come, believers go,
One life on Earth to live
And yet, how can Man's spirit grow
If God would not forgive?
So many souls enslaved by sin,
How can God set them free?
The Bible helps each soul begin,
But first at Calvary...
Believers learn God's ways in time,
Since prophecies abound,
With each fulfillment so sublime
That wisdom must be found!
The sorrows of the past are healed
In spirit, body, soul,
When Jesus Christ has been revealed
And when He takes control...
Believers each have ministries,
Ordained by God above!
If they obey and seek to please,
His grace will prove enough...
Please listen to their tales of grace,
Their miracles, their prayers,
As they, the Gospel Truth embrace
And do what Jesus says!
Denis Martindale, copyright, June 2011.
The poem is about the Revelation TV show
called Testimony Time in which the lifestories
of Christian believers help explain how they
first believed and how God has made them
overcomers. Though in this world we find
many troubles and setbacks, there is still
the message of the Cross, the gifts of hope,
new life and eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Revelation
(m - kusch l - deris)
Now we chase the end of time
Afraid of what we will find
Once again since jesus christ
The stars look down on mankind
Revelation
Overcome creation
False illusions
Fade and die
Whatever we awaited
Charity or hatred
Whatever we awaited
Will arise
Its revelation
Revelation
Power and prosperity
It wont be like before
Name, rank and authority
Not counting any more
Revelation
Overcome creation
False illusions
Fade and die
Whatever we awaited
Charity or hatred
Whatever we awaited
Will arise
Its revelation
Revelation
Bemoan your words
Bemoan your deeds
Repent your thoughts of lies
Attain your sword
Attain your shield
Defend the sense of life
Bemoan your hate
Repent your greed
Improve your rotten seed
Pray for the child
Thought born just by a fraund
And a whole
Pray for the child
Who wont know
Whats crying for
Revelation
Overcome creation
False illusions
Fade and die
Whatever we awaited
Charity or hatred
Whatever we awaited
Will arise
Its revelation

Deep In Your Heart
I do know lifes been hard for you my love
Well take it slow and let our feelings grow
Day by day I feel Im getting closer to you
Come with me, wont let you slip away
Deep in your heart you are longing for love
I know you want me too
Deep in your heart you are longing for love
Thats all I want from you
Deep in your heart you are longing for love
You feel the way I do
Deep in your heart you are longing for love
And I keep longing to be with you
To survive you have tried to run from love
Deep down inside you want me in your life
Storm by storm Im breaking down this wall round your heart
I hold on to all your fears are gone
Deep in your heart you are longing for love
I know you want me too
Deep in your heart you are longing for love
Thats all I want from you
Deep in your heart you are longing for love
You feel the way I do
Deep in your heart you are longing for love
And I keep longing to be with you

Hunger
A hungered world was eating
all that God had laid before
both sinners and believers
and sad strangers on the shore.
A hungered word was spoken
a mix of greed and pain
by both sinners and believers
who would not speak again.
I listened to Mandela
i sang songs with grey Geldof
declaimed 'you too' with Bono
watched all that Live Aid stuff.
I looked at the world leaders
like Bush, Chirac and Blair
then looked at all those pop stars
and wondered why they're there.
What has happened to our conscience?
what's become of our ideals?
when the votes in our democracies
are to the music charts less real?
Could it be that when we're voting
our own self-interest
sidelines those big issues
that would really serve us best?

Touch Upon the Shoulder of my Fears
A love was born on Hallows Eve
A love that did naught but ignite the teasing of the girl
For whom I had longed to please for so long yet had never found the opportunity
Nor had I ever been granted access to slip between the thighs of a girl
Within whose eyes I was so sure I would find skies painted a deeper blue.
She remembers not offering up her self to me freely
Asking me to take her in my arms whilst in the next room awaited the girl
To whom one kiss would do the most harm. She awaited whilst I conversed
With what seemed alike the ghost of ancient loves incarnate.
Now in offering yourself to my taking I am naught but making concrete
The mould of my setting – In doing so I am perhaps forgetting the longing I have known – but know that faithfully I belong to the girl who knows nothing of the arrangement of souls I find myself within. In turning away from the offering of the girl for whom I had shed tears for many years – I saw death touch upon the shoulder of my fears and lead them by there ears away, beckoning he came reckoning with the judgement of the hourglass as his only sense of duty.

The Last Days
What if the world was coming to an end
And we knew that day would be tomorrow
Would we search for family or even a friend
Or would we just hide and cry in sorrow,
Would we think about and also regret our sins
That we have committed to ourselves and unto others
Remember while we suffer the devil he grins
Especially when we have wronged our sisters and brothers,
Would the non believers then pray to a GOD
To a being they had ignored and would not believe
While the true believers would hold out their hands and nod
As they accept their judgement and their destiny,
Would anyone ask for forgiveness from the ones they hurt
And hope that GOD would forgive them as they did pray
Or maybe they will try to change and then covert
As they know that tomorrow would be their very last day,
I wonder if anyone would knock upon my door
Just to say that they are sorry or maybe even goodbye
Besides the people that came to my house before
Would they only be sorry, knowing soon that they will die,
Though our world it might not end tomorrow
But then only GOD will know when that day might be
Until that day my Bible anyone can borrow
As we all wait for our death and then our final journey

God, I am Yours (a prayer)
God, I am Yours –
My body, mind, spirit and soul;
You made me with Your divine love;
Let me proclaim the same love
To everyone in this world You made;
Let me renounce all that is sinful;
Let me live life as per Your code;
Let me reveal to the world Your great love for humanity;
Let me lead an exemplary life so that others and non-believers
realize the presence of God in everything I do;
Let me suffer if need be for Thine sake
And bear witness of Thine only Son and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Let me bear my cross and walk in His footsteps to Calvary;
Let me show others how special I am in being a Roman Catholic;
Let me change the world and make it a better place for all to live;
Let me tell the atheists that there is a living, loving, longing God,
Who cares for all and wants us all to be back with Him,
In the city of Eternal bliss called Heaven, the Abode of God.

Gingerbread Men
Four sons baking made
Gingerbread men…
The two youngest prayed
That when they woke-up
They wouldn't all be gone!
For what they'd made…
For what they'd made...
They'd had—none!
They were right to pray…
For all the chocolate coated
Ones had gone!
And just two remained out of'
The eagerly, awaited, twenty one!
The eagerly, awaited, twenty one!
And just two remained out of'
The eagerly, awaited, twenty one!
The two left where without
There chocolate coats
So they weren't eaten because their coats
Were none!
You lucky two… You lucky two…
You lucky two…
Gingerbread men…

Visionaries
America was a dream.
America was a vision
Made by believers
Who made a decision
To break away from old mistakes
And start something new.
It did not come easy.
The believers were just a few.
But it only takes a few
To believe in what is right.
And so America started
But not without a fight.
It was about taxes
Just like it is today.
But instead of King George
It’s the politicos taking our pay.
So where do we stand now?
We’re in the same boat.
Slowly we are sinking.
We can’t stay afloat.
We need new believers
To take up the fight
And lead us with new vision
And true insight.
We are people of every color.
We are people of every creed.
We offered freedom
To people all in need.
But the politicos have turned us
One against the other
And ratcheted up the hate
In this land that is our mother.
America where’s your dream?
America where’s your vision?
Where are the believers to make a good decision?
They’ve gone to the Promised Land
And what do they see?
As they look upon us all
They see that we’re not free.

Ways Unfounded
God moves in ways we think not, when Godly faith becomes our lot,
Living daily, our faith prescribed, by He who lives, although He died.
Christ now lives, guiding those, following in faith, the One who rose,
Guiding us with Staff and Rod, is our Shepherd, our friend and God.
Leading believers in ways unfound, as God puts us on solid ground,
With our faith in the One who lives, His peace to us our Savior gives,
In a world that can appear hollow, He gives us vision when we follow,
Sight unfound in this world we see, but, a vision anchored in Eternity.
Man’s empty ways have such allure, in a dark world that is so unsure,
When what you see is what you get, in God’s Plan, simply doesn’t fit,
For all our faith, founded in Him, takes us beyond man’s empty whim,
When all earthly plans turn into dust, an enduring plan is ours by trust.
All God’s Ways we may not know, but with all them He helps us grow,
With all eyes on The Author of Life, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
As God helps believers to rise, in downtimes, much to man’s surprise,
For His Ways, by many are ignored, for they have no faith in our Lord.
But, the many who have believed, enduring Truths, they have received,
Although no one fully understands, this entire world is in God’s Hands,
God’s Will, shall be achieved friend, as this dark world will see its end,
As believers, move into Eternal Life, safely with, our Lord Jesus Christ.

This world will never wait.
Peepers of this world,
Kiss the ass of these words
Aye, for the sake of He that died on the cross
Dump wobbling after the world.
For the world is good at waiting
But he has never waited for one afore
Check out the epoch as the fore
For
The world is like a shadow
Guised in a behemoth silhouette
Yes, the world awaited you
You embrace him
You embrace the silhouette
Checking out the silhouette
What you will see is an empty set
For the world's exactly in a real disguise
The world awaits none
Cos he knows the time is no more prime
Put into shreds your old attire
Sign up with that white empire
For this world shall leave us all
Not all of us shall leave this world.
For it's written
By Him, not by your keen kitten.

Most awaited leadership
Most awaited movement...
Who can negate
Such timely effort
Who can negate Anna Hazare..
Like an oasis in a desert
His is anti-corruption-venture
They don't keep up their
Election promises
Politicians keep up with
Sham gifts and cash only
I found people around here
Awaiting till last minute
For the bribe conscienceless
Is this a wakeless land
ceaselessly..?

The Punisher
One day youre ostracised
And then youre mesmerised
The goal is freedom for us all
We are all believers
We think we own the world
It sends us crashing down
And in an instant he arrives
We are strong believers
Hes the retriever
He holds the book in his hand
To bring us back where we belong
He is the punisher - he can tell if you lie
He is the punisher - one mistake and you die
He is the punisher - there is only one right
He is the punisher - he takes an eye for an eye
Hes made in one design
The price is piece of mind
Instead of hatred there is pride
We are strong believers
He senses everytime
The past and future crimes
Hes east and west hes so divine
He holds the book in his hand
To bring us back where we belong
He is the punisher - he can tell if you lie
He is the punisher - one mistake and you die
He is the punisher - you cant elect him out
He is the punisher - he is the one we crowned
Hes omnipresant in our world and rules the game
The punisher just treats the same
He holds the book in his hand
To bring us back where we belong
He is the punisher - he can tell if you lie
He is the punisher - one mistake and you die
He is the punisher - there is only one right
He is the punisher - he takes an eye for an eye
He is the punisher - you cant elect him out
He is the punisher - he is the one we crowned
Punisher - he is the punisher
Punisher - he is the punisher

Harvest Festival
See the flowers round the altar
See the peaches in tins neath the headmasters chair
Harvest festival
See the two whove been chosen
See them walk hand in hand to the front of the hall
Harvest festival
Harvest festival
What was best of all was the
Longing look you gave me
That longing look
More than enough to keep me fed all year
See the children with baskets
See their hair cut like corn neatly combed in their rows
Harvest festival
Harvest festival
What was best of all was the
Longing look you gave me
That longing look
Across the hymnbooks and the canvas chairs
The longing look you gave me
That longing look
More than enough to keep me fed all year
What a year when the exams and crops all failed
Of course you passed but you were never seen again
We all grew and we got screwed and cut and nailed
Then out of nowhere invitation in gold pen
See the flowers round the altar
See that you too got married and I wish you well
Harvest festival
Harvest festival
What was best of all was the
Longing look you gave me
That longing look
Across the hymnbooks and the canvas chairs
The longing look you gave me
That longing look
More than enough to keep me fed all year
Harvest festival
