Man falls from the pursuit of the ideal of plan living and high thinking the moment he wants to multiply his daily wants. Man's happiness really lies in contentment.

Those only are happy who have their minds fixed on some object other than their own happiness: on the happiness of others, on the improvement of mankind, even on some art or pursuit followed not as a means, but as itself an ideal end. Aiming at something else, they find happiness by the way.

Grace the world with your glow of happiness
Do not chase happiness
Search within you
There are lot many things
Inside you
Which have reasons
To make you happy
You pursuit or search for happiness outside
Does not take you anywhere
As what seemingly has a stock of happiness
Once you reach or achieve it
You realize that happiness
Lies further ahead somewhere
And you hunt for happiness
Takes a new turn
And this goes on and on
Only to make you understand
That you are back in square one
Devoid of happiness, your original search
Happiness, thus, cannot be anywhere else
But within you
Do not be on a stealthy stalk for happiness
Simply because others do so
Search within and discover
The happiness in you
Do not be on a race for happiness
But grace the world
With the glow of
Happiness within you

Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.

Strange Pursuit
Intersecting love lines
Drew us closer every day
Always kept your distance
When you felt my presence near you
Love keeps on rolling over
Fly in retreat
I would follow without shame
A stupid spud staggering to the flame
To be had and rehad
Be a victim of the pain
Now its strange, its so strange
Its a strange pursuit
Its a strange pursuit
Its a strange pursuit
I come running like a fatboy
In lead shoes
But like a fatboy
Huff puffing after you
Its hopeless to hope for
The one thing that Im wanting
cause its strange
Its so very strange
Its a strange pursuit
Darling, Im dazzled
But you know Im too frazzled
Its a strange pursuit
Makin my mind up
While it lies in little pieces
Its a strange pursuit
You know its getting tough
When youre getting real rough
Its a strange pursuit
Darling, Im dazzled
But you know Im too frazzled
Its a strange pursuit
Makin my mind up
While it lies in little pieces
It s a strange pursuit

This Moment Of Happiness
If happiness only lies
In a place we don't exist
And only future days
Are one’s we miss
If satisfaction never comes
And dreams are unattained
Then you sacrificed your happiness
And only you’re to blame
The moment that we’re living
Should be lived with no regret
Don't let reaching for the future
Have you to obsessed
Find happiness
While you have your health
The evidence from pleasing others is
You may not please yourself

What Are We Really Living For?
What are we really living for?
If we don't seek love.
What are we living for?
If inside we can't be happy.
We're living for,
The pursuit of it...
And some people think,
It is a ship coming in.
And all they have to do is sit and giggle and grin.
What are we really living for?
Does it get to show.
What are we really living for?
Who on Earth knows.
What are we really living for?
Is it for upheavel.
What are we really living for?
Or a treated evil.
What are we really living for?
Deceit and disbelief.
What are we really living for?
Or for other people.
What are we really living for?
To meet and greet.
What are we really living for?
Does it get to show.
What are we really living for?
Who on Earth knows.
What are we really living for?
Is it for upheavel.
What are we really living for?
Or a treated evil.
What are we really living for?
Or, are we too blind...
What are we really living for?
To see we're here...
And are together on the right scene.
We just don't want to know what it means...
To Let go, Let God, and let happiness,
Be released!
What are we really living for?
If we don't seek love.
What are we really living for?
If inside,
We can't-be-happy.
Are we really living for,
The pursuit of it...
And some people think,
It is a ship coming in.
And all they have to do is sit and giggle and grin.
What are we really living for?
Not for snicks and giggles.
What are we really living for?
Not for snicks and giggles.
What are we really living for?
Not for snicks and giggles.
What are we really living for?
Not for snicks and giggles.

Beauty in Sorrow
Find beauty in sorrow. This is what I have painstakingly learned, and hope that it should never be forgotten. I have placed so much value in “happiness, ” and invested endlessly in it at a very high cost, but what I know now is that I have been grossly mistaken. Shifting gears to walk down a different road will be painful, and I will mourn the loss of the notions that have formerly brought me comfort. However, this change is none-the-less necessary, to live my life in light of my more matured definition of contentment. Pure happiness, as a conclusion to this chapter of my living, seems to me as an empty space would seem: sickeningly bland, with no shadow or contrast, like the taste of plain yogurt. I, therefore, have scrapped the idea of happiness as my ends, my ultimate goal, and replaced it with a new search, which, fantastically squashing happiness...is meaning.

Freedom? (Lies)
You said living meant that I was free
this freedom that you speak off
is false and unreal
freedom to breath tainted air
freedom to live in despair
and freedom to die a death pre-planed
where is this freedom that you speak off?
all lies that appear to be truth
come on tell it to me straight
where not free will never be free
unless you kill yourself
plan your own death
will you be free then?
or was that part of a plan?
don't shove lies down my throat
that are short one grain of truth
who can I trust then?
If im all part of gods plan?
if im just a pawn
what then?
do I keep living
until he strikes me down?
or to go aginst his plan
and die right now?

A Message To The 77 Years Olds.
I passed 77 years old yesterday,
Looking forward peace, self confidence & health in every way.
This will be the 12th 7 year cycle for me,
When joy for ever should start and I am happy to be with Thee.
I let go all the misery of the past,
Open my mind for true happiness at last,
Let come everything to me easily,
Never more problems, just the best of life daily.
I open my mind to be able to handle everything
With ease and enjoyment under God's wing.
Let come what was meant to me from the beginning,
Live my life in true happiness & my praises I gratefully sing.
Believe it or not this message was meant
For all who passed 77 years age,
Do your best to find true contentment
And happiness in your life's voyage.
Let go the destroying will,
Let God guide and show you how to stand still.
Let peace, kindness & contentment be your guide,
Be a traveler of life's road, let God give you the ride.

Check out the Declaration of Independence You think it promises happiness No no no, it talks about the pursuit of happiness. The PURSUIT We've become a nation of wimps We think we're entitled to everything, we want to legislate ourselves into some cozy little cocoon. Well, forget it, Nature Boy. There are no guarantees. Life is nasty, brutish, and short.

Makin' A Plan
Out in the land where my dreams flew around
I bulldozed the trees and set my feet on the ground
Put a day in and a week would come out
I didn't have time for doubt
Then when the whole thing went down the drain
I learned that the future don't always obey
Now I'm afraid to get back in the pool
Somehow I'd feel like a fool
Makin' a Plan
Makin' a Plan
High in the morning with climbing to do
High in the turrets I'm thinking of you
Everybody says it's all for the best
Somehow I wouldn't have guessed
Little dominions turn into dust
Schemes blow away on a breeze of mistrust
I'm not feeling sorry for little ol' me
But I'm not about to be
Makin' a Plan
Makin' a Plan
Stop

In Far Too Many Numbers They Rise (In Answer To Maya Angelou)
There are many facts in history
of people both ignorant and wise;
at times I look with incredulity
at how people multiply to rise
having as many children as they can do,
with diarrhoea, living in gloom,
with blown up bellies where food run through,
living in the very red-brown dirt in doom
without a look of hope in their eyes
where president-for-life dictators govern
with an iron rod, not hearing weakened cries,
while for civilization, for food they yearn;
where platinum, gold and copper mines
are sold to the Chinese, are from the country apart,
while parts of Africa goes into total decline
and to make a living is extremely hard.
Does this poem of mine offend you?
Unfortunately I do not deal in lies,
unfortunately these facts are very true
and to some people it’s no surprise
as AIDS, poverty, pestilence runs as a black tide
that comes in unstoppable waves of pain
from which very few of the poorest people can hide,
as far too many deaths happen again and again
and from this destruction very few get clear
while for something better they constantly crave
as their daily lives are always lived in fear,
as far too many go to a very early grave.
Still people multiply to rise under blue harsh skies
in far too many numbers, to never be free,
from lives that many of them do despise,
from lives lived in constant poverty.

Turned on.
Punch in any number,
But before you do,
Let me insinuate some things to subtract, add, multiply, & divide.
First, add the years you've spent selling yourself like a Muslim marriage plan.
Second, subtract the dignity diminishing as each year goes by.
Third, divide the spermicide
Eating at your pride
You have no access to happiness
Divide the children pertinent to each man
Don't get too shocked now.
Gotta get to work.
Divide, divide, divide.
Fourth, multiply the times spent with your legs open
Like a 24-hour convenience store.
And what did you get?
A man's spermicide
Eating at your pride
Making babies like you're taking a shit
Subtracting your dignity
In addition to the years spent selling yourself like a Muslim marriage plan.
All of this - for a man's convenience.
Now I know why you hate math.

“The Moment” in my ears while I
Sit in front of my monitor
Typing these verses, stopping once
In awhile to sip a diet tea
And read an interesting short
Piece from my monthly magazine
Scientific American
Ricocheting sleet off the pane
Made me aware of the weather
Only for a moment, mind you,
Then back again to poking keys.
“The Moment” has timely ended
And so too has my contentment.

Poetry And I
Scars are poetic
Poetry tells the story
The whole was broken
The break is painful
Pain is sadistic
Sadness is poetic
Poetry is healing
Healing is helpful
Help is all I need
Need is what drives me home
Home is where air breathes
Breath is what makes this girl beat
Beat is what life's done
Done, was me giving up
Up was where I was headed
Up is where I'm headed...I think
Thought is what drills me deep
Deep is where my mind lies
Lies make my conscience sigh
Sighs make my guilt rise
Rise lifts me off the floor
Floors gravitate me
Me is sky-bound high
High is a pseudo haven
Haven is poetic
Poetry is my tunnel's light
Light, my journey's dream
Dream, my breath's pursuit
Pursuit, my happiness search
Search, my hunt for love
Love is poetic
Poetry is me.

When It Falls, It Falls All Over You
Selling papers on the corner,
I saw a man yesterday.
I asked him if hed wanna
Tell me what made him this way.
He said, when its born, its warm,
Then it gathers strength in lies,
When it falls, it falls all over you.
He used to pick his friends.
They left him in the end.
An easy thing to lose,
The right to pick and choose.
When its born, its warm,
Then it gathers strength in lies,
When it falls, it falls all over you.
He said he left his wife,
The back-bone of his life.
Another came along,
But now I guess shes gone.
When its born, its warm,
Then it gathers strength in lies,
When it falls, it falls all over you.
I think I used to see
That old man on tv,
Can you be the same?
It seems like such a shame.
When its born, its warm,
Then it gathers strength in lies,
When it falls, it falls all over you.
The world he thought he knew,
Has better things to do.
As I went on my way
I thought I heard him say:
When its born, its warm,
Then it gathers strength in lies,
When it falls, it falls all over you.

But Truth Will Not...
Space has all the silent approval,
truth will not multiply.
Another funeral takes place
in the barren field of lies.
Fire burns the life’s hopes,
while town mourns the death.
Sunshine bakes the eyes
but truth will not multiply.
Desireless peak of thoughts
sets out the smoke,
towards our homes,
trampling the shame, guilt and hurts.
We were still indulging in useless talk
but truth will not multiply.
Virtue has a unique impulse
a drone in the ears.
Fog was waiting for the sky.
The planet empties a bucket of sorrow.
I will favour the faceless name,
but truth will not multiply.
