The finest plans have always been spoiled by the littleness of them that should carry them out. Even emperors can't do it all by themselves.

Plans
My plans
Like finest sands
Slipped through my hands.
Trips
Emotional clips
From our film unmade.
Died in agony
Where they layed.
In limbo
In the shade
- Of our sun
That never shone.
What isn't here
Is surely gone.
Our plans
Like silver gossamer strands
From Aphrodite's hair.
Glittered in wizards hands
With magic everywhere.
Frittered by twist of fate
As dangerous moonlight lay in wait.
Our spell was broken
I was awoken
Drifting out to sea.
Alone
Just my map and me.
In that mist of tranquility.
That tied my hands.
There died my plans
That were never meant to be.

The governments of the present day have to deal not merely with other governments, with emperors, kings and ministers, but also with the secret societies which have everywhere their unscrupulous agents, and can at the last moment upset all the governments' plans.

Ginger cat (Villanelle)
I am a spoiled, lazy ginger cat
I am lying on the sofa all day long
And yes, i am a cat that is very fat
I am posh and proud to be your pet
I n your eyes i never do wrong
I am a spoiled, lazy ginger cat
I will not chase that dirty rat
I am OK, on the sofa is were i belong
And yes, i am a cat that is very fat
You can bash the rat with a bat
Cook him in a pot, feed him to Mr Chong
I am a spoiled, lazy ginger cat
Other cats see me and they frat
I am a top cat, i lead with a midnight song
And yes i am a cat that is very fat
I am that fat cat who sat on the mat
all morning, until you heard the gong
I am a spoiled, lazy ginger cat
And yes, i am a cat that is very fat

Spoiled Girl
(simon/kunkel/payne)
When you got a pretty boy
You want a smart one
When you got a smart one
You want him pretty
When you got one whos all over you
You wish hed hold back
Then when hes being cool
You want him to attack
Spoiled girl, living in her own world
Spoiled girl, thinks of nothing but herself
Someones there to cut her hair
Will you wear it up or down
What, no bubbles for the bath?
Send the chauffeur into town
Youll have fun tonight
Now youre gonna call him up
hi? you say Ill call you back?
He waits and waits but no such luck
Spoiled girl, living in her own world
Spoiled girl, thinks of nothing but herself
When you want her, you cant have her
When you need her you cant find her
She is busy keeping dizzy with the business of a little
Spoiled girl, living in her own world
Spoiled girl, thinks of nothing but herself

Snake Woman
* (Poem supposed to be written in the shape of a snake)
She coiled 'round my neck,
And foiled all my plans,
We toiled and tussled and spoiled our glands.

Making Plans
You say tomorrow youre going
Its so hard for me to believe
Im making plans for the heartaches
cause youre making plans to leave
The tears for me will be falling
Like a tree shedding its leaves
Im making plans for the tear drops
cause youre making plans to leave
Youre making plans to forget me
Im making plans to miss you
Im getting ready ti grieve
Im making plans to be lonesome
cause youre making plans to leave
Im making plans to be lonesome
cause youre making plans to leave

You've Been Spoiled
Yes.
You've been spoiled.
And I...
No longer guess...
I am the reason and cause of it.
From the very beginning,
When I gifted you...
With my best 'anyone' could get.
And delivered that to you,
So happy you were.
And to me that was expressed.
Yes.
You've been spoiled.
And I...
No longer guess...
I am the reason and cause of it.
I feel it each time,
When you rush to find...
What it is I've left.
Believing it easy and simple for me...
To create for you something great.
Something to leave your mind teased and pleased.
You've been spoiled and that is because of me!
And now my very best...
Gets less of your attention,
With your inquisitive curiousness.
Now you get upset with a disrespect...
If you find an undotted 'i' or an uncrossed 't',
As you closely inspect.
Yes.
You've been spoiled.
And I...
No longer guess...
I am the reason and cause of it.
I am the reason,
You now mumble your indignities...
To me,
Under your breath!

I haven't turned into some rich monster. I've kept my perspective. But I am a bit spoiled. It's hard not to be a little spoiled by having a lot of money.

A spoiled son becomes a gambler, while a spoiled daughter becomes a harlot.
It was morning; through the high window I saw the pure, bright blue of the sky as it hovered cheerfully over the long roofs of the neighboring houses. It too seemed full of joy, as if it had special plans, and had put on its finest clothes for the occasion.

I Confess
It is true.
I confess.
I have been spoiled.
And My Father,
The Almighty...
Knows this confession best.
When I feel I have a need,
And I please My Father...
With deeds I attempt,
And some not successfully...
My Father decides,
To then surprise.
It is true.
I confess.
I have been spoiled.
And My Father,
The Almighty...
Knows this confession best.
When I pray each day,
And express my gratefulness...
I don't take for granted,
Those blessings from My Father...
I know from Him I get.
When I find I struggle,
And I am wet with sweat...
I am comforted by My Father,
Who then allows...
My peace and rest.
It is true.
I confess.
I have been spoiled.
And My Father,
The Almighty...
Knows this confession best.
Before Him I place no 'thing' I value more.
Before My Father,
I profess a love for him that is adored.
My loyalty and devotion,
Is given without thought.
And My Father and I...
Tackle those obstacles,
He assists me to abort.
It is true.
I confess.
I have been spoiled.
And My Father,
The Almighty...
Knows this confession best.
And nothing do I have do I take for granted.
I know from 'WHOM' my gifts have come.
I know from 'WHOM' has 'allowed' this to be done!
It is true.
I confess.
I have been spoiled.
And My Father,
The Almighty...
Knows this confession best.

Carry On
The north star always guides me
When winter skies are gray
And I wait for sun when all are one
I shall not betray
Calling at me
I'm waiting when all are led astray
Carry on my sons forever
Carry On when I am gone
Carry On when the day is long
Forever Carry On
For as long as we're together
Then forever Carry On
Darkness all around us
We don't close our eyes
No one's gonna ground us
We were burn to fly
Comin'at us no stopping
Born to amplify
Carry on my sons forever
Carry On when I am gone
Carry On when the day is long
Forever Carry On
For as long as we're together
Then forever Carry On
Yea

Carry You
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
If I can walk on water
And calm a restless sea
I've done a thousand things you've never done
And I'm weary watchin'
While you struggle on your own
Call my name, I'll come
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I give vision to the blind
And I can raise the dead
I've seen the darker side of Hell
And I returned
And I see these sleepless nights
And I count every tear you cry
I know some lessons hurt to learn
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I will carry you, my child
I see these sleepless nights
And I count every tear you cry
And call my name, I'll come runnin'
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I will carry you, my child, my child
I will carry you

Ruined
Soft and spoiled
apples cling to shifting limb,
foregoing taut skin
for molten brown,
when night winds
carry them down
to invest
with teardropp seeds
the unsuspecting
grassy ground.

The Finest Gift
verse one
She can shop all over town, turn the gift
Shops upside down
Finding something for her man with everything
But it's right behind her eyes and no matter what she buys
She'll always be the finest gift she brings
Chorus
Every year it's never missed, should be at
The top of every list
It can never be outdone,it's the perfect
Gift for everyone
Verse two
It's in everything you'll see scattered
Underneath our tree
You can hear it in the carols that we sing
It's the heart of love's design and it
Appreciates with time
And she'll always be the finest gift she brings
(repeat chorus)
Verse three
Now it's not in any store and she could
Never give me more
Then her promise of the finest gift she brings
I know her love's the finest gift she brings

Carry on
When the valley's deep
I'll be strong
With a mighty love to
Carry on
Never sleep til' the new day dawns
There's a new breeze blowin' tonight
Clear away the past
Honey, free at last
Yes, I've paid for the choices I've made
No apologies from me
You know I'll never, no
Never lose my will
Never, never standin' still
I'll carry on
When the valley's deep I'll be strong
With a mighty love to carry on
Never sleep til' the new day dawns
I carry on
I stand alone in the eye of the storm
Pressures all around
Tryin' to wear me down
But it's all right
I won't give up the fight
I said, "Lord, lift me up!"
Let me rise above
I'll never
Nobody's gonna take my pride
I won't stop
I will not be denied
Carry on
When the valley's deep I'll be strong
With a mighty love to carry on, carry on
I'll never sleep till the new day dawns
I carry on
I won't let, I won't let nothing hold me
No, no I won't let
Won't let nothing hold me back
I won't stop now
Carry on, I'll carry on
Yes, I'll carry
I'll carry on, yeah
Yes I'll carry
Carry on, I'm gonna carry on
Yes, I'll carry
Carry on
Don't carry on without me
I said I'll never
Nobody's gonna take my pride
I won't stop I will not be denied
Carry on
When the valley's deep
I'll be strong with the mighty love to
Carry on, carry on
I'll never sleep till the new day dawns
When the valley's deep
Just carry on
I'll carry on
When the mountain's too high
You gotta carry on
I'll carry on
With the mighty love
I'll never sleep
I'll carry on till the new day dawns

Maybe Your Baby
Im feelin down and some kind of lonely,
Cause my baby done left me here,
Hearts blazing like a five alarm fire
And I dont even give a care
I feel like the world is turnin on me,
My dreams turnin to ashes right in front of my face,
And Im gettin kind of worried,
And I feel so out of place,
Maybe your baby done made some other plans,
Maybe your baby done made some other plans.
(background) . . I feel like cryin, yeh, yeh
Maybe baby, baby, baby, baby, baby
In the mornin when Ive got heartache,
I cant call up the doctor for help,
Cause the only person that could ever do me any good,
Is steppin out with my best friend.
I feel like Im slippin deeper,
Slippin deeper into myself,
And I cant take it,
This stuff is scarin me to death,
Maybe your baby done made some other plans,
Kinda makin me worried,
Maybe your baby done made some other plans,
Little sally walker, sittin in a saucer,
Checkin out the guys that are passing by,
(background)...by, by, by, by...
Maybe your baby done made some other plans
Maybe your baby done made some other plans,
Not includin future plans,
Maybe your baby done made some other plans,
Maybe my baby done made some other plans,
Maybe my baby done made another plan
With another man. your baby, your baby, stupid baby, your baby,
That you put so trust so much trust in your baby,
Maybe your baby done made some other plans.
