A Song For Kilts

How grand the human race would be
If every man would wear a kilt,
A flirt of Tartan finery,
Instead of trousers, custom built!
Nay, do not think I speak to joke:
(You know I'm not that kind of man),
I am convinced that all men folk.
Should wear the costume of a Clan.

Imagine how it's braw and clean
As in the wind it flutters free;
And so conducive to hygiene
In its sublime simplicity.
No fool fly-buttons to adjust,--
Wi' shanks and maybe buttocks bare;
Oh chiels, just take my word on trust,
A bonny kilt's the only wear.

'Twill save a lot of siller too,
(And here a canny Scotsman speaks),
For one good kilt will wear you through
A half-a-dozen pairs of breeks.
And how it's healthy in the breeze!
And how it swings with saucy tilt!
How lassies love athletic knees
Below the waggle of a kilt!

True, I just wear one in my mind,
Since sent to school by Celtic aunts,
When girls would flip it up behind,
Until I begged for lowland pants.
But now none dare do that to me,
And so I sing with lyric lilt,--
How happier the world would be
If every male would wear a kilt!

Kilts, Ye Ken

Noo, ye ken, we'll see 'em agen,
Waggling doon the street,
While the baton twirls an' the piper skirls
To the beat of the marching feet.
Left - right - glimmerin' bright,
Buttons and cairngorms shine;
While the pipes give forth 'The Cock o' the North'
Ho! The kilts are in the line!

Far an' faint ye hear the plaint
Comin' adoon the breeze,
Closer it comes, wi' the crackle o' drums
An' the lift o' the naked knees.
Left - right - was ever a sight
Finer by burn or glen?
Wi' the tunes ye know, like the auld 'Keel Row'
Tis the march o' the Cameron men.

Pageantry it ever shall be
An asset in any land.
But the lad who's built to carry a kilt
Losh, mon! But he is grand;
Steppin' along to some auld song
Or a war chant tipped wi' flame.
'Tis the kilt - the kilt! An' the pibroch's lilt
Callin' us - callin' us hame.

Perfect Harmony

Perfect harmony, lets put it all together.
Every piece fits right.
But do we have the time.
Never enough, always wanted more.
Its Pandora's door.
Once its open i can never be closed.
So exposed.

Perfect harmony, the dominoes have be lined up.
One flick of the finger and watch them all fall,
all the hopes and dreams stolen by a perfect harmony.
Why does it have to be routine.
Why not a little chaos in the order.
That way when that person tries to destroy it.
It ends in failure.
You cant sink a ship that's already sinking.
Time to jump ship once again.

Perfect harmony creates a melody of tragedy.
Still we search for it.
Knowing we will lose it all again.
Cause soon or later you got lose.
In the end the house always wins.
Get out while the getting is good.
I really think you should.
Perfect harmony indefinitely.
Is there even such a reality.
Has the wind been forever knocked out of me.
I think not cause chaos is my order.

The dove act? I'm still working on it. I don't think it's perfect yet. I got my first pair of doves when I was 14 years old. That was the beginning of the formation of that act. So it's been 24 years now that I've been working on it.

My advice to an aspiring actor would be to never stop learning or working for what you want. Nothing comes easy, ever, if you want something, you have to work for it. By working for it I mean work on your craft, learn from people who have something to teach. It's just like anything else, practice makes perfect.

L.A.P.D.

I'm posing on the sidewalk. Here's where I'm
working at night. They're also working at
night. They know I've known it all along.
They want me of the street. They're getting out
of the car. They try to corner me in.
LAPD, why are they always after me.
There's blue on every corner. How am I
supposed to make a living? They never leave
me alone. They are as cold as stone.
They really don't give a damn about
the person I am. I run as fast as I can.
All these accusations, what are you trying to

goddamn summer. If I had the choice to live a
