In time I began to understand that it's when you start writing that you really find out what you don't know and need to know.

When I’m lonely

When I’m lonely
i think for bit,
why do i feel
this bitter loneliness

When I’m lonely
I see people around me
MAKING ME feel
more lonely & everything
still seems the same

When I'm lonely
I sit at home
hold my pen,
take my copybook
& start writing poems
writing what sad life i have

When I'm lonely
I scream at the world
why people become more
selfish & betrayers
Why do I have to be lonely,
Is there no one can understand Me

When I’m lonely
I imagine there is Only
Me in this world,
Just me being lonely
it's better than being with people,
Cause there is no one
Can understand Me

When I’m lonely
I close my eyes,
and I hope to wake up
To surprise,
I hope to find
Some one who'd truely understand Me
Not loneliness to guide me

When I’m lonely
I Come close from God
and then i find that
there is nothing better than
being close from God,
Cause there is no one can understand
except the God,

.................When I’m lonely
..............I put a fake smile on my
.......Face and cheat the
.........................whole world by it.

I decided that now is the time to start doing the things that really interest me and I find important. It was in the 10 years of the MacArthur grant that I began working on my first book... and I began putting more work into environmental history.

Ive Got A Way Of My Own

(ransford)
Everything round them is spinning and turning
But they cant understand
People around me just never stop learning
About the things that Ive planned
Ive got a way, way of my own
Just look around them they better start thinking
People will lend a hand
They better watch it or else theyll start sinking
With their heads in the sand
Ive got a way, way of my own
Come back, when youve time for the world
You must think theyd dont need anyone, no no
Come back, when youve time for the world
They might find what theyre looking for
They might find what theyre looking for
I cant believe that the reason theyre giving
Will entice me to go
Why they deny me the right to start living
Ill just never know
Ive got a way, way of my own

When I began writing science fiction in the middle '60s, it seemed very easy to find ideas that took decades to percolate into the cultural consciousness; now the lead time seems more like eighteen months.

Paul Simon

I write from instinct, from inexplicable sparkle. I don't know why I'm writing what I'm writing. Usually, I sit and I let my hands wander on my guitar. And I sing anything. I play anything. And I wait till I come across a pleasing accident. Then I start to develop it. Once you take a piece of musical information, there are certain implications that it automatically contains — the implication of that phrase elongated, contracted, or inverted or in another time signature. So you start with an impulse and go to what your ear likes.

And So I'm Writing...

I'm hard-pressed for time,
yet I do have the heart
And so I'm writing
Know not what to pen down,
have a paper to write on
And so I'm writing

May be I'll write about 'you and me'
Or may be of 'us and them'
Feel like playing with words
And so I'm writing

May be that starving beggar's hungry looks
Or that homeless Child's beckoning eyes
Are making me scribble these lines to you
And so I'm writing

May be you'll find my words vague
Or you might decipher a meaning
Intend to leave you in the oblivion
And so I'm writing

Whatever might be the impression I create
Wish to see its reflection on your soul
And leave an imprint on your mind
And so I'm writing

May be you and I've become immune
To the pathos of mankind
Or may be there's still
A dropp of humanity flowing deep within us
Wish to arouse 'The Human Being' in you
And so I'm writing...

Change Of Heart

(eric carmen)
I can still recall
When we said that our love was forever
All those plans we made
For tomorrow that looked so bright
And I understand
All the reasons you gave me for leavin
But that doesnt help
When Im sleepin alone each night
So if you ever have a change of heart
Just remember its not too late to start
If you still believe in what love can do
I could find someone
More than willing to be your replacement
But theres no one else
Who can move me the way you do
So for now, goodbye
But if ever you find you still want me
You just call my name
cause Ill always be here for you
So if you ever have a change of heart
Just remember its not too late to start
If you still believe in what love can do
Nothing you could ever do
Would change the things I know
Deep in my heart
So I got to make you understand before I go
Sooner or later
I dont know when
Im gonna get you back
In my arms again
And if you ever have a change of heart
Just remember its not too late to start
If you still believe in what love can do
And if you ever have a change of heart
Just remember its not too late to start
If you still believe in what love can do
And if you ever have a change of heart
Just remember its not too late to start
If you still believe in what love can do

Hey Dad

Hey Dad, where you been for so long?
Why won't you look at me?
Is there something wrong?
Do you remember me, the son that you conceived?
Why won't you look at me?
A son that you deceived.
Oh God, what did I do to deserve this?
A man I never knew.
A man I cannot miss.
I gave you many chances, many that you took.
And now I stand before you,
You won't even look.
How can we start all over when we never began?
How can you be a father,
When you're not even a man?
Why do you play these games?
That are in my head
You said you'd love me dearly,
but it looks like he's dead.
Oh God, what did I do to deserve this?
A man I never knew.
A man I cannot miss.
How can we start all over when we never began?
How can you be a father,
When you're not even a man?
Why do you play these games?
That are in my head
You said you'd love me dearly,
but it looks like he's dead. (hey dad, hey dad)
So then came kids of my own.
I was there for them.
I am the man you couldn't be. (I didn't learn from him.)
Where he is, I don't even know at all.
I don't even remember,
The last time he called.
How can we start all over?
How can we start all over?
How can we start all over?
How can we start all over?
Hey Dad.

The Show...

in this Act, of this Scene
you are not the Actor, you are
the Spectator,
they will use the language that
you do not understand
it is not the first time that
they do this,
neither is it the first time that
you will hear them,
they have been here for so many
years, but you were then so busy
and you speak the language
of the restless, and the
fenced,
the world of cubicles

they do not demand much from you
they understand and they
ask that you must try to understand too

there is no effort
there must be no effort at all
just sit there and relax
in here
they start with the reverse

they start with the Ending
and there is No Beginning
when the Curtains fall and
when the other Spectators clap
when their eyes close
and when there hands are put
crossing their breasts

then the Show begins to unfold
and then Everyone will be
lost.

Speed Of Sound

Oh when you see it then youd understand
If you could see it then youd understand
Birds come flying from the underground
To show you how it all began
And the earths gone flying at the speed of sound
Oooh
Some get made, and some get send
Some things you cant invent
All those signs, I knew what they meant
Oh when you see it then youd understand
Refr.
But others are puzzles, puzzling me
Some things you have to believe
All the land that I couldnt see
The sign that I couldnt read
Japan and China all lit up
All the buildings that you put up
All the inventors could never design
Ideas that youll never find
If you could see it then youd understand
Birds come flying from the underground
To show you how it all began
And the earths gone flying at the speed of sound
And all those spaces, I got found
And all that noise, all that sound
Refr:
Before I see things that I made up
Ill start before I can stop
With my head stuck under the sand
How long am I gonna stand
If the chance that you get, is the chance you seize
Climb up, up in the trees
Planets are moving at the speed of light
Look up, I look up at night
Up on the side of this mountain of mine
How long do I have to climb
If you never try, then you never know
Where to, where do I go
Before I know what it feels like
How long before you decide
Before it starts, before I begin
How long before I get in

Writing To

Writing to feel
Writing to heal
Writing to steal
Writing every emotion..
With such a white background.
It makes no sound
Even as the keys I pound.
Let my words have bite
Let from my words drip out meanings beyond meanings
Its something I try to be constantly be achieving.

Writing to feel
Writing to heal
Writing to steal
I want every heart and mind
Sucked in cause this is my world stage
No sense of the time.
Never to turn the page
Stuck in to a world oh so oh so fine

Writing to feel
Writing to heal
Writing to steal
Listen to her melody, as she sings.
Let chaos reign down from the skies
What will this day really bring?
Will the letter say good bye?
Will it mend everything?

Making everything better.
Destroying all the consequences
That exist in your world.
Welcome to the place I visit daily.
Inspirational maddness,
It attacks, attacks, and attacks.
With perfect sadness
I must let go once more.
And then the words hit the floor

Writing to feel
Writing to heal.
Writing to steal.
Becoming one with my soul.
Fighting for its one and only control.
Its mine, Its mine. Its mine.
In this reality it subsequently is not
A constant questioning of what?

Writing to feel
Writing to heal.
Writing to steal.
With every sound, taste, and light.
The worlds get get oh so oh so bright
Understand that which is not so forthright
This is my night, and day.
So come on join me, please this way.

Love Poets

The love poets sit and write psalms or
songs with the extension of their palms
they sit and wait untill they catch a glimpse of you
Because girls like you are the inspiration
The poet is dying to find a way to re-create your beauty
but what we create can only do so much as to aleviate
The stress that builds on our chest,
I feel it everytime i sit beside you
I jot down lyrics each time i sight you
and if i could slip you this kiss you
could circle yes, no or maybe, despite who might see

Your the inspiration that keeps me writing without end
You make me wish i had and unlimited amount of ink in this pen
because each time i write a poem, and you that its about
I start describing why i love you, and the ink in my pen just runs out
You could say im a love poet, but what
would these be without you.
Every syllable, line, metaphor is completely about you
Just, dig through the meaning
I hope you start to understand what my feelings are
Because when i write poetry, i feel this bar set by you and i cant reach
I want to incorporate your beauty into my poems, please teach
since this lesson would take much longer than 1 session
I cant wait for you and i to continue this progression

Find Your Way Back

You know its been a long long road
Since I packed up and left on my own
And I can carry a heavy load
Just try n get back to her heart
I sure aint got no home
I seem to find love where I ramble
And when its time to go
I hear that voice again, say n
Chorus:
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Leave a message with the rain
You can find me where the wind blows
The snow across the pain
And the frost upon the heart
You got no place to be
Still you wonder where youre goin
And why I had to leave
I hear a voice and it says to me
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
To her heart, cmon
I know its too late now
But I wish I could go back in time
And start all over somehow
And get it right from the start
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Find your way back (find your way back) find your way back
Find your way back (find your way back) find your way back
Find your way back (find your way back) find your way back

We Can Start All Over Again

Writers: leo sayer, bruce roberts & tom snow
Oo babe, what can I say to you
Change what youre feelin inside?
Oo babe, Ive got to get close to you
Please dont cast me aside
You know I hate to see you lookin so sad
I cant stand to watch this good love go bad
Lets stop and think about the good times that we had
We can start it all (start it all) all over again
And we can have it all (have it all) just a one more time
We can start it all (start it all) all over again, oo, oo, oo, oo
Oo babe, dont look that way at me
You know youre breakin my heart
Oo babe, Im as sorry as I can be
Dont let this tear us apart
Now lets forget about the tears that we cried
Its gone, there aint nothin to hide
Come on baby, why cant we give it one more try?
We can start it all (start it all) all over again
And we can have it all (have it all) just a one more time
We can start it all (start it all) all over again, oo, oo, oo, oo
Just think about it babe, oo, oo, oo, oo
Just think about it babe
Oo baby, I acted like a fool
You just trust me baby and Ill make it up to you
I see your smiles returnin
I know you understand
Come on baby
All you got to do is take my hand
I love you baby, were gonna start it all again
Well have it down like nothin before, ah
One more time, we can start it all (start it all) all over again
We can have it all (have it all) yeah evrything
We can start it all (start it all) all over again
We can have it all (have it all) yeah everything

I Come Alive In Writing

I come alive in writing
Even if the writing means nothing to anyone else-
I come alive in writing
Even if I am totally deluding myself as to its value-
I come alive in writing
Even if at times while writing there is an underlying hopelessness and despair -

I come alive in writing
As if writing is what God has given me to do-
I come alive in writing
As if through it I can truly give to and help others-
I come alive in writing
As if life has meaning through it-

I come alive in writing
Even when I sense the writing is not good or great
As I would wish it to be.

In A Spin

My inspiration has thrown me in a spin
instead of writing one poem a day
I have now been writing six or seven.
After a few weeks of that
you could say I need a break
or at least cut down a bit.
Of course that is easier said than done,
the poems still come tumbling out,
so out comes the pen, and paper
and I start writing again
always asking will it ever end.
Maybe one day the river will run dry
and I’ll suddenly have a drought.

Circling Around The Moon

There may come a day when you grow weary
Troubled waters stain the paper cup
From other venues other voices carry
Slipped dreams soaking into thirsty dust
Maybe then and there youll find another
Lover with a blank and empty heart
Filled with breath and old cells to discover
Strenght to push the seas apart
Chorus:
On the day we met
I began to want you
On the day we met
I began to lose you too
Both of us circling around the moon
Both of us circling around the moon
There may come a day when you feel anger
China cracked and glued by clumsy hand
Veins of memory touching only hunger
The heart devours what it cannot understand
Chorus:
On the day we met
I began to want you
On the day we met
I began to lose you too
Both of us circling around the moon
Both of us circling around the moon
Maybe it whas then I saw my future
Saw it as a shadow on the ground
Beneath the earth old nails to discover
Strenght to hold my body down
Chorus:
On the day we met
I began to want you
On the day we met
I began to lose you too
Both of us circling around the moon
Both of us circling around the moon
On the day we met
I began to want you, want you
On the day we met
I began to lose you too
Both of us circling around the moon
