I was planning on my future as a homeless person. I had a really good spot picked out.

I'm not good at future planning. I don't plan at all. I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow. I don't have a day planner and I don't have a diary. I completely live in the now, not in the past, not in the future.

Abused and Not Know
Planning your life…
Concerning another…
Ain’t that a mother…
That person whom you…
Think you know…
In and out of your life…
No other place to go…
Being pulled by the wind…
Over and over…
Again and again…
The word…is out…
You are like a mother…
Hen…but yeah…
Marriage would make you…
His kin…say again…
Just another way to sin…
For your blending in…
Today…
Which is still a trend…
Jumping the broom…
No matter what name…
Abuse is a damn shame…
Planning your life…
And trying to keep some spice…
How wrong is nice…
How right is wrong…
Abuse is strong…
Crying or singing…
A song…
Do you really know the person…
For which…you wish…to share…
Damn…I do declare…
Is it to me…
Am I fair…
“I’m in love I don’t care”
I won’t listen to hear-say…
I won’t let my heart run-away…
In my life I want him to stay…
Not really concerned about his play…
I think…with…me…
It’s okay…
I have closed the mouth…
Of my woman inside…
Maybe I don’t have any pride…
Planning…and waiting…
Waiting and planning…

When I was living in New York and didn't have a penny to my name, I would walk around the streets and occasionally I would see an alcove or something. And I'd think, that'll be good, that'll be a good spot for me when I'm homeless.

Beyond the present
It took forever to spend the last few years
I wanted to take life beyond, to the future
But now as i head towards fate, I have a fear
What if its not what i see?
Now i regret, now if i could relieve the gone moments
The ones i spent in planning this day
But now m fed up of this planning and think
Is it even gonna be that way?
I'm tired of thinking got no zeal to act
Enjoy life as it comes, now tis a proven fact
I know why i wanna go back
M scared of the future
And i dnt have memories to rejuvenate my soul
And no close mates to share life with
well, i can't look back as time has pushed me to the brink
the ocean's out there, here i am, ready to sink
Just a few years n future will show its face
I have been imagining a world of my own
any way I'll have to move on
but now i still do wish......
life.......either take me fast to the future end
or back...........so i relive my past.......

The Same As I
i get so tired
of writing poems
about suffering....
but everywhere i look,
all around me,
people are hurting....
and try as i might,
i cant close my eyes,
cant shut my ears up
to the sounds of need and want.
and i cannot be silent
as long as there's one person
who is not free,
one person whose rights
have been violated....
one person who is hungry,
one person who is homeless,
one person sick who cannot
get medical care....
one person abused, enslaved,
or treated like property...
i cannot, and i will not stop,
for they are the same
as i... i see their faces
every time i look in the mirror!

Homeless
Homeless;
- Down by the muddy Mississippi
Skinny as a rail,
Sleeping under the old Eads bridge
Feeling low, dirty, and frail -
Homeless;
- With less than two coins
In both pockets,
Empty eyes
Look through sunken sockets -
Homeless;
- So many people walk right on by
I wonder how many care,
They all keep moving
Even though they stare -
Homeless;
- Lost a job
Lost a home,
Lost a family
Lost all hope -
Homeless;
- Where will I go from here
What should I do,
I'm so thankful when the weather's fair
And the skies are blue -
Homeless;
- Don't know the day nor season
And, yea, it sure gets cold at night,
I've got an old sleeping bag
I'll be alright -
Homeless;
- There's so many of us out here
Without a home,
Even so
I feel so very alone -
Homeless;
- It's a tough situation
Not pretty, just true,
And at any time
It could happen to you -
Homeless;
- Hey buddy...
Could you spare a dime,
And say a prayer for us
... sometime -
- I'm just homeless, not less human...

If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.
If you are planning for a year, sow rice if you are planning for a decade, plant trees if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.
When planning for a year, plant corn. When planning for a decade, plant trees. When planning for life, train and educate people.
The Homeless Man
I reluctantly wake up to another bleary, dreary day
To see the marks from those broken shards of glass
The anxiety, stress and anger, those desperate cries for help
Wrists throbbing, trails of blood, but still on this mortal earth
Shouting, crying at the top of my voice in my head
Those voices and screams, why why, but still left unheard
A hopeless situation in a hopeless uncaring world
Why do I carry on, I do not know
For I am the homeless man
As I walk and wait for the daily metro as the shops begin to open
Looking on as shutters go up, coffees are poured
Those enticing aromas that I can ill afford
Lost in the wilderness, trying to work things out
Confused, not understanding, just want to hide myself away
Those black clouds that are looming heavily above me
To tired to care anymore, to tired to walk, to tired to care
For I am the homeless man
I am the strange man people look at whilst sneering, jeering
Walking down the road getting on with their lives
The business men that carry on with their shallow existence
Unaware and unwilling to care
Their clockwork lives telling them to carry on
Stepping over you, shouting abuse whilst you just sit there
The mothers and children merrily off to school
Complaining because you’re in the way
Why, because I am the homeless man
I wave my hand out, only wanting some small change, begging to live
Thinking whether I will I eat today, but gone without now for so long
Do I even care whether I die or live in the uncaring world
The tall buildings that are drawing me near
Looking from the rooftops above, just one more step and it will all end
Unsure of what is stopping me taking that last plunge
Is there still a glimmer of hope, a strand from a rope to hold on too
For I am the homeless man
I am the man with hidden disabilities
No sticks or wheels to burden or for people to see
But the one in my head, the other person I hate the most
The resentment and anger I have for myself
For the person I have always long to be
Now the paved streets have turned to doors and bars
The sneers and jibes, anxiety and paranoia
What will the future hold for me, we will have to see
For I am the homeless man
So next time you walk through your town or city
On your way to school, work or leisure
And maybe you will come across a homeless man, woman or child
But do not walk past or shun away
A homeless person they may be, but humans they are too
Spare a kind thought, a handshake, or some small change
Because through some misfortune
You too could also be that homeless person

You control your future, your destiny. What you think about comes about. By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be. Put your future in good hands - your own.

A person who picks something and decides to make it his own, ought to think how he would feel if he was the person who lost the property he picked.
If you are planning for one year, grow rice. If you are planning for 20 years grow trees. If you are planning for centuries, grow men.
They Don't Think So-The Rationale of Robert
I am a bad person
At least I have done bad things
I admit it.
Lied, hurt others, cheated
and things worse.
yes, I know.
All bad.
But I don't really believe that I
am a bad person.
I am a good person
who has done bad things.
Most I am sorry for;
some I am not as much
as I should.
But what am I to do?
A good person
trapped by my own bad deeds.
Should I flagellate
repent, confess?
But why?
The deeds were bad, not I.
A really good person could see that
and forgive me.
A bad person can not and will not.
So, I guess they are bad just like me.
Now that leaves the good people
who see that bad deeds are not me
and forgive.
They even may forget.
But the fact they able to do that
makes me feel inferior.
They think they are better than me
and that is bad.
So, if they make me feel bad
then they are not really good people.
So, you see the whole world is just like me
even if they don't think so.

What Can One Person Do
(n. rodgers/g. smith)
What can one person do
More than a little bit
More than a little bit
Can I fight the battle
All by myself
Can I make a miracle happen
As long as I can think
And got my health
Ill never stop
Im too strong for that
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
Everyones gotta move
What they can move
The faithful can sometimes move mountains
When your faith is right
You will never lose your heart, your hope
Or your good friends
Dont be overcome by frustrations
Live up to your highest expectations
Im tellin you just for your information
Just for, just for your information
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
Looked into my soul and suspected
That Im gonna take, gonna take on the unexpected
Walked into the fire unprotected
Walk into the fire
What can one person do
What can one person be
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me

My mark
I don't want you to cry on last day
I don't want you to cry tears of sadness
I want you to cry tears of joy
Cry cause because you remember the good things I use to do here on earth
I want you to remember my smile
My jokes
My T L C
I want you to remember me as a fighter
I want you to remember me as the most sweetest person
I want you to remember me as someone who always made you feel good
I want you remember me as the friendliest person
I want you to remember me as the person who use to light up the room
I want you to remember me
As a nice smelling perfume
I want you to remember me
As a hereon
I want you to remember me
As the most craziest person
Not in bad way but in good way
That is why I worked so hard
To became a good person
In order for you to have lots of good memories about me n less bad memories
I want to be remembered as person who left a really good mark

Look to the Future
Look to the future
Detach from the past
Let the people go
Start a new this time
Look to the future
Love like it’ll last
Dream like it’s forever
No move envy
Look to the future
Have the star life
Learn from others
Take it in
Look to the future
Be proud with yourself
No more lies
No more disguises
Look to the future
Solve the unresolved
Be someone’s firefly
Stop living for yourself
Look to the future
Be the person
You dream to be
Stop fantasizing
Look to the future
It’s only gets brighter
From here on out
Detach from the past
Look to the future

Revolution
(berry/buck/mills/stipe)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Your revolution is a silly idea, yeah
All your friends are feeling sad
Its like you need a reason to be feeling bad, yeah
You sport an armband when your good and mad, yeah
(chorus)
La, la, la, la revolution (the future never happened)
La, la, la, la revolution
I dont know why Im feeling bad, yeah
I picked up a bad vibration
Oliver north is running for senate
Bomb the abortion clinic
Reagans defense is the deficit
The virus was invented
Black man cant get acquitted
Of the crimes that we committed
The future never happened, it never happened
La, la, la, la revolution (the future never happened)
La, la, la, la, I picked up a bad vibration
Your revolution is a silly idea, yeah
You tried to look like a punk rock girl
A whole lotta sneer, and little curl
I dont have time for your theatrics
Everybody knows that youre a bad actress
Weve been sorry for great too long, yeah
But a scum is rising, yeah
(repeat chorus 2x)

Memories will always remind
People say that you have to let go of the past if you want to make it to the future,
Truth is that you will make it to the future but your memories will never fade,
Even the ones that a special person has given you,
That you just can`t earse,
Memories are one of the best things a person can have because its something to look back on for as long as you live,
Memories are ever lasting,
A story to tell,
So hold on to those memories,
For in the future as well
