Silly, Silly Fool

(kenneth gamble / leon huff)
Such a silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i
Oh, i, just a silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i
Hey, I should have never fallen
Back in love with you
Knowin how you get a pleasure
Breaking my poor heart in two
You made it sound so convincin
When you said
Im your woman, youre my man
Now I really need you
And I sit here a loser again
I guess Im just a silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i, oh i
Im such a silly, silly, silly, silly, fool am i, mmm
I should have never trusted
In my heart to lead the way
Now my mind is all busted
Thats a fools price to pay
You made it sound so convincin
When you said youd never, never go away
I should have never listened
To anything you had to say
Im such a silly, silly, silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i, yes I am
Im such a silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i, oh
Such a silly, silly, dilly, silly, dilly fool am i, oh yeah
Im such a silly, silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i, oh yes I am
Im such a silly, silly, dilly, silly, dilly, silly fool am i, oh yeah
Im such a silly, dilly, silly, dilly, silly fool am i, oh
Silly, dilly

Disease Of Conceit

Theres a whole lot of people suffering tonight from the disease of conceit
Theres a whole lot of people struggling tonight with the disease of conceit
Comes right down the highway, straight down the line
Rips into your senses, through your body and your mind
Nothing about it thats sweet
The disease of conceit
Theres a whole lot of hearts breaking tonight from the disease of conceit
Theres a whole lot of hearts shaking tonight from the disease of conceit
Steps into your room, eats into your soul
Over your senses you have no control
Aint nothing too discreet
About the disease of conceit
Theres a whole lot of people dying tonight from the disease of conceit
Theres a whole lot of people crying tonight from the disease of conceit
Comes right outta nowhere and youre down for the count
From the outside world the pressure will mount
Turn you into a piece of meat
The disease of conceit
Conceit is a disease but the doctors got no cure
They done a lot of research on it but what it is theyre still not sure
Theres a whole lot of people in trouble tonight from the disease of conceit
Theres a whole lot of people seein double tonight from the disease of conceit
If your delusions of grandeur and an evil eye
Give you the idea that youre too good to die
Then they bury you from your head to your feet
From the disease of conceit

It's A Disease

Prejudice is a disease.
Unlike deadly viruses;
West Nile and S.A.R.S
Prejudice does not harm you.
Prejudice is an alcohol,
that brain-washes you.
Makes you think some people
deserve less than you
because they are different.
Just because their skin colour is different
Or because they dress differently.
Maybe because of their differences in religion
or because of their difference in sexuality.
The truth is,
Prejudice may not be able to harm you,
But it is the deadliest disease that ever entered our planet.
It is this disease that gets people murdered,
and then some thrown in jail.
It is this disease that starts gangs against people who are different.
And it is this disease that has our world in a problem today.
So whatever you do,
Never let this disease into your body
or else you life will be gone-forever.

Silly Boy Blue

Mountains of lhasa are feeling the rain
People are walking the botella lanes
Preacher takes the school
One boy breaks a rule
Silly boy blue, blue
Silly boy blue
Yak butter statues that melt in the sun
Cannot dissolve all the work youve not done
A chela likes to feel
That his overself pays the bill
Silly boy blue, blue
Silly boy blue
You wish and wish, and wish again
Youve tried so hard to fly
Youll never leave your body now
Youve got to wait to die
La la la la la , la la , la la la la
La la la la la , la la , la la la la
La la la , la la
La la la , la la
Silly boy blue, blue
Silly boy blue
Child of tibet, youre a gift from the sun
Reincarnation of one better man
The homeward road is long
Youve left your prayers and song
Silly boy blue , blue
Silly boy blue
Silly boy blue
Silly boy blue

Have A Nice Day

'Help, help, ' said a man. 'I'm drowning.'
'Hang on, ' said a man from the shore.
'Help, help, ' said the man. 'I'm not clowning.'
'Yes, I know, I heard you before.
Be patient dear man who is drowning,
You, see I've got a disease.
I'm waiting for a Doctor J. Browning.
So do be patient please.'
'How long, ' said the man who was drowning. 'Will it take for the Doc to arrive? '
'Not very long, ' said the man with the disease. 'Till then try staying alive.'
'Very well, ' said the man who was drowning. 'I'll try and stay afloat.
By reciting the poems of Browning
And other things he wrote.'
'Help, help, ' said the man with the disease, 'I suddenly feel quite ill.'
'Keep calm.' said the man who was drowning, ' Breathe deeply and lie quite still.'
'Oh dear, ' said the man with the awful disease. 'I think I'm going to die.'
'Farewell, ' said the man who was drowning.
Said the man with the disease, 'goodbye.'
So the man who was drowning, drownded
And the man with the disease past away.
But apart from that,
And a fire in my flat,
It's been a very nice day.

Silence is Deafening

Hush, silly girl, stop breathing.
Hush, silly girl, keep it inside.

Stop, silly girl, wipe you tears.
Stop, silly girl, your crying.

Quit, silly girl, stay still.
Quit, silly girl, don’t move.

Close, silly girl, your eyes.
Close, silly girl, your mouth.

Don't, silly girl, bite my hand.
Don't, silly gril, kick my side.

Yes, silly girl, you’re mine.
Yes, silly girl, you’re mine.

I am before you.
I won’t adore you.
I control you.
You are mine.

Hush.

Silly Boy

In the days when I was young I never had to cry
If I wanted a lover I did not have to try
But I must have set my expectations far too high
Guess Im just a silly boy
I guess Im just a silly boy
There are some things about love that I dont understand
When you promise your heart you do the best you can
But no matter how I try behaving like a man
Seems Im just a silly boy
I guess Im just a silly boy
This is the last time Ill wait to stand in line
If you dont come see me Im dropping the boom on you
cause when you lose me
Then everyone will see what a silly girl can do
Dont you tell me that its over
Dont you make a sound
til I get to the river or someplace I can drown
cause I put my faith upon you and you let me down
Guess Im just a silly boy
I guess Im just a silly boy

Silly Confusion

Meet me on the moon very very soon
Meet me on the stars jupiter and mars
Fly me to a star
Burning out in space shining on my face
Fly me through the night on your silver wings
Over crystal seas valleys of the kings
By the lilac shore where the dragon flies
In the diamond skies
Silly silly confusion
And tangle of wild illusion
Were living in a wonderworld of fantasy
We spent all our times in sweet living dreams
Its a silly silly confusion
Like a flower of wild profusion
You can do the things in life
You always wanted to
Within your heart you know it always will come through
Take me for a ride in your dream-machine
To a time and place where no one has been
Let me look upon worlds Ive never seen
In your dream-machine
Fly me to a star burning out in space
Let me feel the light shining on my face
Sail on solar winds sail on silver birds
Through the universe
Silly silly confusion...
Its a silly silly confusion...
Silly silly confusion...
Its a silly silly confusion...
Silly silly confusion
Silly silly confusion

Classes and Lectures

They found adayago a silly man in the new shirt,
A really good find that kept them away and running,
To be listened to are these people who riot in heads.
A dork I mean is a terrible man who fiddles on who
The person is that stayed long at class and found at last
His intelligent look and excuse at being with the next lecture.

Silly Love Songs / Reprise

You'd Think That People Would Have Had Enought Of Silly Love Songs.
But I Look Around Me And I See It Isn't So.
Some People Wanna Fill The World With Silly Love Songs.
And What's Wrong With That?
I'd Like To Know, 'Cause Here I Go Again
I Love You, I Love You,
I Love You, I Love You.
I Can't Explain The Feeling's Plain To Me; Say Can't You See?
Ah, She Gave Me More, She Gave It All To Me
Now Can't You See, What's Wrong With That
I Need To Know, 'Cause Here I Go Again
I Love You, I Love You.
Love Doesn't Come In A Minute,
Sometimes It Doesn't Come At All
I Only Know That When I'm In It
It Isn't Silly, No, It Isn't Silly, Love Isn't Silly At All.
How Can I Tell You About My Loved One?
How Can I Tell You About My Loved One?
How Can I Tell You About My Loved One?
(I Loveyou)
How Can I Tell You About My Loved One?
(I Loveyou)

The Truth Is

The truth is im so lonely
i have no-one to turn to anymore
nothing left to look for
The truth is im so hurt
my heart breaks everyday
it hurts, theres so much pain
The truth is i loved him too much
so much it hurt me in the end
we should have stayed friends
The truth is someone else loved him too
was jelous i could have him to myself
so much that they hurt him by putting him on the shelf
The truth is im a terrible person
and this is all my fault
all this pain i earnt and bought
The truth is he'd be alive if it wernt for me
i should have never spoke to him in the first place
the stress only helped the disease quicken its pace
The truth is i deserve this punishement
death would be too much of a release
keep me alive with my pain and loss, without peace
The truth is no-one cares
not even you reading this
you read these pretty words, you know nothing of the boy i miss
The truth is i give up
peacefullness is never coming my way
living in tortured pain, this is how i'll have to stay

Generosity

Getting a good life has been a knowing disease,
A ready living haphazard that is your property.
I find people are kinder as the days go by,
As they travel like a boat on a sea, and not a river.

Beauty can fail and wonders are for extra help,
Sugar can now be eaten if concentrated you are
In the sweet moments, the one and two forgiven.

Alive I cherish any remainder of hats and coats,
Alive I brandish a holy and saintly guide - the sword!

This is generous if my leader has a reading.

On this silly hill

On this silly hill I remember the silly things
That we did
We were so young and we decided to pick
Some ripe mangoes on this silly
Isolated hill away from
Our teasing
Silly friends

And I really liked her a lot
My heart was trembling
Her heart too quivering
We felt we like each other
Feelings like hot chili
Heating our ears

We said we love each other
We promised to love each other
Till the end of days

And so I climbed the mango tree
And picked the most luscious
Delicious mangoes as may be gleaned
From their color and shape
Thinking all the best for her
That I could give
To her

I put all the mangoes in my shirt
And I was silly looking silly like a tray to her
And she picked them one by one
Near my chest lower to my tummy
Nearer to my bulge

I was breathless
As she took more
Ripe mangoes from me
Slowly
Gracefully
Peeling with her mouth and tongue
Licking the yellowish pulp
And she said the mangoes were all
So sweet smelling and delicious
Like me

She was craving
She was raving
I was simply receptive
Giving in
All
To what she wanted

She touched my heart and we were silly
On our teens we did
What married people did on this silly hill
Isolated from silly friends

We did something adventurous
We had something marvelous
We did all those silly things
Like wild horses
In nature’s ways
Galloping
Breath taking

The years passed and now I am reaching fifty
Looking back I remember the silly things that we
Young silly people on our early teens did on this silly hill

We went and parted and she married the right man for her
I too went my own separate direction, taking a wife on my own

Looking back,
I feel sad,
I feel happy
What we silly teeny people did which we think was silly

Was all done in the name of pure love so endless
We were all virgins in love & we all thought of nothing else

Love and love and love
The mango was a symbol also of love
The silly hill was the seat of love
The mango tree was a climb of love
The isolation was all in the name of love
The whole was but love’s marvel
Love’s adventure

Love and love and love was all that we had
All love and love
Pure love
Unmixed untainted unblemished unadulterated
And they think it was silly
And I once thought it was silly

On that silly hill remembering the silly things we did
The silly things we said and promised

We did not talk about money, politics and family strategy
We did not bother about inheritance, a family name, a community reputation
We were not told whom to marry and when and always why.

Love can be developed and marriage can always be arranged
That to me are the silly things that we people do to ourselves.

This Disease

This disease
Im out of my class
This disease
Im needle sick again
This disease
We must expect such things
This disease
She finds me the girls
Tick tock tick
All gone all gone all gone
Tick tock tick
Whispering goodbye
Tick tock tick
Who is talking?
Tick tock tick
I dont have the choice
Look at me
A puppet dancing on strings
Look at me
And this is easy?
Look at me
I got the screams
Look at me
Words failing
This disease
This disease
