My Addiction
My addiction
It is a story of my addiction
Loved her a lot
Cared a lot
However, everything I do for her, never seems perfect
I am truly alone and not even my addiction is with me anymore
She is so far away, that her presence I cannot even feel
I am addicted to her
However, she is not addicted to me
Since, she can live without me
Love, seems good in stories
Although, in reality love pains and does make one bleed
Tears of joy always fade away
Sorrow creeps in life
To be honest I feel so empty without you
Although, reaching out to you is impossible
Earlier, I tried my best
To impress you, I did everything
However, you are my addiction, which is out of my reach
All that I can do is weep and weep
Even then, you will never be mine.

The addiction
The addiction to writing
Is worse than drug
Addiction to
shabu
Or marijuana
You want solitude
You do not talk
You shy away from friends
And your wife
Misunderstands your silence
As coldness of a lover
“Do you still love me? ”
it is worse
there is no hospital for writers
there are no rehabilitation centers
where they diagnose
you for an addiction for a certain
precise disease
why this man prefers solitude
why he does not dance
why he does not talk anymore
there is no drug prescribable
to this addiction
there is no doctor
there is no cure
meanwhile the symptoms keep
manifesting
looking beyond the window in deep thought
sleeping late and waking earlier than usual
He lives too far from everybody
Kin, friends, lovers, and country

Addiction
I don't drink
I don't smoke
Drugs are an
Absolute No.
So you must be
Thinking I've
No addiction.
Right?
No Babe,
Abso
Wrong!
I'm addicted
To you,
My love
What greater
Addiction
Do I need
Than being
Hopelessly
Helplessly,
In love with you
Endlessly…

Addiction
I have an addiction
that eats away at me
sadly there is no medical cure
for the habit that I have.
I have to feed its hunger everyday,
I tried to go cold turkey
and almost succeeded once
and stopped for almost seven years,
but its hunger kept breaking through.
Finally, I got to grips with myself
and said enough is enough
I am going to let my addiction go.
It was not that easy to break free
of something you have had
for almost half a century.
I had to try I said to myself
before it takes over my life itself.
Just as I was about to put
the last nail in its coffin
it escaped and got free.
Free to enslave me once again
to do its bidding.
I have given up now
to its craving of paper and pen
and to do its dance again and again.
What am I addicted too?
If by now you have not guessed,
my addiction must be pretty weak
as I am addicted to writing
at least one thing everyday.

Convenience
Needing!
And again I am from you...
Addiction free.
What you provided was not love.
What you provided,
Was a convenience to me.
A convenience to have someone there.
To hear breathing the air.
As if the company kept...
Communicated with chemistry.
Needing!
And again I am from you...
Addiction free.
It occurred to me,
To you I was just something to do.
And that wasn't done,
Seriously.
Even together,
You preferred to play hide and seek.
And I discovered,
I want and need love.
And when you left that feeling stayed.
Then I knew what you gave,
Was not love.
But a game to be played.
Needing!
And again I am from you...
Addiction free.
What you provided was not love.
What you provided,
Was a convenience to me.
A convenience that eventually,
Faded.
After the quick and ease of preparation,
Left immediately upon its release.

You know what
You know what, you can't guess how much I love you!
My mind has become a mosque to pray for you!
You’ve become my mind’s addiction,
You’ve become my eyes’ addiction!
My life was a desert without love,
I ran after the mirage a lot
To quench the thirst for my sweetest love!
Then you have come in my life
Like the clouds of monsoon rain
And painted my mind
With colors of love!

Tied By The Wrists To A Pity Pit
Down, down feeling gagged and bound.
And tied by the wrists to a pity pit.
Convicted with an accepting addiction of it.
Stretched beyond imagination,
People wish they could elope with their hopes.
At the end of slipping twisting ropes...
And blowing in a wind that shifts.
Picked and tossed across a river like a pebble.
And not making a ripple or a dent.
Hoping that a simple skip will give them a lift.
But that lift to them aint been sent to benefit.
People feel today they are weak and feeble.
With down cast eyes in cracks and ruts.
And no one seems to want to give that up!
But...
Down, down feeling gagged and bound.
Tied by the wrists to a pity pit.
And...
Convicted with an accepting addiction of it.
Oh...
Down, down feeling gagged and bound.
And tied by the wrists to a pity pit.
And...
Convicted with an accepting addiction of it.
Existing everyday to be defeated and licked.
Down, down feeling gagged and bound.
And tied by the wrists to a pity pit.
Convicted with an accepting addiction of it.
Doo doo doo doo doo down down,
Doo doo doo down down...
And tied by the wrists to a pity pit.
Doo doo doo doo doo down down,
Doo doo doo down down...
And tied by the wrists to a pity pit.
Doo doo doo doo doo down down,
Doo doo doo down down...
And tied by the wrists to a pity pit.
As if convicted accepting of it.

The Lust For Power Is An Addiction
The lust for power is an addiction the Government their own praises do sing
And rubbish their main opposition as to Government they try to cling
The voters bombarded with propaganda right up until election day
The true fact of all politicians is they seldom do mean what they say
The winners take all of the glory and the winners they do celebrate
The prize it is great and worth lying for that's how they feel those who wish to rule the State
The lust for power is an addiction and not a harmless addiction 'twould seem
Without such power some people feel worthless and suffer of low self esteem
Some people become so power hungry that power to their egos is fuel
They feel it is their right to Govern that they have been born to rule
The Opposition as bad as the Government they too want power in the worst way
Any respect to their political opponents they have no desire for to pay
It is all about power and their egos power to them is the best thing of all
Their pride to them is all that matter though pride it can come before a fall.

Addiction of a poet
Addiction of a poet
~
The dull ache persists
a disquiet longing
the opium of my words
knowing only silence
leaves me feverish
the addiction of it
draws every breath
anxiety, confusion
eyes lost into a gaze
the urge, desire to write
to feed upon again
the opium of my words
to satisfy this hunger
and break down the wall
which blocks creation
still the ache lingers
unnecessary
I must write

Hands of Time
Time is my drug, my addiction.
Tick toc, tick toc, tick toc.
I am running out, I panic!
I steal some from another.
Not knowing how much they have,
But still trying to add to my own lot.
There is never enough.
Always wanting more.
Waste mine, utilize another's.
Yet mine is more valuable?
At least that's what I think.
But really, I don't think.
I am just another thief.
Until it is another that steals mine from me.
I then realize the value of the currency.
If I share it, it cannot be stolen from me.
My investment grows.
As I invest mine in another,
Many begin to invest in me.
For now, it is no longer an addiction.
It is now my conviction.
I have let my hands become,
The hands of time.

All That Really Matters
R.sambora
When I look at you
Youre beautiful
There comes a time in someones life
When you find things that matter
And every time we touch
The love runs deep
We realize its our to keep
And thats all that really matters.
Youll always be my sweet addiction
In this life my saving grace
Youre all that really matters
You know its true
Aint no me without you.
When youre in the dark
Baby dont despair
Im just a spark away
I will be there
And thats all that matters.
Youll always be my sweet addiction
In this life my saving grace
Youre all that really matters
You know its true
Aint no me without you.
Well share our lives together
Yes our flame burns on forever
And at the final curtain call
We can say we did it all.
Solo
Youll always be my sweet addiction
In this life my saving grace
Youre all that really matters
You know its true
Aint no me without you.
And when we turns to dust
And we fly away
Therell be a light stil burning bright
And thats all that really matters.

Impatiently Immobiled
One's addiction to greed,
Eventually becomes...
A mental and physical,
Deficiency.
Observed but not admitted,
Are those who habitually...
Feed with gluttony,
Their disturbing selfish needs.
And excuses with them,
Continue in abundance.
As is their abuses,
Go undenied.
Attempts to tell those they are sick,
With an illness.
Becomes a battle against,
Those convinced they should be enabled.
Defending someone with a disease like this,
Does not do them justice!
But traps them inside a mind that lies.
With discipline wishes for them never to exist.
One's addiction to greed,
Eventually becomes...
A mental and physical deficiency.
Until impatiently immobiled!

The Addiction To Write
THIS is my addiction: to write
my failure: sometimes i write without a direction
and my success: i am writing about everything
that happened here
without missing a thing
thru symbols and signs
when things i met are unbearable
thru stories to illustrate what
misery have others inflicted upon others
and themselves
thru poems that can speak what i do not wish
to tell you
this is my addiction: writing without a purpose
except to spend time with you
descriptive and not judgmental
letting the hours go and not imprisoning them in the
cells of my mind
accepting the fact that i am as insignificant as you
that we pass this way
and we do not really know where we are finally going
we hope that this is not just this
but that there is something beyond
we suspect but we kill it
we live each moment and so we live without fear
we are here because we are here
we step upon a path because it is a path
we think we think we always do this thinking
and it must not be for nothing
we think, we think.

Extrinsic Addiction
My extrinsic addiction,
My intrinsic affliction.
Everything for the reward.
Money and matter are my Lord.
What's fake is seen
What's real unseen.
Makes me feel unclean.
Unpure, I am obscured.
Became too weak.
Now the truth I seek.
Lies I sought.
Untruths I bought.
They cost me my soul.
Lost all control.
They took their toll.
Spiral down the hole.
Til' I hit bottom.
No longer pursuing lies.
My addiction it dies.
Slowly I rise.
Replaced by a light,
For which I will fight.
I won't go quietly onto the night.
Now patient and kind.
The truth I did find.
God is my spirit.
The devil, my mind.

Fortune Is All I Care
Addiction to faith as knowledge is insane,
For the belief in you carries a burden.
Insanity carries genius, forsaken one,
Forsaken one please describe the knowledge.
To complete genius in one’s lifetime
You spend another life as an existence;
Fortnightly, the cure to all illness is taken,
Fortune married itself to the men of doctors.
The doctors are in this life, forsaken one,
For me, the whole world needed a doctor.
Doctors compose cures to make an effect of healing,
Yet addiction is a knowledge, not a wisdom.

Through The Fire...
Ever thought of a sentence
that you immediately just shot directly at the book
The pen is the sword
Piercing the paper
Through the fire
Against the human soul
Digging deep and penetrating
Your soul
My soul
Circulating words
taking over the position
of my hot blood
As the pen keeps writing
It is an Addiction
When you stick, stab, and pierce the body
at each stroke
The human addiction of writing
The souls..
Feelings and Inner thoughts
Thoughts that can kill the human flesh
through the flames of fire
Would you decide to get through the fire or continue my story?

The Road Between
Out on the road between nowhere and hell
I caught a glimpse of my reflection in you
But they cant believe I still want you around
Hung on the line between addiction and ?
I cant believe you said I hurt you again
But I cant afford to let you get away
And I cannot take the darkness when you stay
Youre all I see
And its definitely my fault
Youre all I see
But dont come near me at all
How many roads between your world and mine
How many broken doors and how many fights
I changed my furniture to make you go away
Im still overwhelmed at how much space you take
Youre all I see
And its definitely my fault
Youre all I see
But dont come near me at all
And I cant have you right now
And I cant get it right now
And I cant have you right now
And I cant get it right now
Youre all I see
And its definitely my fault
Youre all I see
But dont come near me at all
This is definitely my fault
Hung on the line between addiction and ?
I cant believe you said I hurt you again

Whatever you make it
Love is a game
My love game is sick
I'll have you fallin' quick
Love causes pain
Let my love take your heart
aching pain away
Love is heartbreaking
Trust that i wont break
Your heart only protect it
So can you feel this love connection
Love is a long-term commitment
Forever toghter you and me
Love is an addiction
Your addiction is my love
My love is a drug
A drug you can't get enough of
Love is time-consuming
So be patient with me
Love is real
If you find the right person to love
Love can be fake
When you're in lust
Fall to fast and become lost
With the wrong one
Love is whatever you make it

The Thoughts Unsaid (A screamo song)
You don't have to say it it's already a scar
You don't have to hear in your mind or your soul
Because these are: THESE ARE
The thoughts unsaid
The thoughts in all our
The thoughts that are (high voice)
In our head in our head!
This is the global addiction
This is the human condition
This is the global addiction
This is the human condition
Chorus
Give me the rush, make me feel alive
Gimme the rush, make me feel alive
Gimme the rush as I slowly die
Deaden my pain
Drum solo (3 seconds)
Deaden my pain
Drums + Electric guitar (3 seconds different)
Deaden my pain... With a greater pain!
Heal my heart with a bigger scar
Cause I like the way it hurts, (shouting) IT'S HOW WE ALL ARE
This is the global addiction x 2
This is the human condition x 2
Cause our actions prove our real thoughts, THE THOUGHTS UNSAID
Repeat chorus
(We don't want a cure
We don't want to be pure) x3
Shouting: We need a savior but we forsook Him (in one word increments)
