I think the lack of precision and deep focus is why it took me years to build up my work.

Made For TV Movie
I heard a word from on high
Clear like a light in the sky
It said, "quit blowing each other up"
The voice seemed so crystally clear
Some things are clean in your ear
When only blood fills your cup
Hello
I'm trying to focus, but my eyes deceive me
Focus
I'm witnessing history repeating
It fell like a tear from my eye
Flying machines so up high
Well, there goes the neighborhood
A scene set to singe innocence
Upheave, unhinge, and pit against
Like every made for TV movie should
Hello
I'm trying to focus, but my eyes deceive me
Focus
I'm witnessing history repeating
Focus, Focus
Focus (I can see now)
We are, we know, we see, we think for you
The who, the what, the when, the where, the why
We build your hill, we build you too, we see you
Hello
I'm trying to focus, but my eyes deceive me
Focus
I'm witnessing history repeating

Don't Only Focus On The Money
When you go for the money,
You'll be selling your soul.
And when one goes for just the money,
The heart turns cold.
So don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
Bling is nice but there's more to life.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Open your mind with bright wide eyes,
To take a ride that will excite you.
With a view to greater heights.
So...
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
When you go for the money,
You'll be selling your soul.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't let your heart grow old and cold.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
So...
Don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
So...
Don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
So you just don't focus on the money,
Don't.
So you just don't focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
'I feel funny when I don't have any money.'
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't you only focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't keep your focus on the fact that you always stay broke.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't stay focused on the money,
Don't!
Don't keep your focus on the fact that you always stay broke.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.

Focal Point...
what you are telling me is that you lack focus
i imagine what focus is
when i was a child i held a magnifying glass
and focused it to a ball of dried weeds
i got light from the sun
and of course the ball of weed turns into a ball of fire
i see the sun as the center of the universe inside my heart
i remember what you need: focus
just be careful, you will burn a ball of planets
soon you shall see a conflagration in our universe
all of us
not just watching but burning
now, with focus, comes what you think is success,
be careful, we may never find each other again
me? look at me? i am out of focus, i once burned all my books.

This Lack of Trust
this lack of trust,
from years of hurt and abuse
i try to let it go
but it's just no use
i get so confused
everything seems like lies
and not being able to trust
is one thing i despise.
this lack of trust
keeps me up all night
wondering, thinking..
should I give up or fight?
i want to believe
all the words that you say
i want to have faith
but it's been taken away.
this lack of trust,
i know it's upsetting,
but it's a direct result
of the pain I keep getting
when i finally give in
allow myself to believe
i get stabbed and punished
and brought to my knees
this lack of trust,
oh please be patient
because im definitly a risk
that needs to be taken
please give me your time
to build up my trust
because when it happens
we'll make a beautiful us.

Sleep Return to Me
Sleep has eluded me
leaving me with
a sense of a lack
of awareness
and a lack
of focus.
One nights rest
disturbed
a multitude
of time leaves
a teetering mind
and a wavering heart
Sleep Oh sleep
where hath thee gone?
I need you
to help me
regain focus through
the rest that you give
Sleep, return to me.

Each piece of art, worth years of work

The value of their work is well known
The origin of their work, is little known

There are a lot of things and in order to be at the top and maintain your focus you have to have something that motivates you. For me, it was what I perceived as a lack of respect from the boxing world as well as the media, which made me want to work so hard and be great.

We Work The Black Seam
This place has changed for good
Your economic theory said it would
Its hard for us to understand
We cant give up our jobs the way we should
Our blood has stained the coal
We tunneled deep inside the nations soul
We matter more than pounds and pence
Your economic theory makes no sense
One day in a nuclear age
They may understand our rage
They build machines that they cant control
And bury the waste in a great big hole
Power was to become cheap and clean
Grimy faces were never seen
But deadly for twelve thousand years is carbon fourteen
We work the black seam together
The seam lies underground
Three million years of pressure packed it down
We walk through ancient forest lands
And light a thousand cities with our hands
Your dark satanic mills
Have made redundant all our mining skills
You cant exchange a six inch band
For all the poisoned streams in cumberland
One day in a nuclear age
They may understand our rage
They build machines that they cant control
And bury the waste in a great big hole
Power was to become cheap and clean
Grimy faces were never seen
But deadly for twelve thousand years is carbon fourteen
We work the black seam together
Our conscious lives run deep
You cling onto your mountain while we sleep
This way of life is part of me
The is no price so only let me be
And should the children weep
The turning world will sing their souls to sleep
When you have sunk without a trace
The universe will suck me into place
One day in a nuclear age
They may understand our rage
They build machines that they cant control
And bury the waste in a great big hole
Power was to become cheap and clean
Grimy faces were never seen
But deadly for twelve thousand years is carbon fourteen
We work the black seam together

The Cities Of White Men
Those men build many houses:
They dig the earth, and they build;
They cut down the trees, and they build;
They work always - building.
From the elevation of the mountainside
I behold the clouds:
The clouds build many beautiful houses in the sky:
They build, and they tear down;
They build, and they dissolve. . . .
The cities of white men,
They are not beautiful like the cloud cities;
They are not vast, like the cloud cities. . . .
A wind-swept teepee
Is all the house I own. . .

Doing Boring Work Is a Form of Masochism…
Well, another day gone, maybe after
composing this elegy to my feisty
heroine I will be able to do some
translating and focus enough to do
filing, otherwise another day spent
in daydreaming - it is not of my
choosing, it’s getting out of control –
though it has never been different
I was just more used to stopping myself
before I got lost in my imagination
but nowadays I just lack the motivation
to stop indulging in stories evolving in
my head – besides, doing boring work
without inspiration is a form
of masochism…

Deep In The Heart
Angel, everythings gonna be alright
Angel, everythings gonna work out tonight
Thirteen years old, sweet as rose
Every petal of her wafer thin
Love will make you mine
Creep up from behind
Get you jumping out of your skin
Angel...its sink or swim
Deep in the heart
Deep in the heart of this place
Deep in the heart
Deep in the heart of this place
Door is closed behind me now
The window is sealed to shut out the light
Green as the leaves
And the cure of the meadow stain
Do your work, itll work out right
Deep in the heart
Deep in the heart of this place
Deep in the heart
Deep in the heart of this place
The scent of cedar, I can still see her
You cant return to the place you never left
Angel, well make it work out tonight
Angel, I wanna be home tonight
Door is closed behind me now
The window is sealed, they shut out the light
Green as the leaves
And the cure of the meadow stain
I do my work, and youll work out right
Deep in the heart
Deep in the heart of this place
Deep in the heart
Deep in the heart of this place...

He want to be married
My youngest brother want to be married,
we his older brother all confused.
He was not yet the work.
From long before he more liked chating
with his friends in the village
that in general also not the work.
If the night arrived they gathered in our house,
stayed up all night long til the morning,
chatted did not have the special focus.
The habit had been carried out
for years since the mother was still living,
to currently, three years after the mother died,
the habit continued to be carried out.
Was not thought about by them
from where they received the source of life.
they still believed on the good day and the bad day.
In fact the Lord created all the good days,
depended his humankind,
the work of humankind for the peer.

Precision is not one of the qualities that comes out in my work.
I feel like I'm a stay-at-home mom, which I was for the five years before this. She's absolutely been my focus. That's the choice I made. Desperate Housewives is perfect for me. I get to go back to work and still be able to take my daughter to school and pick her up.

The coffee break
Insert a moment or two in a day.
You can anticipate it, focus on it
And derive the anticipated pleasure
When those moments actually have arrived.
The rest of the day will seem a build up
For those moments kept in the focus
And will roll out easily without bore.
If you don't have one, create such moments.
Lunch and dinner are my two moments
Which I anticipate for the pleasure
Of smoking cigarettes, a constraint imposed.
To some even a coffee break will do.

Keep It Focused
Focus,
You may never have a chance to start again.
Focus,
There's no promises to end what just begins.
Focus on the 'here' and 'now'.
Tomorrow is not here to borrow.
Don't be dragging baggage,
From a past.
Focus,
You may never have a chance to start again.
Focus,
There's no promises to end what just begins.
Focus on the 'here' and 'now'.
Tomorrow is not here to borrow.
Focus and participate.
Today do not procrastinate.
Focus and participate.
Today do not procrastinate.
Even yesterday,
May be too late.
Don't be dragging baggage,
From your past!
Keep it focused,
On the things you do...
Knowing what it is pursued.
Focus,
On the things you do...
Knowing what it is pursued.
Focus!
Just keep your focus.
Focus,
You may never have a chance to start again.
Focus,
There's no promises to end what just begins.
Focus on the 'here' and 'now'.
Tomorrow is not here to borrow.
Focus!
Just keep your focus.
Focus.
Keep it focused.
And don't get caught up dragging,
Lugging baggage from your past.
