The coffee break
Insert a moment or two in a day.
You can anticipate it, focus on it
And derive the anticipated pleasure
When those moments actually have arrived.
The rest of the day will seem a build up
For those moments kept in the focus
And will roll out easily without bore.
If you don't have one, create such moments.
Lunch and dinner are my two moments
Which I anticipate for the pleasure
Of smoking cigarettes, a constraint imposed.
To some even a coffee break will do.

Treasured Moments
Every one of us has moments,
treasured moments to call our own.
They come when we’re not looking,
and linger with us a lifetime.
They bring happiness
that we can look back on,
through our growing years.
No one can steal them from us,
nor taint them in anyway.
They are our treasured moments,
that linger with us,
even when we pray.
They are little time capsules
that hold our world together,
when we are feeling down.

Tender, warm and serene
Are the words that might come close to having
Remnants of the feelings that we can no longer hide
Mighty, shining and clear
Are but mere expressions that dont come near
To the ever glowing eminence of light in our eyes tonight

Those Special Moments
If only we could keep
those moments from slippin' away,
grab hold of them and cherish them
and try to make them stay.
But moments like those so often
are hard to hold onto.
They slip right through your fingers
