I have found a flat on Merseyside and am settling down here. If I can keep playing and get back to full match fitness, I know I have a lot to offer still.

Going Back West
I was born and raised in the ghetto
Talk with me and youll know
I wasnt satisfied, with living on the side
I started looking around, for a possibility
Listen to my story, of what became of me
I met a businessman
Who said he had some friends back east
So why dont you come along
Well we can help you at least
Well make you into a big star
By playing your guitar
But the joke was on me
They left me flat to see
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night
Going back west (going back west)
I think Ill do alright
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night
Going back west (going back west)
I think Ill do alright
Struggling for recognition, identity and respect
I got a lot of promises
They told me not to fret
So we will stand by you
If the going gets rough
But when I started thinking
They didnt even bluff
bout a year has come and gone
And left me standing here
Thinking how it could have been
For still I aint nowhere
They surely took me for a ride
Trampled on my pride
But I hold my head up high
Got no more tears to cry
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night
Going back west (going back west)
I think Ill do alright
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night
Going back west (going back west)
I think Ill do alright
Going back west
Yes I know Ill make out alright
Going back west
Where my musics playing all night

Just The Way I Am
i'm not perfect,
but who really is,
i'm different and unique,
that just all me,
there more to me,
then meets the eye,
just wait and see,
it don't take long,
i'm a person that act normal,
but, is different than you know,
that's okay,
because along the way,
i found somebody great,
somebody who remain true to herself,
because she realize,
she was perfect just the way she was,
everything about her,
is what made her who she is,
without all of differences,
she'll just be like everybody else,
playing is safe,
because they're afraid to take a chances,
in what life has to offer,
she may back down at first,
like i said,
nobody perfect,
but, never getting back up to try again,
is a way of saying you will never win.

You Met Your Match
Hey you were good at playing the fox girl
When I was good you threw me a bone
But I aint playing hot for nobody
Girl just you wait til I get you home
Ill show you the way to love somebody
Like youve never ever been shown before
Cause my love lights burning
My whole lifes yearning for you
Hey baby you were playing the part with jimmy and freddie
You tried to make me look like a fool
But I took care of cindy and susie
Just to show you I can be twice as cool baby
If you want to learn how to love me
Ill teach you in my own private school
Cause my love love lights burning
My whole lifes yearning for you
You met you your match
When you play with my affection
You met you your match
When you tried to make me walk the line
When you decided you would hurt me
Thats when your grape feel off the vine
Your mama told me that I better be mellow
She said youre just a baby maybe too green
I told her jimmy, freddie, teddy and victor
They know better
Mama shake off that dream
I told her that you were really cooking
My love is burning for a turn at the steam
Hey, cause
My love lights boiling
My whole lifes yearning for you
You met your match
When you told me you loved me
You met your match
When you told me that you wouldnt let go
You met your match x7
Baby
You met your match x7
Baby
You met your match in me...

TODAY's prayer
I will praise God
And praise him with all my heart
I will sing praises to God
And I will sing praises to him at the top of all my voice
I will bend before him and lay flat on the ground
I will not look at him straight in the eye
I will offer all my heart
I will offer my entire mind
I will offer all my soul
I will offer him everything
That I have
I will offer all that I am
I will make another covenant with him
I will make another set of promises
I will sign a new agreement
I will execute a new set of promises
I will close my eyes and think of him
I will join him
In his silence
In his patience with my broken promises.

Flat
Back at the flat
I talk to my non-existent cat
Silence covers me like a Panama hat.
And the wonderful day we had at the zoo
Sunshine and ice cream; you snapped a Gnu.
Now echoes in the silence
That lonliness brings
Back at the flat where my life still clings,
Back at the flat i slowly fade in pain
Who will i hold so close again?
As cutting memories drive me insane
Trapped, i look out and it begins to rain.
Back at the flat i try to plan ahead
Feel one true kiss before i'm dead
Hold a hand that squeezes back tight
Drink wine and sing in someones moonlight.
Watching her in the kitchen, eyes glowing brand new
Now everything is a memory
Painted deep blue.
Back at the flat i dream a hug will come
A spark from her touch to heat this body numb.
Where is one night of stars to romance
She'll blow me a kiss as the world still rants.
My unknown love is waiting for me
All i need is her smile
And i'm flying free
Back at the flat my daydream ends
I cast my fate to the wind
And pray it ascends.

Flat Out
The sun was mighty warm today!
The lioness concurred...
She found a pleasant rock to lay,
A spot that she preferred...
And then she sort of melted there...
And with that rock was one,
Such that she simply didn't care
About that sizzling sun...
Her heavy eyelids flickered still,
Some consciousness to keep,
As if a final act of will
Before she slipped to sleep...
Her breathing in and breathing out
Were simply not the same
And should there be a single doubt,
She'd swear, the sun's to blame!
Flat out, she was, her tail as well,
Like one long stretch of string...
As if the victim of a spell,
She couldn't do a thing!
The mighty huntress met her match!
Flat out, for all to see...
And there she stayed, some sleep to snatch,
From noon till half-past-three...

Good Love
Everytime I get to see you
I get this feelin
Its so fuzzy inside
And as soon as I walk away from you
Im still tasting your kiss
Saving it in my mind
Its not everyday I find
A guy that makes me smile all the time
Not the way that you do
All the guys I thought I used to love
Compared to you they dont match up
They got nothing on you
I think I found a good good good love
The kind that will put it on you
The kind that you wanna hold on to
I think I found a good good good love
We can be lovers and friends too
And theyll do anything for you
A good love
Baby you got somethin special
That has me thinking of settling down
Youre the one my mama told me
Would sooner or later one day finally come around
I think I found a good good good love
The kind that will put it on you
The kind that you wanna hold on to
I think I found a good good good love
We can be lovers and friends too
And theyll do anything for you
A good love
I think I found a good good good love
The kind that will put it on you
The kind that you wanna hold on to
I think I found a good good good love
We can be lovers and friends too
And theyll do anything for you
A good love
You bring me joy
And you bring me much pleasure
I could never see myself leaving you ever
Your soft touch is good and it cant get no better
You have got my mind so caught up
Im drunk off of your good love
I think I found a good good good love
The kind that will put it on you
The kind that you wanna hold on to
I think I found a good good good love
We can be lovers and friends too
And theyll do anything for you
A good love
I think I found a good good good love
The kind that will put it on you
The kind that you wanna hold on to
I think I found a good good good love
We can be lovers and friends too
And theyll do anything for you
A good love
I think I found a good good good love
The kind that will put it on you
The kind that you wanna hold on to
I think I found a good good good love
We can be lovers and friends too
And theyll do anything for you
A good love
I think I found a good good good love
The kind that will put it on you
The kind that you wanna hold on to
I think I found a good good good love
We can be lovers and friends too
And theyll do anything for you
A good love
I think I found a good good good love

Flat Harry
Flat harry
Held onto his ship of 'one dimensionals'
His poster dream was full of ruin
His passion was to be found in the wreckage
These relics of some ancient grief
Flat harry kept a piece of the 'Titanic'
Under his bed
With his darkest dream
Flat harry was full of flaws and held his scars well
In a mirror crowd
He was the chat show celebrity
He gathered up his wounds for applause
He opened up his milk white pores
Knowing only clear white transparency
He slept at night with dreams of drowning
In someone elses life
Harry held onto his inflatables
His half intact ego
His 'tell it all confessional'
His 'dog collar' and his choirboy looks'
And someow he always floated to the surface
Amidst the so much ruin
The blank faced ocean
Still too shallow to drown
Head just above the abyss
And not for one second
Did he think
'There must be more to life than this? '

You Dream Flat Tires
It came to pass
Like lightening striking from above
Electric flash
Just like lightening striking from above
Struck by precious love
Precious, precious love
So hopeless and so inspired
Why do you dream flat tires
When you dream flat tires?
You dream flat tires
With a jack and a spare youre there
Trying to get to where love is
Coming in on a wing and a prayer
Trying to get to where love is
cause love is precious love
You said it was precious
When first you felt my fire
Before you dreamed flat tires
You dreamed flat tires
You dream flat tires
Woman she bounce back easy
But a man could break both his legs
Are you telling me that to tease me?
Or just to hear me beg
Please dont go!
Cause I know that you love me
But, when are you going to let love be
Just a vague flirtation
Or extra special company?
cause love is precious love
Everybody knows its precious
When first they feel that fire
Before they dream flat tires
They dream flat tires
They dream flat tires
Woman she bounce back easy
But a man could break both his legs
Do you tell me that to tease me
Or just to hear me beg
Please dont be cold
I know that you love me
But, what are you going to let love do?
(flat tires, love, love is precious, flat tires,
Love, love is precious, flat tires, love,
Love is precious)

Hat Too Flat
We come in on the morning scan
All the way from far arcturus
Bringing with us peace and good will
From the margins of space and time
Our women are slung down low to the ground
Theyre very good youve probably had one
Our men are brave, studly and wise,
A pleasure to behold
Right away we walk the walk
More or less we talk the talk
But every time we make our play
Their eyes get wide they run away
cause the hat stays too flat
My hat is way too flat
My english she is much better now
But my hat remains too flat
The man smells a rat
And thats the end of that
My english it is more better now
But my hat is still too flat
Fair arcturus fashion forecast:
Skirts will be shorter
Legs stay long
Virtual raincoats are coming back
Hats as always continued flat
Back at home the machines work hard
We folk like to take it easy
Honing our awareness of
The finer things of life
Here when I go down to my job
I work hard for what seems like a long time
I look at my watch: fifteen minutes
It felt like half a day!
Soon enough we break for lunch
Me and the boys now Im one of the bunch
But no one wants to sit with me
So tell me what can the matter be?
The hat stays too flat
My hat is way too flat
My english she is much better now
But the hat is just too flat
A little thing like that
They dont get past the hat
My english it is more better now
But my hat remains too flat

No, finito. Don't stay in the past. It's like playing tennis. If you win a match, you're not going to stay. You have to go to the next tournament. You're not going to come saying "I won the match, I'm the best." No, again on the courts and play. That's the life. It's like you. One article is not the same, so you have to write another one and another challenge. That's life.

A coach can only teach.
A coach is not a match to his players.
Stamina matters.
A teacher cannot match his students;
Memory matters.
A preacher cannot match his disciples;
Staunchness matters.
A husband cannot match his cuckold;
Curiosity matters.
Can a ladder match the climber?
