Men resemble great deserted palaces: the owner occupies only a few rooms and has closed-off wings where he never ventures.

Deserted Heart
The
Deserted heart
Found a new owner today
And that deserted heart
Belongs to me
So now I feel that
I have to give some love
For the deserted heart

Owner Of A Lonely Heart
Move yourself
You always live your life
Never thinking of the future
Prove yourself
You are the move you make
Take your chances win or loser
See yourself
You are the steps you take
You and you - and thats the only way
Shake - shake yourself
Youre every move you make
So the story goes
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Much better than - a
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Say - you dont want to chance it
Youve been hurt so before
Watch it now
The eagle in the sky
How he dancin one and only
You - lose yourself
No not for pitys sake
Theres no real reason to be lonely
Be yourself
Give your free will a chance
Youve got to want to succeed
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Much better than - a
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
After my own decision
They confused me so - owner of a lonely heart
My love said never question your will at all
In the end youve got to go
Look before you leap - owner of a lonely heart
And dont you hesitate at all - no no
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Much better than - a
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(repeat)
Owner of a lonely heart
Sooner or later each conclusion
Will decide the lonely heart - owner of a lonely heart
It will excite it will delight
It will give a better start - owner of a lonely heart
Dont deceive your free will at all
Dont deceive your free will at all - owner of a lonely heart
Dont deceive your free will at all
Just receive it

British Library Reflections - 0483 - The Common Grave
Take time from Time for line from line grows not,
Hell's weight awaits, the creeping Reaper snaps
Entwinèd threads. Sped, dead men need no maps,
Closed is hope's door, uncounted beaded knot.
On other subjects dwell, for, soon forgot,
Man's transient triumphs wither. Death entraps.
Most stillborn live, their passing seen as lapse
Of taste or circumstance ‘twixt grave and cot.
Now, in the Present, find fresh wings, and spot
Great future from above, avoid collapse.
Remember Lethe's unplumbed depths perhaps
Answer the 'why? ', one's 'I' is passing dot.
Ventures may be gained, ignore the night,
Enjoy existence, enter into light.

House
House without owner
Beyond imagination
Owner without house
Not full culmination.
If owner is not here
Imagine the condition.
What is the value of
The owner is house
Is not here.

What It Took for Me To Get Here
Perhaps I am old fashion.
With a joy of having peace...
And surrounded by quietness,
I've discovered I love alot.
But I can not live within my home,
With rooms that are closed.
And each padlocked.
That's why I refuse to share my space,
With those who have issues.
And I trust not.
'You have enough space.
We could share as room-mates.
We can split expenses.
Doesn't that make sense? '
'Trust?
I'm talking about saving us both a few bucks.'
'What are you saying?
You can't use a few more dollars,
In your pocket?
Allowing you to breathe.
Economically and more freely? '
'So you are saying you prefer to live alone?
Even though you are tight on funds? '
I wouldn't trade this for a million dollars.
Or a feast I could eat everyday,
To have my life any other way.
You have no idea,
What it took for me to get here.

Closed Door
sometimes we want to enter
a door
a closed door that does not open
no matter how hard we
knock
we try being courteous and gentle
and so patient
eating every waiting time
like we are the most foolish of all fools
knocking a closed door
seducing it more often with our
pleadings
begging and even compromising
for a dance
to convince the owner of the door to
open it
but no one hears, no one cares to listen
to our pleadings,
no one likes the dance of compromises
the door is still closed
and then the last crooked thing happens
we take the axe
and break the door which is closed
forcing it open
only to find that all the people there are dead
there is nothing inside
but mystery and
grief
an unsolved crime, no more
no less.

God Is The Light
God is the Light
How great the wonders of the heavens
And the timeless beauty of the night
How great then how great the Creator?
And its stars like priceless jewels
Far beyond the reach of kings
Bow down for the shepherd guiding him home.
But how many eyes are closed
To the wonder of this night?
Like pearls, hidden, deep beneath a dark
Stream of desires.
But like dreams vanish with the call to prayer
And the dawn extinguishes night here too are signs.
God is the Light - God is the Light
How great the beauty of the Earth and the creatures
Who dwell on her.
How great then how great the Creator?
As it's mountains pierce the clouds
High about the lives of men
Weeping rivers for thousands of years.
But how many hearts are closed
To the wonders of this sight?
Like birds on a cage, asleep with closed wings
But as work stops with the call to prayer
And the birds recite here too are signs
God is the Light God is the Light
How great the works of man and the things he makes
How great then how great the Creator?
Though he strives to reach the heavens
He can barely survive
The wars of the world he lives in.
Yet, how many times he's tried,
Himself to immortalise?
Like his parents before him in the Garden of Eden
But like the sun sets with the call to prayer
And surrenders to the night here too are signs
God is the Light Everlasting
God is the Light Everlasting

I Can Be My Own Galaxy
closed door.
everything not close,
open fingers.
closer hues,
like purple to red and violet,
they are closely entwined, but not
closed,
they may be close enough
to resemble the kind of warmth
and ambiance found within
the nearness of their hues,
but they know, on closer
scrutiny, their differences,
distinct as sand to sun,
separable as clouds
to rain,
and you to me,
i am warm as red,
you are pink as desire,
we blend, i am fire and
you are this cinder.

I am Not Alone
The night, it is deserted
from the mountains to the sea.
But I, the one who rocks you,
I am not alone!
The sky, it is deserted
for the moon falls to the sea.
But I, the one who holds you,
I am not alone !
The world, it is deserted.
All flesh is sad you see.
But I, the one who hugs you,
I am not alone!

The Great Empty
closed!
out of business!
building for rent,
or sale!
22 vacant buildings on one street!
small-town America.
even the sidewalks are deserted...
except for paper cups,
and cigarette butts blowing
in the breeze...
empty windows,
boarded up doors....
the echo of voices
from the past,
from another day...
lost to the great empty!

Great teaching traffics in enduring puzzlements, persistent dilemmas, complex conundrums, enigmatic paradoxes. On the other hand, certainty is closed, and closed streets don’t interest the mind. Great ideas have legs. They take you somewhere.

What Could Have Been Unreal
there is a sorrow that i do not want to speak
it is something that i cannot give away
there is time that keeps on going and if i stay
i will just be left out and buried in this delay
there is a grief that cannot really be spoken
there is this pain that goes on and one
there are empty parks and empty cafes
there are closed doors and locked rooms
there is this self sometimes that does not open
there are fingers that remain closed upon themselves
there is a song that i can only sing inside myself
there is this poem that keeps on evading what is it that could have been said
all these are mine alone and all these keep me moving on
remembering, loving in silence, keeping the tears frozen, creating what could have been unreal.

The Adults
inside their rooms
they do in secret what we all know
they do not kiss and tell
they keep to themselves
what this world
tells to everyone
the more educated they become
the more they conceal
the more closed
are their doors
and the collaboration
is gone.

Chat Room For Lonely People
Thoughts are the very essence
Of human existence
Even though they sometimes create discord
Whether you express them via your vocal cords
Or through your keyboard
When you are bored.
Didn't folks used to have rooms
Called drawing rooms?
But now all that is left
Is our 'privacy' of which we are bereft.
So, instead of drawing rooms
We have chat rooms
For lonely people
Who would like to chat with friendly people.
